The main issue of the powerpoint that I have faced when I am preparing the presentation is, it is not provide direct animation tool to highlight or emphasize the one specific word in a sentence. By using "fill color, brush color and ect. " it emphasizes the entire sentence. There is an optional way to fulfill this requirement by using text box but I think it is easy if it has direct animation.
When presenting we can use highlight option but rather than it if we can give the animation of highlight one word during the preparation it is much easy.

As with any powerful software you can get lost in the options. For longer and more demanding presentations that need a wow factor PowerPoint is great but for the simple presentation the options may be overwhelming. Additionally, the intuitive feature of the program might lead you or force you into a look and feel of a presentation that you may not want. Finally, the files may be bigger than some of the other presentation making software out there.

There are so many presentation tools now and they offer you very good interfaces. The most difficult thing for me in PowerPoint has always been the interface. It has a very technical interface if you don't know the concepts well enough. Even for very simple operations, you may need to perform complex processes. In addition, another issue that I am most upset about is that the presentations we design in online format corrupt when we download them on different devices or on our own devices.

I have been using PowerPoint for many years, what I like the most is that they offer you an added value for the product, although you can count on software to make the best presentations for your work, school, or as a letter of presentation of your skills and abilities. , also offers you a series of tools that you can have in one place, a basic editor of graphic elements, you can draw with predefined objects, and even establish transitions that will give you an advantage over other people who do not know the program . I have managed, with PowerPoint, to work on basic aspects for clients who ask me for advancements in graphic work, that gives me an advantage because I have only had to receive a file under its format to begin polishing my clients' ideas. This is a software with many advantages, but if I should identify something that still bothers me, is the amount of space it occupies in the pc, the new versions I'm sure will correct that detail, but that does not influence the wonderful performance that has time to work.

Differences in online and desktop versions can be a disadvantage. So I would expect both places to have the same features. The latest Office versions 2019 and Office 365 are really out-of-the-box products that provide newer features like 3D models, etc. taking this tool to the next level altogether!

Being a most used application and looking to use this software for the maximum time period of my life, I would really prefer if the cost of this application or Microsoft Office bundle came at a more cheaper cost.
At times, we can make do with the MS office Home edition as it covers the basic applications and features.

You can attach as many pictures in the presentation slides and can present them to team in the organizations. There are certain features which I feel are missing such as attaching a high quality video in the presentation slide. Furthermore, the slides design could be improved and they can introduce more design to satisfy customer needs.

There are no aspects of the product which are difficult to use as this software is very easy to use and anyone with simple computer knowledge can handle this.

In addition to this, the integration of this PowerPoint software is not that difficult to integrate with our business processes. It is quite easy to integrate this product.

If you know all of the tricks in Powerpoint, there are very few tasks that will stump you. Unfortunately, it does take a long time to learn the software inside and out, and during that learning period, you may struggle to complete tasks simply because you do not understand the "correct" or "easy" way to do them. After years of working with the software, I do have a few complaints that remain: (1) Slide masters are not intuitive to customize nor master; (2) it is not possible to paste content on multiple slides simultaneously (for instance, if you wanted a picture at the same place on 5 slides... and yes, you can duplicate the 1st slide 5x but there are times where this is not the most direct route to doing what you want to do); (3) there is no way to easily assign existing content to a placeholder (meaning, if existing text should be the slide title, it cannot be right clicked and assigned as TITLE, instead it must be copied and pasted into the title placeholder box... very annoying)

You could be mistaken for thinking PowerPoint is just for Slideshows, sure, back in the olden days it was purely a bullet-point list maker, but nowadays, the ease-of-use and accessibility of the software has turned it into something much more adaptable.

Want to make a quick flow diagram of a process or an idea? - There's new tools that make this super simple to do. Have some sort of motivational diagram or poster to create that needs to be done quickly but still look ok? - again, if you know what you're doing with the tools you can make stuff that looks way more complex than a standard PowerPoint slideshow.

PowerPoint also has the ability to save as .pdf which makes it invaluable for making brochure like material, flowcharts for development teams, or just something you want to describe visually.

Obviously, it still does slideshows, and you can still bullet-point your way to something that looks fairly professional very quickly, but if you open up to the idea of using it for other types of diagrams it becomes a very adaptable piece of software.

Nachteile

On the downside, it could use some more keyboard shortcuts for the most used functions (ordering graphics in layers, etc) - and overall, it could have some more layout options, (guides, custom rulers like in Photoshop) - or easier animation options.

But overall, Powerpoint is one of the best bits of software Microsoft currently make, it's very adaptable for representing anything in a visual way (and has basically made Microsoft Visio a redundant piece of software in my opinion)

What i loved the most about it was the fact that I could let my imagination run wild and allow the program to bring my ideas to life! I also loved the options made available to me (including 3D visuals and cool audio to accompany my presentation). The price is great as well.

