This software works well with iPad but has a few downfalls

It was fast and reliable but printer was its downfall

Vorteile

Very easy to use and very user friendly. The overall quality of the image and software design looks much better than Proxyclick's App.

Nachteile

The printer application does not allow me to use an Airprinter for this app on my iPad and having a wireless connection was a must for me.

Easy to use and obtain alerts when guests have arrived.

Vorteile

The ability to upload guests lists from Excel spreadsheets. It creates a much smoother process when a lot of guests are expected

Nachteile

It would have to be not being able to view more than one day at a time. Having the ability to view invites a week at a time would be beneficial.

Using Envoy

Vorteile

As it is something new for everyone it is a little confusing but as you go using it you will get the trick and find it is super easy to use, to me personally being TechOps it helps me a lot with the deliverys because I use the app to send emails to TWers directly by just scanning the package without having to contact them or send tickets, this is what I liked the most, it makes the work less tedious and faster.

Nachteile

The fact of having to do Check-in and then Sign it's not that I don't like it but its a little confusing because people think that by checking in there is nothing more to do and they forget about the Sign in so we have to be reminding them.

The Envoy System is absolutely the best sign in system we have used.

It allows us to monitor our visitors better enabling us to look and retain data about our visitors. It was easy to set up use.

Vorteile

It was very easy to set up. There are no extra fees involved, only what you choose to purchase. We searched for a couple of months for a sign in system that would be compatible to our needs and finally found Envoy. It has exceeded our expectations.

Nachteile

I would like to be able to remove the host field on the sign in screen. Other than that the system does everything we need it to do. Thank You

an easy way to register guests

We hear people who come into our space and almost all who have never seen it say "oh, how neat" when I explain they just need to sign in and their party will be automatically notified.

Takes away a headache

Vorteile

Super easy to use. Fills a needed gap. Convenient for users and admins alike.

Nachteile

Limited to just visitors and guests. The software itself, and the ipad integration, seems as though it could be used for a number of other things. Maybe Envoy will expand their product offerings in the future.

Setting up the system is so easy.

easy, clean and on brand

Vorteile

The ease of use and how the app is so cleanly integrated w the desktop function. I like that it is in an excel format as well so I can very easily add visitors on a weekly basis, seamlessly.

Nachteile

I use the free service and in an ideal world, of course, I would not have to pay up for the pro account for as much as it costs. I want to eventually have terms and services integrated to our account but given our size/current revenue, it doesn't make sense to pay up yet.

Excellent Visitor Registration System

Easy to order and easy to setup; excellent product support when we had any questions and they listened to our suggestions for additional features.

Vorteile

Easy to understand how it works and the statistics it keeps. Great integration with the Envoy App for ease of registration by repeat visitors.

Nachteile

Lack of interface with PowerSchool to automatically transfer student and staff logout/login information, to integrate with absentees data to keep track of students and staff who temporarily leave campus.

Very Pleased Overall

Five star with a 1.2.3 simplicity

We have been old school - guest book at the lobby. This will now make it more confidential and not expose who has been in the office, notification to host goes out automatically, have data to reference to as needed.

Very clean and professional - love it!

Our employees love Envoy!

Envoy allows us to keep track of who is visiting our offices and works particularly well for the social events and tech meet ups that we host in our offices.

Vorteile

The interface design and user experience is by far the best on the market. All of the core functionality is exactly what we require and there are new features being added all the time.

Nachteile

Our management team had negative feedback about the monthly cost and this was very nearly the reason why we didn't proceed with signing on.

Perfect addition to showcase our security protocol for our office

The process of keeping up with who is in the building at any given time has made my job easier. How long they are here and who they are here to see.

The system is set up for ease of use and accountability. No one likes change , but after the first initial use it runs smooth and I think will be an asset for the company.

Customers complain at first use of this product. But it seems to get easier for them each time after the initial use after they have been walked through it.

Most easy to use of all I tested

We had no real procedure for on-site visitors if an incident arose such as an evacuation, now we know exactly who is on site.

Vorteile

Very quick and easy to set-up. Good customisation options including Welcome screen, Signed-in screen, logo and i could also add remove questions. I receive an email when a visitor arrives and also a text message using the optional passport app!

Nachteile

Only works with i-pad which meant we had to buy one.

We were looking for a low cost and innovative option to register our guests. Found it!!

It has streamlined our registration process and it brings a level of professionalism to our events that is truly amazing.

Vorteile

It is intuitive and extremely user friendly. I was able to learn the process quickly which in turn, made it easier for me to teach it to my group. I love how multiple devices can synchronize, and the email alerts when a guest is checked in really brings it to a whole other level.

Nachteile

I would like to see the registration capabilities available not just on on iPad but also for iPhone, and I can't believe I'm saying this, even for Android. This will help to make the use of the platform more universal and for the rare occasions when we may have our iPads unavailable or with low battery, that we could use our phones (yes, even Androids) as back-ups.

Thank you, Envoy!

Envoy efficiently logs names, companies and times of visitors and automatically registers the in and out times (no more looking for clocks, or pulling out phones to check the time!) The automatic notification to hosts saves the Receptionist from calling, emailing or texting when guests arrive.

Vorteile

Very simple and easy to use, accurately keeps records of visitors.

Nachteile

When the screen is in landscape orientation, user has to scroll up to see next field

Envoy solves my reception area woes

Docker's been using Envoy for nearly a year now and I can't tell you how many stressful moments and hundreds miles of running around the office their system has spared me.

I've yet to find a badge printer that I love, but everything else - the Envoy app, the admin interface, and the customer support - has been nothing short of a spectacular.

I'm a huge fan and I encourage any curious office administrator/receptionist to give it a try! I'm confident that you'll be glad you did.

We just got the system a little over a month ago and it's been working great!

