In my opinion, it is the most friendly presentation program that exists. It allows you to create, animate, attach information (Videos, images, other sheets) I think the limit is put on your own ... It is a good tool to create or edit presentations. It's the one I use.

Nachteile

-. The help menu I see something insufficient or basic, I think you can have a menu to instruct us in advanced functions, in order to get more out of this excellent program.
-. The background of the plates in my opinion I see it very limited the predetermined, there should be the function of being able to customize the funds of the presentations.
-. A function that controls or regulates the resolution of the images to be inserted in the sheets is missing, since when they are very heavy it is cumbersome to locate the green of the image to regulate their size.
-. I also find it necessary to be able to choose the resolution or weight of the presentations given that depending on the size of the images is determinant in the weight of the files.

i have used multiple software's before power point presentation but PowerPoint is one windows solution for a good presentation, it is hard to imagine a professional presentation without Power point. the selection of slides and the graphical appearance of words, images, and addition of audio and videos i just love it.

PowerPoint provide different formatting features like bullets, shapes, adding images and videos ,different fonts and font sizes which helps the presenter to create more attractive and eye catching presentations where he or she can grab the attention of the audience with the effects created by those features. presenter can include images ,pictures which provides better understanding for the audience as well as videos where users can include videography of the practical demonstrations relevant to the presentation inside the presentation itself. To create a PowerPoint presentation one does not need to be a professional. It is easy to operate and much better presentations can be created easily.

Nachteile

In appropriate use of animations and styles may make the audience to loose the focus towards the presentation. Audience may get interrupted by the animations and get distracted which causes the audience to miss the content of the presentation. No matter how much information are included in the slides unless proper styling and animations are not used there the presentation created may not fulfill its task.

- Better for things when you don’t have much time and attention to invest like when I was doing Post graduations this tool helps me a lot with too many editing options and variations in slides. When you have to prepare Five, six presentations in a very short period of time it is like a god to you.

- Power point is also helpful for those illiterate people and rural people who can’t read and write. so that we can make them understand important message through pictures and sign. so, it is helpful for organisations, business and education level too.

- What I love most about power point is the way we can modify and present slides by adding effects and sound, all those things make it pretty attractive and interesting.

PowerPoint is a great presentation tool. I use it as a classroom teacher for many of my lessons. You can easily insert text, images, movies, and more for an interactive experience in the classroom. We had some read aloud stories that were not engaging enough for my students. I was able to find images online and match these to the story topics. I added text, titles, vocabulary descriptions and more to create much more engaging material for the students. PowerPoint allows you to add text boxes, transitions, comments and more if you are looking to improve your presentations. I have also used it while leading staff development opportunities to help guide presentations. It is a nice tool for keeping presentations on task, while still not just reading the information.

Nachteile

There is not anything about PowerPoint that jumps out at me as a need. It is user friendly and the results have been impressive. I have tried to use some of the available templates which is useful. However, there could be a better variety of templates. They tend to just have different color schemes, and it would be useful to find more variations of text layout on the templates that are easy to plug in.

I cannot imagine a presentation without Microsoft PowerPoint. It is my go-to platform to create incredible designs that represents the quality of my work. It is easy to use and fun to experiment with new designs. I feel at home with the familiar technical features.

My experience with Microsoft PowerPoint has evolved due to nature and frequency of use. But for inexperience presenters simply to depend of existing images might be limiting. In other words, if user is a poor presenter it will be boring for the audience if slides are utilized in basic form and not creatively enhanced.

I imagine we have all been trapped in a meeting where the presenter is simply reading PowerPoint slides to their audience--because of these experiences, audiences can be dismissive of presentations when they learn that PowerPoint will be used. In my eyes, this is not an issue with PowerPoint itself but rather ignorance of principals for effective public speaking. Depending on a PowerPoint as the core of any presentation is setting up for failure--the real magic comes in engagement with your audience; the slides should only be something to help you illustrate your point. In other words, PowerPoint is just a TOOL for presentations, not a self-contained presentation.

I would like to see improved version control with SharePoint. We produce a similar deck tailored for each client on a monthly cadence. The ability to easily apply a 'view' on a master presentation so that it is tailored for a particular customer would be very useful. The slide master lets this happen from a cosmetic perspective, but to adjust filters on the accompanying charts and graphs would take it to the next level.

Powerpoint's drawing utilities are not on par with dedicated graphic design software such as MS Visio. In particular, the snap-to settings can behave strangely and make it tough to draw and perfectly straight/perpendicular lines when drawing objects with multiple lines on one edge.

In Google slide we can easily switch from the online version to offline version Also it does not require any installation as in power point we just need a Internet connection & a google account. The templets available are also Quite less as compared to other Platform. Even in Microsoft PPT the templets are not Editable. You cannot always collaborate with the Presentation & team discussion Together it is done in 2010 version but still but there is a need of saving the presentation so that it can be shared through one drive with team. Mainly it is used in offline presentation but for online one very few features are available.

