Nifty has a great user interface that is lightning-fast, meaning I don't have to wait for data to load like I do in other apps. It is also very user-friendly, as all the tasks, task data, projects, etc., are easy to access and navigate. It is set up in an intuitive way that makes it easy to understand, and if you have used another project management app, the transition is minimal.

Honestly, I haven’t found anything I disliked about Nifty, but if you have a lot of tasks, the calendar views can become disorganized.

I really like this product for his integration of multiple tools, allowing us to work directly in the project. The UX and UI is excellent, they are also implementing new stuff regularly and the guest access is very generous compared to similar tools.

Lack of reporting or at least a way to build custom reports in the app, lack of a proper Gantt view can be an issue for some.

I have had such poor support across 2 brands using Nifty that has culminated in this thread: [sensitive content hidden] They essentially lack moral and ethical standards, and on top of that support takes weeks to months to sort anything. In my eyes, a good product ruined by the people behind it.

My biggest issue is partially my fault but also could be something I'm missing. One thing that would make the Kaban layout perfect would be to auto move tasks. If it's "In PRogress" and I check the box, have it automatically move to "In Review" and notify anyone that needs to review it. Instead I have to manually move it over and it never gets checked. I keep NOT using it because I want it to keep moving down the pipline.I keep ending up using note taking apps as thats a huge part of how I work. If there was a way to intergrate with craft.do and even have my note be attatched to different parts that would be great.

The amount of storage available is inadequate, and the UI is not particularly appealing. Many users would benefit from greater support for connecting via social media.

The subtasks are one of the most useful features. It can be easily accessed. Our editor can also visibly manage different tasks for the team. The comments and mentions buttons are also easy to understand. The software is simple, which makes it the best use for us.

The editing of task cards can be improved. One hover of the mouse pointer and it can be edited.

Nifty is quick to learn and easy to use. There are no hidden surprises or confusing layouts - everything looks and feels very intuitive. We use it as a partner to work with one of our suppliers, so it's used for both internal and cross company communication and collaboration - very easy to have discussions, tag team members and share project updates or questions as they come up. We've also used the Docs and Files features a lot too and they make file/document sharing super easy.

Nachteile

No real gripes - it works really nicely. Maybe the Tasks section could be easier to understand, or laid out in a different way (it feels more bolted on vs how we use something like Trello or Jira).

As a visual thinker and learner, the user interface and way that data and information is displayed makes planning and tracking projects much easier than what we were able to do in the past when our planning was done via Excel sheets.

The challenge with project management software is to find one that is easy enough to use yet has enough features that you can use it for everything you need. I've been looking for something that works with my brain and is both easy to use and pretty to look at. Between me and my team we have over 30 active projects and that could very quickly get out of hand. Sometimes we use Nifty on our zoom meetings so we are all looking at the same thing when we talk about what needs to be done next.

I wish there was a more satisfying task completion method. The checkbox is such a light grey and the completed tasks are hidden (although you can manually unhide them). I want a nice satisfying dopamine rush for a completed task and a big stack of completed tasks for me to admire. :-)

Nifty made the biggest impact for my needs by having a ready made template for my blog content workflow with automations which help my project run like clockwork. Project dashboards are also laid out well with important sections easy to access.

I appreciated that this software was web based so that I could log on to my computer OR through the app and communicate in a timely manner. I really loved that the entire editing team could see the advancement of the project in one place and I loved the ease of document storage and sharing. In addition, I loved that I could see the identity of the team members assigned to the project.

Nachteile

I was not very confident in the ability of a team member to see my "comments" or notes on a past conversation. In all fairness, I am not sure how the message shows up to the other members, as no one left me a comment on a past comment so I do not know how it is received but it didn't feel very efficient or evident.

The UI is simple, beautiful and it includes a dark mode.
I like that you have a homepage for each project where you can see all the assets of the project and how the project is going.
Projects are divided into 3 levels: Project > Milestones > Tasks. Milestones are great because you can divide the project and then focus on accomplishing those milestones that will lead you to finish the project.
You also have a workload timeline for checking if you have empty people or someone is overloaded.

