It has been a very helpful tool that allows you to have the administration of all the devices in a single console, helping to improve the administration of security and IT management

Slow, unreliable patching, complicated menu
complicated and confusing
Vorteile
Patch and Automate Patch Deployment but I feel that WSUS should be better for this. There is many patches every months that are not installed. We must than install this updates manually.
Nachteile
Patch Mgmt.. is slow, we have limited time window to install all updates but there is no option to force installation or change the 90minutes refres cycle.

Increased mobile users required us to move to a cloud solution.
My overall experience has been great. The product is easy to use and helpdesk support is always quick and friendly.
Vorteile
As COVID hit our company we suddenly went from about 40% remote users to 100% remote users. As a company we have always deployed laptops to our users but most of them were in the corporate office regularly. With COVID that changed and degraded our ability to know vulnerability levels and to ensure all systems were patched. We have deployed the in-house Vulnerability Manager Plus from Manage Engine but with users not always on VPN getting up to date information on laptops was difficult. Moving to the cloud solution was a great option for us as it had most of the capabilities of the inhouse system in use with the benefit added features like system inventory, remote management and always on connectivity through the cloud.

There really isn't anything I like about this software.

Overall it has been a valuable tool for the team
Vorteile
I inherited a network that was using this product. Although I have used other similar products in the past, I was able to easily pick up how this product works and had plenty of help from support and online videos. This has quickly become my desktop management favorite tool

Great product!
Vorteile
The ability to perform updates and monitor updates is so easy. The ability to help our end users is great. We would need at least 3 more bodies if we were not using Desktop Central.

Support is sometime slow to respond. I do not have many cons.

EndPoint Central is the answer
It solved all the issues we had with remote deployment and the time and resources it took to rollout software and updates.

Still in trial - looks promising for the price but takes some time to get working well
I'm still in trial. It looks promising so far
Vorteile
I find it easy to learn, although sometimes a little time consuming and requiring taking a lot of notes, something I don't usually do. I think it is worth persisting due to the pricing as it works out well proced for me with 75 endpoints
Nachteile
It was a little tricky to create a "site" initially and I think AD sync is only from on premise, not Azure but once it was up and running it makes it easy to add machines, etc

Best End Point Management Software (Value for Money)
It is great tool, our IT team now has full visibility on every device we own.
Vorteile
The product is so easy to use and configure that we were able to implement in couple of hours. We are not pushing the agent to our sites and it is so effortless.
Nachteile
So far nothing, we have found it easy to use and ME have great support in case we need some help

Must Recommended Software.
Vorteile
It's Patch management tool, remote control tool, easy to install, it gives all sorts of info related to the software and hardware, it's reporting tool and it's support which is very fast and their technical person are quite skill full they give solutions with on the spot.
Nachteile
Sometimes it did not provide complete information like installed OS product key kind of information. It also takes too much time to get the resolution from their backend team if some issue raise to that level.

Excellent Software
There is so much feature packed into Desktop Central. Most of them so useful and so convenient.
Vorteile
We use this software mainly to rollout Windows/Linux patches, third party software updates, software installation/uninstallation and for remote access of internal workstations. It is very easy to use and all in one interface. You can even launch command prompt in the background as the user while the user is using the computer. Saves us so much time.
Nachteile
The pricing is in USD only. Their latest Endpoint Security feature requires separate licensing. Some features like MDM and OS Deployment require a steep learning curve.

Great tool!
Vorteile
We have been using Manage Engine's Desktop Central for about two years and it works really well. It remotely manages and is very easy to use and understand for the end user. It all comes through easily with the patch files. Customizing the dashboard and reports control is highly customizable.

The support is not very helpful, they take hours to respond.

ManageEngine Endpoint Central is one of the most powerful and simple to use mobile device management solutions I have ever used. I came across it when I was looking for a solution to manage the fleet of Android devices that my company uses. It has proven to be very easy to use and has a strong set of tools for managing the devices in my mobile devices department.The product is quite easy to use; it is a simple install, with a great UI and very intuitive.

A decent product
We are solving patch management, software licensing and deployment, compliance management, and inventory.
Vorteile
Patch management was easy to setup. Inventory is very comprehensiveTest and approve worked seamlessly. Reports are comprehensiveWeb GUI is responsive taking 3-5 seconds on average to load a page. Decent considering all the information points it has to collate.
Nachteile
GPO deployment how-tos were hard to understand. GPO deployment didn't work via VPN. Test and Approve needs a representative group, otherwise some patches will never be approved that are needed by the rest of the business, but are not needed by anyone in the test and approve group

Great for the money
We are benefiting by keeping up with patches and all our inventory, Desktop Central is also very cost effective since its only ~$2.50 per device.
Vorteile
There are so many features in Desktop Central, so many that we might not ever use some of them. But they manage to keep all these features working and at the ready for when we might need them.
Nachteile
The interface is a little hard to navigate at first, its a little cluttered and not as responsive as others. But when you have so many features its hard to find a place for all of them.

Well Rounded Tool
Reporting provides accurate details to resolve compliance or security issues. Inventory of accounts and assets is maintained and the patching and speed of pushing them out is easier without disrupting users. Remote access to the user when a user needs assistance and or training.
Vorteile
ME is akin to having at least one 24x7 IT person working. The reporting is completed and has helped flush out rogue and outdated drivers and cloud activity. Patching with ease and the remote tool all built in. Most campuses could easily utilize this tool to better manage assets and inform on problem areas.

