Greatness!
Overall our company experience with Greenhouse has been great and we love that we can even rate applicants based on how well of a candidate they seem to be.
Vorteile
Everything about this ATS is perfect for our company! It is great with posting to job boards and tracking candidates is so easy!

Our team originally found Greenhouse while searching on Capterra (thank you everyone) and we are not disappointed! An outstanding value. We can do everything from set up, scheduling and custom automated responses. Simple to use with great tracking and reporting tools. The best feature is the automatic reminder - what an a lifesaver for interviews!
Nachteile
At first we had a small issue with email (outlook) integration but the customer support team was so helpful and fixed it within 48 hours!

Greenhouse - good from both sides
Solid software for what it is and delivers a straightforward experience.
Vorteile
Both from a recruiter and prospect point of view this software is great. It's easy to use and gives recommending prospective candidates an easy way to connect their hiring journey with a potential referral.
Nachteile
Sometimes it is easy to get lost in the features of this software with respect to things like referring a candidate. Otherwise seems problem-free in my experience

Greenhouse is the MUST have ATS
Vorteile
I love this system and we've only been using it for 3 months.
Its so easy to use and a great way to involve the whole company in the recruitment process. We used to use a simple database for housing candidates but not only does Greenhouse house candidates, it tracks candidates like no other system. Literally everything can be done through one system which reduces the need to use several browsers and tabs to set up interviews, collect feedback, etc.. I love the custom scorecards and interview plans for each role and the user interface is amazing.
The customer service is impeccable. No matter what day of the week or the time, I get an extremely helpful response within the hour - it doesn't get better than that.
Greenhouse is a MUST have ATS.
Nachteile
It can sometimes be tricky to find candidates you have rejected or after a role has been closed - you have to remember to convert them to prospects.

Best ATS I've Ever Used
Greenhouse has been instrumental in getting my company's recruiting process on track. We have a lot of young/new interviewers, so the Interview Kits have become a critical part of our process. The tool is so easy to use so adoption was pretty flawless with both our Recruiting team and Interviewers. Also, Greenhouse actually drives decision making by only giving interviewers a Yes or No option. There is no Maybe. It's awesome.
The system also makes it really easy to manage a Recruiter's heavy workload, giving every Recruiter a snapshot of where candidates are in the process. The email templates are a great timesaver. The system integrates flawlessly with Google Apps, making scheduling a breeze which is critical because we don't have any Coordinators on my team. Reporting is pretty solid and I know new features are in the works.
Lastly, Greenhouse is a great company to work with. I feel like my Account Manager, Nannan Hu, is a true partner not a "vendor". I've had the pleasure of meeting many of the Greenhouse team at the Recruiting Optimization Summit in San Francisco and everyone is incredibly, humble, kind, and absolutely passionate about their customers' success.

It's really easy to collaborate across teams and departments regarding a candidate or the pipeline as a whole. Also really easy to search for people in a specific stage of a hiring pipeline.
Nachteile
I love the ability to set up auto-posts to your Facebook and LinkedIn pages, but they aren't always easy to update or specify details.

Easy to use portal for managing job applications, interviews and hiring input
We're using it to manage job descriptions, interviews, and hiring decisions.
Vorteile
It's simple and easy to use, intuitive in the layout and information provided. It allows for customized feedback forms for each interviewer comment on the candidate and shares these forms with the hiring manager and HR team. Includes referral options. I'm not on the HR side, but it seems to have a lot of analytics and other useful tools for them as well.
Nachteile
I don't really have anything bad to say about it so far.

Easy to use software !!!
This software helped in managing the Number of candidates submitted.
Vorteile
- I have been using this software for submitting candidates to our client.
- The parsing for resume is quite fast and also do captures the required information of the candidates
- The way jobs are distributed and number of vacancy is clearly visible on the page makes the work sorted.
Nachteile
The only drawback which I feel is while using this software is you cannot see how many candidates are submitted to one particular job.

Overall I think Greenhouse is an excellent solution for applicant tracking, and I would highly suggest taking a look at Greenhouse if you are thinking about switching.

I have used Greenhouse as a way to view candidates currently in my organization's recruiting pool. It's easy to go through the candidates and see their information & resumes. Also shows the current state of the candidate in the process.
Nachteile
It could be frustrating if you don't see all information about a candidate and don't know why (the reason could be you haven't been granted permission).

What I needed
This ATS has helped me stay organized, see what I have to do next with each candidate, it makes my life easier since I don't have to be chasing interviewers to put their feedback, Greenhouse does this automatically for me.
Vorteile
I love that one can stay very organized with this product. This product was just what I needed. It is easy to use, customer service is always there to help you no matter how many times you ask the same thing, they have a great implementation program that helps you set everything up. Greenhouse has great integrations that make everything more efficient and save so much time.
Nachteile
At times it can be tricky to use some things. Once you delete something, it is gone forever and there is no way of getting it back. The calendar is also a little tricky to set up.

The go-to ATS on the market...

Unlike other applicant tracking systems, Greenhouse is built to make life easier for the primary users of the system - recruiters and interviewers. It's a software that understands the work habits of it's primary users and is designed to reduce friction in the 4 areas where recruiters and interviewers typically spend most of their time; candidate management, scheduling, feedback, and reporting.
Since Greenhouse was designed to focus on these 4 areas, it is the strength of the system. While other products may have more features, they all fail to do the basics extremely well - a place where Greenhouse separates itself from the rest of the pack. Personally, I'll take useful/functional over shiny any day of the week.

