Vorteile
For any new hotel, Hotelogix it a good way to start, especially small size business. Very easy to use and the suport team is very responsive and available.
Nachteile
It should be more modern and it can be good for it to have the email integration option, more options on invoice samples to fits best customers need.
Also, as hotel CRM it's very important, with Hotelogix it's still tricky to track guests profile in order to have a good database and to be able to back it up or restore.

Good featured PMS, but issues
I researched 100's of PMS systems and decided on Hotelogix. I was very impressed with the Breadth of functionality, front-end ease of use, and price. It seemed easy to setup and the support team helped out. However, now that we have been using the system for about 9 months, I've found several things that are concerning:
- rate management is very complex, difficult to setup and not flexible enough. I gave up creating rates and let Hotelogix make all our changes.
- quirky behavior
- no ability to do waitlist, gift cards, SMS
- no report writing capability (canned reports only)
- no in-house guest list
- not keeping up with changes in the industry. They focus on minutae and not on the big picture.
- their web booking engine is confusing to guests about availability and does not show off extras/add-ons/inclusions. We're losing incremental revenue from not being able to highlight add-ons.
- executives have been rude and don't respond to emails.

· You can access the in-house guest list under the `Room Operations¿ tab on the front desk panel.
· We are working towards a more user friendly Web Booking Engine. Although, the add ons/ inclusions are already available.

Wonderful piece of software, created by a service driven team
A very competitive pricing for such a dynamic platform.

The software platform is very dynamic. The team keeps upgrading and adding important features you sometimes know and sometimes are unaware that you need them. look and feel is great and the functions work as expected.

Need to add features
Hotelogix is one of the first hospitality software on the cloud. Over the last two years, I have been using this software I find that the company needs to add newest features & functionalities to its software to make it relevant in today's world. A hotel management software of PMS as its popularly known is essential for modern hotels to help it sell more rooms & improve occupancy. The PMS is a distribution platform which connects with major third party vendors like otas. Hotelogix does not provide direct distribution functionality and asks to tie up with an intermediary to sync rates & inventory with OTA's, etc. This increases the overall cost of ownership and is not required. Many newer entrants in this sector are providing direct connectivity. For smaller hotels, this is a very important reason to choose a PMS.

Excellent support by the team,
As in Hotel industry. now we have stopped the food bills to attach with the room main invoice.
PMS connected with the Chennal Mgr so don't nee to check all OTAs reservation every time.

Very misleading!
I really wanted to give these people a good rating but honestly dealing with them has been a pain! Initially focus was on getting us to make a decision and pay, afterwards we had good cooperation until they found out our product is different vs. most hotels they work with. We've been [patient but sadly with 3 months in we find out out # 1 objective cannot be met!! How are we to run the business without that feature which was promised overtly through the sales cycle and follow up emails?

Our value proposition was threefold; 1) managing future standalone activities (meals, massages, transfers) and the like for non guests. 2) to drive more direct bookings 3) manage in property consumption on one system via POS. Items 2 is on and going well while item 3 is still to be completed. Item 1 which was our primary motivation just not going anywhere.
Nachteile
One main need we have was ability to book standalone group activities such as shower on the go, meals, massages, transfers etc for clients who are not staying in the hotel. The promised solution was "Activity POS" which is great except it cannot capture the correct date for said activity. It is very weird the way we are able to book activities for a future date but the confirmation can never read the future date. Likewise, there is NO WAY to see and anticipate the activity for weekly and monthly planning. It is completely useless!

Partially good
There are 2 or 3 things which worked very well for us. We are unable to make the most of the product due to lack of support from the Account Manager assigned

Online support works quick. But the Account Manager was slow and sometimes doesn’t respond.
Our Accounting software is still not integrated due no respond from the Account Manager.