It really helps to put our ideas across by using combinations of different media elements. It is best platform tool used by corporates, education institutes, etc. I personally demonstrate new features to my class students using powerpoint slides.
It is easy to design a slide, provide good backgrounds, templates, colors, etc. It is very easy to place text and images on a slide in any place in any manner.
Slide animation and individual elements animation really adds a boost to this platform as it can be used accordingly while representing data to others.
Slide master helps to set a proper template across all slides and we can use in-built or custom themes too.
There are various other features that are provided by MS PowerPoint and it indeed helps a lot in the long run.

PowerPoint has become very outdated although MS Office keeps on updating providing it a bit of new added features. However, those in the technology field would know, the new tool Microsoft Sway launched few years back can also provide almost similar features like the MS PowerPoint, as it is preferred for storyboard telling.
MS Office suite is pretty expensive but a value for money for all the features they provide.
Macros in PowerPoint is really tough when compared with MS Excel, as they need to be custom programmed instead of being captured and run automatically, making it tougher to use.

For more than 10 years I've used it has always had updates. At first the changes were interesting but they did not affect the interface nor the ordering of their tools, however the last 3 updates have forced me to relearn the software since its interface changes and it is difficult for me to maintain the same productive rhythm.

Is that I can use it in lots of ways that it probably wasnt designed for but works so well at.Creating print adverts (yes, I dont use InDesign or Adobe software) I use this & save as a print ready PDF, I also use it to edit my logos, photography, social media assets, I even created a Calendar on it to send to our customers. Its just much easier to use than some of the other software out there.

Really struggling here as i use it in so many ways. Possibly a simpler way to format selected images within to the same size & aspect ratio, at the moment I have to do this individually but really its not that difficult

PowerPoint also has the AutoSave option and recovery option which help us to never loose our presentation. We can directly save our presentation to our local storage or to our one drive. We can save our slide show as PDF or many other file formats also we can create a video using our slideshow.

PowerPoint has its limitations for the arts and graphics capacities when you try to modify some SmartArts Infographics that are quick to create but meager/poor to impress with something new out of the box like graphic customization is a little stressful. if you want to incorporate in the slides you will need to use another software as illustrator canvas photoshops to complement and work from Cero in other place and then paste it into the slides. also, the SAS implementation to work with give you some annoying situations for restrictions in the use and slowly run due by more resources of memory from the computer.

I find PowerPoint very to use and over the years it has made me to become known as an expert in making presentations. I use Microsoft PowerPoint for company and customer presentations, pitch deck, marketing presentations and keynotes. Being a Marketer, visual presentation matters a lot when communicating to audiences and I find that Microsoft PowerPoint helps me to show-case my work project updates easily through the easy Design features and ability to import images and visuals.

While the Slide Master is good at helping create uniform design in a presentation, it is not as intuitive to use and sometimes you get different slide designs. I also find the page numbering gets distorted at the footer and you have to manually manipulate it. Wish it was automatic and easy to apply across.

Power point interface is extremely easy to use and therefore it makes it easy for anyone with out any previous experience working on the software to still make beautiful presentation and designs. PowerPoint allows you to make presentations and test them as you make them through a slideshow view, while doing this you can also make changes to your presentation any time. PowerPoint has lots of cool features which are very easy to use and add to your presentation e.g. animations, videos, shapes, chats and many other more; all this can be added to your presentation with just a click or two. What I like most about power point and even better with power point 365 is the “save as” option; this option allows you to create a design e.g. poster and then easily save it as an image to allow for easy sharing on other platforms such as social media. You can save your work under lots of different format of your choice including as PDF or even better with the latest edition(s) of PowerPoint including the 365 edition you can save your video works as mpeg-4 videos which is really awesome!!!.

For example, there are a lot of great functionalities in Powerpoint but we do not see an updated list of transitions and animations (they are still standard and old) the freedom to animate is extremely limited. the fonts and background library need to be expanded. the pictures modification options and background removal are great yet need to be tuned for better performance and it would be lovely if more options are added to them as well.

What isn't there to be said about PowerPoint. This is the original presentation software, still used by many, even as Google Slides, Haiku Deck, and a plethora of other tools come on the market. This is still a highly effective tool and used heavily in business/corporate. PowerPoint offers a lot of features to help turn an ordinary presentation into something more interactive or engaging. Although some things aren't easy to do, there are work around. Love the ability to get music to play in the background of your slide deck whole presenting. The themes are nice and they give you a variety to choose from as well as a lot of animation capability that honestly, many other presentation tools do not offer. The ability to hyperlink, embed links, or do some image editing and modifications is simple as well.

There are some things that need to be addressed. First, with the advent of Google tools built on collaboration, the ability to edit and collaborate in real-time with others is needed. Also, I wish there was a way to easily embed Youtube clips or drag files from online cloud storage like Drop Box, Google Drive, etc.

