editing time entries (after forgetting to stop the watch in asana) can only be done inside everhour, no option to quickly edit a time entry in asana or the chrome plugin.

none. I only struggled the first few days as I tried to figure out but once I got the gist of it I was good to go.

I use the software only because it is the software one of my clients use for their time tracking. It is intuitive and easy to use. It is web-based and I have no issues across platforms, though I use it in a very limited capacity.

The software is not as useful for a sole proprietor but works well for small organizations.

The name of the project the task is assign to would be helpful. we have task that are named the same thing for dofferent projects but i like to go to ever hour than assan to time the task correctly

Seems odd that Asana has not just created such an add-on themselves. The fact that we have to pay more for this add-on than we do for Asana itself feels ridiculous and was very hard to get approved internally. To have to spend an amount to track out time for Asana which is free just feels wrong.

Its good that has lot of options for Projects, Reports, Expenses.

Nachteile

Since I am new user and I used on previous projects TFS, I found this software much more complicated and it is not user friendly. When I enter my tasks time, history is not cleary represented, it should be displayed all time ranges separately and not all combined. Also notes section is very small. Search could be optimized also.

Vorteile

Love that it integrates seamlessly into our ASANA operations. Multiple options on how to track time (use timer, use timer in ASANA, manual entry, taskbar) results in high adoption. Ability to customize and allow who gets to see what provides privacy and trust between team members.

Nachteile

More options on the reporting side! Specifically on filters, ability to choose custom filters and save them. More reporting views than a huge table that I have to scroll back and forth to find a subset of employees.

That it shows us where we spend most of our time in the business. We have used it for over twelve months and now it gives us valuable data.

Nachteile

No cons for us. Sometimes it takes a little bit of time to sync when Basecamp ran an update but overall fine.

The reports. There are many ways to show them, I mostly use the "by member" way and the "by date" way as well

That when I change a project's name it doesn't change for everyone in the team automatically.
That it is not posible to change the integration from basecamp 2 to basecamp 3 in the same project. I would like to have the posibility of moving private projects to company projects.

Vorteile

Everhour is extremely easy to use. The interfaces on the website are really intuitive and information is really easy to find. It also integrates with our project management system, Basecamp, which streamlines the systems we use to track our team members' time spent on each project. It has also helped us monitor where our time is most spent between administrative, operations, BD and projects and comes highly recommended by us.

Nachteile

The only weakness of the product to date is that it doesn't integrate with our Basecamp app on our mobile devices or desktop. This means we have to use Basecamp on our websites to track our time and we also cannot edit our times on Basecamp and must go back to Everhour site to edit hours.

Ease of use. Few steps to get things done. Nice reports with links that make sense when we are viewing the report in the app.

Excel reports could be more customizable. The description of the activity is not shown on the Excel worksheet. HTML reports could have links to these descriptions or there could be a way for our client to access data online, in the app, in a separate, view only account.

The Jira integration makes it really easy to track tasks within our scrum boards. Thank you for adding a Web API too! It's made our lives way easier.

It's a bit tricky to archive/complete the Scrum projects within Everhour. I was hoping there would be a "release" function that would allow me to complete my projects a bit easier.

Ease of use, best Asana integration, reasonably priced. Does what I need it to do, reaonably priced, customer support is responsive.

No major cons. It would be nice to be able to have a separate time tracker desktop app that is not web based and pushes data to the web. So that you can rapidly switch taks timers as you work.

As a freelancer developer with my own clients as well as subcontract clients I have many different directions I get pulled. Before Everhour tracking my time on these projects was impossible and I was missing billing time.

Nachteile

Would like a phone app but that is only needed when I forget to sign out of a projects. Otherwise most of my work is done on a desktop.

Vorteile

- When I forgot to stop my timer in pivotal it is easy to ajust my time from everhour.
- UI & UX it awesome

Nachteile

- The regex for typing manually time can be improved
- The auto-login doesn't allow you to be redirected directly to the important page; the time editing/viewing

It is easy to track the time for every task seperatly. It gives a very good overview of the worked hours. Also the agenda is very handy to get the deadlines.

Nachteile

The plug-ins for the internetbrowsers weren't working. Therefor I made some mistakes and had to find out how the plug-in worked with asana. This wasn't so clear.

I love the fact that it is integrated with Asana and Teamweek, and enables us to report on the time spent on projects. I work freelance with other freelancers, Everhour allows us to log our time and divide budgets fairly and transparently.

Nachteile

It would be nice if we could have its own app I could use on my phone to log in meeting and travel times.

Love the built in timer. Once you get everything set up it is very easy to track time and translate that into client invoices.

Simple, functional interface with zero learning curve. It was easy to pick up and doesn't waste valuable time.

Asana integration sometimes lags, but always catches up within minutes after lagging. The only time that matters is when you have a brand new project that you need to start right away and the time tracking hasn't arrived onto the task yet.

There are still improvements they can make to the ease of use but they've been making good progress.

Easy to use - simple for both me as an administrator and my techs as regular users.

Comprehensive reporting - I can see all the time that techs log, along with the project data. I can arrange this in a plethora of different ways to suit my needs.

Asana Integration - We use Asana to mange our projects, so being able to seamlessly integrate saves a lot of work.

Chrome/Safari Extension - Compatible with just about any computer setup you may be running.

Nachteile

Invoicing feature only supports those who exclusively sell labor, not goods. We have projects where we spend time, but also have to sell parts. For this reason, the invoicing feature for us goes unused.

Some features are difficult to find. I have come across numerous scenarios where I could not find a particular feature because it was not part of a menu. Instead I stumbled upon it by accidentally hovering over a particular area of the page. The overall navigation/user experience is good, just a few too many 'discoverable' features that are not included in menus.

I work with this program quite recently for the reason of starting a new job and everything seems perfect.

Nachteile

I have not experienced any difficulties.

- I love how easy to use it is. The software has just enough features to make it a daily driver.
- The integration with JIRA is the best I've ever used. I love that it forces people to choose a ticket they are working on
- The time tracking/hourly wage portion is excellent.

- Onboarding was slow.
- Setting up the JIRA integration was not self explanatory
- Need to buy five seats.

Good integration and fantastic customer support. Software is very easy to use and has a good stability. The reporting tool is very flexible and therefore adjustable to our needs.

Our bookkeeping system (Twinfield) does not integrate with Everhour, so our billing needs to be done manually.
