We recently had the pleasure of working with [sensitive content hidden] at vFairs for the National Philoptochos 2024 Convention, and we couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From start to finish, the technology available met all our needs seamlessly, ensuring our event ran smoothly.

Nachteile
Although we had a fabulous project manager who did everything, we did need to reach out to her every time, as the backend was not easy to navigate without detailed instructions. While we appreciate having a project manager, having an overview training session on each feature would have been nice. This way, the project manager wouldn't always depend on our timeline. As a small staff, it's sometimes easier to do a few things independently and then have the team edit.
Additionally, our daily schedule was put in as sessions instead of an agenda. We needed to be able to scan our attendees in only once per day, and it was hard at the event to find the correct session daily.
Each aspect of vFairs was customizable, which is great; as I said, we have a small office, so for certain features, it would have been nice to have templates to choose from or be advised ahead of time that because each aspect is customizable and needs to be built out, requires specific attention and a certain amount of time. Hence, a needs list for all features with a timeline for implementation. I would have planned better if I understood it better.

FCEDA Platform Experience Review
It was a great learning experience, and has cool features that elevated our events. However, we had a few issues with communications with our Project Manager. There were also a few glitches that really dissapointed us during the designing of the websites phase. It would be great to see vFairs expand the graphic designs, and templates implemented on the event websites for event administrators.
Vorteile
The customization capabilities, and control for email communication customizations pre, during, and post event. It's a nice elevated event experience for attendees.
Nachteile
The production turnaround time for certain features and graphic modifications. We were dissapointed to find out that a vFairs developer had to do the graphic updates/changes. We had to wait 1-2 days for that to get done. We were hoping to be able to control that, so it's a quicker turnaround update for our attendees, which really impacts the event outcome.

Great commitment to accessibility
For the second year running, we have had a very positive experience with vFairs. Ammemah and her team were incredibly responsive and know the product very well. Their commitment to accessibility is commendable

For the second year, vFairs were recently the host for NDI’s virtual Disability Owned Convening. Ensuring accessibility was the most important consideration for NDI when choosing the platform for this event. Right from the start, vFairs understood this and worked with us to ensure all features were accessibility as possible. We were very impressed with both their knowledge and commitment to being accessible. Additionally, Ammemah and her team were incredibly responsive, obviously know the platform insight out and provided excellent customer service

V-Fairs is GREAT!
My overall experience has been very easy and transformative for our food shows! They are accommodating to all of your ideas and flexible when needed. We have weekly meetings to help keep us all on our timeline. The team is very responsive as well.

V-Fairs is very accommodating and flexible! If you have a unique idea, they will make sure it happens! I also love how all of your previous events are saved. It makes the next event that much easier.

Still working on the negotiation/allowance side of our event. I would love for the vendors to have the ability to talk just to V-Fairs on questions instead of going through me as a middleman.

It was great. The team was friendly, [sensitive content hidden] was always very quick to respond and was so patient with all of our requests.

Using vFairs Saved My Company So Much Stress
The product is a 4 but my experience is a 5! [sensitive content hidden] answered all of our questions, and we had a lot of them, and quickly implemented any requests we made that were possible within vFairs capabilities.

The backend reporting. With Stova, we were able to pull reports to see who was sent the registration invite and more easily edit registrations, if need be.

V-Fair at Food Centric Beachside
I went from concerned about implementation to satisfaction with the overall experience. Look forward to next year.

First time around with V-Fair and the entire process went perfect. From initial set up of allowances to actual staff being present for registration of our customers. Each V-Fair associate was professional and attentive to our needs.

More training for our associates and vendors. When something is new, there is hesitation. Must create a user-friendly approach to this new technology.

SCA 2025 Virtual Conservation Career Fair a success due to continued partnership with VFairs
An overwhelmingly positive experience with the VFairs team and platform. Their project management, personability, and technical support is phenomenal.
Vorteile
The team at VFairs, Hamda, Sidrah, and Faha,has been absolutely outstanding to work with. Their responsiveness to our organization's needs is exceptional, and they go above and beyond to ensure we have everything necessary for a seamless and successful Virtual Conservation Career Fair. Their professionalism and attention to detail have made all the difference in creating a smooth experience for us. The platform itself is amazing, too, allowing easy use and an engaging experience for our attendees and exhibitors.
Nachteile
Needing to understand how to best utilize the platform updates earlier on - there were a lot of great updates this year that I should have had a better hold on before the fair.

If you need a virtual platform - look no further!
Overall, our experience with vfairs was great. The is consistent support and guidance. We met with our account manager weekly for months and they were always attentive and supportive of our needs. Truly an amazing company with wonderful people! I would recommend the to anyone who needs to plan a virtual or hybrid event.

