Candidate and interview management
As an interviewer, I'm managing candidate reviews and evaluations by using Greenhouse. I have been using the software for 1 year, and I'm happy with it so far.
Vorteile
The amount of candidate management features is quite satisfying. Integration with social media channels is working well. I can easily fill scorecards and evaluate candidates by using Greenhouse.
Nachteile
The UI is a little bit complicated. Sometimes I'm getting lost when I try to find someone I have interviewed a while ago.

Clean Platform and Straight Forward
Vorteile
I used this software while interviewing with new jobs. I found that most companies are using Greenhouse to schedule their interviews. From my side (interviewee), I found it great to have several time slot options available to choose from when it came to marking your availability.
Nachteile
There were not too many things that I did not like about using this software honestly. I think from the user-end it is pretty easy to use for anyone.

Greenhouse
Overall, Greenhouse is a great way to track applicants and different hiring managers can comment on the candidates profile making it easier to make a decision. Greenhouse is a great ATS, but I wish there were more instructions on how to fully take advantage of the features available.
Vorteile
What I like most about Greenhouse is that you can send candidates emails though Greenhouse instead of through your actual email.
Nachteile
What I like least about it is that there aren't any instructional videos. For example, I see that there is a reporting option, but don't know how to use that feature. It'd be great if there were instructional videos on the reporting page to show you how to use the feature.

Intuitive and Useful
Very useful and convenient for applicant tracking!
Vorteile
Being able to view applicant resumes, interview notes from you and other interviewers, and all completed scorecards in one place.
Nachteile
Reminders to complete scorecards were sent immediately at the end of the interview before even allowing a chance to submit them in a timely manner.

Vorteile
I was introduced with greenhouse by one of my friends, his company was using the greenhouse for complete hiring, onboarding, and resource planning process. It was a neat and clean design with plenty of attracting features, like user profile, complete team details, link to your colleagues and their
bio there details very similar to workday but with a much better user interface.

For the referrals feature, you are not able to track a referral if multiple people have referred the same person!

Easy to use, Useful, Wholistic
Vorteile
As someone who used Greenhouse as a team member hiring another employee, I liked how easy it was to fill out the interview review and see other peoples reviews and gather information in one place
Nachteile
It was a little difficult to get back to the interviewee review page. I found myself searching around for it and would have to go back to my email and reclick to link to find the page I wanted to write my interview review.

One of my favorite ATS
I came across GH in early 2016 and immediately took to it. The UI was easy to understand. This includes all of the tabs, work flow pages all the way down to the color schemes and little thumbs up and thumbs down for feedback icons. One of the most useful resources is the candidate filtering/ tagging feature that allows recruiters to quickly view pipeline not only in the context of candidate profile but also steps in the process. I don't think I have been able to pick up an ATS so quickly and efficiently. I have used all sorts of platforms for recruiting from home grown systems to 3rd party apps and GH has been the best I have used by far. My last job had migrated from GH to iCIMS and it was a complete disaster which is one of the main reasons I left.
So keep up the good work!

Super easy to use, could be too pricey for some
Vorteile
Greenhouse is a beautiful system. Most line managers have been able to log on and get started without any training from me or GH. If you are even the slightest bit savvy with social media, then you'll be able to get up and running with this software quickly. I love the fact you can connect with Facebook, Twitter, etc. and easily email from the system. The reporting tools within GH are really impressive. There are tons of stats just a couple of clicks away!
Nachteile
The price is what I like the least. I did demos for 5 systems. This was the priciest by far, and they increase the price yearly. However, you don't need to worry about how many line managers have log in info as it's just a flat fee. I can see how with other systems, where you pay per head, the price would start to get up there quickly.

Great Recruiting Software
Overall my experience has been great with Greenhouse.
Vorteile
Extremely easy to use. As someone who is not in recruiting this product makes it a very simple process.
Nachteile
I found it a little more difficult to find my past interviews when reviewing candidates. The only negative I have.

