The site customization options are very detailed and would easily rival that of other popular programs like word press. The plug ins and input abilities are vast and seeing as how it is very cut and paste and plug and play you can bring any attribute of a professionally made site into play and with the go daddy website builder that even the most computer illiterate person can make a beautiful well balanced and smooth web site in a reasonable amount of time and this can cut your overhead down from not having to pay to build and implement any attribute to your site

Nachteile

I would have to say I have a hard time finding something I dislike about said builder. It covers all corners of the building processes. The only issue I had is i wish there were more options in the packages you can buy or at least an option to pick your extras more in said package deals.

Lo que menos me ha gustado, como programador y web developer es necesario que implementen snippets para que se pueda agregar codigo , existe una parte donde deja agregar codigo pero por ejemplo cambiar todo el fondo de la pagina solamente se puede como color solido y no se puede subir una imagen. Intente hacerlo con codigo css para poder editarlo pero no se pudo.

It's a bit challenging when it comes to uploading photos and images. Also for a business that requires more functionality, customization and optimization, this may not be it.

I really enjoy the ability the program has for me to jump right into building my website. I was offered a variety of templates and could see the sample of what it would look like as I was building the different elements of the site. It would give you examples of what you might want to put in the different sections available to add to your page. I was able to use some of the templates and use them in a different way than suggested and loved the unique ability to do so. I also enjoy the ability to preview how the site will work with the user both on their computer or device.

Nachteile

I did find some of the features limiting in color schemes or in fonts. I can only imagine it's due to programming code and that might be the whole point of these sites; to avoid having to be a code builder. I wish there was more templates or flexibility within the templates to change fonts or colors or position of a text box, etc.

What I like best about the software is that it is very simple to use. In addition the customer support is excellent. They are there when you need them and will walk you through every single step in a truly professional manor, which is so appreciated when you not not the most technically advanced person.

Once figuring out the ease of getting assistance from customer support things were so much easier. I would say it is confusing at the being linking up all your devises, but it was a snap once I reached out for help.

I have been using Godaddy for many years now to register/host my domains.
I have always been happy with their website and customer support.
Good Customer Support is important in this day and age and GoDaddy has always gone that extra mile to make me feel good about things and answer my questions in a easy to understand format.

I can not think of anything to say negative other then I wish they still offered the good coupons for re-registering like they once did. Now adays to get those you need to join their club at a cost easy year.

I utilize this software on behalf of my clients, to run their websites and storefronts online. We have used it as hosting, building, and development, depending on the stage of the client's business. The system runs beautifully, and their support personnel are always available to help. We have also used it integrated with Wordpress, which is our favorite feature, as my client's often need a Wordpress integrated site for their blogs on their sites. The price is affordable and they often offer special offers. As far as building features, it allows easy editing and smooth publishing ability.

Nachteile

Occasionally, the site requires more than one login attempt, and it freezes up. These don't occur often, and are usually fixable.

GoDaddy is very user-friendly and the navigation is very logical and easy to use. I have used several website builders and find GoDaddy to be the easiest. There are many beautiful and professional looking templates and many great stock images that are included in the website builder. You can create a very professional website in a short period of time for an affordable price.

I wish that there were more customization options with the templates. As someone that is in the learning stage of html coding, there are things I would like to be able to do without having to extensively research the coding aspects (changing the font or background color, for example).

The product was easy enough to use and figure out. It’s targeted towards the every day person, which is wonderful for those who can’t necessarily spend a lot of time trying to figure out a website. It had a lot of drag and drop options, that help those without technical knowledge stay in the game essentially.

It lacked a lot of features and was aimed more towards beginners. Intermediate and advanced developers or designers will feel incredibly underwhelmed with regard to how little they can customize.

After promotional period is over almost nothing is included in the annual subscription to the hosting site. Most importantly, the SSL certificate expires after the promotion expires, and you have to purchase it separately. It's extremely costly compared to other hosting sites, and if you don't purchase the SSL certificate it renders your website useless, as far as marketing goes.

Godaddy has a very antiquated email layout and functions. It feels very early 2000s. The settings options is very limited, such as fonts, email forwards, email storage, and the general look of it.
We pay for this email but honestly, you can get a better email for free at gmail.

It took many months to get our website up and running. The design team had poor communication.

It’s not geared to photography so I had a few issues trying to setup galleries and things I needed for a photography website.

Whenever I have needed customer support, the representative has been helpful, charming, and informative. I am always offered upgrades or alternative solutions but I never feel pressured. The program itself is easy to use, I have had no problem creating multiple websites by myself even though I had zero experience prior to GoDaddy.

