I found that the software was VERY intuitive, but the main reason why I chose Demio is because the webinar viewer does not have to download software. I was also impressed with its integration into Convertkit.

Nachteile

On one of our three webinars, the signal kept dropping for viewers, and I believe this had to do with our wifi strength rather than the software. Not sure.

It's integration with Active Campaign and the ability to share Calls to Action.
You can trigger your own automations when people register to your event, when they attend it or even when they miss it. You can tag them and send them specific emails. Then you record your event (demio does it for you) and use it as a permanent saved webinar.

Nachteile

You can't help but compare it to zoom. In zoom, everybody can turn their cameras on and you get a feeling as if you where everybody together... Here, you can have 3 or 4 people max with their cams on.

This tool doesnt have several features. Like in some computers it shows up that you can share specific window screens. But in some computers again it doesnt let you do that. You only got to share the entire screen. Thats so painful in a webinar.

You cant turn off the chat.

They dont have an app for windows like Zoom. Zoom is way handy.

Most importantly, it consumes hell lotta internet bandwidth. Note, I am not talking about the internet storage, I am talking about bandwidth. Where Zoom is way better and a way light weight tool.

Like, while testing the connectivity, it will show you the connectivity is excellent. But while being in real time it will show up it is poor. That is painful.

Also you cannot pause your screen like you do in ZOOM. you got to disconnect it completely. Again painful. I continuously connect and disconnect, do you think that is something a trainer or host would prefer.

Like ZOOM would even load when the network is slightly slower. But demio doesnt give a damn, the webpage will not load itself, it would keep loading forever. Although it is ok in most of the cases, but ZOOM is way better in this coding aspect as well.

Overall I feel they are yet to come up with a better compatibility with network, computers and more.

1. The ease with which one can create an event for the webinar and make them live in less than an hour.
2. Email Notification - Customized notification and make them scheduled Jobs to reach the customers.
3. Landing Page and Optin - Very useful and quite easy to build and customize to a great extent.
4. Reporting and Dashboard - Very intuitive insightful reporting to know your participant's action.

Nachteile

1. Not Integrated with Payment gateway! I love to see this feature with seamless flow through opt-in page to the payment gateway to collect the payment!

I can not understand why their presentation quality is so terrible and how it is a thing for a webinar software! Our presenter have great internet, great computers and still their images are so pixelated and blurry!

The feature of uploading the power point presentation prior to the webinar is something that I don't quite get. Not sure if direct screen sharing works. If it works, I'm happy to use.

I used Demio on the recommendation of a client who had a great experience. My experience reflected theirs and I'm very pleased with the service. I've used a half-dozen services comparable to Demio over the last 4 yrs and can say Demio wins categorically in functionality, User experience, design, interface, pre and post webinar tools, ease of setup, analytics, integrations. It has it all.

Nachteile

The price is up there with the "big boys" and Demio punches above their weight class but I ultimately didn't want to spend >$200 for 500 users when It's something I use once-a-month on average.

We have been with Demio since the beginning and the company just gets better and better. We used to use Go To Webinar and had issues with every broadcast. Demio wins not just because of ease of use but also because of their fantastic customer support - they really do care. Every upgrade makes it just a bit easier to use and we can concentrate on presenting - not worrying about the platform letting us down!

I tried a lot of different webinar platforms and Demio by far, was the most up to date of them all. Its platform is incredibly easy to use and very pleasing to look at too. A lot of other webinar platforms are very dated.

A major plus for me (because I wanted to set up automated and evergreen webinars) was that Demio allows you to upload your video files directly to it. Other platforms I found force you to do a live recording and use that as your evergreen webinar. Either that or link an existing YouTube or Vimeo video which looks unprofessional and jarring in a webinar environment.

