Nachteile

The sites aren't as visually appealing compared to other website builders and there isn't much creative freedom available. The theme collection is getting bigger but still not great compared to other tools.

The website builder is made for people who have never created a website in their life. Very use-friendly and the customer service was great. I am in the field of accounting but this has allowed me to create a website that looks like it was made by a pro.

You may be on hold to talk to the right customer service representative but definitely helpful when you speak to someone.

My favorite part about Go Daddy was the ease of use. I had never built or maintained a website prior to using Go Daddy. While I was intimidated at first, they provided a platform that made the chore easy. Everything was presented in terms I was able to understand. I was able to quickly get a feel for what I needed to do to achieve the look I was going for. The ease of use was definitely what I liked most.

I don't really have anything that I don't like. My most frustrating issue occurred one time when I was making a few changes. After editing the content, it did not save. Although I think this was my error...user error, it was frustrating that I had to recreate the changes.

No need to know anything about coding to be able to produce a reasonable website very quickly. SEO is sophisticated with additional tools to option and get your business noticed in record time. My business was already ranked within Google in under a few months, which is perfect.

The functionality was of issue to me as there was no scope to process manual transactions on the payment interface. Some areas are too complex to manage on your own, like setting up hosting and SSL .
Outlook used to work on my iPad and is no longer supported in certain tablets, which is a shame as this means you can access mail on the go without a laptop.

There is a very limited amount of templates, and you have to work very hard to create something unique with their limited features (fonts, designs, colours, gimics etc). The trial and error is time consuming trying to make it work consistently or with computer vs. tablet vs. phone.

I like that there were a few page styles already built-in, so I could choose a template & quickly modify. I liked that it was easy to create new pages & provide links. I liked the buttons, links, maps & social stuff was easy to configure.

There wasn't enough customization. You couldn't mix & match fonts or colors. You couldn't format the text (so if you needed to put in columns of information, you couldn't). Also, it was difficult to modify for mobile - the web & mobile views didn't match up & it was extremely difficult to get a photo or text to align the same way. It translated to mobile easily, but the site on your phone looked a bit more sloppy than I would have liked.

I actually liked the earlier versions of their website builder program, called Website Tonight. It had better form option and better editing ability. But the new program has a cleaner, sharper, yet simpler look and functionality. So it's a great program as well.

Normally my biggest con is the price but with multiple payment options this doesn't stand out for me. I think the major con is the lack of creative design. GoDaddy doesn't offer the creative designs many of the other platforms offers.

I liked the drop and drag feature plus the overall layout of the Website Builder blog in general. I found it to be super easy to use and I never experienced any downtime or have a great deal of questions about how to set up my blog with this plan. It was very organized and less-time consuming or frustrating than other website builder that I used plus it could connect to my social media profiles, allow me to incorporate sharing and other features to make it very functional.

The website just looks great. It supports lots of different file types. The editing of the site is easy and pain free. The customer service is also excellent if any bugs come up.

While it is generally pain free, there were a few instances of glitches/bugs with formatting the pictures, text, and backgrounds of my mothers website. She was able to call customer service and they walked her through the process of fixing the issues. They were very kind and helpful and now the site looks and works great.
