Tight integration with Asana works perfectly.

Very clear UX on the Everhour site.

Nachteile

Some parts of the reporting take a little training to understand, but all the features are there.
Not really a con, more a feature request: we would love to be able to schedule time for tasks over a 1 to 2 week period, in a very flexible way. No time/project app we've tested does this scheduling is usually blocking out large chunks of time rather than scheduling various size chunks for tasks.

It's easy to use and works well with everhour. New employees find it very easy to grasp.

I dont think it's a con but, I wish the was a way to copy a whole row of tasks? And not just single tasks? Maybe I missed it on an update..

Its easy to use and keeps track of things on varying levels per project which I like. I have options and thats good.

Not sure yet because there are some things I haven't used as of yet. But adding to a client budget can be tricky!

Annoyances with needing to specifically put in h and m for time, and sometimes the autofill isn't what I want.

No support of the timer in asana desktop app. I would prefere to have asana opened on my win10 system and track my time using the ererhour plug in rather than having another tab on my browser

More comprehensive and customisable reporting would be appreciated. I can also no longer view my scheduled work. I used to send a copy of this to my clients to verify my availability for them, and I can no longer do this.

Nachteile

The only downside to Everhour is (not the software itself) the adoption resistance from the users at any given workspace. This can be a great tool or can be a tool that is disliked by all. Some might feel timed/watched/tracked at a very micromanaging way.

Actually, the most interesting thing about Everhour is integration with all major Project management software. We using Everhour with Asana and Trello and having great experience with it.

Nachteile

We would like to see more flexible reporting system. (Despite the fact that it's already very flexible). For example we need ability to group tasks in report by asana project section. It would be great.

Integration with Asana is critical, and it works great. I also enjoy the reporting features. I feel like the whole time tracking and updating process is pretty quick and easy.

Honestly I dislike that Asana doesn't have a software for time tracking that is built in. EverHour can't change that, but with EverHour itself there is very little to be upset about, especially with their recent developments.

I think it's super simple. Its integration with Jira is excellent. I can track time under tasks effectively. I love it.

I really don't have anything to complain about. Maybe just nitpicking. It would be nice to personalize the dashboard to maybe colors I like. Again love the product.

Everhour's integration with Asana is wonderful for a Remote team. We track all activities in Asana, but before Everhour I often wondered how long it was taking to do a task, now I know exactly. I can see who is working right now and a summary each day.

Nachteile

Need to have an easy way to turn off timers. Frequently, I walk away from my desk and forget to stop a timer. Currently, I log on to the website and stop it, which is not a bad workaround. Ideally it would be something simple like send a text msg or push a button on an app when not on a desktop.

Easily sync to basecamp, so I can create and update time in either software, and it syncs to the other. We've effectively replaced MS Project and are using the schedule feature to improve our overall visibility of projects coming up and where people are being allocated or overallocated.

Nachteile

Occasionally the UI doesn't refresh and requires F5, and the schedule interface can be a little slow.

The best thing about Everhour is the integration with Asana. It's very easy to report and edit time from inside the tasks. I also like how easy it is to create reports, the fact that it pulls custom variables from Asana is very helpful!

Nachteile

The time estimation feature could be better. I would like to see from a report, which tasks from an Asana project still have no estimation defined.

The UX is easy to learn and navigate. It's nice to have the chrome extension.

On other tools it's nice to be able to quickly type 1h (one hour) or 30m (thirty minutes). Get used to that on project management tools like Asana then switch to Everhour and then have to switch to the analog format. It would be nice to have both options.

It's very intuitive to use. It has the richest set of features of any time tracking app we've used with Asana.

I forget to stop the timer sometimes. Having an auto-stop feature based on x number of idle minutes or some other trigger that would make sense would be great.

The fact that i can use it to track hours for myself and my team both for billable and non billable items. That i can also use it to invoice, that i can pull detail reports for me, my staff and my clients with the right information so confidentiality stays in play and most importantly what brought me to Everhour, they integrate with Basecamp3 which is a MUST for me. The integration is seamless and EXACTLY what we needed. No other program offered it, even the others that integrate with BC the other integrations didnt work for us.

Nachteile

I don't have 5 team members using this yet and i probably won't for a long time. I don' t like paying for 5 although the price is worth what this product does for my company.

Some of the reports i had to kinda work with before i got exactly what i wanted but its great now.

The ability to stop and start the timer within Basecamp on your browser. It has an attractive layout which is easy to follow and the reporting looks good.

Having to sync and add projects to produce time sheets for clients. Lack of monthly retainer feature means that we have to do this function manually each month. Time rounding function rounds up and down instead of up only so some time is lost when a project's activity is rounded down.

I like the way that the Everhour/Asana integration helps me keep track of my team's time on projects on a daily, monthly and yearly basis.

I dislike that you can't edit time spent on a task in Asana (you can only add), and if you need to subtract time you have to go into the Everhour webpage.

The reporting feels a bit limited. Also would be nice to be able to format the .pdfs of the reports with more detail (headers, footers etc.). Also, not being able to do multiple currencies is almost a deal-breaker. Perhaps the ability to tag each project with a currency would be a simple way to implement currencies without changing the whole backend.

I wish that Asana had built in time-tracking software so that I didn't need to use Everhour. But that's not a fault of Everhour, it's a fault of Asana.

We are using Everhour to track the time worked in combination with Asana. Integration is perfect and we have never had any problems. Our team consists of four people who work mainly off-site and update their activities throughout the day. The reporting functionality is very powerful, allowing you to create very personalized reports.

Missing API, custom fields and a native app but I'm sure it's just a matter of time!

Forgetting to stop the timer and closing the computer will cause the timer to continue running. The timer also stops automatically at midnight without a notification.

I have a type of work I record for my contractors which is "flat rate." I haven't found a way to create an entry for flat rate work (not paid hourly) that shows up correctly in my EverHour report. I end up adding it manually.

No individual plan. Actually I don't need an individual plan because we use it with the whole team, but back when this new business model was implemented I saw a lot of people complaining and I agree with their cause.
