The new setup check list is very user friendly once you understand the software.
If MBO were to have an option more adapted to the specific requirements of learn to swim schools, you would open yourselves up to a huge market. As there is not currently a good software out there for learn to swim schools.

This is not a Dance scheduler

I tried this product out, its just an appointment calendar, has nothing that really is directly usable for a Dance Studio, for such a big company, this is a very disappointing product.

It is a good start but clunky

This is great for a spa manager who needs to manage multiple employee's schedules.

I am extremely pleased with MindBody and it's functionality for my business. The tech support staff is helpful, friendly, and available 24/7 to answer questions. As a new business owner of a busy wellness center, I needed a software tailored to my business as well as efficient to use. MindBody definitely meets all my goals and expectations. There are a few challenges when it comes to the ease of using the core software program when the Express app does not pair the same functionality, but overall its fairly user friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone.

We did not do an onboarding since the system was already installed, but tech support has been incredible at walking us through configuration changes.

Mind Body

The customer service is awesome and the product has all the features I need to run my business. The ui is outdated though it is improving and becoming more modern and easier to use. I do however have to call in allot because the program is so deep it is hard to figure out or remember how things work. The more training material to produce and put on youtube the better. Also the fact that I can not integrate into my website with out a third party is not so great and If the api had the same level of support as the product I would create my own web experience.

I've been using this product for almost 6 years. Having a computer software background, this application is great! Fantastic customer service and upgrades and features have been added a lot throughout the years. I've experienced a few bugs here and there however workarounds were always provided. UE is great for my staff which are mostly yoginis. The experience is very user friendly and clear. I appreciate the visuals like big "OWE" in the class roster which helps my staff quickly see. Keep doing what you're doing!

I use MBO for my yoga studio

I find the basic level of software extremely limiting for basic items that absolutely should be included such as staff permissions. I had MBO a couple years ago and all benefits were included at that time. I think separating into membership levels was a huge "take" from members.

Updating, changing and scheduling of classes are extremely arduous. As each class has to be updated individually for every day of the week in order to change classes long term on the calendar.

It is difficult to find where to take action on some items due to poor labeling.

We were told we could customize the program and this has fallen below what we feel we were promised. When I call for help it takes a very long time and sometimes the answers are not found. We are unable to make adjustments in the invoicing area like we were told we could, we make adjustments to client accounts and we are unable to do this and keep notes in one screen we instead need several screens or invoices that are $0. It is frustrating and unsatisfying because we thought that MindBody would be the answer we were looking for but it isn't.

Great software for our Yoga Studio

Mindbody is very helpful in managing a yoga studio. It gives options for different rooms for classes and because of its popularity the students are comfortable with using it online. The reports are detailed and the app is great for creating interest in the studio. When a student purchases in the studio this is quite a few clicks to get through and it slows down the signing in process. Customer support is fantastic!

Too much of something isn't good, it's a very clustered app. Not very user friendly as it tries to cater to too many businesses.

Cannot live without

I had never heard of MINDBODY before I opened my boxing and fitness club just over a year ago. Now, I cannot live without it! This system does everything right to help me run my business. The best thing is probably the phone app for business owner, the MINDBODY EXPRESS. Almost every single thing I need to do to run the business from half way around the world is right at my fingertips! Many other competitors (of MINDBODY) have tried to pursuade me to use their system, but I will never leave MINDBODY!

Dismal experience. I worked for months to create a webpage and set up my MindBody account.

I began in March 2015 and its now November. I have yet to schedule a single client using this crap!
I was told that I could use my "old" / pre-existing URL . They still haven't set the new website to go to it.
I give up! Please, I urge everyone out there looking to sign up with Mind Body, investigate other companies.... Save your self the hassle.

Fredrick is Great

This is presently the best marketing value for the buck at our Waxing the City studios. We have had consistently great acquisition response and return response to our specials, low day fills, and last minute fills.

Yeah, not so happy

I will just mention the incidents from the last week. Twice we have left requests for call back so as to not wait in line. One call back came 6 days later, the other 4 days later.
We found out you have a new set of packages one that is $5 less per month than we are paying. Found out purely by accident.
This is just a taste, never mind that the phone appointment I was to have with Rick that needed rescheduling never got rescheduled as his assistant never got back to me with a new time.

I use mind-body as an employee at a massage studio. I like the ease of checking my schedule from anywhere and having my client's soap notes a click away.

Hello. I wanted to provide some feedback on how you can further improve your software. Our business gets a lot of new products all the time. It would be great if we could format an excel spreadsheet for input to upload new products, as opposed to creating them individually.

We love Fredrick for boosting our income and targeting clients who have not been in for awhile. The campaigns are easy to use and track. It makes for no thinking marketing so that you can focus on other things than coming up with ways to get your customer's interest.

Amazing - I love Mind Body!

Mind Body has been the backbone for my business for over 10 years now and I couldn't operate without it. The software continues to evolve and I'm forever amazed by how much there is that it can do that I still don't know about. It is a complex piece of software to get to grips with if you wish to use it to it's full potential but the tech support and overcall customer service is second-to-none.

Mind Body has been an awesome way to grow my business and keep track of progress. I has been so helpful in keeping track of what classes work and what doesn't. Customer service is great once you get through. I have had to sit on hold for long periods of time trying to get through and the music they play while I hold is painful! Having said that overall it has been a great experience. I probably wouldn't have to call so much if I was more tech savy. Sometimes I just need a human to walk me through things

The more our business uses MindBody Online, the more I ask myself, "Why did we wait so long to jump on board?" For over one year, we tried different products, but nothing seemed to fit. Until a friend told us about MindBody. Now, two years later, it is the backbone of our business. I am continuing to implement MindBody features every month, which makes our business run even smoother. The tech support team is stellar. Great value, great service! Stop your search...you have found the perfect product!

Dont waste your time or money

It provides a lot of features but the system is buggy as hell and bogs down a lot.
Support can fix whatever if you have the time. Other then that usual problems of a CA based company, seems they are to busy admiring what a great working environment they have created for their staff and forgotten its equally if not more important to be providing the client with the best product The price is going up so now I really have to say goodbye to them as currently I feel this is only worth about $45/mo not $85

As a small home bases business of 1 - was surprised at the jump in monthly fee. Yes it is convenient but not really sure if the rising cost can keep me going. especially when I have quieter times. So many of my clients still wont use the program - they say they are too busy??? so they end up bringing cash then I have to set their pass up and do all the bookings. Not your fault I know but then I receive higher bills from ezi debit. However for the ones that are using it - it is awesome.

Very efficient for a small business!

I love that not only can you build specials to send out to patients, but also monthly newsletters. AND appointment reminders which help drop down your no show rate.
