Vorteile

-The interface was easy to use.
-The registration page was aesthetically pleasing.

The updates were simple.
-Overall registration setup was easy and customized to our needs.
-Having Matti Holdridge on site. She was with us from start to finish for the entire project, including setup, cleanup, and troubleshooting.
-The badges and lanyards that we designed were of supreme quality.
-The registration process for our attendees on site was so easy and seamless.

Nachteile

Although we had a fabulous project manager who did everything, we did need to reach out to her every time, as the backend was not easy to navigate without detailed instructions. While we appreciate having a project manager, having an overview training session on each feature would have been nice. This way, the project manager wouldn't always depend on our timeline. As a small staff, it's sometimes easier to do a few things independently and then have the team edit.

Additionally, our daily schedule was put in as sessions instead of an agenda. We needed to be able to scan our attendees in only once per day, and it was hard at the event to find the correct session daily.

Each aspect of vFairs was customizable, which is great; as I said, we have a small office, so for certain features, it would have been nice to have templates to choose from or be advised ahead of time that because each aspect is customizable and needs to be built out, requires specific attention and a certain amount of time. Hence, a needs list for all features with a timeline for implementation. I would have planned better if I understood it better.

FCEDA Platform Experience Review

It was a great learning experience, and has cool features that elevated our events. However, we had a few issues with communications with our Project Manager. There were also a few glitches that really dissapointed us during the designing of the websites phase. It would be great to see vFairs expand the graphic designs, and templates implemented on the event websites for event administrators.

Vorteile

The customization capabilities, and control for email communication customizations pre, during, and post event. It's a nice elevated event experience for attendees.

Nachteile

The production turnaround time for certain features and graphic modifications. We were dissapointed to find out that a vFairs developer had to do the graphic updates/changes. We had to wait 1-2 days for that to get done. We were hoping to be able to control that, so it's a quicker turnaround update for our attendees, which really impacts the event outcome.

V-Fairs is GREAT!

My overall experience has been very easy and transformative for our food shows! They are accommodating to all of your ideas and flexible when needed. We have weekly meetings to help keep us all on our timeline. The team is very responsive as well.

Vorteile

V-Fairs is very accommodating and flexible! If you have a unique idea, they will make sure it happens! I also love how all of your previous events are saved. It makes the next event that much easier.

Nachteile

Still working on the negotiation/allowance side of our event. I would love for the vendors to have the ability to talk just to V-Fairs on questions instead of going through me as a middleman.

It was great. The team was friendly, [sensitive content hidden] was always very quick to respond and was so patient with all of our requests.

Vorteile

The many options available to us for our event. We also loved the help, knowledge and responsiveness of our project manager, [sensitive content hidden].

Nachteile

Only that we were very dependent on [sensitive content hidden] for many registration revisions. But he was quick to respond, so it was ok. I just felt bad having to request so much of him.

Using vFairs Saved My Company So Much Stress

The product is a 4 but my experience is a 5! [sensitive content hidden] answered all of our questions, and we had a lot of them, and quickly implemented any requests we made that were possible within vFairs capabilities.

Vorteile

[sensitive content hidden]! Plus, the ease of being able to copy a site then edit it for a new event.

Nachteile

The backend reporting. With Stova, we were able to pull reports to see who was sent the registration invite and more easily edit registrations, if need be.

vFairs provides accessible events that are easy to set up

We met with many vendors before choosing vFairs. They were the most cost effective and had great examples of accessible events they had already hosted on the platform.

Virtual Conference with vFAIRS

Vorteile

We are planning a first year conference in a virtual environment. vFAIRS has been there every step of the way with us, even though we've been working out a lot of logistical details on our end. Their professionalism and patience has been invaluable in bringing this event to life. Our account rep [sensitive content hidden] has been extremely responsive and helpful with all of our questions.

Nachteile

As someone with a web development background, I am more comfortable with a lot more backend control, but for the average user I think the platform is perfectly suited.

ideal solution for virtual event management

We required a virtual event platform capable of hosting live and pre-recorded presentations, facilitating chat, polls, surveys, ensuring a seamless attendee experience, featuring virtual expo capabilities, and boasting technical robustness. vFairs covers these needs and the regular exchange with the project team helps us to improve the event experience for our attendees.

