Lever is a great ATS - functional and great value for money
[sensitive content hidden] was an amazing implementation specialist and project manager, he made sure that everything was smooth and answered all of my questions. It's been a really positive and enjoyable experience.
Vorteile
I like Lever's scheduling tool the most. I also like the home page interviews, approval requests and feedback dashboards.
Nachteile
I wish that we could buffer time slots between calls and limit how many calls can be scheduled in the easy-book link per day.

Lever ATS Review
Overall, I have had a good experience with Lever, however, it leaves a lot to be desired compared to the other more modern Applicant Tracking Systems out there.
Vorteile
I like Lever because of its ease of use.
It's also great for bulk candidate management, especially for those who handle volume roles.
It also has integration with a lot of job boards which leads to a good flow of applicants.
Nachteile
The reporting module is not the greatest, we have had to integrate it with another app for reports.
It also lacks a lot of automation, which can be a downside for busy recruiters.

Great implementation!

Enjoyed Using
Very positive. Implementation was very easy and the support team was great.
Vorteile
I really enjoyed user Lever. It has tons of features for DE&I. Our managers loved using it as well and it really streamlined our recruiting efforts. Scheduling through the Office integration was also great.
Nachteile
Compared to others, Lever was pricey but we felt it was worth it. The software runs very smoothly, never had an issues, and was very easy to use. Top of our budget but we got what we paid for in my opinion.

Painful enough to leave my first review on anything work related
Based on the above am clearly not very happy. That said, I have only used Lever and Greenhouse (which is far far better). I feel like some negative grump leaving this review, but in 4 months I have wasted hours trying to get feature requests, figuring simple things out like specific plans for certain roles, only to find it literally isn't an option.I feel like they have given up on this, it could be so much better, get a small team with proper UI/UX skills and it could be a really good ATS.

It looks ok, isn't slow, I like the font.Customer service is actually good (although feature requests don't get completed).
Nachteile
No point in listing everything or I'll be here for days, I've already flagged them as feature requests months ago and not heard anything back. This ATS, whilst fast and not completely useless is just so painful in so many ways, the amount of illogical UX/UI that has been put into this is baffling - the main outstanding one being that jobs and candidates are kept in separate channels... what!?- Can't format feedback forms.- Any interview plan you set up is duplicated across ALLjobs.. you can't have specific plans for specific roles, are you kidding me right?- Can't turn off email notifications for reminding to submit feedback, even though there is a notification options in settings (missing the option).- When you are rejecting/archiving people if you type out an email and accidentally click off it's all deleted and does not save, this happens with other parts as well (if you just send a norma email it does save).- Want to return to the candidate after leaving feedback? You have to open a new tab.- Scheduling feels like someone doing A level comp science has built it, basic and not efficient. - No customisation settings - sorry, deal with the grey, bleak looking system (other than the font).- Don't get me started on the analytics, it's so poor.

Smart ATS + CRM tool
We went through the implementation led by [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and that was superb. Overall the customer care is strong and I like the product.
There are several features that Lever should work on so it fits better organizations of a larger scale (1000+) as some of the workflows are just not granular enough.

GDPR options are very simple, we need them more advanced as a EU based company
user roles - too simple for us, again we would need to have them more granular
email/interview templates - it would be great if these could be preset based on the interview name/type - it would save a lot of time to search through templates
department/team set up - as this affects the entire system and automation it is very hard to set it up correctly, as we are an organization of larger scale, it is just not enough granular for us
job offer approval set up - again not granular enough for us

Great candidate-centric ATS.
Overall we're really really happy with Lever. It's a huge improvement to our last ATS and will be critical in our next stage of growth. It's really a well-designed system.
Vorteile
Our company operates similarily to a recruiting agency, which means we tend to hire for the same job on an ongoing basis, as opposed to hiring one or two candidates, then closing the job. Because of this, Lever helped us understand that we need a candidate-centric ATS, as opposed to a job centric ATS. This is a critical distinction when evaluating ATS, and is why we selected Lever over other systems.
The best feature is the global pipeline view that you see when you first log in. It makes understanding the pipeline really easy. And you can filter it down by job, recruiter, etc. which is also really helpful. It's really the best UI / UX of any ATS pipeline that we've seen.
We also really like the tagging and automation tools. Also the tight linkedin integration is nice. Oh, and two-way email sync with gmail is a critical feature for us that not all ATS have.
Nachteile
The reporting can be a little hard to understand at times. It doesn't have a direct integration with indeed, zip recruiter, or other job boards, so job distribution isn't as good as our last system (workable). But we're making it work.