Built in reporting could be more robust although there's a new integration with Redshift and Tableau. Some of the other product integrations are a bit light weight although I think a lot of this could (or can) be addressed through the API.
The pricing structure isn't friendly for companies that are under 25 people or does not intend to grow to over 25+ in the near future. It's great for everyone else.

I like that you can track your applicants and people that you have referred. When interviewing people I think that it is a smooth process of grading candidates and leaving feedback in one consistent area.

Vorteile
The reporting functionality makes it easy to understand the current pipeline and to evaluate the effectiveness of the overall process. Additionally, Greenhouse has done a nice job of focusing on "what really matters" when it comes to building a valuable ATS...scheduling, collecting feedback, running reports, etc.
Nachteile
The product isn't as customizable as others I've worked with, and at times it would be nice to be able to make some company-specific changes. That said, the product is still fairly new and there are a lot of product additions/enhancements on the roadmap.

One of the Better ATS's out there!
I've used multiple ATS's as a recruiter and this is one of the better one's out there. It has a lot of integration functionality and a few chrome extensions to help with prospecting and data imports. The workflow of everything is pretty good as well. It's really easy to organize notes and having interview scorecards makes saving details during the interview a simple process.
Vorteile
The ease of use really makes this product stand out. The ability to flow through the different stages makes moving people through pipelines a really simple process.
Nachteile
There are a few cases where one is sorting through candidates in process and interacting with their profiles will take you out of the the sorting list making it where you have to re-search the candidates to find them again.

Wonderful tool for recruitment
Vorteile
Greenhouse is a great online platform when it comes to hiring. Our recruitment head let me use this when we were looking for more team members and I absolutely love how minimal yet detailed the entire software is. The best thing I loved using is seeing what other company members think about potential hires, which makes it a lot easier to assess candidates. Absolute must for recruiters and HR professionals.
Nachteile
Based on using it, I don't remember anything that really made the experience unpleasant so no cons for now.

A decent recruitment software
The software is decent software to hire candidates.
It maintains the database of the candidates.
It should work to develop couple of good features which will help in bulk hiring of the candidates.
Vorteile
- The private notes feature is helpful.
- The customer support is quite active.
Nachteile
- You cannot review the feedback and the personal information of the candidate once you submit the application.
- Real time updates are not visible on the agency portal.
- The status of the candidates are also not clear.

Intuitive and robust ATS that is by far leading its competitors
The three of the most important things we look for in evaluating ATS tools are
1. Good UI/UX
2. Integrations with the tools we use / customization of the platform
3. Reporting capabilities
Greenhouse delivers in all three of these area.
Greenhouse has a great user experience. It is extremely intuitive and easy to use, not just for our recruiting team but for our hiring managers and our interviewers, who get limited, if any, training.
Another thing we love about it is how organized it keeps us. It gives you all the tools you need to visualize and implement a process so it's easier to stick to one. For example, setting up a job prompts you for important information that make it easy for your interviewers to do their job and evaluate fairly and efficiently.
It's also very easy to work with agencies, integrate with partners, and use the Greenhouse API to create custom workflows for your needs. We actually automated a written exam we send out to our engineers using their API.
Through our use, the Greenhouse team has bee super responsive and knowledgeable.

Streamlines approvals and the posting of openings immensely! Very easy for all employees to add referrals.
Nachteile
Overall easy to use tool, but there are some UI experiences that could be improved. Once a candidates is posted, it's not intuitive to find and see their custom information, particularly if you've asked questions as part of a form.

It's pretty intuitive and quick for team members to get up to speed. Our recruiters are able to manage the pipeline very easily.

We rely on our employees to share available jobs so it would be nice for some additional functionality there - potentially setting schedules to share all jobs at once.

Greenhouse Review by a Sr. Recruiter
We use GH as our ATS. It is easy to use and very functional. It doesn't require a great deal of training.
Vorteile
Very easy to use- straightforward functionality. It does what I (as a recruiter) need it to do simply and easily.
Nachteile
No direct, real-time support: There have been a number of occasions when it would have been useful to speak or chat with someone to clarify a matter or answer a question, but that doesn't seem to be available.

Cheap and powerful
Vorteile
- Really awesome onboarding experience

Nachteile
- Customer service was not as fast as I would like
- The job site has a really particular structure that required a developer to customize it. I would have liked to make it more according to my company's identity without the need for technical help.

Greenhouse review
I enjoy using greenhouse to submit referrals for my company, and love how easy it is to use.
Vorteile
I love using greenhouse, because they make it super autonomous. I can send out my link, and set to track the referral and I literally don't have to do anything else, to know what part of the process my referral is in.
Nachteile
Sometimes I will send out my link, and it appears as though they don't attach to my name. Luckily we have a great HR team so it's not a big issue, but I would be upset if that was not the case.

Poor customer servioce
Very bad, I would recommend doing business with a more human company.
Vorteile
The first month of recruiting, using it.
Nachteile
The fact that we used it for one month, and that they still charge extremely high fees with their contract, not one bit of flexibility. We were 43, went down to 10, are in trouble and all they want to do is enforce their contract even if we havene been using their service at all.

Greenhouse makes interviewing and hiring easy
Overall, I find that this is an easy tool to navigate and it helps with the administrative work tremendously.
Vorteile
The software allows us to have all of the information relating to the job opening in one location - from posting to hire.
Nachteile
I would like it if the interview reminder also pointed out that there is a scorecard for use before you hold the meeting. There are scorecard questions that would help in the interview, but you are not notified about them until you are prompted about the scorecard and dig into the email and links. Make it easier to pull that out for the interviewer.
The software is also not compatible with some search sites. This should be made clear early in the vetting.
