Shipping software that speeds things up
ShipStation has been crucial to our workflow and we'd have wasted hours a week if we were still having to manually enter data. The staff at ShipStation is helpful when you need them but they COULD do a better job implementing features that customers request.
Vorteile
We like that you can use ShipStation to import and update orders on your shopping cart software with very little effort.
Nachteile
The cost may be prohibitive for users only using minimal feature set, but still a good value compared to manually hand-jamming data.

Software for shipping that expedites the process
Any business wishing to manage its shipping operations expertly should consider shipstation, in my opinion. I adore the functional, powerful features. The business may easily connect with a variety of marketplaces, shopping carts, order management systems, and other systems from a single, straightforward platform.
Vorteile
I appreciate how quickly and well ShipStation handles the order inventory. The company can communicate with many carriers and order sources in one location. It is extremely well integrated with the primary shipping provider, which speeds up shipment management operations.
Nachteile
When several people use it simultaneously, it will load slowly, which is inconvenient if you need to do the task quickly. Most particularly if you generate return label.

Shipstation - easy to use for basic shipping needs
Shipstation was one of the first tools that helped me build an e-commerce business. From day one, it has helped our team ship and keep track of over 1 million customer orders. As the business grew, we were able to use it as our backend to communicate the orders with our 3PL. This is definitely a needed tool for any small to medium business that ships out constantly.
Vorteile
The software is easy to learn and use. It also integrated with many e-commerce platforms and other tools. Its API is also easy to use if custom development is needed.
Nachteile
The software is slow. It can take a few minutes to load the website. Although they make constant minor updates, they are slow to introduce new features.

Simply the best shipping software for multi-channel sellers
Vorteile
We have been using ShipStation for the past 4 years and it's a lifesaver. They make it extremely easy to print large batches of labels and they save us money with discounted USPS rates.
The automation profiles are a huge time saver. Once I ship a product once I can save the details and it will automatically set those same details every time I ship. This makes it, so I can manage hundreds of orders at a time without having to click into each one to set the shipping details.
Nachteile
There are USPS errors every once in a while when we go to printing labels. However, they are usually resolved quickly.

A Giant, Full-Featured Timesaver! Just What My WooCommerce Site Needed
This is my third month using ShipStation, and I am still thoroughly impressed with everything this tool has done for my small but growing business. The integration with WooCommerce is seamless. I now use ShipStation both for my eCommerce store and my subscription box program (currently about 480 shipments per month in total).
Here are some of the major ways ShipStation has helped my business so far:
-Removed our reliance on PayPal Shipping, so we have been able to add a one-page credit card checkout option that has increased our conversion rate by about 30%
-Simplified the entire fulfillment process, so that everything from printing packing slips to the final shipping labels happens in the same dashboard, making it easy to train employees
-No more going back and manually marking 200 subscription box orders as shipped in the WooCommerce backend. ShipStation handles it automatically, so I always know exactly which orders have gone out
-Automatically sends tracking info to customers-- PayPal did not do this with recurring payments, so the subscription box customers previously had to request tracking info if desired. Saves time and gives the customers what they want before they need to ask.
Essentially, everything my business needs in a shipping solution, ShipStation offers. My only regret is not trying it out sooner! I've also been impressed with the customer service. I had several questions during my trial, and always received a courteous reply within 12 hours.

Nachteile
I've run into only one minor frustration-- I would like to see an option to print labels one at a time on 8.5x11" sheets, instead of only two at a time. You end up with half-used sheets from odd-numbered batches, and have to wait for another odd-numbered batch to use them. It's a tiny complaint. Every other feature I've wanted has been there.

Shipstation makes life easier
Saves time, saves money, since time is money! It really has made my life so much easier. It saves hours a day.
Vorteile
Having a place to aggregate all of your orders in one place is great. I love the automation rules that you can apply which automatically applies the correct shipping parameters per your specifications. The fact that you can enter all of your shipping information and print off packing lists along with your shipping labels is just great.
Nachteile
I do wish there was a little more control over the automation, since sometimes items get tagged wrong and I have to go in and manually change shipments. I also wish the labels printed a little sharper. I know that my printer can print sharper, but the labels are a bit pixelated. Not a deal breaker in any way, though.

Shipstation rocks!
Vorteile
This has HUGELY SUPER BIG TIME improved our shipping process. We now can easily make shipping labels, print on our Zebra thermal printer, and instantly make return labels. We can track where everything is at (outgoing, returns, etc) quickly. I am genuinely in love with ShipStation. They've done a really great job.
Nachteile
Sometimes it's a bit slow to load. Also, sometimes FedEx rates do not load but I think that may be a FedEx API issue and not related to ship station. Other than that, I really cannot think of any downsides as it's really a top notch shipping management service.