We switched to Lever from Ghire to automate and improve operational tasks, customize flow and recruiting stages and for better candidate experience as well.
I would like to admit that everyone at Lever were very friendly and wanted to help. We were pleased to cooperate with the Account executive - [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], when we decided which ATS to work with and sign a contract. Then, when we already set up the transition and data transfer to Lever, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] - Customer Success helped us and everything went very easily and as conveniently as possible for us. Thank you!
Vorteile
The system has a lot of different possibilities in order to do outbound and inbound search, many different functions - it is convenient change the candidates stages. I really liked that we can configure everything for yourself, customize almost every step.
Nachteile
Would be great to have offer approvals without Docusign. Other cons aren't discovered :)

Easy to use, not the most flexible/customizable functionality
Vorteile
It is extremely easy to use, and the customer support team is great. Candidates also do not have to go through a lengthy application process or use a complicated interface in order to submit their applications to us through Lever.
Nachteile
It is not easily customizable to your specific team's needs. Although, the Lever team does push updates on a regular basis that does improve the usability of the product, it still leaves a lot to be desired.

Lever makes staying organized easy.
Vorteile
Tracking candidates, keeping them informed, staying organized, and scheduling group interviews are all jobs that Lever does better than any other method I've tried. Interview scheduling — especially group interviews — works so well and instills a lot of confidence every step of the way that I've actually used their interface as an example of how to execute great interface design.
Nachteile
I wish I could customize the interview phases to match our actual process. For example, there is an "onsite interview" step that really just means "final interview" for us. It seems leftover from an era when interviews were almost or usually done in-person. That's almost never the case anymore.

The easiest way to manage recruitment processes
I'm glad that my company invested in ATS like this. All my work is so much nicer and easier! I feel like someone remembers things that would be hard to manage by my own. I feel like it helps to organize better and moreover it increases an effectiveness.
Vorteile
I really appreciate how intuitive the software is. Also, it's very handful for every recruiter - I don't need any assistant to remember about meetings, candidates who prefer contact in the couple next months etc.
I had a chance to create my own steps of the recruitment process and templates, I have all data in one place! Lever also cares about GDPR and job board which is beyond helpful.
Nachteile
I would love to have a "freeze option" which would be very nice in case of a process which is stopped for a while.

Most efficient Application Tracking System for end-user
Vorteile
I love Lever : managing my applications could not be easier. In few clicks, you can organize applications, reject or approve them and plan next-steps with candidates.
Referral feature is also well built. You can refer a candidate in few seconds, link it to a job then post it and track their status!
Nachteile
Everything is clear for me. I don't have the administrator part, only the end-user and that's perfect. Our executives are fully satisfied of Lever.

Awesome platform!
We've been using Lever at Distil for a little over a year and I cannot imagine ever transitioning to another ATS. Lever is very easy to use, it's intuitive and sleek. Best thing is - even our hiring managers and tech guys love using it! The only advise I would give them is keep doing what you are doing!

Lever New User
My overall experience with Lever is very positive. I have experienced other applicant tracking systems and this one is much easier to use for the company and the candidate. I would encourage companies to look into this system if they are seeking a different software.
Vorteile
I like the simplicity of the software. Candidates can easily just upload their resume and it's done. I have heard many complaints before about how tedious it is for people to apply for jobs. This software makes the user experience much easier.
I also like how you can message other people, such as hiring managers, inside the candidates profile to bring awareness to the candidate or something on their profile. That is a cool feature.
Nachteile
What I like least is that it was sending our emails to candidates spam. It took us a while to figure it out, but we did.

Overall, our experience was good - but not worth the investment to purchase a subscription at our current size / hiring schedule.

Very easy to use and integrate with existing job postings. Makes it easy to streamline applications, tracking + more into one source of truth.
Nachteile
Doesn't work for the majority of early stage (or cash scrappy) startups unless they're perpetually hiring. For companies hiring 3-4x a year at different times, the cost is often not worth it.

Managing Recruitment at Ease
We save major time using LEVER integration and by design the platform is flexible that can fit to our propitiatory recruitment process that we already have. Furthermore, with the report menu on the apps it allows the recruitment team create analyst, see the bottleneck and comes up with key strategy to improve the process We truly high recommend Lever to all !!

Great Product
We just completed our implementation and so far are very happy with Lever. My team has only been using it for a few weeks and already feel very comfortable with it. Each week we hold office hours to ask questions, and this week there were no questions.

Efficient SaaS tool to manage and track candidates