Nachteile

There are a few things I feel are missing from Demio. One is being able to send a replay link to people who attended on-demand or evergreen webinars so they can watch again if they missed it. Another is having the times listed when users register be visible in their local timezone. You can only set a timezone right now. So if you're in a different timezone to the person registering, they would need to work out the actual time of the webinar based on the time-zone displayed.

Having said this, Demio have brilliant support and when I flagged this with them, they added it to their suggested improvements area. You can then 'vote' for changes you'd like to see. So I have no doubt these changes will happen in the future.

It's in the little details like better and intuitive chat possibilities within Demio (at WebinarGeek everytime someone asks a new question, all their questions get removed to the end of the que for instance). That, and design of Demio is more beautiful for the attendee

Basically it did what I expected it to do and some more. Great email management. Screen presentation optimal. Easy to use though it's the first time I'm using it.

Nachteile

They have just added a feature to be able to invite up to 4 attendees on stage. I tried it once but it didn't work. I'm afraid I didn't try it the second time round but they said that they had fixed the problem. One of my attendees who attended on her telephone that she would have preferred to have seen me as well as the chat feature and not have to choose between the two.

It seems all fuss free. However if you find out that at least 10 people email you of your audience that they can't login administrators get kicked out of a live session that can't log back in and you get kicked out yourself of a live session. The questions remains, whats the point of the whole platform if it doesn't do the basic feature it meant to provide.

A live seminar where everyone can listen to a webinar. We have spend tons of money on marketing our webinar to find that Demio doesn't let them in or the connection to their server is poor. Not our internet connection their connection. Don't buy this product!

Being new to any software like it, I have found Demio to be intuitive and very user-friendly. What really has impressed me over and over again is the customer service. Live chats are answered quickly and professionally, and the representatives have been so patient and helpful! Thank you, Demio team!

I love the option of being able to to host pre-recorded content but stream it as if it were a live webinar. I like that you can also hide the number of viewers, which you can't on a live stream. It's also just super easy to use!

Pricing is a little out of budget for a small startup like ours. I wish the session limit was greater than 8 hours (and more than 5GB for the file size)

Demio is simple to use. Great pricing. My clients join via a browser so no need to download anything. Super-fast helpdesk client support. Idiot-proof, as I discovered as I disconnected myself as a presenter yesterday, and took just 30 seconds to reconnect. My viewers barely noticed.

Nachteile

I haven't bumped into any challenges worth mentioning. I had a seamless transition from working with GoToWebinar. (And after 10 years with GTW I expected a lot more learning curve.)

Reporting is done show by show. You can only view the list of students by a single session. I want to see a master list of all students who have watched one of my webinars.

It’s like driving a car... you have to learn and it’s complicated, but once you do, stepping on the gas, on the breaks, stirring the wheel... it all just comes natural and all your brain cares about is your destination. That’s how I view and review what I use for my business. I’m not techy, I’m not in the software business, I just want to talk to my audience online, to present my work, to sell through webinars and to have meetings woth a remote team across the globe. I don’t care about anything else and I will remember your brand because you made me forget it when I needed to focus on my destination.

I love the simple web-based platform that Demio offers. It is clean and easy for others to use that are not tech savvy. I have alot of clients that are older, and this we-based platform is a big win. No downloading of apps needed, it just works.

Nachteile

the price for a room of 500 was high, understandably, and I need that large room size when running the live webinar masterclasses. That was the one sticking point. But I was very glad I purchased it, because I needed the space. Demio delivered with a robust platform.

I had been seeking a webinar support program that would allow me to pre-record and engage with clients, and Demio was the perfect fit. I'm not techy and I had a TON of questions, but the online chat feature with customer service is hands-down the best I've experienced. That was what did it for me. Great product, user friendly, and a good price. I converted my first ever online sales using Demio ONE TIME. Highly recommend.

Nachteile

The "how to use" videos were hard to see (small on the screen) and some of the features aren't as intuitive as I'd expect, but because the customer service is so great, you can ask them and it's fine.

That I can't reopen a Live event once it was closed (by mistake).
