My favorite thing about Workhuman is how simple it is to purchase or redeem gift cards. The fact that using the voucher to apply it to any of your purchases or as a gift will not take you long makes it incredibly convenient. It will ask you to double-check the information before using the voucher to ensure that you will not make any mistakes. It allows time for review prior to submission. Additionally, the code will be available in a matter of minutes.

Nachteile

If I were to search for one thing, it would be the variety of gift card amounts that I could use. It would be fantastic if they let you enter any custom amount that you could use as a voucher.

It's an awesome and complete tool to recognize employees, the best perk is that the tool is very efficient, so whenever there is a recognition to anyone is fast and that credit is available to be used for a lot of variety of gift cards, those gift cards also come really fast to your email and they always work.

What I like most about Workhuman is that the system allows Leadership and Peers alike to recognize others immediately when merited. When using an Annual Merit Increase system, many of the positive efforts put forth by employees gets lost in all the other work that takes place. Being able to recognize employees quickly for a 'Job Well Done' really helps employees feel like their contributions and efforts are meaningful. It feels bad when employees are quickly acknowledged when something is wrong but forgotten when something positive happens. In addition to the previous comment, the fact that our Reward Point do not expire is positive in a way I cannot even express is this small amount of space. HUGE Win there.

A couple things I do not like about Workhuman:

* Poor default sorting of catalog items
* Inability to truly customize sorting and filters
* Inability to request additional Manufacturer options for Items and Give Cards in a formal way that gives employees a chance to explain the request and or discuss the inability to add certain items due to extenuating circumstances. Too many times in the corporate environment, employees are given a canned response to questions like this and all it does is cause frustration. We are all adults, let's treat each other that way. It's amazing how far that behavior reaches in terms of how employees feel day-to-day.

There are no things I like least, but I would suggest to have the prices reviewed for some of the products, as they do exceed a lot the market price...however, local influences may be a thing, and for that, there's always the option to exchange to e-cards. As a corporate employee I have used Workhuman for more than 1.5 years now and the experience has been great. The platform is user-friendly, intuitive and appealing in general. It helps foster a positive work environment where each employees feels recognized for their hard work. It helps managers reward their employees for any achievement or milestone in their career. I received some recognition points and a personalized note from my manager on the day I completed one year in my company. It made me feel really special and boosted my mood. We also get emails from time-to-time to recognize out colleagues with whom we work on a daily basis. It's not always necessary to include recognition points, but you can just leave a heartfelt appreciation for all that they do to help the team succeed. Workhuman also has a dashboard showcasing recent events like promotions or other achievements from people across the organization, and we get to be a part of it by reacting and commenting on the posts. Now coming to reward points, they are the easily redeemable for a wide variety of gift cards of different denominations, there is something for everyone! Once redeemed they are sent over to your email inbox very quickly.

Nachteile

The integration of the Recognize platform with Microsoft Teams could be better. I have sometimes seen that the automated message sent over via Teams chat is not accessible and it does not lead to the correct page, or their is some delay with the interaction

The user interface is generally good, and it's a clear, valuable reward for employee performance rather than an empty gesture. It makes a big difference to be able to select for myself what I put my rewards towards, and the ecards are brilliant for taking the edge off a pricey hotel or some really useful household goods that unexpectedly need to be replaced. Being able to select gift cards from other countries for online shopping is great too. Probably the best perk in my workplace, and it's a big deal to receive a nomination.

The Irish gift card catalogue selection is notably narrower than other territories (such as UK or France) and seems to be getting narrower all the time. This means that when Argos (a handy catch all) pulled out of the Irish market, Appreciate vouchers became far, far less useful to us. I recently wanted to use my points for a hair straightener - the only two options for me to use them available were way, way overpriced and one would have required me to wait for vouchers by post and then go to a store, which just wasn't practical.

The everyday behavior of every employee makes your culture. When the company rewards its employees for going above and beyond their core values, best behavior continues. When best behavior is prevalent, the culture strengthens; when these things happen, retention and engagement increase.

The only thing I can see improvement upon is the mobile app. It may just be me but I have not been successful using the app - and I do appreciate having immediate access so that I can immediately approve my employee's nominations even when not at my desk.

At the outset of my shopping experience, I was disheartened to find that a few of the products delivered to me were previously used. It seemed as though the supplier may have been dishonest. However, I am pleased to report that the situation has since improved significantly. All the products I have received lately are brand new and function to my utmost satisfaction. I am currently not facing any issues.

On another note, I would appreciate it if the product listing could display a larger number of items simultaneously. The current design, which requires infinite scrolling through pages, is rather inconvenient and time-consuming. I believe this enhancement would greatly improve the user experience.

Need to improve their customer support and if they can concentrate on the redemption of the reward points balance to exchange as gift cards without rounding up the points example, If an employee having 1020 points balance he/she could only redeem their balance by starting 300 points in 3 times, So that they will get 3 gift cards worth the balance with the left over 120 points in their wallet, instead of this if they can exchange entire reward points to gift cards it will be helpful to use convert all the points to gift card is worthy.

I enjoy the product overall! I like that we have real time notification and recognition from my peers and manager/supervisors. It lets us know our efforts don't go unnoticed and there are different values in rewards. I like the selection of items we can buy from the store and everything is name brand. It is also nice to have a note for what you are recognizing someone for or being recognized for. I recommend to other employers!

The only cons I have noticed are they don't have Amazon gift cards as an item to buy, which I had with another employer, but their selection of items is great! Where I work, the manager for my department has to approve all recognitions sent between peers to avoid abuse of the recognition program. I understand the concept but I could do without, it is more of an employer problem than a App or Work Human issue. Definitely still recommend to employers to consider the recognition program for their employees.

There are many things. The cash equivalent for the award is not equivalent to market value in the marketplace. For instance, I could buy a pair of iPads on Amazon for $100 but the Bravo marketplace would need at least $125 in Bravo points. Ultimately this gives employees the impressions that 1) Belden simply wanted to cut costs with recognizing employees by using a program no one would use 2) Give out points that no one would use given the discrepancy in value 3) Not have a desire to authentically reward employees.