Saves a ton of time
Vorteile
I had an ecommerce website and I connected ShipStation to my shopify website. This made it quite easy because I no longer had to visit my shopify website to fulfill orders. Instead, I could go to ShipStation and refresh my list of orders. From there, I could print labels directly and fulfill my orders. Previously, I used to go to the USPS store and stand in line to pay for an order. Now, I was able to print my labels and just drop them off without the line. Yes, I can also just print labels directly from USPS's website, but then I have to manually enter all the shipping details and contact info. This way made it easier. If it was more expensive, I proably would stick with USPS's label printing site, but at this price it was worth it.
Nachteile
It take some getting used to... It can be pretty complicated and it has a lot of features. I did have issues with getting my shipstation account to communicate with my Dymo printer. The ShipStation desktop app was pretty finnicky and often had issues. I had to delete and redownload the app a few times during my time using ShipStation.

More time troubleshooting than shipping.
Absolute garbage but a client we ship for insist on using so we are stuck dealing with all the headaches. The amount of time and money that is lost due to this platform is beyond words. Many days of paid shippers just watching spinning wheels and not being able to ship while we try to troubleshoot. Avoid at all cost.

Its has good aesthetics but thats about where it ends.
Nachteile
Buggy, slow, fails to work many days. Connect software very buggy and presents many errors. At its best when everything is working it is slow and the UI slows down shipping as it does not seem to have been built by anyone that actually ships products for a living.

Absolutely No Customer Support
I've been using SS for years for all my e-commerce businesses. They recently launched an update that's terribly buggy. I only recently needed help from their team and they are *literally* impossible to reach. I was forced to email their sales team and I still haven't heard back after a week.

Nachteile
No customer support, little to no innovation, many bugs, and many small annoying limitations that make using this software difficult at times.

Streamlined, quick, and scalable shipping solution for e-commerce based businesses.
Vorteile
Shipstation is easy to use, allowing most of the tasks you complete with them to be turned into automated tasks for future use. The dashboard is easy to jump off from and get started, and it is easy to integrate with your existing website. In our experience, we integrated with Wordpress, and it provided a seamless transition from order to shipping that cut down on our time immensely. Shop station is also affordable - it's plans scale in such a way that you will be growing as a business at a faster rate than needing to upgrade your plan - it's a cost I would not be against paying when needed.
Nachteile
Support was adequate, but we were still left to figure out some basic troubleshooting ourselves. Luckily, integration and setup is easy enough, and so that troubleshooting didn't take too long. Honestly, it does its job well, with little complaints from us. I would say that it doesn't go outside of its' core competency at all - management of customers is not where it would need to be to actually use the software for any customer management tasks.

I'm done.
Shipping software is supposed to make shipping easy this software is a frustrating waste of time.

It worked great until they did an update to the interface now it's worthless.
Nachteile
I have used ShipStation for years they did an update about a year ago and it all went to shit after that, I constantly have to reset the printer to recognize the software and now I have spent an hour trying to print a label with no success. For some reason they are double entering sales so I have to delete one so it doesn't throw the totals out of wack. Looking up shipped packages some don't show up even though it was shipped. My clients are not receiving a tracking # email so I have to answer the "Where's my stuff email. Done.

Easy and fast to use, very much recommended
Vorteile
It's very easy to link all of your online stores so you can see all your orders on once screen. You can set presets for select items so you don't have to manually input shipping info every time as well. Customer support, the few times I've had to contact them, has been speedy and very helpful. This has made our shipping process so much faster and less of a headache.
Nachteile
I'd like some more customization options for packing slips, other than just adding my logo. Every once in a while, I'll initiate a manual refresh of my linked stores for orders and the site will hang, taking 5-10 minutes to refresh and pull in the orders. This isn't a common occurrence, but when it does happen, it's frustrating.

Difficult to imagine running a remote fulfillment center without Shipstation
I find that Shipstation has a very large learning curve. It takes time to train folks on it. However, as the title of my review suggests, I'd truly have a hard time envision running our fulfillment center remotely like we do.

I love the "combine orders" feature, along with the ability to quickly quote multiple carriers (shipping services)
Nachteile
Unfortunately, over time we discovered that we were actually paying for a higher rate with USPS for cubic pricing than we received through Shopify. This might not seem like a lot but when we offer free shipping, it's actually a significant problem.

ShipStation is easy to use but has a bit of lag time
Vorteile
It's great to have all couriers in the same application. It's much easier to compare and get rate quotes using the rate browser feature. We also use this tool to create return shipping labels.
Nachteile
The biggest con is the delay in pushing orders through from "picking" status in NetSuite to ShipStation. There's an even longer delay when cancelling orders in ShipStation to update in Netsuite.