A solid PMS for small and midsize properties
Hotelogix streamline online sales with success and reservation are getting very easy. support are reactive when needed.
Vorteile
Its a complete PMS with a very user friendly reservation management screen, housekeeping module, POS module, booking engine and channel manager connexion.
the software is well adapted for properties from 10 to 100 rooms that are selling in multiple channels: online, walkings, travel agencies offline...
the mobile app is also very usefull for camps
Nachteile
some modules are very rich and need sometime to adapt but a half day training is sufficient in most cases

All in one package of the most user friendly Property Management Software
My overall experience with Hotelogix is good, I have tried several Property Management Softwares, and we pick the right one.
Vorteile
The learning curve for training for the new staff is easy, user friendly, and the software has complete package of POS and PMS system. The support team are reachable, and very helpful.

There is nothing to complain about this software.

Beware!!! A trap on the way...
Be really carefully to subscribe it. Try it a lot and make sure it will fit good in your business before buy it.
After this really bad experience I did a big research and I found many pms that works so much better and so easy to use.
They need a improve a lot.

Horrible experience as the sales make me a big pressure to buy the product, I fortunelly didn’t agree with the anual subscription and he said it could be per month afterwords.
After payed two months I just figure out it really does not fit in my business and after a big learning curve. After that I decide to quit but in the small words in the contract it says that I must pay 30 days more. I let them know about my bad experience and ask to not pay the third month without sucess.
No way to deal with invoices. No options to manage different way of payment ( like splitting in 2 ou 3 times.) and finally nit friendly interface. Good for nerds!

Chat records indicate our sales team shared details when asked for. Since we were asked about 50% off promotion (it was only on our annual plan), our team gave details with validity. Consent was taken before sharing a payment link. There is no fine print in our sales contract that has 30-day notice period. When you let our team know you¿re not a hotel professional, have 4 rooms & are not really organized, our team supported with every piece of information requested ¿ from how our system allows login from any device to clarity on features like stock management, POS, channel connectivity & financial control. We offered 4-session training, an Account Manager & Customer Service Manager for further assistance. Our system manages types of invoices/payments & we enhance our system with features customers request for. It¿s unfortunate you found the system difficult to use & decided to discontinue in a month of purchase.Had you invested more time, we¿re sure it would¿ve helped your business

Don’t trust them
If they can scam a business partner how about a customer. I’ve even stop using it for weeks now . Ezee absolute is better

Hotelogix don’t pay their business partners. They’ll lie to your face promising percentage as reseller and 3 months now no news from them. Even email they don’t respond . My client paid one year directly but I don’t even know who I’m working with.
Nachteile
Hotelogix scam their business partners . If you consider being a reseller don’t work with them. Waste of time and energy.

Hotelogix has faulty accounting practices
We signed up with hotelogix in good faith. As time went on it we had to add this service or that. We are a very small company. We paid every invoice as it was sent to us. Seven months in they hit us with thousand dollars of back invoicing for their accounting mistakes. They would not let us space out or break up these charges with out shutting down our services. We paid them though we were in our first year as a small business. We started looking for a new booking engine and integrated with little hotelier in Sept. We alerted hotelogix that we would no longer be using their services. They charged us through automatic withdrawal from our account 2 days prior to invoicing was due for the month of Oct when we were ending services on Sept 30. No contract was ever signed. They are refusing to refund charges by saying there is a 30 day cancellation notice for services. This is not stated in any paper work or email I received from them, it has never been stated on any invoice sent from their company. It's really not the money. I have no issue with paying my bills it's the dishonesty. Back charging for mistakes by their accounting department, refusing to work with a small business in their first year of business, withdrawing funds day early from bank accounts, refusing to refund monies for services not delivered. Scumbag business practices.

It is unfortunate to know your disappointment with our accounting system.
Your Hotel was signed up initially on zero plan from May 23, 2014 @ $80/month for the services of PMS, WEB service & Payment Gateway. You have then opted for enterprise plan with advance billing in the month of Dec'14 with an additional charge of $65/month. However, the billing was missed and the charge was not added to your billing which was clarified to you up front. This is an unintentional human error and the bills were later presented to you with a differential amount of $450.24 which you have agreed to pay. The billing was then corrected and the amount was auto charged by the system.
As you are on advance billing plan, the bills for Oct were generated in the mid-month and sent to you on Sept 16th. As the billing due date is 10 days from the date of generated invoice it has auto charged on 24th Sept, 2015 after which we have received your cancellation.
We deeply apologize for your experience.