Vorteile

The support team is always friendly and quick to respond. The technology is robust and the attendee journey smooth from registration to login.

Nachteile

The backend, especially the landing page editor could be more intuitive and easier to use for non-html programmers.

Gold standard customer service

Overall, we have had a very positive experience with vFairs. Our Project Manager took so many things off our plates that we would have had to handle directly ourselves with other apps, that it ended up creating a huge improvement in our work quality of life!

, our Project Manager, has been an outstanding support. She frequently astonishes us with the speed with which she responds to our requests.We previously used Pathable as our mobile app, prior to its being sunsetted by Community Brands. We loved it, and it was heartbreaking when they shut it down. But our heartbreak has been tempered because while vFairs isn't perfect, it's an outstanding app that has a very user-friendly back-end that makes updating the app a breeze. On top of that, [sensitive content hidden]
helps take care of a lot of the data entry work that we would otherwise have done ourselves with any other app, which has been a real boon, freeing up time in our schedules for other work around our events.The fact that vFairs can link up with Cvent (which we have used as our registration platform for ages) is also a HUGE plus. I frequently say that Cvent has the best customer service of any organization I have ever worked with. But vFairs definitely gives them a run for their money - they are neck and neck for the top spot!

Nachteile

The app itself is a little clunky on the user side. Also, pairing up the QR codes from the attendees we imported to vFairs from Cvent, with the name badges that we generated directly out of Cvent.While to some extent this was an issue we didn't adequately communicate to our attendees, they also expressed confusion and frustration with the QR code scanning, as they didn't understand that for them to connect the information in their vFairs app profiles with sponsors, exhibitors, and other attendees, they had to scan WITHIN the app, rather than simply using their phone/device cameras to scan the codes. It makes sense to us, having worked in the back end of the app and understanding what information is connected to what, but it took a fair amount of explaining to get that across to our attendees.

Wonderful conference and training platform

We first contracted with vFairs to provide one virtual conference. We were so happy with the outcome, we have since contracted with them to host an additional conference and create a virtual training platform for us.

Exceptional

Vorteile

I really like their adaptability. They have grown with us in hybrid events and strive to met every need we have in a platform as we grow.

Nachteile

Time zones can be a little challenging some times with most of the people working on our event being located in the Middle East.

Great Customer Service

Vorteile

My favorite part about vFairs is customer support when building the app. I handed off all my materials to my Project Manager, [sensitive content hidden], and her team took care of the rest. The team is prompt in answering all my questions and assisting me.

Nachteile

I wish the app were more customizable. The structure of the main app does not have the adaptability of other apps.

Review vFairs for conference use

This is a good platform for live-streaming events. However, we could do better with sufficient training.

Vorteile

The interface is neat and well-organized.

Nachteile

Abstract management was not orderly. There was no way of communicating with the abstract authors.
It is not user-friendly for attendees who are not familiar with tech.
Usability was too manual.

A Commendable Experience with vFairs!

Vorteile

From the outset, the level of customer service and support we received was truly exceptional. Our dedicated project manager, [sensitive content hidden], exemplified professionalism and expertise throughout the entire process. She was responsive, gave clear explanations and instructions, and made suggestions for improvement. As first-time users of a virtual event platform, we were pleasantly surprised by the ease and seamlessness vFairs offered. The platform has intricate customization options, a user-friendly interface, and diverse features.

Nachteile

Although not a major setback, there is one aspect we wished we could have had more control over - the ability to edit and customize the landing page and the vFairs rooms on our own. This would have allowed us to preview different design arrangements, offering greater flexibility and immediate visualization.

Quick to respond

Vorteile

I like how quick vFairs are able to support when we need to change or fix something. I also like how interactive you can make an event and how easy it is to use on the front end.

Nachteile

Because there are so many available features, the backend can be quite overwhelming but once you know where to find everything, it's very useful.

