It's cheaper than others similar tools. The support team is very good (and in speak Spanish if you want.)
It has lees limitations on their subscription plans than others.
Good relation between price and quality.

Nachteile

Sometime connectors don't work. But in most cases it's a problem with data sources.

They have an amazing customer support, communication is so easy and they are always ready to help us to create the queries we aren't able to. In adition they are always happy to learn more about aur needs and to be propposed with new sources to be created.

It is not about Dataslayer bu about the change of KPIs names in the platforms, since they do the reporting more complicated

With Dataslayer, I can accomplish things that I couldn't with other connectors, allowing me to create more comprehensive reports in Looker Studio.

As a first-timer venturing into the realm of digital marketing and analytics, Dataslayer has helped internal operations in creating dashboards, monitoring and reporting, and automating data tasks. Most of the metrics that I'm looking for could be found in Dataslayer data connectors - some may require a bit of learning to understand its usage, the methodology on how the data was collected, etc. Ultimately, the analytics team in my organisation has an overall positive impressions towards using Dataslayer and looking forward to keep continuing it.

Nachteile

For now, there hasn't been a lot of issues in using Dataslayer. The only con I've experienced is the extent of which data can be combined with another - on Looker Studio, sometimes they couldn't be married to visualise data that I want.

The Customer Support. They're very friendly and fast, yet a litlle slow managing the requests and solving the problems (I think this problem comes from the IT department really).

I really liked the ease of using the tool, it is very intuitive and it is not limited by the number of users but by the API calls. This is quite good, as it allows other people in the agency to have the opportunity to use the tool without having to pay additional costs for new users, which are usually expensive.

You have to really think about what data you want to get to avoid consuming API calls trying to pick the right metrics. However, once you have them, everything flows great.

Dataslayer has allowed me to automate many internal processes in terms of tracking figures and automating time in reports. This allows me to better understand the figures to be able to make good conclusions, this is thanks to the optimization of time when calling up the data. I have my reports updated at the click of a button.

Dataslayer is not yet able to link some platforms despite it's in process of development

I use the Google Sheet addon which makes it easy to feed data into other destinations. The connectors are plentiful, including the usual suspects like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads, Google Analytics (Universal & GA4), Bing Ads, and others, but there are also reliable connectors for platforms like TikTok, MailChimp, Shopify, and more.

I wish we had the ability to add specific tabs to different schedules with the same Google Sheets file.