Well, as much as I liked the software, there are a few drawbacks. Like, when completing a slide, you tend TY develop a rhythm... but if you decide that you wanna make changes, it can be difficult doing things in reverse. Also, it would be really cool to use this software in other settings, like on Zoom, for example. And lastly, and I might sound like I'm being picky but....I wish there were more options in regards to the audio you can include.. but then you come into copyright issues. I guess the free stuff will just have to do.

I personally find MS PowerPoint easy for beginners and basic users to utilize the available well drafted sample templates in creating a finished product. It goes as easy as simply adding some pictures and data within the framework based on the selected template. As for advanced users which are mostly in the corporate industry and employees using the software regularly, they can create extraordinary presentations by incorporating videos, music and several animations. The best part is that there are a lot of ways to send your created presentations to which you can easily send as an email attachment and download a copy of it or upload it in your cloud storage so that you can have access to your presentations anywhere.

While PowerPoint can easily incorporate videos in the presentation, it may pose some difficulties when it comes to managing large video files when you attempt to insert it in the presentation. Though there is an option to compress the video file within in the application, you will need to have a decent computer unit and specs to make it as easy as possible to run in the system. Furthermore, with the recent trend with presentation applications, PowerPoint still lacks the ability to directly publish your presentations online like YouTube, Facebook and sharing social media channels. You may need to have some technical skills to go through the necessary steps in sharing your presentations on these type of media channels.

Another benefit of powerpoint is its huge library of themes and templates. So, you can shape your presentation as per your choice.

First of all, powerpoint doesn’t have any effective tutorials so that we can learn about new features easily. I think they have a good room for improvement in animating icons or pictures. Sometimes, I struggled to create interactive and engaging icons for my presentations. Apart from these, powerpoint has always been a great tool for me.

The only real con to this program, and this has been improved over the years, is the one on one customer service that is provided by Microsoft for any problems I might have. That aspect of this program could definitely be improved upon. No technological creation is perfect, so there may be one or two cons. It is difficult to figure out whether a link is required. It would be easier just to copy and paste the video for instance into the slide. Presenting on Zoom and adding a feature to see your notes where others can't, would be great. I have come across the issue of wasting paper when printing out presentations. It doesn't use the whole page. Other than that, it is great!

I can't say that there is much to complain about this software. But after extended use, I still sometimes find myself lost. I hope Microsoft considers releasing patch notes or version notes for users to easily navigate the new options or more importantly, relocation of menu items. PowerPoint is the most popular presentation software; however, the updates are not frequent. I believe this software needs to be updated more frequently, and new features should be added daily. Additionally, sharing presentations with other collaborators is far from being complete, although Microsoft has tried to add this feature to the Office products, it is not easy to use by no means. I wish Microsoft solved these issues, then PowerPoint would be great.

Cons: PowerPoint is not good for creating art or illustrations. If you want original graphics, then first you have to create in some other soft wares and then you have to import into PowerPoint Which is a tedious job. It all depends on the presenter to make use of the slides appropriately.

I love this software I can do so much with Microsoft and it is just not for Powerpoints. Rather, I can make much more with this product! I am able to create digital worksheets, planners, and notebooks because of the hyperlink system with the slides. Plus with the different panels, you can edit each and every individual piece of your powerpoint to make sure the sizing and shapes come out how you want them to be. I used this program for many of my digital notebook making needs and made a lot of amazing tools for people to download. This program makes it so easy to make things and is probably one of the only Microsoft tools I enjoy using.

I do however have a wish that there was a better ruler system because sometimes the sizing for your shapes and what not do not come out evenly because it will not properly measure the spaces perfectly and thus making it really difficult to make sure everything is perfectly proportional. However, other than that, there really is not much for me to dislike.

I find ppt very easy to use, and have been using it since I can remember. It has all of the essentials I need to create a good looking, professional presentation, and features that make it look like I know a lot more about design than I do. Designing a background by uploading a file and making it transparent, for instance ... looks stellar. Adding in some animation also makes your presentation feel more interactive, but doesn't take much effort at all. The available icons make it look more modern. There are a number of features that contribute to ease of use as well. It is easy to paste graphics/text in (for instance, ours or a client's company logo) and insert other pictures and files. Things are easy to insert, move around, play with, duplicate and edit. I also appreciate that there are templates you can choose when you aren't feeling very inspired. There are usually multiple people who are looking at the same ppt in our company, so the ability to insert comments is also super helpful. All of this being said, I think the software has a lot of other capabilities and functionalities that I have most likely not explored. For instance, every time I ask my Director of Marketing about something related to ppt, she usually shows me something I did not know before, and says that she discovers these features solely by Googling how to do something.