I have had some problems with the video import function. Because Powerpoint allows a hyperlink to a video, the software does not import the actual video or store it on the cloud. So the video must go anywhere the presentation goes, and the video needs to be correctly linked if the presentation goes onto a different machine. I've had very few problems with Powerpoint. But I do have one strong suggestion. There are so many versions of powerpoint out there, that opening one presentation with a different version can cause problems with the original layout, font, or colors. Always check the presentation if it's being moved to a machine that's different than the one on which it was created.

Powerpoint is an excellent tool for presentations and simple videos, but if you don't know how to use it, it is not very useful for image creation. When downloading images in Powerpoint, the image quality of the downloaded file is not good at all. It becomes very pixelated. If you understand how to use Powerpoint and it is difficult or impossible to use other image editors, you may feel very frustrated. This is a solvable problem, but it requires multiple steps, so it is not easy for many users to find. Google search will lead to hidden steps to solve this problem, so if you want to create an image, nothing will be lost.

There is the possibility to export the file as a video, but this is convenient only for simple and relatively poor presentations. For rich and more complex presentations it is not a good possibility. Options for image and animation creation is sort of limited in Powerpoint. It is best to create these in different software and then import to your presentation. Images downloaded from Powerpoint can be of terrible quality. If you add too many graphics, audios and videos the PP file can quickly become very big and the program might slow down.

I have been using this software for 10 years now. is my most faithful companion for the creation of interactive and original presentations. Both in my work and in my studio I am required to use this software to explain my research works and theses. Thanks to powerpoint I can always create innovative and never predictable projects, especially thanks to the presence of different animations. Also I love the feature that provides new templates, backgrounds and different fonts. My favorite feature is the ability to create very detailed graphs, which report the data I enter by directly linking excel to powerpoint. To this day I have never found better software than this, which correctly supports my scientific and computer work

As a university lecturer, I have integrated PowerPoint for every class to enhance my teaching. PowerPoint allows me to show instructions, reveal answers in a scaffolded way, provide reinforcements, use differetn colors to highlight certain grammar topics and illustrate instructions. With PowerPoint, I can embed multi-media features that help emphasize certain points. Also, having PowerPoint, I can embed the slides for my courses on the course websites, so students can easily see what they missed, review for an exam, or simply go back over the material. For review, PowerPoint allows me to create a detailed jeopardy like review games that can be used as additional resources. From a professional standpoint, I use powerpoint in academic presentations and have embedded graphs and used it to hyperlink to other sites.

There are not a lot of cons with PowerPoint from my view points. It would be nice if it was easier to embed videos that worked seamlessly with other media formats. It is possible on PowerPoint, but not as intuitive as I would like.

I love that the layout of a slide is extremely versatile and can include text, icons, charts & tables, photos, and videos. There is also a broad range of functionality that I use, from animation and transition effects to custom formatting of fonts, colors, and transparency. Finally, I really appreciate the ability to work in slide decks at the same time as other people, which enables real-time collaboration with office colleagues.

Sometimes a PowerPoint file will freeze or crash if it becomes too large. Also, it can be difficult to copy a slide from one presentation to another presentation and maintain consistency of formatting - usually there will be some elements that are out of place, the wrong size, color, and/or design theme, etc, so that can require time-consuming manually editing.

The quantity and quality of presentation templates available for PowerPoint - and not just the official ones found through Microsoft's website, although these are uniformly quite excellent on their own, but also the countless other third party ones that can be found in volume across the internet - allows for the quick and easy createion of presentations that look both aesthetically pleasing and professional regardless if the author is somebody new to the software or with only a novice skillset.

Perhaps because it is possible to create such high quality presentations using twmplates that do most of the heavy liftng, it's easy to develop a mindset that you know how to use PowerPoint much better than you actually do. However, much like another benchmark software in Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint is a lot !ot more complex than one might realize. No matter how often I use it or how many new features I may learn, I always feel that there are entire components and features that exist that I know nothing about.

The word presentation covers a wide range of activities, powerpoint is unable to do illustrations. and when talking about the price, its alright with organizations and companies. but when talking about a small unit such as someone who doesn't do much of presentations,it going to be quite unfair because, they will have to purchase the software paying quite a considerable amount. I think its better to provide free options for the people like that. and also powerpoint could be more user-friendly. one need to have some kind of education or knowledge to use this software.

PowerPoint has been around for a long time. It has remained the standard/default application for creating presentations (I use for office and school). I have used this since High School and a lot has changed (for the better).

The ribbon interface is really intuitive and helpful. For smaller screen laptops, you can hide this ribbon for more screen real estate. The same familiar tools of the Microsoft Office suite is there, so very little learning curve from Word and Excel to PowerPoint.

I love the options to export your slides to PDF, or even an executable presentation which makes it very portable for use anywhere.

With the new Office 365 model, I am kept up-to-date with the latest features and bug fixes. Also, it works flawlessly with OneDrive and SharePoint. It is also more collaborative now, allowing for group work done simultaneously. Sharing is easy and access is manageable.

There are many themes to choose from, either direct download as you create a "New" presentation, or just a simple search for templates and sample slide online. There are tons out there and most are for free.

Nachteile

I wish the default transitions and animations were as fluid and awesome as the competition (e.g., Mac).