An Amazing Experience!

There were a few glitches this year but it has been resolved.

An all rounder App
The 10/10 Support we get from them when encountering with any issue, they go the extra mile to make sure everything works fine for you and your Hotel.
Vorteile
I like the capability of doing all there is to management of a hotel and its restaurant making it easy to follow up with everything in one place.
Its able to merge with channel managers which make room availability and reservations automated with all OTAs
The ability to integrate the app with your bank making it possible to charge a card at the Point of Sale is also a grate advantage the app.
Nachteile
Nothing negative that i can think of right now.

Great product if you use all the features!
Very positive and I can highly recommend it.
Vorteile
There are many features here that actually help to drive revenue and there is an extensive range of useful features which minimize the effort needed to manage bookings etc and this helps us focus on the most important tasks which is actually delivered a great service to our guests!
Nachteile
Learning how to use the system is not as simple as other PMS' I have used before but I think the features it offers makes up for the learning curve.

Hotelogix is helpful.
Everyday I use this software, it is friendly and efficiently, I like it very much.
Vorteile
This software allow me have more time to do other things of inn management, otherwise I have to focus on different book platform at same time to avoid overbook.
Nachteile
Everything is perfect for now. Just one small part is our inn is too small to it, the software can handle a grand hotel.

Very Helpful

General feedback
It is good user friendly PMS system that is compatible with Channel manager and only wish there was a training schema that can be given to new team members who join the team and they can use and learn and it will not have any impact on the live operations.
Vorteile
The system is easy to use and navigate through as well, layout is user friendly where you have all links to the most of the search fields on the front page, like check in list, check out list, reservation list etc.
Nachteile
When you have a same day cancellation the system should not show it as No Show, as it changes the study down the line when you check on the history for that month, also you need to manually changes the dates for future 400 days when you work on TWI with any Channel Manager so that the rates and inventory will flow.

Our overall recommendation is that after using Hotelogix for over 3 years, we strongly suggest any hotel, B&B or similar lodging establishment trial run Hotelogix before finalizing any selection process. We have benefited from it's ease of use, cut expensive and often obsolete equipment to store data/maintenance, and from our experience know that Hotelogix is a reliable partner for our business. We trust future users will enjoy the product/service/support we have over the last 3 years.

Our company selected Hotelogix for the following reasons: it's ease of use, it's stability, a very rich and functional feature set, links to OTA's, and a very strong and effective customer support base. This support proved to be very effective and helpful! The benefit's of it's pricing simply added to the already impressive set of gains we received utilizing the product. As user's of the system, we can write a glowing review, but to be fair and transparent, any company seeking a PMS system that will meet all their requirements, we strongly advise prospective customers give this product a trial run. We tested approximately 6-8 PMS products, and found only one which offered similar features and strengths, but not the matching cost benefits. As users since August 2009, we have had solid support, strong feature updates, and as the product grows, we are certain that in deciding to use Hotelogix, we made the correct decision, and we've proven it over 3 years of easy, reliable use.
Nachteile
A few negatives we experienced were during the development phase of the product, very early on. As the product matured and bugs were eliminated, we cannot find fault in the product or it's support service.

one issue is that we have multiple hotels but hotologix unable to setup Group login for admin. I connected with them, but they said if group login made then invoice would be generated for any 1 hotel out of all that is not fair. looking forward for this improvement.

