Remote Monitoring and Management Program

Helpdesk and ticketing capabilities enables me to save a lot of time by automating customer support processes.

Vorteile

Atera has improved customer satisfaction by handling support tickets which leads to customer retention.

Nachteile

It requires external apps such as TeamViewer and AnyDesk to enhance remote access anyways.

After trying several other RMM solutions, I decided that Atera was a good fit for my company and provided the best value. I use the product every day and will continue to subscribe

Atera is the clear winner in the IT management space

Atera has been great to use here at our company. It used to be a challenge to support the environment and relied on outside consulting support. We have been able to bring things fully in-house and realize faster response times as well as 6 figure plus cost savings in the IT budget.

Vorteile

Atera was extremely easy to get setup and running in our environment. It provides easy visibility and management capability for all IT devices and issues.

Nachteile

Atera has a couple of areas where a few tweaks could be made to either the interface or some of the features to make them really polished. Full functionality is available in the product however, and they listen to user suggestions and requests. They have a strong community where users can suggest new features, provide feedback for issues they discover, and learn about upcoming enhancements.

An intuitive, powerful system.

I don't think I'd be able to do all the things I need to do in my job without Atera. Any quirks it may have are small potatoes compared to the power of its features.

Vorteile

The ability to seamlessly swap from client device to device is revelatory, along with all the information Atera collates for us without even needing to remote in. The real-time monitoring is incredibly helpful in case clients networks go down. The remote-in options are varied and all are useful in certain ways.

Nachteile

The functionality of some features can feel a bit confusing and obscure, especially to the new user. It does take a little time to get fully used to all of the features, and a better way of conveying such knowledge would be appreciated.

Ottimo se si dispone di budget

Abbiamo deciso di provare Atera, il costo al mese supera i 100€ ma il servizio è veramente buono, nonostante alcuni momenti di lentezza, ma non so se dipende da noi, stiamo cercando di capirlo. Riusciamo tenere sotto controllo i server dei clienti in tempo reale, inoltre riusciamo a connetterci da remoto.

Vorteile

controllo da remoto, notifiche real time... riesci a tenere tutto sotto controllo in tempo reale. ottima gestione ticket, configurazione semplice e "veloce".

Nachteile

l'unico svantaggio potrebbe essere il prezzo poco accessibile a tutti, ma se si ha bisogno di questo tipo di software si sa che bisogna spendere. Inoltre a noi ogni tanto è lento.

Nachteile

We use Atera as an all-in-one RMM platform which is designed to help managed service providers, helps in streamlining IT support/ maintenance. Overall we can manage our IT operations efficiently. Our business problems to which Atera addresses are mainly remote IT management, IT Automation, Ticketing System for our IT support. It has increased our cost efficiency significantly. Our security and compliance were also benefited by using Atera. Atera helps us in centralized monitoring, automated patching and maintenance, cost management and remote access for support. In short, Atera provides the tools needed for efficient IT management, cost reduction, and improved system reliability to our organization.

Cost Effective Product for IT Management

We have been using Atera for last 6 months and it has been very helpful. It is being used as an all-in-one RMM platform for all the centralized IT management, remote support or proactive monitoring. It has helped in solving several issues like system downtime, delayed customer support and IT operations by providing automated patch management and real-time monitoring. This has helped a lot in enhancing the operational efficiency, security and client satisfaction.

Vorteile

Atera's built-in helpdesk helps a lot in steamlining customer support by managing and prioritizing tickets efficiently. Another point is it also offers automated reports on system health, performance and ticket resolution, thus giving clear insights for both the internal teams and clients.
The platform's remote access features allow technicians to connect instantly to client devices, thereby providing fast and effective support from anywhere.

Nachteile

While the software provides automated reports, customization options are limited. It would be beneficial to have more flexibility in creating more customized reports to meet specific client requirements or internal KPIs.

The patch management feature is useful, but it lacks granual control options. If it can have more advanced scheduling and testing phases, it will be more helpful for the IT teams to manage updates with great precision.

A seamless Remote connection tool

Atera is a reliable RMM that offfer reliable remote connections and supports integration with anydesk. Also, the dashboard is very helpful as it gives an overview of all the connection requests,time spent in each session etc

Vorteile

Atera offers seamless integration with Anydesk which I have been using for connecting to high configuration remote machines which I use for executing certain memory intensive program exe files.

