Nachteile

The only minor drawback is that the platform can feel a bit limited when dealing with advanced multi-channel marketing across SMS and push notifications. While it covers email marketing exceptionally well, some more complex features or integrations with other channels could benefit from further enhancement.

I would like to be able to see orders from all campaigns and automations in one place. I find it is a bit of work to jump between all the active automations and recent campaigns to see which one drove sales. Ease of use, segmentation builder is great, overall the flow of working in Omnisend is much smoother than in other similar platforms. I can get stuff done fast and easy. Unique discount codes are easy to create and use in campaigns and automations. SMS is cost-effective with their Pro plan.

Nachteile

Omnisend lacks some advanced/situational features that you need once in a blue moon, but their team is very receptive to feedback so I use every chance I get to share feedback with them and help improve the product. The only major area where I feel it is lacking compared to other similar platforms is reporting & analytics - but as far as I know it is on their roadmap for Q4 to improve this.

We have a high-ticket item and decades-lasting product. Our products are things that men hand down to sons. So having to keep my contacts so strictly under 1% disengaged if very trying. We only send to people who willingly sign up and it takes me longer each week to keep these contacts something that Omnisend wants it to be than a collective 6 months of writing email content!

Price for performance doesn't come close to anyone. I think it is right there with Klaviyo but it is a lot cheaper. So that would be the part. Also i ti quite simple to use and to set up. The support is also very responsive but somethimes they don't have all ther right answers. But nevertheles they are there to help.

My least favorite feature is that i can't search by phone number in the contacts but you have to create a segment. I think the search needs a little work.

Omnisend is a great tool for building email campaigns that match your brands image - you can edit emails with their easy to use templates which is a great tool. YOu can change everything from fonts, to color ways - add and remove block of information and send test emails. Marketing analytics are a great way to see what informations customers are responding to - very helpful in know what works for future ad campaigns.

Nachteile

I wish it was a little bit cheaper to use - or if there was a feature to pause a subscription for periods when emails are not being sent.

I chose Omnisend initially because of its strong ecommerce features linked to Shopify. I like the ease of including product links directly in my emails. Secondly I like the SMS feature.

It seems like too many of my emails get lost in my customer's spam folders. However, Omnisend offers suggestions to improve this. The only one I haven't figured out yet is how to send from my own domain to make my deliverability better.

It is very easy to use and I am able to drag and drop different sections into my email which allows for easy customization. I can easy duplicate previous emails to keep the template that I have used in the past. There are also new templates that I can choose from if I am stuck. Good price for everything that it offers and it links to my website.

The product is easy to use and set up. What I would most recommend is the excellent customer service, that I cannot compliment enough. The team is very helpful and has been with me through all issues over the years.

The reports could be done better. I would like it if they were customisable, and some features are lacking for no apparent reason. For example, when reporting on Campaigns, you can see the amount of sales generated through Omnisend Campaigns and the average order value, but not the amount of orders. Conversely, when looking at the same report for Workflows, you can see the amount of orders.

The UI could also be done better, as I feel there is a lot of wasted space that makes things harder to read / see than they should be.

I really do appreciate the live visitor feature, as it lets me see who and how many potential customers are interested in a specific collection or product.
I usually use the same template, less time spend on trying to figure out is any link is live. Time is money as they say, plus what's familiar, is easy.

I like to see when new signups happen. See their info to give them a special treat with their shipment. At the moment I don't see that option, though it may just be me not the system. As I say, I don't have much time to explore.

Our favorite part is the dedicated account manager - Sydney! She is always looking for ways for us to optimize and helps with any issues that come up! I love having one person who helps us with projects rather than feeling like you are lost in a cog with many other programs/companies.

Would love more segmentation options, but software is awesome overall!One thing I would love to improve is just having a drop down for time when scheduling a campaign. The current time selector is very sensitive and easy to make a mistake on. Perhaps splitting date and time into two drop downs.

I was a beginner at email marketing and still feel like I am, but Omisend makes me feel like I can get the job done. We love the templates and the drag & drop features. User-interface is very friendly. Most functions are self-understandable, very easy to use. With each update they bring significant improvement that makes the monthly subscription to this app really worth the money.

Settings for marketing automations still have a lot to desire. especially regarding contact management and audience management in each campaign/automation. It is not intuitive. That makes it quite time-consuming to say the least to set up automation flow. There should also be more templates and customisable columns especually for forms.

The updated email builder functionality is great and makes adding and saving templates much easier. The stats are clear and laid out well in graphs and charts to compare to previous months. Plus, compared to some other CRM providers the cost is reasonable, especially for the functionality provided.

Some segmentation can be tricky. Also, we had an issue where one bounce from a newsletter we sent resulted in a lot of our emails subscribers being automatically unsubscribed, despite many of them having opened ALL of our previous emails. We had to add them back in manually and it was not possible to find out what had caused that bounce on just one of our newsletters.

Email marketing has always been one task I love to avoid because I thought it required a lot of settings. When I got introduced to Omnisend, it has been a relief. I love its simplicity and it doesn't require setting ups. Its quick to start with and most importantly its user friendly. Omnisend allows me to grow my business through email marketing and also have the ability to build landing pages.

Nachteile

It would be great to have RSS integrated email for blog posts. It would also save time to tag your group of customers instead of creating a separate list.

Not Bad... I like the product and have been using it for 2 1/2 years - and I signed up originally because the price was great, but now, I don't love the platform for the price they now charge. The company raised the price significantly this past year... when I say significantly, I mean close to 400% -- and nothing really really changed for the price increase. I would have switched platforms actually because I don't like the following features, or lack thereof for the price they now charge:

- Lack of themes like pre-built Black Friday, Holiday, Cyber Monday, etc themes
- You have to re-fill in your social media information each/ every time you send a new email campaign
- Email templates they do have are somewhat dated, and are not fresh/ modern

When we started the business, we wanted an alternative from mail chimp. We can scale and grow with omnisend. They have updated the email builder, which needed to be done. The automation and pop-up forms have gotten us a lot of customers. The platform is just very user-friendly. In addition, they have a phenomenal blog and great customer service.

We had a few issues in the beginning when we were on a lower tier with omnisend. We would just cast a big net to all of the subscriber emails we collected. This worked well, but omnisend has an issue with it because of a few bounced emails. I don't think we should've been at fault for customers either using a fake email or making a spelling mistake. Anyway, we reached a higher tier, and it wasn't an issue anymore.
