Simple and good product to use

I've used this product as a consumer and found it to be a good customer experience. Think it's a good solution for fitness institutions.

Frederick pays for itself every month and for a business owner, that is huge for me. I love that it does not spam my guests and doesn't overwhelm them with emails.

This Software Does NOT Work For Me

2nd year and we are ready to cancel

It's taken over a year to setup and now that we are approaching the second year in business, we will be moving to new software. The software is outdated, not mobile friendly (seriously, still?) and very expensive. If I had any shares in MB I would sell now because it feels very much like they have given up on trying to develop the software any further - they just keep making excuses, rather than progress.

too slow and not so effective when using google chrome pages do not refresh as quickly especially when signing in , reporting systems also need refreshing with dates they default to some weird dates, statements are not so clever either when preparing to send , may biggest issue with MB is the inability to have payment online and been using it for nearly 2 years now and still this issue has not been sorted

I am ALWAYS so pleased with the customer service at MINDBODY including the different ways an owner can reach out. Sometimes I use the online chat, sometimes the email option and if I can't hold the line they option to receive a call back is amazing.

Using MB at a Yoga Studio

My yoga studio used MB because it is the most widely used scheduling software in our area. Students are familiar with using it and have little to no problem signing up for classes, paying for memberships, etc. On the back-end, it is fairly intuitive to use and I am able to set up different staff permissions that work well for the different people working at the studio.

As a business manager who takes great pride in their administrative systems, MindBody goes above and beyond in exceeding my expectations with their products and services.

After switching over from another software, our experiences have been top notch. From the data migration and VIP training, to the tech support and platform upgrades, there is not a more complete product out there on the market!

Great concept, but app needs tweaking

It does need tweaks, but it has saved time in my travels or regular day while searching for new types of physical activities.

Save your time. Don't evenjoy bother

Far to complicated to use. It takes up all your time. I got rid of it and instantly felt healthier when I did.

Thanks for nothing Mindbody you wasted a month and nearly $300 of my time and money.

The only reason you didn't get t star on customer service is because I called today to cancel it but being a Sat there was nobody around to help.... not good enough I should be able to cancel 24/7

Honest Review

Just a Large Box

This is a large box I see used by many businesses.... unfortunately, this box did not fit our business. Our studio needs complete flexibility and simple navigation for our users, but somehow the mindbody workflow does not really align with us... there seemed to be many extraneous hurdles to getting set up and running with mindbody, and we eventually gave up and moved on. Not a fit for all.

All in one platform

I Am So impressed with the fact that I hated tech stuff, I like it now!!

Pro - business comes from linked web pg to software that clients I have never met or shook a hand, or had to solicit, just land on my books
It spoon feeds my contractors business!!
The help to run it comes from people who are live and very patient with me !!
No Con.....best business move I have made and I am not even using this thing to all of its potential !!

Aggressive Dishonest

I didn't get a single refferal from the site. They encouraged me to offer a bait and switch discount on their promotional page so they can take extra commissions. I don't do business that way. I canceled my account and they continued to bill as I hadn't seen their followup email. Overall the software is confusing and clumsy as a trainer and business owner at multiple locations and studios.

Warning to anyone thinking about using MindBody

They are only after your money in whatever way they can. The monthly fees are ridiculous for the service you receive. They want you to pay an incredible amount to "learn" their software, but in actuality it is a game to them. Overall, I would NEVER recommend this to any business. They fall way short of their own hype. Stay away! Stay far away! Of course, this is just my humble opinion.

great software bit challenging to set up as a martial arts school

Wish MB would spend more efforts with the martial arts side of the software development. If the platform resembled the needs of a martial arts system it would be be more beneficial for those in the industry. Having to sacrifice the use dune to the software being designed for the spa, yoga, pt style systems makes it a bit challenging. Other than that the software is designed well.

Class schedules

Being more aware of other studios, their schedules, and prices is helpful.

Horrible Horrible Software

People in the company try to help but I had nothing but issues since day 1!! I spent hours on the phone trying to fix every glitch...finally I canceled and they wouldn't give me any money back even though I was unable to use their system from the start! I am an exclusive airbrush tanning salon and only offer about 5 -7 variations!!! Would NEVER suggest using this company.

Frederick allows me to forget about filling in the gaps when I have slow days. I can keep clients up to date on things as well.

After owning a larger gym and the past and having a more extensive software, I was excited to use Mindbody. It was simple, cost effective and did everything I needed. After 2 1/2 years I am still happy but wish a few updates on the app would be made. I also believe the credit card fees run high in comparison to others and the lag time to receive deposits is a bit long.

Great quality system!

I was pitched this software over the ohone and had to try it. I found installation very painless. Tech support was very friendly and helpful not to mention i barely needed any help. The programming is fairly simple and easy to use, even when your not a computer wize. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. I promise you'll enjoy it!

Didn't have an issue with tech support, they helped out anytime I had to call.

Expensive and not friendly!

I had a very bad experience with Mind Body.
Is not a friendly software and you have to adapt to the software and not the other way around!

They charge one month in advance to teach you how to "set it up" and then if you want to cancel there is a 30 days notice period which they charge.

Don't waste your time and money! There are much better softwares out there!

Happy we decided to use mindbody. Also is a great price for everything you get with the pkgs. I love the app. To be mobile, run classes from my smart phone to check in members. Easy, easy, easy!!!

Exactly what I needed to help make my business run more smoothly

MindBody has meant I can be playing with my 3 kids away from the studio and change an instrustor's availability with a 'click'.
My clients, for the majority, manage their own schedules and payments online or through the App.
I am able to do reports for all sorts of requirements making it a positive experience to work 'on' my business not just 'in' it.

Tax Season Relief

We are Texas' largest yoga and tai chi studio. We do business in the studio and on-line retail. MindBody reports makes quarterly sales tax a snap. In two mouse clicks I see our sales and tax responsibility. Before mind body sales tax accounting took us days. Now it is minutes! If you want a great return on investment I highly recommend MINDBODY.

Terrible company

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Terrible customer service. Software is inefficient. I cancelled the contract within 1 month. I processed $28 of credit cards transactions and they charged me $44 of merchant processing and will not refund it. I returned the equipment within 20 days and did not get a full refund either. Bad business

Daily client management

The most user friendly and performant software I have never used so far. As a business owner I was looking for a software that was intuitive, flexible and time saver . Mindbody is all that and even more. On top of this the help desk support is just fantastic, I have never had to wait and they always find a solution to your problem. By far the best!

Good product but not for the price

I used MindBody for a year. It did what I needed it to do but it was such a pain to learn. Once they raised the price it wasn't worth it to stay. I found an even better product that allowed to create both individual and class appointments as well as sending text reminders, for half the price. Customer service was always quick to respond, though!