Some of the reports could be consolidated.

Tremendous all-in-one tool for endpoint management
Being an admirer of the ManageEngine tools, choosing Desktop Central for its capabilities to manage Windows, MacOS, and Linux machines was a no-brainer.
Vorteile
Managing with ease Linux, Mac, and Windows machines with a comprehensive view on the patch management for OS and third-party software's. HW inventory to prepare for EOL and or upgrades of computers. Asset mgmt to make sure computers are correctly assigned. SW inventory for a full picture on running approved and licensed software. SW deployment made easy with the Self-Service Portal. Assuring compliance with the company policies.
Nachteile
As the product is constantly evolving sometimes the documentation may not be up-to-date however, given the intuitive and ease to manage this is rarely a problem.

The products provide a lot of value to organizations, and easily compete with the top vendors.
Vorteile
There are lots of solutions/modules available to help manage IT from an enterprise perspective. Could value on the small amount of resources needed to operate the solution.
Nachteile
We encounter ongoing challenges when trying to work with the Sales part of this company. It is very frustrating to deal with sales when trying to buy more than one module. Every module seems to have its own sales team that do not talk to the other sales teams. Worst part of the product.

Great contented

I've used Desktop Central in the past so knew my way around this. I find that it's easier to use than others, especially patch management.

Trial is never long enough, especially having to move from another RMM.

Love ME DesktopCentral
We've managed our patch management system and also remote support very easily.
Vorteile
It's easy to use. The first-time installation will not take more than 10 minutes.

So much promise but support severely lacking
Vorteile
The speed to online a trial was nice. Great single pane of glass for a lot of information about the in-field fleet but lacking in a lot of capabilities.
Nachteile
The agent installs(MDM and DC Agent) are spotty at best and difficult to automate. With a full remote workforce having to double ship equipment to ensure they are right and proper is a PITA.

Hosted Endpoint Central 30day review
Very Positive. We have been impressed with the quality of the product, ease of use, and features. This product is a strong leader in our search for a UEM.
Vorteile
We were looking for an all-in-one remote access, patch management, application management, OS deployment, and inventory control solution for our department. While we have only been testing for 30 days, we have been very impressed by the ease of use and how quickly we were able to deploy and manage this to our test users.
Nachteile
Wishing there was a support portal that our end users could browse to for us to remotely access their PCs that do not have the EC agent on. Support for other vendors (HP, Lenovo) driver/bios updates.

Pretty feature rich product that is pretty easy to deploy.
Centralized patch management and inventory reporting.
Vorteile
This product was easy to deploy and the cost was lower than most others. It does not do patch management as well as other products but also costs a lot less. There are good remote access features that allow the product to serve as a single pane for remote access and support. Good reporting capabilities as well.
Nachteile
There can be some confusion on patches that are needed and what is actually installed on the systems. This can leave a lot of server in a pending reboot status if not careful.

It has all I need.
Management of USB drives is a plus. It's a problem with users using USB drives all the time.
Vorteile
Let's see. I can manage patching, bandwidth optimization, remote control and more. Alerts and reports of AD and users login.
Nachteile
I would love to be able to deliver Operative systems and to restrict the use of pirate software. That's is difficult to have I agree.

Desktop Central
Vorteile
Absolutely a wonder application. Great for software, service packs and patch deployment. The ease of installing and configuring will have you up and running very quickly. Ideal for small to mid size networks. It also allows admins to search and service packs and patches for software outside of the Microsoft family. Workstation configurations can be configured and deployed via a schedule. There are also some very detailed and useful reports.
Nachteile
Support isn't as good some of the other ManageEngine applications.

Vorteile
I was attracted to the prospect of having a single pane of visibility into the health of my network, instead of having to navigate different tools from different vendors.
Nachteile
I did not get the chance to test drive the capabilities as much as i would like as I'm still busy navigating multiple different solutions.

Full-featured product, very easy to use
Vorteile
The endpoints install with no fuss at all - simply run the executable and that's it - no keys or reg files to deploy. Overall the software is very easy to use and navigate.

Our initial deployment was tricky as we use other ManageEngine products. Navigation of using multiple products could be defined a little better

Almost perfect!
Vorteile
The features are great and there are many of them. I use the cloud-version and upgrade from ManageEngine MDM. I tested many MDMs and RMMs, but this one doesn't miss much. Test it!
Nachteile
Cause of the many features, the UI is a little confusing, but there are many crosslinks that makes it easier to handle it. You need some time for trainig yourself.

Great product, awesome potential for an efficient environment. Some functionality has ease of use, others require technical walk-through and assistance. Knowledge base is very general and support is hard to reach.

Customer support. Most responses return an article to read and no support to the intricate details to the issue you may be facing that isn't documented. Calls aren't returned although they are promised.

Vorteile
So many features especially the remote control such as remote registry and wake on LAN. Deploying packages is good to but the status page could be a little more elaborate.
Nachteile
User Interface could be cleaner. Currently it feels a little crowded and could use some consolidating.

Cloud UEM trial for a small municipality
We are using the trial at the moment, and have decided to move forward in purchasing the UEM Cloud edition of Desktop Central.
Vorteile
ManageEngine does well with easy deployment of the product. I really like sending updates and new software to systems without having to interrupt the user.
Nachteile
There are grammatical errors and typos within the English language. It is understandable but often strange. Therefore, it can look unprofessional to our users.
