Project billing rates can be set through your Project admin screen, and additional rates can be set in your system's Billing Rates screen. If you would like to read up more on those options, just click the Help button near your Senomix upper-right corner.

For your wish-list item of project categorization: have you tried creating project groups?

You can create as many project groups as you would like, then generate reports with those groups used as a filter for output. For example, you could create groups for each individual client or work type, then select the project group of interest for your reports to see your numbers filtered on that categorization.

Ouch!

It sounds like your office has an older, self-installed version of Senomix Timesheets.

Self-installed Senomix servers are installed on your own office network. That puts your system out of our reach for assistance unless your IT person contacts us.

The issues you're describing would happen with an incorrectly configured server computer. We could work with your IT group to fix that for you today, or we could move your office to a hosted Senomix plan and handle all server management for you.

Could you please send an email to [email protected]? This is the first we're hearing about your issue. It would be great if you would let us help resolve it!

For your requested ability to see how much time you have spent on each project number by task: just sign in to your reports application. Your Project Effort report should deliver the exact numbers you're looking for.

If you would like to see more of your project titles when searching, you can toggle off display of the project code in your selector dialog.

Just click the 'Hide Code' button in your selector to do that

Temporarily hiding your project code column will open up space in your project list, which would help listing out longer project names.

That spinning wheel will come up when there is a connectivity issue with your system. That would typically happen when an older self-installed system (where the system server is installed on your own network)
has not been properly configured.

For your project naming: I'm afraid that's set in-house by the people who administer your Senomix system.

On the plus-side, it also makes those names very easy to change.

I would be happy to help provide suggestions for how you can clarify your project and billing code naming if you would like. Just send us a support email and I'll be sure to get back to you direct.

For timesheet row color-coding: your billing codes are shaded light blue for your selected timesheet line, and the selected day is underlined in blue. If you have ideas on how we could improve on that highlighting, please do send us your suggestions.

For your display of a monthly timesheet: have you tried using your personal reports?

Each Senomix user can create reports from their own recorded time by signing in to "Manager and Personal Reports". From there, you could summarize your monthly data.

The Work in Progress and Project Effort reports might be particularly helpful for you. Those provide an overview of project numbers for your selected time range.

We're glad to hear Senomix is making your time entry easy!

You should see a 'Sort' button appearing in your options menu in the near future, and that will allow you to sort your timesheet rows alphabetically with a button click.

In the meantime, you can always re-order your timesheet rows with the 'move' arrows (near the bottom-left of your timesheet), or use your keyboard ctrl-arrow up/down keys to move your selected row.

I'll see what we can do about displaying recorded time in rounded minutes, in addition to hundredths of an hour.

Saving time by hour-hundredths helps ensure the most accurate calculations for project status, billing, and other items. But it can be more intuitive to view time spent with the hours/minutes we use outside of timesheets.

Have you tried the 'assigned projects' option for your individual user timesheets?

Projects can be assigned on a per-user basis through your administration app, and that would filter timesheet options to match the work assigned to your staff.

If you have other functionality in mind for the customization of user timesheets, please do let us know.

We don't want you to lose your work!

You can avoid that message by clicking the 'Save' button on your timesheet before closing your web browser or turning your computer off.

To save your timesheet, just click the green 'Save' button.

You'll see a 'Saved' popup a few moments later, and that provides confirmation that your data is saved in your system.

You can save your timesheet as often as you'd like, or discard any unwanted changes by exiting your timesheet screen.