Nachteile

Even if it's really solid, nothing is perfect, so here some points that would help to improve it:
- Adding a "help" icon/button in each task/subtask would be fantastic. We could link that button to our own documentation. That documentation would explain the process of how to accomplish that task.
That's especially useful for letting new employees how to accomplish something without needed to micromanaging them and also for not so usual tasks where forgetting details is easy.
- Emojis are cool, but please add gifs to the chat.
- Add task groups and task templates, not only project templates. That would give us more flexibility
- Need an easier way to go back to the projects tab from settings. I haven't found the way of doing it, so I need to go to my main URL into the browser tab. Maybe I'm missing something, but if it's that way it's annoying.
- Zoom integration is cool, but there are better options out there. Webhooks for integrating it with Integromat and our desired service would be the best.

As a team of five, we needed a tool that could help us manage our workload, keep track of the time we spend on our projects, assign tasks, and keep everyone in the loop about project updates. Nifty PM does all of this and more.One of the things I appreciate most about Nifty PM is its ease of use. The platform is intuitive and straightforward, making it easy for us to get started right away. We can create projects, tasks, and timelines quickly, and the interface is clear and easy to navigate. Additionally, the time tracking feature is incredibly helpful in ensuring that we're staying on track and meeting our deadlines.

Nifty has been great for getting our team organised and keeping track of projects. Before Nifty, we were using Discord to work on ideas but items would quickly get lost in chat. With Nifty, we're able to be much better organised and keep ideas contained with focused discussion to propel them forward.

Nifty is still growing and lacking some features and cross-project capability and automations as opposed to platforms like Monday.com. It's UI can also be rather restrictive, not allowing the user to perform certain actions but this is rare.

Client Project management isn't the easiest. I set up Projects as clients so I have them in an easy-to-locate spot. Then I duplicate Templates into those Projects. A bit of a workaround for something that should be easier perhaps.

I feel that one thing that makes Nifty really stands out compared to other project management tools is the Discussions feature. In other platforms, you typically get to communicate with others through comments you leave to tasks... not here! Think of a straightforward version of a tool like Slack – that's what Nifty's Discussions are. You can create threads, shares files and even turn exchanges into tasks.

Another aspect of Nifty I'm a fan of are Milestones: timeline view, custom fields, recurring milestones and many other features that A) give you an easy way to see all of your projects and B) enables you to become more efficient with your work output.

Nifty is limited to just a couple of views and this is something other project management platforms do offer.

I love the inuitive design. I use it to collaborate with my team of freelancers and everything is easy to use. No poking to find functions - everything is where you suspect it to be.

I found the Gantt project management style really helpful and intuitive. I love the fact that I can assign tasks to team members, have chats in real time and can conduct video calls via zoom within the software. Kaban view is extremely helpful as we move through projects.

This tool has almost every component needed in a PM software. For starters the unlimited guest and clients feature has been my most useful, also unlimited projects makes it even more exciting since you are not tied to a number. I can add as many tasks and milestones as i like and even more i am able to add recurring tasks that align to my milestones. Team chats makes it easier to stick to one communication channel and avoid opening 100s of email threads whenever we are discussing a project. Ability to add docs and files right in the project space is super useful. Finally, i can set my budget and this works as a reminder of how much i charged a client.

Sometimes when i use a pre-saved template completing the milestones is somehow impossible, navigating and ustilising all the features needs a bit of learning and it needs time to become really good at using the tool.

It is not hard to use, even for a complete beginner. The ease of use, the accessibility, and the graphical interface is what make the use of this software easier. The file-sharing, task management, tasks, and deadlines creation in various rows or however we want them, is a cherry on the top.

Sometimes, after we upload a file, it does take time depending on the internet speed but also takes time to show the uploaded file once the uploading has been completed. We need to refresh the entire page to see the recently uploaded files, which can get a bit irritating.

Nifty has done an incredible job of maintaining visually appealing UI, something that makes it not look like a cheap product. Functionality is very good as well. You're able to use major features with no issues and that shows reliability.

Some features could have been built-in, instead of requiring monthly payments. The Forms add-on is an example of that.

It was useful in that I had to use it for my illustrations and I had no choice. The illustrators I used to illustrate my book used it and Nifty is how we communicated. I did not know it had a video chat component. I would have asked to use it.

I found it somewhat hard to use it's functionalities. The illustration company knew the software well enough to train me but I did not know enough on my own which frustrated me.

I was given access to the software via a new client that I work with - and with it, I was able to quickly pick up on all tasks & projects they were currently working on, making my onboarding a lot smoother.

Bad onboarding - I had no idea of what to do when I started using it... Would be good to get instructions. (If I did get them via email, then they were lost somewhere, and didn't see them when I got my account.)