Hybrid Academic Conference

In the end, we were highly satisfied with the vFairs platform and plan to use it again to host our hybrid conference next year. If it were not for the initial issues with abstract management/notification, they would have earned a 10/10 ranking for recommending to a colleague. During the conference itself, our experience with vFairs was perfect.

Vorteile

This is a company that really cares about their users' experience and satisfaction. Our project manager ([SENSITIVE CONTENT]) was absolutely outstanding. This was our first hybrid meeting (having been online in 2020 and 2021, and previously only in-person). It was a great success. The support team during the event was fantastic, and the hybrid aspects flowed seamlessly. The website/conference platform had an extremely professional appearance and were easy to navigate. We could make edits and download on the backend ourselves, or these were made quickly upon request to vFairs.

Nachteile

We had difficulty with the abstract management system, which was a new feature that vFairs was rolling out (and therefore did not charge us to use). In brief, the abstract submission form was not ready in a timely manner, requiring us to set up our own submission system. We then imported these submissions into vFairs, which generally worked (one field was missing from some entries), but then the abstract notification emails did not all send, which required additional manual work. However, we have communicated with vFairs about these issues, and we expect them to improve in the future. Setting up the conference platform for the first time was quite labor-intensive, as there were many decisions to make and these were unfamiliar to us, but vFairs customer service (specifically [SENSITIVE CONTENT]) was outstanding and helped us through every step of the way.The 4-star rating for features/functionality is due to the very slow search feature in our poster hall. There are some other features that are less flexible than might be ideal, but these were definitely workable for our needs once they were understood (and many things were quite flexible, just not everything).

vFairs platform completely failed to deliver for our event

We approached vFairs with a view to delivering 3 events for us over a 3 month duration. The initial impression of the platform was very good, and whilst aesthetically it looked a little dated, it was technically capable of replicating the key aspects of our events in a virtual environment.

However, the reality is that vFairs completely failed to deliver the service and functionality promised. On the day, the platform wasn’t finished; several of the key features didn’t work, and the UX and client experience was completely unacceptable. On a call, a member of staff intimated that in trying to exploit the rush to virtual events (as a result of the Covid pandemic) vFairs have severely over-stretched their capacity.

This was certainly reflected in our experience, and it is clear that the resources vFairs allocated to the project has not been adequate. 4 weeks prior to delivery we highlighted severe reservations about our project management, and the UK team (who negotiated the sale) had escalated our concerns to senior management and the [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], but despite assurances that additional resources would be committed, they still failed to deliver a functioning platform on the day of the conference.

Vorteile

Theoretically, vFairs as a platform is able to replicate the key value of our conferences in a virtual environment. It can: 1. host content, presentations, Q&A and panels, 2. facilitate business engagement between buyers and sellers, 3. Provide delegate interaction. The problem is that these functions simply didn’t work properly.

Nachteile

On the day of the event, the platform wasn’t finished and critical features were missing or dysfunctional: the exhibitor booths were incomplete, the chat function didn’t work properly and the competitions didn’t run as instructed.

The content delivery was also unacceptable: vFairs streamed the video content in such low resolution that the text and graphics on many of the slides was illegible, while some speakers were barely recognisable.

There was not enough vFairs staff to run the event properly, and those that were in charge of hosting the content weren’t properly briefed and equipped to do their job. The vFairs staff didn’t understand the times and format of the sessions; the presentation videos weren’t ready at the required time, and in multiple cases vFairs staff didn’t even seem to know they were hosting the session.

In one instance a vFairs representative announced to one of our clients that not only had they failed to get the video ready, but their bandwidth was so low that they weren’t confident they could download it in time for the session starting.

Events are all about the user experience, and unfortunately the functionality and service standards were so poor that the UX was severely compromised.

vFairs Provides an Engaging Experience

Using vFairs has allowed us to make a global onboarding process that is engaging, informative, and very well received by our new caregivers.

