not great at all

this system is very very complicated! it takes many many hours to set up, lots of telephone calls with support, which at first is good, but after the initial set up period, their support is really not great. The system is too complex to get your head around, and the terminology it uses is too American, which is difficult for us in the UK because we do not call things the same as in the US.,
I am currently searching for another booking system. Also it is extremely expensive to run.

Many issues lately

I am not sure what is going on lately but MBO is not running smoothly. Notes are popping up that clients owe money when they paid 6 months prior, auto emails going out in advance of appointments, clients being charged for memberships months after cancellation. It reflects poorly on our business. Liveedit was a total Nightmare and MBU was a waste of money and seemed like a big sales pitch for more MBO & partner services. Hugely disappointing. We are evaluating other options at this time.

Make the cost back ten fold!

I was hesitant at first due to cost. But, it more than pays for itself. I don't know how they do it, but they retrieve old lost customers. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

WORST SOFTWARE EVER

We tried to use Mind Body for about 6 months and completely scrapped the system and went back to pen & paper for our business. We came out of the tech / software world and couldn't believe how difficult it was to use and how much time we spent managing our business. Clearly anyone who is successful on this software is paying someone to be the Mind Body administrator...otherwise, it truly makes no sense and is convoluted, hard to use, and they have the worst customer service to boot!

Used to love it but price became way too much for my budget

This is great for bigger businesses, but not very many options for small businesses. Used to be way more affordable but over the years, they'd increase their price each year. I handled it fine until they jumped the price even higher.

MindBody are money hungry and are not supportive.

MindBody's sales reps will call you incessantly to set up your account offering you everything under the moon, but as soon as you become a client with an automatic billing payment, they lose all interest in you and won't support you. Furthermore, they will change your billing amount without any notification and then make it impossible for you to talk to a real person about the increase. And not just a small increase - nearly 70%. BEWARE

Very Good Software

I like that Mind body is constantly updating. Also, they have apps for both clients and teachers that are really easy to use. Every once in a while we get caught in a hang up with mindbody, but it is rare when the software doesn't fit our needs. The billing can also get confusing when looking between accounts, payments, and classes owed. Over all, this is a do all software, which allows students to book and pay online, and we have been very happy with the service.

I had not used the software for months or done any set-up because I was so intimidated. Then I got connected with Rachelle Tripoli and she was exactly who I needed to walk me through the steps of getting it up and running. She was positive, encouraging, and was tuned in to my particular business. It felt like she really wanted me to be successful and was my biggest fan. Rachelle made a huge difference in my experience of the software. She is outstanding!

Set up first store in December 2014, second store in Feb 2015, third store currently underway

Our set up has been challenging due to our business model being a DOG grooming and daycare service - not a human spa. This means we need to collect data on both the owner of the dog but more importantly the details about each dog that is groomed or attending day care at our stores. This made our initial set up more complicated and has taken time to work out the best process to apply. Mind Body has not had much experience in supporting a dog business.

Solid Fitness Service Management System

This is an excellent tool for managing fitness schedules across studios. The only downside is that individual studios require separate logins on the same platform, detracting from the end user experience.

We love Frederick!

We have enjoyed the ease of use that Frederick provides us and helps fill a void we had in keeping up with prior clients and maintaining contact. Frederick saves us time and helps make us money as well.

I am new with MINDBODY and so far I am happy with the training of the software. I received my training with one person Heather who was patient with me and answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with what we went over in the session. The phone app is also easy to maneuver around. Knowing there is always help a phone call away is comforting. MINDBODY has helped make my business life less stressed and is cheaper than a secretary!

Great app for keeping track of appointments!

It is great for scheduling customers and it is extremely intuitive.

MindBody University is awesome!

It taught me how important it is to manage KPIs and provided a layout with step by step instructions and reports to pull to monitor them. You learn so much wile you are there it is somewhat difficult to take it all in. But, they provide a booklet and a thumb drive with all of the slides and documents you need to take it with you when you go. I have only been able to implement a few of the things I learned but it has made a big difference.

My massage therapist and my local gym use this software and it is so easy to schedule, change appointments as well as select different companies utilizing this program.

As a salon owner/administrator/consultant - I encounter a number of different platforms and types of software out there, and none is as easy to use or introduce to a salon culture as MindBody. You can't beat the platform, customer service and overall functionality. Said simply: They Rock.

Mindbody definitely gets it!
With 27 years in the hair industry, 8 years as a national educational director for L'Oreal Professionnel, 14 years as a salon owner, and 43 years of tech-nerd; I've seen a lot. Mindbody nails it! From their cloud based software, to their multiple apps, they seem to stay not only relevant, but forward thinking.
Mindbody, for anyone that is thinking about switching over... descision made... period.

Mindbody software is an awesome way to manage business and impress customers at the same time.

I have never regretted buying Mindbody online to manage my yoga studio and infrared sauna business. I love the ability to stay close to what is going on in my business while away and on the fly. My teachers and customers are happy and I love that support help is just a phone call away. I haven't found anything that mindbody can't handle, fix, and change to fit the management of my business. Wish I would have bought this years ago.

MINDBODY Fitness Software

Not for beginners.

I just started my own massage business. It is just me. It is kind of expensive if all you will be using is the booking portion or the basic features.

MindBody works for my business!

I was hesitant to join MindBody because of the cost. However, after seeing how easy it is to use and incorporate my website with MindBody I was sold. I get quick and through help anytime I need it 24 hours a day. My customers love it and I am very satisfied. All the pros out weigh any cons. The only con is that you need HealCode to might the site work efficiently. Which is more money. My I have seen an increase in business.

I was lead to believe this software would fill my needs and unfortunately after signing up it...

unfortunately this did not fit our needs so we did not get any benefits from it.

Definitely not user friendly

Definitely not easy to set up! Takes about 6 months to a year to set up! Shouldn't charge us a penny until we actually have it set up and functional. The one free training session given in the beginning is not enough. I see the potential, but too much leg work for me. Set it up for me, and I might stay. Unless your running a high volume operation Clients/money , this is not for you. Their are easier cheaper alternatives.

This is a review of the MINDBODY EXPRESS app for business owners. This app enables me to run my small business - a boxing and fitness gym - from literally anywhere in the world with WiFi or cellular service. I can view class attendance, book and cancel clients, sell products and services, make appointments for my staff, add / edit / terminate memberships and more from the comfort of my mobile phone.

Easy Flexible Setup and Use

My current scheduler software is limited. I need to have one calendar that I use across multiple service options. I need to quickly be able to block off days on my schedule and know that all of my services are impacted at the same time.

clients unable to schedule , over lapping appointments , administrative sight not working

I got this system in march and it is oct. and I am still dealing with double clients names without emails ,overlapping appointments, and much more . I would never recommend this sight

I have enjoyed MindBody. It has helped me find a lot of different wellness services in my area without all the hard work of googling things individually. I like that it also keeps it all in a calendar for me.

Mixed Review

Customer service friendly, but there is not a way to easily print a useable schedule for the day. Their printable version is difficult to use. You cannot print a side-by-side schedule of what is happening in your establishment as it is viewable from the appointment scheduling tab. People have been requesting this feature which is very much needed for over 2 years now and no one listens. It is very frustrating.
