Provides local leads for design build remodeling and is able to segment out contractors by the type they are so that leads are more qualified.

Inability to connect with the customer immediately - the phone calls and text messages never transfer. Must call client back and at that point they may have already spoken to 3 other contractors.

Add to that the fact that it seems Office and Mac and QuickBooks all want to organize my life as well, and I did not request any of it, and it seems I am jumping through needless hoops to get simple tasks done everywhere I turn.

And this interface is not particularly intuitive. Once my rep explains stuff, it's like, "Oh, ok! That's useful!" But these tasks probably help Houzz track me more than it helps me track me.

The best part about this program is that my estimates and invoices looks really professional. Another features keeps my clients updated every day about the project work process and they can easily interact with us.

We are not able to accept online payments from the clients by bank transfer yet here in UK.

The software reaches a board audience with an algorithm designed to place your photos and services to a customer based on the amount a company wants to pay. It's like buying TV time in a super bowl ad. For this purpose it serves as a ad campaign . You really are buying space on the website.

Nachteile

The down side to the software is it has allot of bells and whistles that seem great like the CRM and project management but do not get used if you do not have allot of traffic or customers. Once you get a lead, you MUST call and email numerous times to get the attention of the customers. There is allot of tire kickers which make it difficult to manage time to whom the real serious customer is within the leads. The answer from Houzz on this problem is the old school mentality of relentless calling of the lead. It would be nice to see a change to the software to weed out the less serious customers . The service offered is good in theory but is expensive if I have to constantly email and call a customer that really is not interested .

The only thing that I would currently change about the program is the process of deleting proposals from the system. They are easily changed but even after calling customer service, the old proposals still remain on my account .

It's a great place for home owners to find professionals. It does generate leads as houzz attracts a lot of traffic. Does a great job of showcassing a companies projects

The leads are often times confused when we contact them. A lot of times the leads we get are just generic leads that must get sent to multiple proffessionals because customers seem to be caught of guard when we contact them.

A ton of bathroom leads which are okay but we really are looking for Kitchen leads

I like the look and ease of the website. I also really like the CRM tool so far, I have a lot more to learn so it's hard to say what my favorite things will be.

floor plan feature is difficult to use, manually entering dimensions should be able to be done. In our other design program, we are able to manually enter dimensions on a cabinet and it will create that size in the workspace, with this you have no way of getting it to the correct spot without slowly trying to move the walls manually which leads to issues getting things perfectly symmetrical.

The features that I like most are of course the profile and sharing of current projects and past projects so easily. It is so easy for a customer to just go on the website and choose their designer based on their portfolio in comparison to their own needs.

Some software products that can be improved are the back office and managing the different outsourcing and insourcing software there is available. I just feel like it is a lot and easy to get lost but I am still learning the platform to say the least!

I like that it is so easy to communicate with potential clients and once the lead converts to a paying client I can easily transfer the clients information to Ivy.

Not that I know of. I started my business and last Feb and have been with Houzz Pro since so I don't know how to answer that at this time.

We like the level of information provided with the Pro software to navigate and process inquiries.
It is an easy tool to use when needing to refer to it. It's a great way to introduce clients to interact on the Houzz Ideas platform which is very helpful.

I haven't any real criticism of the software as it been good and I don't have anything to compare it to at this stage. The only criticism is that I'm still getting a few scammers come through - I've had two last year that presented as real client enquiries who weren't. Also I've had a few enquiries that aren't for my services offered. So perhaps refining some of the filters will eradicate this?
For some unknown reason the enquiries still go to my spam folder, even though we have Houzz in my contacts folder.

I love that we can showcase our work on a platform that is pertinent to what we do. People go there specifically for inspiration and professionals that have to do with Home. So we aren’t just out on the web among a billion other types of industries.