Easily see whos in the building and number of visitors we have coming to the office.

Vorteile

Easily review who's in the building and because its simpler for people to sign in they are doing so quickly and freeing up the receptionist for other tasks.

Nachteile

Not sure I can think of any. We haven't ran across any problems, so far! But if we do they are super responsive on the 'Online Chat' feature to help us!

Great visitor management tool

I love Envoy - it's easy to use and it's very reliable. You don't need to ask your guest to ping you when they arrive, but instead, you are automatically notified when they arrive so you can pick them up then. Less room for miscommunication and time wasted!

- Upon signing in, Envoy automatically notifies you about your guests' arrival very quickly
- Great integration with Slack
- Includes a photo capture function which is a good security feature

Using Envoy as a visitor management system allows us to expand our guest sign-in process.

Vorteile

I love the Cisco ISE integration as it really improves upon our guest wireless experience for visitors. We used to have numerous issues with guest trying to create a wireless account manually and not understanding what they have to do.

Now, they automatically receive an SMS/email for their wireless credentials. All they need to do is simply walk to the meeting room and connect directly to our guest wireless with the wireless info in the SMS/email.

Nachteile

Not having the ability add logic to the sign-in form. We would like to add in logic branching into the sign-in form to make it cleaner without having a bunch of optional fields for the visitors to see. Chances are, if the fields are optional, the visitors won't fill it out.

The most consistent, dependable and innovative software we use.

Envoy has gotten our organization more cool points than we could have ever imagined. Every day our guests tell us how "high tech" and amazing our checkin system is. It sets an instant tone for visitors that our facility is cool, advanced and professional. I can't remember what life was like before Envoy. It's that integral to our everyday business.

If there are any cons, it's not worth noting them here. A single email to Envoy's customer service team will put you in touch with people who honestly want the feedback and make amazingly fast updates to improve the software. It's constantly improving, constantly evolving. I want the Envoy team to make all of my software. If only!

Basic Visitor Check-in Software

Ultimately Envoy wasn't a product that was worth the annual membership cost

Simplified, and efficient

Vorteile

My favorite feature is the notification feature. Once it is set up (very simple to do), the software notifies the person being visited via text and email.

Nachteile

I do not like that there is not a way to set up an auto-check out. It would be very helpful, if personnel that did not check out were auto-checked out at a time of my choosing.

Look more tech savvy!

Got rid or our outdated log in book. We look more organized and tech savvy.

Vorteile

Our vendors and VIP's are always impressed when I ask them to check in via the iPad. Being able to get rid our log book is great. It made us look stone age.

Nachteile

I have only been working with the software for 3 months and at this time I really don't have any cons.

easy to use

I am an executive admin and I use this tool to communicate with our front desk receptionist on incoming deliveries and outside guests to meet with executives. I love how it notifies me when my guest has arrived and it saves us a lot of time getting them registered as a visitor.

Vorteile

Very easy to use and it helps keep me organized for sure!

Nachteile

Haven't ran into any "cons" yet. So far so good!

A winning product!

We love Envoy!!! Visitors quickly and easily log in and a photo badge is printed. It allows better tracking of visitors, documents the purposes and length of visits, and provides great reports on the data. Envoy's value is well past the simply daily logs needs too. It proves a valuable resource for security reasons and for any emergency that might arise we know who is on campus. The reports can be easily cross-references to other data sources for tracking volunteers for TB tests, fingerprint needs, ...and the list goes on and on!

We've only had it a few months and have seen Envoy keep improving even. GREAT company, great product. We love it!

The software i didn't realize I needed

We recently implemented a new RFID-based ID and security system in our small university campus, and it came with a visitor management module. So we thought we didn't need Envoy. But a quick run-through of the features, and a two week trial (during which we did lots of demos to different sets of stakeholders) convinced us to get on board, even though it seemed like a redundant system. It's a lot easier to use, delivers a more pleasant and professional experience for our 2,000 monthly visitors, and the SMS notification feature (500+ full-time and part-time staff on campus) alone is worth the Premium plan. Customer support has been really great so far.

Amazing App and great team!

I used Envoy at my previous company and when I moved companies, I knew we needed to implement Envoy. The process of purchasing to full set up was very quick and easy. The registration process for guests is streamlined because guests are able to sign in, take their picture, sign the NDA and grab their badge. We also customized our badge to include the guest wifi password so the guest has everything they need to get online. The integrations with slack save us a lot of time since our front desk doesn't need to track down their host. The host gets a ping through the slack integration once they finished checking in. The Team at Envoy is amazing as well!

Have had nothing but good experience with this visitor system

Vorteile

Very easy to use. Can adjust it to meet needs for information on visitors. Easy to teach others to use. can use on computer tables or phone.

Nachteile

non that I have found yet. Have had no issues with the system and love using it. Like everything about it and have recieved no complaints from visitors in its use.

Overall easy to use

Vorteile

Fast updates when initially adding guests. Like how easy it is to get guests into the system for those who need to know (ie: receptionist, lobby security guard, actual guest, etc.)

Nachteile

UI for adding e-mails could be a little better. Sometimes feels like there is a lot of back and forth clicking.

Check in

It's a good application that gets the job done. Nothing to fancy, it just works.

Vorteile

Very Good basic checkin system. You don't need the bells and whistles for something like this and this product delivers.

Nachteile

The Envoy passport app needs to update the screen resolution for the bigger iPads. Another thing I've noticed is that, if you are signing into multiple iPads with the same credentials, the app would say that the account is being used. But if you exit out of it and go back into the app, it works fine.

So easy to use with such a big goal

It's packed with great challenges and fun facts to help you get to know yourself and better your understanding of how to create a better company and a better you. It's very fun and easy to use and the rewards/incentives are great!