Vfairs offers an account manager to step you through the entire event planning process on their platform. They help support you as much as you need. When we were new to virtual event planning, vFairs coached us and guided us to help us make the best possible plan for our event.
Nachteile
Our event planning sometimes is a little complex and there were some hiccups that we would have liked to avoid but all in all - it was not anything that would dissuade us from continuing to use vfairs for all of our virtual or hybrid events in the future.

Another super successful virtual event!
Since the COVID-19 pandemic we've worked with vFairs on multi-day hybrid events
Vorteile
[sensitive content hidden] and his team are always willing to help - and quickly. We push the vFairs system to its absolute limits packing it with just about everything you can think of - we wouldn't be able to do what we do without vFairs!
Nachteile
Sometimes I wish they weren't so helpful ;) which is a great problem to have - as you can't keep adding more and more to an event - just because it leads to more work on my end, but that being said they are incredible to work with!

The overall experience was phenomenal!! The service provided by vFairs was exceptional. Our program area will certainly be encouraging our organization's leadership to continue using the services provided by vFairs for large in-person events.
Vorteile
I very much appreciated that the attentiveness given to our organization as we prepared for our event. The quick turnaround time on requests made regarding the landing page and website was incredible. The project managers assigned to us were insightful and creative. I loved how the vFairs team made themselves available to us to ensure we met our goals. The scheduled check-in meetings were great. This allowed our team to ask questions and for the vFrairs team to demonstrate different features on the landing page and app, as well as on the backend. Thanks to vFairs we were able to elevate our annual in-person event. As an organization we received positive feedback from attendees on the vFairs experience from registration to using the app onsite.
Nachteile
There was a minor glitch with the evaluation feature. It auto populated from previous evaluations that were completed. The vFairs team resolved the issue right away. Our team should have done testing prior to the event to sure that everything was working properly in advance of the event.

Great virtual event platform with top customer support
Vorteile
We used the vFairs platform to organize a virtual property show with a number of external exhibitors. Exhibitor setup is very straightforward and we are also able to demo all the event's features ahead of the live event which helps with the preparation process for exhibitors. Attendee access and segmentation was straightforward and allowed us for more customisation of the messages sent in the event. The customer support is on point and was crucial for us in delivering a successful event. [sensitive content hidden] ensured all our requests were picked up and resolved on time. We are looking forward to doing the next event with the team!
Nachteile
For marketing communications and booking chat slots ahead of the event, we require external links redirecting to a specific virtual stand or a simplified chat booking system that doesn't involve individual stands. This is not currently possible so, we use an external chat booking system. It would be great to see some solutions in place in this area.

Great service, helpful, excellent event
Really positive, they were a helpful, innovative team to work with who listened to what we had to say and carried out changes and the creation of the event how we wanted, with [sensitive content hidden] being a standout person in managing it all.

Event Mobile Apps for Everyone
Vorteile
I liked that the mobile app was customized for both the association and its attendees. Even though all components did not fit our needs, vFairs was flexible enough to work with us and make an app that would allow us and our attendees to process & deliver information needed. Our Project Manager was very helpful and quick to implement updates needed in order to make sure the app was completed and LIVE in time for our event.

I would have preferred to be able to make updates on my own to the app but in the long run it all worked out.

Excellent experience utilizing vFairs!
Overall, our experience was largely so excellent because of the work we did with our Project Manager, [sensitive content hidden]. She was a continuously reliable source of information and support as we put the event together, so the event truly wouldn't have happened without her. We can't wait to hopefully work with her again in the near future!

The vFairs platform was incredibly easy to use for our virtual career fair event this year! We love that its features allow participants to feel that they're gaining all the benefits of attending a career fair without physical/distance barriers to attending one. The ease of use was, again, a major highlight, but the backend support we had in making the event happen was phenomenal. We can also pull valuable analytical data from this event, which makes a huge difference for the work our organization does!

Amazing customer service and easy to use

We switched over to vFairs in the fall of 2022 and it's one of the best decisions we've made. Let's talk about customer service first. From day 1, [sensitive content hidden] has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He is extremely knowledgable and was able to walk me through every step of the process. The timeframe to turn around our first virtual event was very short, but [sensitive content hidden] support throughout the entire build made the process so efficient and quick. He's very responsive and is always happy to support our efforts. I can't say enough good things about him - top notch customer service. Next let's review the platform. Prior to vFairs, our old platform was very clunky and it took so much time to set up an event. When I started working on the vFairs platform, I noticed the difference immediately. The amount of time it takes to build out an event is a fraction of what it was taking me on our old platform, and the user interface is so simple and easy to use. I love how our virtual booths are displayed to attendees and I'm even more impressed with how the agenda is presented on the landing page and within the environment.
Nachteile
I wouldn't say I dislike this about vFairs, it's more a "I wish I could do this" type of feedback. I wish I could easily update room templates on my own without bothering [sensitive content hidden] with that kind of request. He's very quick to get our requests in the queue when we do want to make changes, but it would be nice to be able to make the updates on our own.

