PowerPoint is fun to use. I like all the features and functions. One particular feature that I like playing around with when preparing for a presentation is the layout. Whenever I right click on a slide and choose layouts, Power Point automatically provides options of layouts that can be used. That ensures I vary the presentation from one slide to the next from slide 1 to the last slide on the presentation. Hence, making my presentation interesting and keeps the audience captivated from the start to the end of my talk.

One issue I have with Power Point is playing a video using a link on the power point. When I am doing a presentation to audience that are joining my presentation via online (on Microsoft Teams) and in person. The link to the video is inserted on the Power Point. When I clicked the link instead of the video playing on Power Point, it directs me to the Youtube channel to view the video. Once the video ends, I will have to close the Youtube channel and go back to Power Point. Most times in my presentation, when using a video link in my presentation I switch off slide show and click the video link to view the video inorder to avoid the link directing me out of Power Point into Youtube. So what I found is when playing videos on slides that is not on slide show, the video plays on Power Point but when playing videos on slides that are on slide show the video is directed to Youtube. This means I have to switch back to power point after a video is complete in a presentation or talk.

I have been using PowerPoint for years for my own presentations and to edit presentations for c-level executives at conferences. I've learned that PowerPoint can do a lot more than I thought. One of its capabilities I love the most is that I can insert vector files from Adobe Illustrator onto a PowerPoint slide and the formatting doesn't change. This is great when someone from sales needs an infographic I previously designed added to their presentation. And when I'm building something from scratch within PowerPoint, there are a lot of design features that allow me to build graphics just as vibrant as those built with an Adobe application. The shapes and icons that are already installed look great, I can format their dimensions to make everything look uniform, the animations are easy to apply to each image or shape, and it's honestly even easier to use than Illustrator. PowerPoint is way more than just text on slides. You can easily create a visually dynamic presentation if you take a closer look at its design features. I love all of them.

The hardest part about using PowerPoint is when you're trying to create slide templates using the Slide Master feature. The logos, fonts, colors, headers or whatever you use on the template will stay put on the slide unless you go back into Slide Master mode to made edits to the template. But there were times when the person I shared a template with wanted to make a change or remove something from the template to make an especially large graphic fit on a slide. This created extra work for me because PowerPoint's Slide Master mode is a bit difficult to understand and I end up having to go back and help people make changes, which defeats the purpose of having a template. I wish it were easier to use for beginners.

I have used Microsoft PowerPoint I feel like since the day I was born it's been so long, in fact, it is THE ONLY tool and platform of its kind that comes to mind when I think of the word "presentation." One of the flaws this program has, is that when working with vectorial images, which are the most used currently to have a better quality, it doesn’t have the capacity to groupe all the pieces together, so every time you want to move or adjust the image, you have to select every piece to move it properly.

I can create a whole presentation by using Microsoft Power Point because it contains all functions for that. I can use large number of slides. So it is very clear for the listener to understand my presentation.I can insert images,videos,graphs,tables etc in a power point presentation. And also I can make my presentation more attractive by adding many features such as fonts,animations,effects etc. So Microsoft Power Point helps to convey my ideas well among others using presentations.

I am using Microsoft Excel for more than years. It has many updates from then. So I do not have any dislike on Microsoft Excel.

This is also useful for those with experience in the program, because the functions are many and the pictograms are like little jokers for the function itself (you don't have to remember everything). The advantage is that the program has many different functions for creating creative and attention-grabbing content (text in various forms, images, insertion of video and audio).

Nachteile

The fact that the keyboard shortcuts are not listed. The inability to import gif files into presentations in an easy and convenient way. The disadvantage is that the package is paid. The inability to edit the finished file on devices that do not have the program.

Its hard to find fault with a software that I rely on daily and enjoy using daily. The only con I have is not with Powerpoint but in the Powerpoint viewer. If a member of my team or classmates do not have Powerpoint installed and do not wish to use it, they can use the viewer to at least see the presentation. However it is a viewer only and doesn't allow for in presentation editing or feedback.

Powerpoint allows me to drop a text box, media box, or image anywhere within the slide. Those boxes can be manipulated to any size and shop easily and with out much concern from the software. In addition, I can add shapes such as arrows or circles with any color or weight. Last, I enjoy the image autosize feature that allows two pictures to be sized identically when placed side by side.

Nachteile

When adding shapes to pictures, I always have issues with grouping all the shapes and the base picture together when attempting to move them around. Sometimes I can select them all and it works fine other times I have to move them all separately which is annoying. Also, I do get annoyed that when I am working in a text box that each new line wants to capitalize itself.
