Its easy to use. Its easy to message a potential client.

I wish you could copy and paste the customers information especially the phone number. I typically get the lead and then have to text it to my scheduler. If I could copy and then paste the information in a text message it would make life much easier.

The client referrals portion. It gives potential clients the opportunity to do better research before considering a builder.

I don't care for the concierge portion.

I love the simplicity of Houzz. The fact that you can navigate through the site with ease as well as having an account manager to ask any questions!

I do not like the messaging aspect. I wish it was a bit more user friendly, in the sense of having any unread messages being bolded so they stand out better. Also being able to read back through the previous messages could be more clear.

Using Houzz Pro has really changed how I create my estimates, how I manage my timelines with team members.

The website feature was really my game changer. Having an online presence has really increased the amount of clients that call and request an estimate on their project from me. Showcasing my client reviews really makes sure you go that extra mile for your clients.

Nachteile

So far so good! I needed extra tutorials but that's part of the learning curve with new software and a not so tech savvy customer.

It gives me everything in one. I can send estimates and have tools for helping me with estimate. There are tools with helping me to track my time and also many many learning tools.

Its an expensive tool and honestly when doing an estimate there is almost too much information when trying to do a tool.

We started around June 2019 with Houzz and have been very well looked after by our Client Success Manager from the inception. She is exceptional! We have won many projects from Houzz and love using the app to stay on top of our leads and send templated initial messages quickly. We get small courtyard gardens to design and construct to larger front and back gardens. We love that there is such a variety. No day is the same. Thank you, Houzz. We are very grateful.

This makes great mood boards, beautiful proposals and invoices, is super easy to use and fairly seamless to integrate with Quickbooks.

There are occasions when the QB interface goes awry but it is usually quickly fixed by customer service.

The doll house view on the iPad Pro is a bit tricky - have a hard time navigating. Also not able to access the mood boards on my iPad which is frustrating I don't want to carry my laptop around but its the only way to view the mood boards.

In Houzz Pro contacting the potential client works well. But the automatic responses are irritating as they continue to ask you to respond when that's already be done. The program doesn't follow through as you move through the process. It's mostly aggravating.

I love the fact that everything relating to the management of my business can be found in one place. From receiving leads and converting them to projects, through project completion and all bookkeeping tasks, it is all in one place.

Being a designer new to Houzz, I am never quite sure if my electronic replies to leads are reaching potential clients. I will typically sent an electronic response prior to reaching out by phone. I would love some kind of notification when my replies have been received and read, even if a lead selects another designer and chooses not to respond to my communication.

Amazing product I was so lost estimating jobs losing money underbidding jobs now I know where I'm supposed to be and it sends the estimate to my client. I absolutely love this software

I like that i can communicate with clients once we get leads.
That's currently what we use houzz for is getting leads and then we take from there.

I feel like better customer screening needs to happen, we have had a lot of dud leads that don't pan out. Clients are un educated, or looking for ball parks with out the intention of going ahead with the project. a lot of wasted time happens taking D grade leads.

Houzz's ease of use evolved over the many years that we partnered with Houzz. It has always been great and managing our profile has been both easy and beneficial.

We are a larger company, so there are many Houzz Pro programs such as bookkeeping, scheduling, etc. that do not apply to our business.

Houzz Pro is a wonderful tool to have. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], our direct client success manager has been a great help in setting up our account, uploading the files we've directly provided for him, having zoom meeting on a regular basis to make sure we stay up to date on our latest designs.

This is a time consuming process which takes a while to set up, but our client success manager certainly helps us beyond what we expected.

We recently started using this platform/software so still not sure how confident we are about it as we have not received any direct contacts from clients . However, it is good to have a platform that you have access to your real time projects and to be able to connect with potential clients.
