It is easy to use. I like that I can quickly access the app on my phone.

Nachteile

I wish the punch option on the home page would always be the opposite of my current punch status. But that's not the case. (Sometimes the button says "clock in" when I am already clocked in. Then sometimes I accidentally submit the wrong punch. I can go and change that of course, but wish I wouldn't have to take that extra step.)

Our HR folks are constantly complaining about issues with payroll accuracy, QuickBooks integration errors, and late tax payments/reports. I have constant log-in problems with Chrome, Edge, and Firefox -- hope to resolve by implementing SSO.

I did not like anything everything was very complicated and did not work. Do not get this app until they fix it.

Every single aspect that I tried to use in this software did not work, it was so frustrating and took me so many more hours to complete and all of my co workers say the same thing.

My favorite feature about Paylocity is the mobile app. I'm not always near a computer or in my office, so having 24 hour access to all things payroll related is appreciated. It's simple to use, does exactly what it's designed to do and is not "glitchy." I don't have to punch in/out but many end users at the agency do as part of their daily activities. The "geo-fence" ensures they are where they say they are when they punch in/out. I use the time card in the mobile app directly, hand entering my time without issue. The app allows me to access just about everything in the system.

Nachteile

As the end-user, I haven't had any issues with Paylocity. I don't know what the supervisors think of timeroll reporting but I've heard no complaints. I'd love for Paylocity to be integrated with our electronic health record, but that's for HR and IT to address.

I like that I can totally track my pay, paystubs, employee communication, recognition and stay in the know when there is important things going on at work.

Sometimes I feel like I have to jump through hoops to reset my password. But I understand that there are confidential items in my account.

I like most how easy the portal is to use. I also appreciate how quickly customer service picks up each time that I call for support.

Nachteile

During implementation I would have liked more support with setting up my DBL/PFL and other feeds. I worked with 3 different specialists during implementation which made account set up feel delayed.

I really like the amount of information that you could access about your job, your payroll , PTO, and taxes, it was all there all I had to do, was logon and find it.

It might be just me, but I did not like how difficult it was to login and continue to login. I understand it’s peoples money and they have to have high security, but it was still a little clunky in my opinion.

It's pretty straightforward for the most part checking in and out. There's a place for everything. It has some cool community features that we unfortunately didn't really use at our company.

Some things were not as intuitive to use and took me a long time to figure out. Sometimes, navigating through times worked can be a hassle.

Sometimes it is hard to find the information I am looking for. It is also difficult to remember our company ID and this will not auto populate for the sign in page. This is very annoying.

Some items could be streamlined. A personal settings option may achieve this. If there was a light training video or two that introduces you to the options, that would be nice.

Access to everyone's records and time make it easy to work with multiple people at the same time on getting an issue solved. The physical time clock is great for all the employees to use. Correction was quick and easy for any clocking in error or HR issue. The transition of data from the other payroll software was done perfectly.

Nachteile

The issue of the first set up was terrible. We had a team to help us transition and get the set up for the system changed about three times before we could actually move forward. Running reports can also be hassle if you are looking for something specific.

I love how this platform has revolutionized my work and emotional life. What I like the most is its ease of use. I have never seen such an intuitive and friendly interface before. Everything is organized in a clear and concise way, which makes it extremely easy to navigate and use its different functions. I love the amount of features and tools it offers. I can manage my profile, log my hours worked, request time off, access my payroll history, and much more, all from one place.

I've had occasional problems with system stability. Sometimes the platform can become slow or even hang, which can be extremely frustrating when I'm trying to complete important tasks.

User experience is horrible. Filed claims get cancelled without notice, user profiles are changed but no info on the change is provided to the users (think - your username was changed by the company but they did not notify you). As such, you are pretty much forced to call customer support for anything from logging in to using any part of your benefits. Additionally, customer support has full, unfettered access to user names and passwords which is a major security risk. One rogue Paylocity employee could steal from many users with this vulnerability.

The home screen Dashboard is one of the best features of Paylocity. So many other programs make you dive through multiple menu levels, and Paylocity's overall design makes it easy for non-technical users.

Reporting didn't appear to be the easiest process. Generating a report took templates to be designed.