Vorteile

vFairs is easy to use, very customizable, and allowed us to create an engaging virtual live experience. Our contacts at vFairs , especially our Project Manager [SENSITIVE CONTENT]
, are amazing: very responsive and helpful in all aspects of design, configuration, and the day-to-day operations of our weekly event.

Nachteile

Since we have a weekly event, we were interested in triggering automated emails to the weekly groups--- vFairs is working on ways to help us do that in a more automated way. That said, we're still able to do this with just a few clicks!

Awesome Product!

Our Project Manager [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is awesome! Great response time to requests and changes we needed. This year we didn't get started as soon as we wanted, but [SENSITIVE CONTENT]made it all come together in record time.

Vorteile

There was a learning curve the first year we used vFairs for our event, but our [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was amazing! We went through weekly training sessions with her. By the end of the training I was able to complete the setup for our event. This time was so much easier. The fact that you can keep the information from the previous event is so helpful! The reports give us everything we need and more.

Nachteile

I do not know of anything that needs changing. I would say it would be great to have more access to the backend of the website so I could make some of the edits without bothering the project manager so much.

Successful event registration

Vorteile

The customer service support which provided custom solutions for our events including landing pages, registration forms, email campaigns, on-site check-in, badge printing and reporting. The package of technology, equipment, staffing and logistics all contributed to making our events successful.

Nachteile

As with any new partnership, there was a learning curve with on-boarding. We quickly aligned on an efficient workflow.

Philippine Digital Convention 2022

vfairs has been a collaborative partner throughout the various projects we mounted for PLDT. I really appreciate and feel lucky that the assigned PM to us was [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. Every request has been considered and she went above and beyond the deliverables. Her patience and understanding with the client demands in such short periods of time are greatly appreciated. I really made it a point to request for her to be my partner in the implementation process as I was sure she would be of great help not only to me but to the overall assurance that the project/s will run smoothly.

Vorteile

vFairs as an event platform is all-in-one, one-stop shop in terms of virtual platform requirements. It is also our first time as an events agency to use a virtual platform to monitor registrants for the physical component, and the vFairs platform has been effective for that as well.

Extremely amateurish

Conferences are a very important part of academia, and like everywhere else, we have had to switch to online venues. It is clear that vFairs has absolutely no experience with academic conferences, or that they have ever tried to attend one of the events they organised. The interface is extremely clunky, it is nearly impossible to find other people, it is impossible to share informations with others (like, if you find someone in the chat, you cannot direct them to your presentation because it's not possible to even send a simple link to it). The purpose of a conference is to foster communication, but the Q&A interface next to each poster doesn't allow replying to questions... The live call provided by Whereby is okay, but opens in a new window, so you cannot show your poster at the same time unless you share you own screen... And there is no way of knowing if the live call room is populated before you join, with camera and sound on by default...

In short, vFairs is just a collection of pre-existing tools haphazardly put together, without any integration... the live support present during the conference is here only to tell users that the obvious functionality that their looking for is actually not implemented...

Vorteile

Nothing really. The whole operation seems like a scam.

Nachteile

All looks and zero functionality. I guess they convince organisers by showing fancy 3D conference center images... which serve absolutely no purpose. They should have spent less time on this, and more time on making their website usable.

Istrico Productions May Event -- Feedback

Overall, we so appreciate [SENSITIVE CONTENT] work and find her to be incredibly responsive and helpful. However, we had a number of issues day-of related to session management.

The best part of our VFairs experience is working with [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. She has been incredibly responsive and detail-oriented throughout the process, and we appreciate her willingness to execute our last-minute tasks!

Nachteile

We were very disappointed in some of the elements day-of. Our biggest issue was during our breakout sessions, when we started "going live" prematurely and thus our hundreds of attendees saw and heard communication that was supposed to be had behind the scenes. Additionally, the VFairs team members assigned to each breakout session seemed to have no familiarity with our show flow and repeatedly asked speakers "if they had slides" which threw everyone off guard. Being that we had sent a show flow to the VFairs team weeks before the event, we expected everyone to have a better understanding of the expectations for each session.

