Awesome as a database
Very pleased.

I use it to keep track of a lot of stuff, including books, movies, team management, and gift ideas. It is easy to use, it offers a lot of features and storage space for free users, and it is elegantly designed.

I wish I can use the formula feature to calculate the number of days between (today) and (due date).

Excellent Program! It solved a major problem for our online charter school.
Ease of use, easy to customize, integrates well with SharePoint, templates were well designed and intuitive.
Vorteile
This software comes with user-friendly templates and is very easy to customize. We needed an "Issue Tracker" that kept technical, scheduling, and student issues all in one place. We used the "Bugs" template and customized it for our school. It is incredibly easy to use, and it is easily incorporated into SharePoint (our primary home for school-related documents).
Nachteile
There really isn't anything I didn't like about this software. I wish we had known about it sooner. As we work to move all of our documentation into SharePoint, it was the perfect product to meet our needs.

Airtable helped me a lot when I had to demonstrate to students on cloud storage functionalities when we were creating an app for storing, deleting, and updating data.

Airtable has allowed us to work and organize all in one space.
Vorteile
Once you use Airtable there is no going back. The product is far and above better than the rest.
Nachteile
It can be hard to get used to because there is so much that can be done. I'd give yourself a day to play around with the product to get comfortable.

I love the ease of use, the fact that it is cloud based, and the ability to create different views and public views.

Airtable is not as robust a database as MS Access. The queries and reporting features are more limited.

I've been using the free account to test airtable as a web content gathering tool
Vorteile
Airtable does it all: you start with a somewhat traditional spreadsheet and then, like magic, you can output any type of visualisation you can think of. The possibilities are endless!

Airtable for Small Business
With Airtable, I can create tables that are linked, contain necessary information, and it's accessible from anywhere I have access to the internet. I like using Airtable for all my small business tracking.
Vorteile
I loved the tables and the capabilities it has to be intergrated with other tables. Everything works smoothly. I really like that things can be color coded, ownership can be added, and everything is user friendly.
Nachteile
I haven't found anything I dislike about the software yet.

Finally, An Easy to Use Database
Vorteile
Airtable is a fantastic tool to use for almost anything. It's a database with a spreadsheet interface, making it easily usable for anyone with basic Excel skills. It also includes collaboration abilities so that "bases" (what they call each database) can be worked on by more than 1 individual. What I like most is that it can be used for so many different purposes. It can be used as a CRM, a project tracker, a scheduler, and the list goes on... It is also very affordable for business use, and free for personal use in most cases.
Nachteile
As I mentioned, Airtable is a fantastic tool. With that being said, it is not perfect. The one thing that I would like to see added is the ability to connect databases to one another. It seems that this is still not an available feature.

Manage Data with Airtable
It's been okay. I initially imagined I could use it for data analysis, but it's really more for managing and filtering data.
Vorteile
I have mostly been using Airtable for personal consumption rather than business use. I like how things are color-coded. It's easy to use especially when making gantt charts.
Nachteile
You can't do much data analysis when on Airtable. You'd still have to download the file as a CSV and move onto Excel.

Pretty Cool Product
We used this product for a special project where we collaborated with literally hundreds of people all at once. It went really well for the most part. The project took a few months, and besides user error, there were no real issues.

Amazing software
Vorteile
I started using it as a spreadsheet alternative and it became much more. Great UX and very easy to use. The colors are awesome. Very customizable and easy to set up. If you follow the blogs, and message boards people are doing some really cool things with Airtable.
Nachteile
There are so many use cases it's hard to get people to switch over. Most people think it's just a spreadsheet software but it's much more.

Vorteile
The tool is quite easy to use and offers a lot of useful fuctions for team collaboration and project management. Additional to kanban board there is a team calender and base forms - which are not available in other tools. The design is very friendly and can be easily customize. You can test all features in a free trial and see if its fits for your team.

If you are not fimiliar with working on database it can be difficult at the beginning.

