Its everything all rolled into one! The convince of having your time clock, payroll, schedules, HR leader boards, and so much more all in one easy and user friendly interface has so many advantages!

It is easy to use, and the mobile app is great to have for employees. Employees can clock in and out through the app as well.

I think the reporting should be named better. There are some reports with similar names, and you have to go through the whole process and download before seeing what the report looks like.

What I like about paylocity is being able to clock in from my phone, having access to my work schedule, and just being able to have anything pertaining to my job all in one app.

What I like least is it does take some time and exploration of the app to learn where everything is and to properly navigate the app.

The visual appearance. For the most part, things LOOK professional.

Everything else. Every part of the system is built to look like it works, but it all stops there. It's like a carboard cutout. Yeah, it looks like a person, but from every other perspective, there's NOTHING there.

As a company, we love the ease of use and features the platform has. If you want to build it out, it has so much capability.

The one thing we were disappointed about with Paylocity was that during the sales pitch everything had already been structured, built out, and polished in their test version. We wish the platform was more polished out of the box, or their implementation team should have been a bit more willing to build a robust system for us.

that hours are given in fractions and not in hours and minutes. Example 1.25 hours is not 1 hour and 25 minutes but 1 hour and 20 minutes. That is confusing for employees

Paylocity eliminated a need for a physical time clock. At my previous job, a line would form while employees were waiting to clock in/out and check their hours at a physical terminal, delaying the process for everyone. I am now able to clock in/out, monitor my PTO balance, and request time off on my app or from my work computer.

Nachteile

Haven't had any issues thus far. Even if I miss a punch by mistake, it is easy to correct within the app.

Ease of use, organized, ability to review networking and personal information in one. I like that it is connected to a time clock allowing me to view and estimate my checks. I like the communication that I am able to view between communities and coworkers.

Frequently having to change password. I dislike the lack of notifications/guides of when something is required. I dislike the ability to filter messages to my specific community, rather than all.

Paylocity is so easy to use. Our company uses it to manage our punches, time off, and overtime. The app is the absolute best and makes for quick punches as needed during our shifts. I also like how easy it is to make changes to incorrect punches.

Nachteile

Sometimes the app glitches, and it has to be refreshed in order to work. The website lags just a little bit as well.

I like being able to see my hours whenever I want. I can punch in and out on my phone. I can see if I am missing any punches.

What could be more convenient for employees to have a software that is "Self-Service Payroll". Monitor your own paycheck, download W2 and tax forms during tax season, look for your timesheet, request time-off. I like the peer management where they greet employees' birthday or years of service for the company. I also like that you can use it in Mobile App.

I least like the always request of changing password. I know it's for security purposes.

I like the ability for users to take control of their HR needs. Paylocity is easy to use, so we are able to control our individual payrolls, time off, expenses, and more.

Kayla city makes it easy to edit your punch time, And to include notes about the reason for the edit. This feature makes keeping easy and updates manageable.

Paylocity is easy to use, and provides a great Self Service Portal for employees to be able to track time and attendance, time off, HR announcements, and pay - amongst other things! Everything you need is easy to find, visually clean and organized, and self-explanatory.

There are times, when filling out the timesheet, that editing your times once entered can be finicky.

The onboarding process was seamless and user-friendly. It offers many great tools for new hires, such as access to information about company benefits, time-off requests, various company policies, and proper procedures. I was also pleased that I could see the profiles of everyone on my team, along with their "about me" sections and list of interests. This provided some fun talking points when we finally met in person.

I can't think of any serious complaints or concerns that I found when using this app.

The ease of everything being done in one place. I can view my paycheck breakout, I can edit my address and tax codes, update my checking account information and the % allocation of my paycheck between accounts, etc.

The one thing I can think of is that last year I updated my address in Paylocity and it didn't update my tax codes. I had moved from one state to another, and my paycheck didn't switch from taxing me from the previous state to the new one. I didn't realize this until reviewing my W2 once the year was done. I asked HR and they let me know that I have to flag to them when I change my email address so that they can go in and manually update the tax codes. I would think those should automatically update with the change of address, so that's my one recommendation!

Paylocity's mobile app is currently more limited in functionality than the desktop version. If the app were upgraded and expanded, the user experience would be more in line with that of the desktop version.

Paylocity is very simple and straight forward to use, from clocking in to managing you PTO and being able to fix missed punches or message your HR.

Maybe because it’s to simple and just plain and sometimes it logs you out completely where you have to resign in with information only your HR would know.

Paylocity makes processing payroll easy. I process payroll for 6 entities and Paylocity makes this an easy task by allowing data imports from POS systems for some locations and time & labor tracking within Paylocity for others. Additionally, all onboarding is done within Paylocity so no need for paperwork or saving employee legal documents outside of Paylocity.

Sometime customer service can be hard to reach for questions but they do eventually get back to you with resources.

I value the features that Paylocity offers with time keeping, w-2 and tax information, wages, time off requests and daily punches because they can all be easily accesses by each employee at their own leisure. The time keeping features are wifi (IP) address specific as to allow employees to clock in /out from their own devices on wifi.

Nachteile

The biggest issue I have with Paylocity would be that it rounds punches up or down depending on the actual minute on the hour. Let the minutes count for what they are. The app is also a disaster.