Nachteile

Currently the mobile app doesnt support remote connections.This is a feature which should be released in the new updates

Great Product

Very positive. Customers find making tickets with Atera a lot easier than with previous software. We in IT find it very convenient to have everything in one location.

Vorteile

Had every feature we needed and even some we didn't know we needed until we started looking around at what Atera offered. Also like that new features keep being added.

Nachteile

The website can sometimes be slow to respond and require multiple refreshes. Doesn't matter which browser is used or if it's on or off work locations. Also do not like the recent addition of AI. AI is not well understood and has a tendency to go off the rails, so shoehorning it into software that is supposed to be reliable doesn't seem like a good idea.

All in one PSA/RMM tool that has some quirks

Vorteile

Atera like most All in One products is very cost effective, it provides great value and gets most small MSPs 90% there. It has a great feature set and ticks all the boxes for a small MSP

Nachteile

Again like most AiO products its doesnt do anything excellent, it does alot of things well. The interface could use some work and the documentation feature is lacking.

Atera is the est remote monitoring Tool.

Vorteile

I utilize Atera to manage all of my software and hardware resources.For improved asset lifecycle management,this also includes the capacity to create reports and track licenses and warranties.

Nachteile

Atera's reporting features may not be as strong as those of some specialized PSA solutions. It provides basic reports, but thats not enough for complex data visualization.

This is what you need.

Vorteile

The ability to do all the things you can with other remote software but at a quarter of the price. With all this you also get a ticketing system, an asset control and a knowledge base. And if this was not enough, the fine people at Atera have a place to request new feature and the community of users vote on it!

Nachteile

There is not alot I can say here, but if there is something I would like is if they would make Atera's scripting function more robust.

CodeRight Corp First Review after 2+ years with a single Support User license

The business model of Cost per Support Agent compared to Cost per End-Point is SO much better than any other competing product on the market.. especially for a small MSP like CodeRight just starting out less then 3 years ago with only 1 medium size client.

Vorteile

The Atera agents ability to install many different remote access 3rd party software tools is so valuable. The support for MacOS and Linux is also critical. The easy of use to setup a new client and just get going is fantastic.. very low friction. very efficient.. easy to learn... and the online Docs are very good.

Nachteile

I wish the web interface had a much more extensive and flexible SEARCH feature.. i need the ability to search through ALL meta data to find things faster when you have lots of clients

Simple and affordable, to the point.

It is quite good because it includes remote access and PSA so there's not much need for other tools and is cost-effective too. Some features are overwhelming.

Vorteile

It is quite easy to get used to it. The best part is that you can manage many devices with very little cost. Also, it does have AI integration which is kind of effective and is usually not present widely in other software.

Nachteile

There are a bit of limited integration options available. It needs to be re-run for patch deployment tasks. Another noticeable thing is sometimes the tickets duplicate on their own.

Great startup PSA and RMM for MSPs

Great, very high uptime and excellent performance

It has all the features and most the integrations most the competitors have at a slightly lower price. The software evolves faster than competitors so if the feature you need isn’t there it probably will be soon.

Atera is great till you need timely Definition updates and the schedule options are painful.

Atera was okay but really didn't hold up to all the marketing hype especially when it potentially introduces a patching delay for Definition updates to your IT environment...

Vorteile

The interface is very easy to use and simple, installation in terms of deployment is tidy and even removal will leave a clean machine if you uninstall from the dashboard.

Nachteile

The patch management in terms of Definition updates leaves somewhat to be desired especially as the schedule doesn't within the dashboard GUI allow to set hourly unless you wish to sit making a load of schedules one by one which is defeating the point of a simple dashboard. Support were less than helpful which didn't hold up any hope they would even bother logging this as a feature request.Having Definition updates delayed doesn't seem to bode well with claiming to help bolster security if your updates are delayed to just once a day or likely a week which is how I see most MSP and IT setting their patching.

Best software solution I've added in years.

It's like adding staff to an IT dept.

Vorteile

Having Atera frees up so much time. The ease with which we can fix issues, add functionality, patch applications is incredible. It's as if we have added staff to my department. Don't know how we survived without have Atera.

Nachteile

Honestly, cannot think of anything. Only issue is having to clean registry the couple of times the agent has not worked.