I LOVE Airtable
Airtable has saved my bacon more than once. So many times, I looked at a spreadsheet and wondered "is this the best way to organize this information? what if I want other people to only choose from three options to avoid misspellings and mistakes?" Never again! Airtable is the "spreadsheet" I never knew I wanted until I found it. The layout is pleasing, the functions are simple yet complex, and I haven't run out of space yet! Highly recommended to anyone who wants to do more with their spreadsheets without the hassle of googling excel functions every other minute.

Finally, a spreadsheet and database marriage that works
Vorteile
Quite a few have tried, but I've never found something that actually worked for me till Airtable. I love the fact that they executed this right, made it easy to learn (not necessarily to use, there is still a learning curve), have very responsive helpdesk members and videos.
Nachteile
Still takes time to figure certain things out, especially the more complex functions. But again, help is readily available.

Free Version Has Good Features, But Not Perfect
As a project management tool, we were frustrated that the comments section expired in the free version and also that the free version had a small limit in files size uploads.
Vorteile
This product is easy to use and figure out - at the core, it's a fancy spreadsheet document with lots of bells and whistles. It's a good organization tool that keeps lines items orderly.
Nachteile
We used the free version with our team for a while and its was a little overwhelming for some people as it has multiple ways to view the sheet and there was confusion between Bases, Tabs, Sheets, etc. Maybe with a little more practice, it would've been better for us.

I am able to keep track of damages and photos and many people can have access to this software. Even the price is reasonable and my employees can use this for different tasks.

Vorteile
I use widen digital library with airtable to create databases out of digital asset exports. It works great.
Nachteile
No issues with this that I am aware of. It is only more robust than I realize and will require more time with the software.

Product with slightly confusing interface
Vorteile
I was looking at this software originally because of the form capabilities. I liked the versatility of the forms one can create for data input in a database. I also loved that it was cloudbased.
Nachteile
After further using this product, I found it confusing and difficult to work with. I did not use it enough to truly get a grasp on it but from initially looking at it, it was very confusing and not easy to work with.

Excellent way to organize your data
I'm able to quickly search to get the information that I need. Much easier than setting up a spreadsheet with pivot tables.
Vorteile
It's so user friendly. It's easy to set up multiple tables then link them together to combine all the data you need.
Nachteile
I wish there was a way to create a form that could be used to easily fill out a record. The fields in the form would be used to populate the various tables.

Great for Inventory!
Vorteile
I couldn’t find an app to use for inventorying my department’s makeup supplies for our Christmas drama. Finally, I came across Airtable, and was thrilled to find a versatile app for all of my organizational needs!
Nachteile
My only suggestion would be to create a better design for each table. I’d rather see picture of each inventoried item instead of its description.

Was a bit too much for us
Okay, it depends on your needs. We resorted to using Trello. It was simplier and fit out needs much better.
Vorteile
Does more than most comparable tools, very flexible, and price efficient.
Nachteile
Does everything, so it requires a bit of setup. We found the onboarding was too long. It took over an hour to configure it as per our needs. I think the mass of options was what caused the confusion.

Great project management tool
Vorteile
Used Airtable to keep tracking of all my on going projects. Low profile and works great. I can share my progress with whoever I want. Also changing status etc.

Spreadsheets on streiods
It took some time to get our team on board and to set it up the way we wanted, but once that was done, it has been fantastic.
Vorteile
I love that for our projects, we can see what is happening in real time, we can plug in the tools we use to get results, and we can modify it to do exactly what we need it to do (offline notes, tracking, non customer facing)
Nachteile
It takes times to set up. There are parts that are less user friendly, particularly when it comes to formatting and implementation, but if you do it right, it works so well.

A good and free tool
It's a good and free tool. It makes digital asset management easy for small businesses.
Vorteile
I have used Airtable a few times while collaborating on projects. The project tracker page makes it easy to organize projects by clients and categories. I like that I can see the little thumbnails of the visuals/photos that are added to projects. The calendar view is a great feature too.
Nachteile
Airtable doesn't strike me as the most user-friendly option among similar softwares. It tends to get complicated when multiple people are editing the content/tables. I have unintentionally messed up the functionality before.

Goodbye Spreadsheets
It's my new favorite way to keep things organized. I can manage a video editing process flow using a kan band and also organize social posting calendar. It's great to be able to switch between a table view and a calendar view.