Fantastic Customer Service
If it wasn't for the amazing [sensitive content hidden] addressing our last minute and I mean last minute panics from our end then I think I wouldn't have slept at all. [sensitive content hidden] went above and beyond to help us achieve and deliver our LAWW with no errors on time and within budget

Hard to find something to dislike, but perhaps more an area for improvement over time is the chat function from Teams if embedded in platform, but minor for the whole experience our users received.

The platform was appreciated greatly by our audience, and we received positive feedback throughout a consequent survey sent to everyone. We are planning a first year conference in a virtual environment. vFAIRS has been there every step of the way with us, even though we've been working out a lot of logistical details on our end. As someone with a web development background, I am more comfortable with a lot more backend control, but for the average user I think the platform is perfectly suited.

The vFairs team is amazing, and the platform is a lot of fun!
It was fantastic, and our event went off without a hitch! The platform has the ability to do email sends, surveys, and more, which saved my marketing team from having to do those themselves. Our whole team, and even our customer speakers raved about the support from the vfairs team, and how well the event ran.

From the very beginning we were given focused support with plenty of training and assistance to pull off a major event in a short period of time. The platform and service are solid but, what sets vFairs apart are knowledgeable support team members and individualized handholding. Truly bar none!

To say the support received is the best would be a gross understatement. Many products and platforms offer exciting and engaging virtual experiences but the individualized and immediate support we receive with vFairs has left us totally impressed.

We are able to customize several aspects of the platform but there are a few minor items that would help ensure a flawless event. Nothing critical but as an example, a hybrid admin/attendee persona would be helpful for us.

I've shared this feedback with our Project Manager, Hibba, and she's been very open to the feedback and eager to problem solve to improve the user experience and actionize on the feedback.

3 Years of Phenomenal Service
This is my 3rd year planning and executing a 1k person event on the vFairs platform. For the first two years, my event was a single day. While still challenging and full of details, this year, the event had multiple moving parts and the addition of 2 more days. We also had 26 workshops. vFairs helped us solve the problem of how to hold an educational conference for healthcare professionals and consumers during and after pandemic shutdowns. By hosting a hybrid event we kept the in-person element of community building and networking along with the online element of easy international access without travel. vFairs provided a fun and easy to navigate platform for our attendees for a very reasonable price.

We found their team to be highly skilled, professional, collaborative, fast responding, and a pleasure to work with. Throughout the entire planning and execution process we felt well taken care of.
Nachteile
The vFairs platform is highly customizable; it can be intimidating for inexperienced event planners to create the online platform with content and images. We appreciated the options to use standard templates and the help from our project manager in keeping things moving along when we were paralyzed by decision making fatigue. There were more tasks to setting up the event than we originally thought. The first year using vFairs we left too much to the end and were under pressure finishing.

That all changed when we were introduced to vFairs. They worked with us on securing a price that we could afford and offered a dedicated team to assist with app construction, organization, and deployment. Ammemah was WONDERFUL to work with. She had a great team that was highly attentive to our needs, provided clear and timely feedback/responses, and met with our planning team on a regular basis. The app was a big hit with our conference attendees and we look forward to making it even better next year!

Overall, we have had a very positive experience with vFairs. Our Project Manager took so many things off our plates that we would have had to handle directly ourselves with other apps, that it ended up creating a huge improvement in our work quality of life!

She frequently astonishes us with the speed with which she responds to our requests.We previously used Pathable as our mobile app, prior to its being sunsetted by Community Brands. We loved it, and it was heartbreaking when they shut it down. But our heartbreak has been tempered because while vFairs isn't perfect, it's an outstanding app that has a very user-friendly back-end that makes updating the app a breeze. On top of that, [sensitive content hidden]
helps take care of a lot of the data entry work that we would otherwise have done ourselves with any other app, which has been a real boon, freeing up time in our schedules for other work around our events.The fact that vFairs can link up with Cvent (which we have used as our registration platform for ages) is also a HUGE plus. I frequently say that Cvent has the best customer service of any organization I have ever worked with. But vFairs definitely gives them a run for their money - they are neck and neck for the top spot!

The app itself is a little clunky on the user side. Also, pairing up the QR codes from the attendees we imported to vFairs from Cvent, with the name badges that we generated directly out of Cvent.While to some extent this was an issue we didn't adequately communicate to our attendees, they also expressed confusion and frustration with the QR code scanning, as they didn't understand that for them to connect the information in their vFairs app profiles with sponsors, exhibitors, and other attendees, they had to scan WITHIN the app, rather than simply using their phone/device cameras to scan the codes. It makes sense to us, having worked in the back end of the app and understanding what information is connected to what, but it took a fair amount of explaining to get that across to our attendees.