Useful but better training tools needed

Not easy to go from seeing the resume and back to the dashboard.

Best recruiting tool I've used!
This tool has changed the way we do recruitment! It is streamlined, easy to follow, comes with training materials ready to go, and has allowed our HR department to give more autonomy to departments in their recruitment processes. Overall, I would recommend this tool to anyone looking to get professional!

Work flow and documentation are easy to follow up when recruiting with a hiring panel. Great customer service - online chat available. multiple job boards can be created, you can have as much or as little control over how the job board appears on your company website,
Nachteile
Some issues with French functionality for job board. Mobile doesn't allow application review.

Really modern, easy to use ATS

This is a very popular ATS system at startup companies. It is a lot more modern than previous systems I have used. It's easy to use. The user interface is very friendly.
Nachteile
Not really clear to me where you easily leave notes and look back on them. I don't totally understand the scorecard and prefer not to use it. It took me some time to understand how to use the features.

Simply the best
Vorteile
We've had nothing but positive experiences with Greenhouse.
It's simply the most intuitive and powerful ATS (and then some) out there. The product is built so intuitively, and it feels like every time we think of something we'd want to do on Greenhouse, the feature is already built and built better than we had been thinking.
Their support documentation is some of the best I've ever seen and if we can't find a solution to a particular issue, their live chat representatives are incredibly helpful and responsive.
There's no doubt on our team that for ease of use, power, scale and customer service, Greenhouse is simply the best.
Nachteile
You'll definitely pay for the service as it definitely doesn't come cheap. In our benchmarking, Greenhouse was definitely one the most expensive options out there. So if you're a cash-strapped organization or you're one that isn't significantly scaling hiring efforts, then you might be able to find more affordable solutions.

Recruiting = 1 million times easier
Vorteile
I didn't believe it when I heard another company talk about how Greenhouse changed their lives. How could something "literally" make your process a million times easier? Well, they weren't wrong. I got our entire startup's portal up in 2 weeks through fantastic customer support, and the interface has tremendous depth to it, yet is intuitive to use. Couldn't be happier with our selection and we now have the infrastructure in place to double our headcount annually for the next 36 months and beyond.
Nachteile
As with any product, not every feature is integrated as I would hope. However, anytime I mention an issue, it is immediately passed along to their product development team and I have confidence that they are constantly addressing and integrating customer concerns.

Vorteile
The software has so many capabilities that it can really be molded for use in any industry. If I have a want or an item on my wishlist, our account manager can usually find a way in the system to make it happen for us, and fit our needs. Greenhouse has really proven to be effective in each of the different areas of our business.
Nachteile
There are so many features and permission levels for users that it can be confusing. I have had to have a few refreshers with the team to remind them how to do things in the system.

This software makes it very easy to coordinate / collect feedback from interviews on multiple candidates across multiple interviewers. Especially during the WFH days, it's very useful for seamless communication during a hiring process.

There's not much I don't like about this sofware; maybe it could do a better job of being able to send calendar invites to those outside of the software when scheduling interviews.

Great
When you receive a bonus for referring people it's important to make sure that your name is linked with their application so that you receive the credit. With Greenhouse this is automatic and you don't have to manually pair applicants with employees, you just already know who referred who.
Vorteile
I think it's great to be able to send a link to people and have a link you can send people to use to apply! I have sent it to several potential applications and it has worked great for them! I think it's great to have a way to link their application to me if they get hired because not everyone remembers to mention who referred them.
Nachteile
I had some trouble when first creating my account, but ever since it's been smooth sailing! I don't use it every day, but when I need to use it I find it easy to use.

the chat support is terrible. I want to be able to talk to someone. Filtering jobs isn't always easy. Need more advanced search features. REPORTING is also not that great. Greenhouse has really become the best in the industry for tracking candidates. I love the simplicity of the application that employees use. I feel like it encourages a ton of candidates to apply.