Nachteile

This isn't a deal breaker, but it used to be more flexible/customizable for things such as choosing fonts and layouts. Then the revamped and you basically pick a design package and fill in the blanks. It's been like this for a while and I still like the old way better. Also, using it for real estate, it is expensive and complicated trying to link my website to links of external listings to showcase.

It's fairly easy to navigate and use, even as an amateur, and has a great help menu. Through trial and error, I've build a website over one of their frames that I'm fairly proud of! Most of the buttons are crystal clear and the commands are streamlined for easy use.

There are certain things that are not as self-explanatory or easy to find, but they are there. The basic sites do not have endless features, but you do get what you pay for...and what you opt to create on your own.

The godaddy site builder platform is designed to be easy to use for the not as experienced basic user. You can't really create an ecommerce developed site more of an information and display site. It is perfect for it's targeted audience but has its limitations.

This newest version of Website Builder is much more intuitive than previous versions - and now it is so easy to select a template (or change your existing one), make changes to your content "on-the-fly" and publish immediately - then you check your updates on the web to make sure everything is how you want - not as clunky as previous versions and waiting to check updates, etc.

Nachteile

There are some limitations to the Website Builder like font sizes and placements of certain blocks. Color usage for backgrounds and certain other blocks are also somewhat limited.

GoDaddy itself is a fantastic company their domain management and other services or top notch but when it comes to their website builder I'm not impressed.

My cons would start with the real time editor, the drag and drop feature which normally doesn't work for me in any aspect. I was hoping for a better experience using GoDaddy website builder

This is incredibly easy software to use for getting a website up. It's inexpensive compared to hiring somebody to make one. Also there is some SEO baked in so it can show up on your web searches. We have been using this software for many years and like it so far.

The least aspect of this software is not knowing how to use it to it's full potential. I highly recommend taking a tutorial class and getting help on how to use it on a broad spectrum. To get the full experience for your company and your brand.

The GoDaddy website builder is highly practical and simple to use. It features a variety of designs and templates to pick from that will be ideal for your business. The 30-day free trial was really helpful in getting to know the programme and putting it through its paces to ensure it fulfilled our expectations. I really appreciate how it integrates with Square and has built-in shipping choices for when you ship items to consumers.

Once you've chosen a template, you won't be able to modify any of its page designs. You must simply go through the template. When it comes to functionality and personalization, it is more restricted. After developing my entire website, I discovered that I required a completely different platform than GoDaddy provided for mobile and tablet apps. I'd have to start from scratch to adapt everything to the other platform that supported mobile and tablet settings. Because I am a monthly subscriber to GoDaddy and use numerous of their products, it would be helpful for them to make the conversion for you, but it would cost them more money to do so.

I have 5 or so active websites. When I started building sites for my companies many years ago, I used Yahoo!. Yahoo! was good, but they stopped offering that service so I switched to Go Daddy. The Go Daddy templates not only are limited, but they don't look very nice. So, once I heard about Wix, I switched to them. I will admit, Wix is not perfect and I think that there is still room for a better competitor in this space or for Wix to improve. Because Wix has gained some moat in this space, they have been stubborn on pricing. As a result, I decided to check out Go Daddy again recently. While they have somewhat improved their offering, it is still behind the competition and even if it is a little cheaper than Wix, not worth it.

It is easy to get started and is very intuitive. Anyone can have their web presence up and running in no time, with a great look for a great price. The variety of themes/templates covers a wide number of industries. You can add images, documents and link to videos and also collect payments. If you are an affiliate it takes html so the site is clean and professional. Social media integration and linking to other content is a plus.

As far as cons, not being able to have a scrolling marquee is a feature I would like to see Godaddy add.

We switched from WordPress to GoCentral when needing to update our website. The simplicity of the platform made the transition quick and the resulting site a major improvement from our outdated previous site. It also gave us a mobile friendly site automatically as part of the build.

Nachteile

While limited options felt nice when just knocking out the original design, the limitations have stopped us from doing many of the upgrades we had hoped once the initial site was up. There is a small set of preset fonts available, workarounds are often needed to get layouts to display as desired, and no control of the back end is available at all. Customer support is laughable when working through issues. At one point they told me I was not able to add a type of layout that was already part of my published site.

I find it easy to use and manage, I like to be able to have all my websites in one place as well and be able to pay and renew my URLs in the same space.

I am just not sure the price is right, it seems a little high compared to their competitors. I started using GoDaddy as a way to manage my URLs and pay for them each year so I have been a long time user of their services but am newer to their web building.