One thing I would say that I would love to see is some sort of process map feature. When I need to make a very custom process map I use Gliffy, export the diagram, and copy/paste it into my ppt presentation. Also - and this is a big one - for whatever reason, I have a lot of trouble when I am using the Slide Master View to insert a logo which needs to be on every page. I have Googled it, played with it, and always end up doing it manually (as in, pasting our logo onto every single slide). To be honest it drives me NUTS.

In some ways, the sky is the limit when it comes to using PowerPoint, and in a lot of ways PowerPoint makes your presentation a failure before you've even begun.

Why is it that PowerPoint makes it so easy to make your presentation look bad? It shouldn't recommend effects like drop shadows, 3-D word art, and horribly dated text and transition animations. Why are these features even still included? PowerPoint just enables people to make really really bad looking presentations. And a lot of that is on the software, honestly. The developers should bring in graphic designers to help them strip out the features that no one should use, and put in better templates and constrain the options. Constraints would lead to better designs.

Je suis passé à la dernière version (version 2019) il y a quelque temps et j’ai particulièrement apprécier le dessin, l’enregistrement de son écran… qui m’ont beaucoup aidé pour mes projets.

Grande est ma surprise de voir toutes les animations que l’on peut faire avec ce logiciel : la création de petits dessins animés, la personnalisation de mes animations des diaspositifs.

Il y a également plus d’option et de facilité pour la conception des exposés et présentations car je l’avais beaucoup utilisé durant mes études.

La version étudiante je l’apprécie beaucoup car déjà c’est moins cher et aussi c’est complet.
Cela signifie que Microsoft pense au bien être de toutes les couches sociales.

L’entreprise ne fournit pas des tutoriels gratuits pouvant permettre aux nouveaux utilisateurs du logiciel de pouvoir s’auto formé, les meilleurs tutoriels aujourd’hui qu’on a sur le logiciel sont seulement fournis par des particuliers par exemple sur YouTube.

Le concurrent immédiat de power point : Google Slides est totalement gratuit, en revanche le logiciel reste payant avec un coût un peu élevé.

1. Default PowerPoint themes, animation effects haven't improved much in the last 10 years. MacOS offers better features compared to PowerPoint in this regard.
2. Using Hyperlinks in PowerPoint is a little tricky. If the document contains links of videos, images or documents which are to be opened in the middle of the presentation, We need to ensure that those supporting files are transferred along with PowerPoint document. They aren't embedded directly into the presentation. May be adding a preview option of the supporting document (without increasing file size) could be helpful.
3. There could be compatibility issues while using the powerpoint document with various versions of the software. So it's important to check the final document in the PC through which the presentation is to be made and do necessary corrections.

Like all Microsoft products,, Powerpoint has it's eccentricities. For a newbie it could be hard to be efficient with this tool. And for ma as a experienced Powerpoint user - I am missing better possibilities to create graphics or animated graphics within Powerpoint. Therefore I have to create these animations using another tools and then I import them into the Powerpoint.

1. Simplicity - No need to Learn a lot about power point online, One can explore and learn by themselves apart from the training and info available online. interface is Comprehensible.
2. Availability - predefined Themes, Layouts, Diagrams and Charts are already available and one can easily download from Online and are meaningfully asked to select before the presentation
3. Features - packed with a ton of features. Lot of options in Design, Transitions, Animations. Best feature i like is the "Record Slide" which makes it to record narration while presenting slide. this feature helped me to train my subordinates
4. Use - Large number of people use it thus it is easier to find any help online regarding Powerpoint

I have worked with PP for several years and even now I still have to look up tutorials for some specific cases, when I am not really sure how to achieve a given result or have the program "do" something.

PowerPoint, one of the best Microsoft softwares that i can imagine, it is easy to use , but as i can notice, in past couple of months it has been pretty hard to use , especially for users which machine is too slow.Also , i heard a lot of people saying , my PowerPoint just got deleted yesterday, i cant use it anymore, and that is what happened to me ,for 2 weeks , i cant use PowerPoint. And its such a bad thing , because it was very helpful for my educational purpose. Also my friends and family are using PowerPoint , and some of them also mentioned that they are not able to use PowerPoint anymore. It is too easy to use , and it has a lot of great stuff in it , lot of details , new updates and upgrades literally every week , which is extremely awesome. Thank you Power Point for all good purposes to use.

What i do not like about this software is that you have to connect your gmail with it , and there is a lot of people in world that do not knows how to do that, PowerPoint year ago, was , for me , so much better because it was simpler ,i mean a lot simpler, also sometimes i have trouble with finding certain kinds of options that PowerPoint provide, for some people they made a network that can not be tapped . i agree they need to upgrade their software but i think they should make it easier for people which do not know how to use computer properly. My grade of this software is about 7,8/10.

This can be quite frustrating if you know your way around Powerpoint and struggle to use or don't have access to other image editors. It is a problem that can be fixed but it takes a couple of steps that most users will not easily find. A Google search will lead to the hidden steps to resolving this problem so all is not lost if you image creation is what you're after.
