Kanbanize makes doing multiple types of work with 3 different workflows by one team, on one board so easy. You would need 3 boards in Jira and it is impossible! By contrast, Kanbanize is sooo easy to use, and you don’t need an IT degree to set it up. Our marketing teams use it too.

Would love to see something no other software does like multi-team prioritisation and estimated cycle time. (Oh, but they’re working on that soon to release too!)

The vast customization of the visual workflow couple and the scaling of portfolio kanban make Kanbanize incredible value for the cost. this coupled with the top notch Customer Service and Support that lives at the Lean-Agile heart of the company.

Nachteile

Most integrations are done via 3rd party software like Make or Zapier. Some would consider this a Con so I have included it here. I personally appreciate that Kanbanize chooses to remain focused on valuable features for customers over maintaining a suite of integrations that can already be done by other tools.

Kanbanize is made for Kanban. This becomes very clear when you have had to use other SW that does not really support visualization and flexibility to the extent that you would like. Kanbanize is really easy to use and you can adjust your boards so they fit the specific contexts that you are working in. Making workflows that fit your situation is very simple, just as playing with colors, working with different types of blockers and sticky notes are built in.
There are a lot of online tutorials that can help you get started and can give you answers to probably any question you may have.

Nachteile

The analytics part require that you take a deeper look into what you want to measure and how you interpret the reports. But I guess that is a 'must' anyway if you want to know the progress of your team or organization

Though Kanbanize helps in multiple project management systems, but it is very strongly related to Kanban model. It would be difficult to change the practices to the whole organisation, it would be a great help if this tool can have a bit more customisation on using along with other agile practices like Scrum / XP.

Per chi come me viene da trello si e' abituato ad avere le card con una anteprima di una delle immagini allegate. Aiuta tantissimo a focalizzarsi su una card. Consiglio di lavorare proprio sulla grafica per renderla piu' piacevole.

Does what the name promises, Kanbanize is a good system for kanbans. The UI is very clear and the overall administration does not poses particular issues. The app can be applied to different domains, from software development to marketing.

Nachteile

Connection to the Kanbanize web site is not secure, it's HTTP only, not HTTP/S and this generates a number of warnings on modern browsers. The login and application access is then in HTTP/S so there is no real security threat. Integrations is an area where the team should invest in, only Zapier and Trello are supported.

So flexible! It's the Swiss army knife of tools, the easiest I've ever seen for designing boards/workflows, very intuitive.

I like synchronizing data automatically across cards, which enables work on one card to be shared across multiple boards. I've not seen this capability on any other tool I've used.

Support is top notch also, my requests are answered quickly and in-depth.

With flexibility can come overwhelm of choices. Trying to find the right place to configure something isn't always intuitive.

We needed a tool that allows visualization of Flight Levels (by Klaus Leopold) and it really lived to our expectations. Upfront setup is minimal and even non-tech savy clients can start using basic features after few hours of training.

Well there is always room for improvement but so far I haven't found something that is annoying.

The combination of kanban board and timeline is great, option for portfolio review is available as well. Every user can use the platfrom according to his/her preferences in term of detailistion of information. Reporting can be done in very big detail as well.

Nachteile

The link between cards, deadlines and the timeline can be optimised a bit more.

The board editor allows you to create really flexible board layouts with -for example- different worklows per swimlane. High-level tickets that have (smaller) child-tickets linked to them can show progress and status of all connected children. The reports and stistics that Kanbanize can generate are top of class.

Nachteile

Just one thing: you can only see 1 assignee on the face of your Kanban-tickets. It would be nice to have the possibility to assign more people to one task.

The power of Kanbanize paired with the long list of powerful features, statistics and flexibility of the boards made it a clear winner over the competitors.

It's really easy to use and it was the best tool we could find to manage different teams. At Escale we're using Kanban with SEO, Content, Paid Media, CRO ... and everyone is able to interact with other boards. We are feeling really productive.

I'm not so happy with the portfolio views, trying to figure it out how to work with both OKRs and Initiatives.

Intuitive and easy to use if you already used any kanban tools like Trello and similars. It has metrics, which are good to verify your team's progress.

Nachteile

The design is a little bit ugly and some basic things like add subtasks on a card is a very bad experience. You cannot sign more than one responsible for a given task.

The business rules allow for automation of otherwise manually repeated tasks - there are various ways to setup such rules to achieve this.

The different levels of workflows that you can create and integrate to have a fully visible project management tool.

The functionality of creating tasks, assigning to other people and other cards is also a very useful feature.

Out of the box, the software is easy to use, and literally requires no training. You are just moving cards around. The simplicity is largely because the solution simply focuses on Kanban. So you could roll it out to your team, and have them all using it in a day. Then you would have instance access to data. Some other solutions, have so many different uses, that you spend forever in analysis-paralysis thinking through exactly how you want to customize it. If you have a dev or BI team that likes/needs data, there are plenty of options in the tool to set it up to make it sing.

The UI is a bit dated. But my understanding is that they are in the process of rolling-out an updated UI.