Additionally, the VFairs team members in our sessions day-of did not appear to make any judgement calls with regard to changing up Zoom views. Speakers who had finished talking would be left up on screen for minutes after another person started talking, which resulted in folks on the Istrico team needing to take over and switch to gallery view. Because of this, the overall viewing experience looked very clunky and unprofessional, and what our attendees wound up seeing was:

1. Speakers and VFairs staff talking to one another while live
2. Major delays in switching from one person talking to the next

Highly praise for vFairs

The BEST platform for virtual events!!!

Absolutely amazing! We have been using vFairs for about 2 years and I have only good things to say about it! It is a terrific platform with an amazing customer service team! Its a 10/10 in my book!

I love that everything is customizable. I also love the fact that vFairs listens to feedback from their customers and are constantly improving. The vFairs team is extremely quick to respond and always a pleasure to work with.

Great customer service

Vorteile

This is our second year working with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] at VFairs. He makes the process easy to implement and responds quickly to any questions we have. The platform is easy to maneuver and it's fun to create the virtual booths. The platform allows us to collect student feedback via surveys and provides usage data for all attendees.

Nachteile

The Vfairs platform is easy to use form an attendee point of view. From an admin view, the software has what I need to create reports - sometimes I have to be more confident to poke around and try things.

vFairs is the best virtual event platform to use.

We are a creative agency, so our platform has to be innovative, cutting edge, and above all else fully customizable. vFairs checks off all those boxes, and tops it off with excellent customer support from start to finish.

There really isn't anything that gives me pause right now. If anything, I wish some of the custom add-ons and integrations we're included in the base event package.

vRLC - Youth for Christ

Overall good, there did/does appear to be a gap between what we were told during the sales process and actual deliverables during event execution. Quite often we felt we were told one thing at the start, and it turned out to not be the case. But I will say our Project Managers we worked with directly were always very helpful and quick to offer answers!

Vorteile

I appreciated how user friendly it was, and for the most part our staff was able to navigate through the platform to get to the main areas with little to no help.

Also - the booths were a hit, loved the amount of resources we were able to hand out.

Lastly - being able to pull so much real and raw data in real time is fantastic!

Nachteile

On the backend, our team struggled to understand how to use and fully apply al that the platform had to offer. There were a lot of functions we didn't even know we had until a few days prior to our event, specifically on how to do the Zoom / Vimeo integration. We also had a large number of employees say they never received email confirmation regarding their log ins, and there is good chance it was an error on the individuals end, but I wanted to write it down for reference.

Annual Conference 2020

I am not sure if I would go back to using V-Fairs. I think you have a great platform but need to work on customer service and do more with the tech peice for the price you are charging. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was very helpful but getting ahold of anyone at v-fairs was very difficult.
The looks and graphics were wonderful but using third party designers made it very difficult to make any changes quickly.

Vorteile

Our attenddes enjoyed the platform and how easy it was for them to use and easy to navigate. I like that you can make your exhibitors seen just like at an inperson training. The reporting after the conference is also very nice. Our rep tried her best to accomidate all of our needs.

Nachteile

We did alot of research on platforms for our conference. This was or first year going virtual. We wanted a platform that we could still have exhibitors and we wouldn't have to worry about the tech peice on our own. Sales told us that everything we wanted sounded perfect for V-Fairs and we signed with you. Then it was a good month or so before we heard back from V-Fairs. I was worried we were scammed out of our money. We had our rep and she was nice but her being in a different country made it hard to communicate. I knew we would never be able to get a response from her after 1:00pm our time. We mentioned everything we needed to the sales department and then later realized alot of that did not make it itno the contract. Alot of this I belive would have been clear if we had better communication. Also the training we had for speakers was to fast and confusing and left our speakers stressed so I had to do my own training to calm their minds.

Bringing 50K+ employees together

The experience was exceptional! Having a designated project manager kept the event on track and all issues were resolved in a timely manner.

Vorteile

The immersive 3D experience makes the conference feel real. This gives us the ability to connect over 50K Bell Team Members without the need for travel.

Nachteile

More opportunities to customize would always be appreciated.