Changing you core PMS system is never easy as every member of staff is affected!
We installed Hotelogix about 6 months ago as part of an overall move to cloud based applications. We had been running a system called AvonData for the past five years. Our criteria included support of traditional PMS functions, an integrated web booking engine, channel manager, EPOS and function room booking capability. In addition we wonted a system that seamlessly integrate with other cloud based solutions such as Xero, accounting along with a willingness to interface with revenue management solutions such as PriceMatch and review management systems such as ReviewPro.
Support particularly out of normal working hours together with a good issue tracking and account management approach were also important.
Cost was a consideration but not our number one priority, we felt that feature/function match, customer support and being part of a large growing company were equally important.
Installing a new core system is never easy as it affects your whole business and virtually all members of staff, we made some mistakes such as not fully mapping our requirements and not spending time getting staff 'buy in' six months down the line we are fully live on all modules and starting to reap the benefits of our decision.
I like hearing my phone 'ping' with new accommodation bookings seven days a week, twenty four hours a day with no operator intervention. Managing our room stock from a single Global rate System helps me keep on top of the revenue management side of the business, integration with Xero is also a big plus point.
We have notice that the system is very functionally rich and although we are only a small country house hotel (18 rooms, function rooms, restaurant) we have some special practices which the system can accommodate.
Overall I think the system has some excellent feature/functions supporting our needs now and more importantly in the future. Its cost effective to use,we pay a low monthly fee, and their customer service is becoming more and more responsive.

Easy to use and good customer service

The software is very easy to learn and understand, it simplifies the tasks that before, I had to use manual methods which were time consuming.

Overall, it has been a good experience so far. The team is always available, when needed.

Nachteile
Inability to print notes added to the reservations. they can only be seen on the desktop.
The inability to make changes to one room in a group/block without the changes affecting the other units in the block.

It makes our day to day bookings easy to use. It's also helpful to be able to look as the whole set up and see stats.

One thing I dislike is trying to find out how things are programed. Maybe videos on how to work the system would be helpful for some.

Errors and glitches sometimes causes disasters. Example change in rates without changing them. This leads to wrong information across the platform

Excellent. Life has become easier for the management, staff and guests alike.

Ease of use and never a downtime. Fast cloud based. Personalized customer support although you hardly need it.

Nothing. We have been using it for all our properties for the last 6 years.

Excellent software for our Hotel.
Time saving, easy to use, can use online from anywhere, pricing accuracy, excellent technology.
Vorteile
Hotelogix is best software because;
1. There is no chance of having multiple bookings; it is integrated with online agencies as like booking.com. Expedia.com and other.
2. Another best feature is setting price, we are able to set our price for all online agencies, and it converts into our local currency according to banking exchange rate.
3. Night Audit also another excellent feature, after we finish our night audit we can't change price for the second time which is safe and stops financial leakage.
4. We can use this software from anywhere which is very convenient to book rooms from home or during travel.
5. There are other many features which makes things much easy.
Nachteile
Nothing really, but we need more regular training so that we can use maximum features and get more benefit from it. There are many topics in 'Administrator Console' that we have not used fully.

Like The Software & Love The Support
Hotelogix has made it easy to integrate many platforms into one location. Their chat support and our personal rep have always been very supportive and helpful with any questions we have.
Vorteile
Once you get the hang of Hotelogix software, it's relatively easy to use. I like that it integrates multiple online travel agencies into one.
Nachteile
A missing feature is a manual for troubleshooting. If I ever have any issue, I have to reach out to support because there isn't a quick reference guide.

It just very simple and easy to handle.
Our hotel chain company was fully depended on this and helped us a lot understand flow and process of entire software and now we are able to build our own CRS.

1. UI is simple
2. Easy to understand
3. HX support very responsive when it comes to customization or addition of extra feature.
4. Customization option are very effective and easy control .
Nachteile
1. Room blocking audit trial can be improved.
2. Temp block option can be also improve as in if by mistake we don,t select timing for temp bock it just disappear. (In this situation it can be used as 30 sec block).

Very competent customer service per live chat is a highlight

We are a 20 - rooms property and have nothing but a great experience with Hotelogix - especially their customer service is a highlight: email or even live-chat!! To each of my questions, the answer is never too far and the team communicates very closely also with my Channel Manager in order to resolve all problems. The software itself is able to picture the reality of the hotel business perfectly: room changes, early check-outs, room block-outs, different taxes and add-ons to basic prices - I am amazed!
Nachteile
I'd wish for an easier way to change prices on a daily basis OR to import base rates from the channel manager.