Great software, excellent customer service.
Vorteile
We just started using Greenhouse to help manage our exponential employee growth. The software was easy to implement and the support we received from our account manager was outstanding. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and helped us customize the software to a point where it makes it so much easier to schedule interviews, review candidates/get feedback, and send automated messages when we receive resumes or choose not to move forward with a candidate. We're quite pleased at this point and are excited to continue integrating the software into our recruiting efforts.
Nachteile
Not much. It'd be nice to see resumes when clicking into a candidate rather than having to click details, just to reduce clicks, but that's being picky.

A Critical Resource for Any Company Looking to Recruit Talent
Over the years, I've used a number of ATS products. They've all let me down. When I took over recruiting for Thumbtack, I decided to research new recruiting tools and came across Greenhouse. Greenhouse just works - it's super intuitive and works like it was created by a recruiter. I no longer have to have a million spreadsheets and Google docs all over the place as I can keep track of all my candidates through Greenhouse. My recruiting team, hiring manager, and interviews also like using it. So often I hear that the other parts of a business refuse to use its ATS, so recruiters have to manually enter much of the candidate data back into the system. In addition providing a great product, the Greenhouse team is super responsive. I've pinged them numerous times with questions and requests, and they've always gotten back to me in a timely manner. Solid product with a solid team behind it to help you along the way.

Easy applicant screening
Vorteile
Easy to go through a list of applicants and filter them out. For the applicants that made it to the next round, a scorecard during/immediately after the interview made it easy to continue the filtering .
Nachteile
There wasn't much not to like. I was only part of the screening and interviewing process and it worked fantastic for that.

An Easy App to Keep A Million Schedules Organized

It was so easy to use. Very quick from a user standpoint to arrange a meeting. From the meeting-arranger standpoint, everything syncs perfectly to different calendars.
Nachteile
It is a no frills software. If you are looking for something highly aesthetically pleasing, this won't appeal to you but it gets the job done.

It's easy, it scales, and keeps my hiring teams organized. What more could you want? Support is super helpful and onboarding couldn't be easier.

The price is a little steep but it's well worth it.

Great software!
We've been using Greenhouse in our office for almost 6 months now. Getting started and acclimated to the software was simple. It was straight forward and pretty easy to use. By using Greenhouse we've been able to keep all of our recruiting information organized in such a way that not only we can benefit from, but our candidates as well. I love knowing the timeline of our process, which Greenhouse makes clear and keeps track of for us. I would definitely recommend this software.
Vorteile
The organization! I love that I can see how long a candidate has been in a particular stage and getting alerts when they've been in a stage for a certain number of days. This keeps candidates fresh in our minds and helps us remember to reach out to them so they aren't left in the process. I think it's great that I can click on a candidates name and have access to their personal websites as well as their résumé.
Nachteile
I currently can't think of anything that's a con in Greenhouse.

So Intuitive!
Vorteile
Our company moved from a total manual recruiting workflow (stacks of folders on the floor, Excel spreadsheets, resumes on various hard drives, candidate notes in different files) to Greenhouse's sophisticated software. No longer do I have to look in 4-5 different spots to find complete information for one candidate; the time savings is phenomenal.
Now I work daily with a system that is easy to configure, flexible & adaptable to our style of recruiting, has all candidate information in one spot and with features that optimize our process.
Greenhouse's customer service is excellent. My account manager is very responsive to my questions and issues; feedback is prompt and on target.

Nachteile
I would like to see the file that contains the key words to identify the candidate's certification and experiences (Tags) sorted in alphabetical order.

Great product overall
Overall, I had a positive experience with Greenhouse. I would recommend it for small to medium sized companies.
Vorteile
I used Greenhouse for job posting, applicant tracking, resume storage, and the overall recruitment management. I like this software because of the ease of use, and that overall it has everything a recruiter would need.
Nachteile
The functions I find the least built out are the reporting / searching features. However, I believe these have gotten better since I used the tool.