Shipstation is extremely easy to use. I have multiple online stores that integrated seamlessly with the software. Shipstation assigns you an account representative that is always available to assist you with any questions, comments or concerns. You receive an automatic discount shipping with USPS with the included "Stamps.com" account which helps you stay competitive while increasing margins. The interface helps you stay organized and on-top of all of your order inquiries and keeps records of past transactions so you have everything you need.
Nachteile
Shipstation is easy to use once you get the hang of it. If it is your first time using a software program like this, definitely take the time to ask questions to your assigned account representative to ensure you learn the intricacies of the software and get up to speed as fast as possible.

Great way to have shipments from multiple marketplaces show up in one area
Overall ship station has made life selling on multiple marketplaces much easier.
Vorteile
I sell items on multiple online marketplaces and instead of shipping using each individual marketplace ship station makes it simple by importing orders from every marketplace you sell on. That way I log onto ship station and print all my labels from there. It automatically updates on each marketplace once the label is printed.
Nachteile
Search history only goes back about 6 months now it used to be longer. This can be a pain sometimes when trying to look up an older order

Software the keeps Fulfillment Running like Clockwork
Vorteile
This software has been a crucial part of our allowing our business to run like a large business. The feedback we've received from customers thanking us for the professional follow-up with tracking links allows them to track their shipment. This makes us look like a Big Player when in fact we are a small operation.
Nachteile
We had a card expire and it automatically disconnects from our Shopify store. Once I correct and update my card I did not realize I had to reconnect everything. That small issue lead to orders being delayed. I assumed once I updated my card everything was fine so better communication would have been helpful.

Never thought I could use a paid monthly tool, but ...
My website has been online for years and I always printed labels directly using the services included for free like eBay and USPS. I picked up a Dymo 4XL printer on a Black Friday Deal off Amazon and I couldn't use it for USPS directly. So I looked around and I was able to get a two-month trial to ShipStation. Never would I have thought I would be happy to pay a monthly fee for a service. It does so much that I used to do manually like leave eBay reviews after transactions, send out customer emails, and more. Definitely worth the money.
Vorteile
Easy printing of labels, almost automatically. Sends automatic emails to customers upon item shipping and delivery. Automatically leaves feedback on eBay so I don't have to remember to do it. Save on monthly Stamps.com monthly fees. Much much more.
Nachteile
I had to upgrade to a month service because of my monthly shipments, but apparently the emails it sends out is branded by ShipStation. Automatic printing of packing slips and/or shipping labels as the order is received. I would like packing slips so I can look at my orders without having to go to the website all the time. Maybe an extra tier of service. A way to classify a line item is shipping costs. I receive PayPal orders and the line item is seen as a sale item, not shipping.

Scalable shipping tool for ecommerce sites
Using it for the shipping of ecommerce sites I helped set up, its the best tool we've had to enable our shipping using multiple carriers.
Vorteile
Probably the easiest to use shipping enabler, very easy to use and updates very frequently with WordPress so you could make real-time changes on both platforms and the changes do reflect almost instantly. Very economical and customer service is quite helpful!
Nachteile
The payments can be a little delayed to be reflected on the user side as it might take 10mins to 2-3 hours for it to go through.

I have used several other shipping platforms and I think ship station leaves a lot to be desired. It is ok if you are just doing an average amount of shipments per day. I feel that it is not meant to to volume shipping at a fast rate.
Vorteile
The best part of ship station is that you can rate numerous shipping carriers at once. i can rate UPSG, Mail and UPSG with the information entered. It also supports hundered weight shipments, ground with freight pricing and sure post.
Nachteile
You can preload box sizes, but you can only pick those on the first box of the shipment. You cannot do a return easily unless a shipment to the customer was already done. You also can only do single packages for mail.

Amazing... as long as you don't have very many child variations.
Vorteile
It's easy to use and integrates with just about every sales channel.
Nachteile
I removed some starts because Shipstation does not work well for users with a large number of product variations. This is because the Product page displays a MINIMUM of 100 products per page. In our case, each product has dozens of child variations, so the page attempts to load data for THOUSANDS of variations. At best, the page takes several minutes to load. More often than not, it times out and our browser throws a "Page Unresponsive" message.
There's already a setting to change the number of products displayed per page, but the minimum is 100. This whole problem could be solved by adding an option to display only 10 products per page. This would boost the page load speed by 1,000%!

Only way to ship.
Hands down the best shipping managing program I've ever used. I get to sync numerous stores in just one account, it's simply amazing. Majority of stores are included but if not it's totally easy to set up with the API.
Vorteile
Cheap shipping rates
Easy to print and customize labels
Sync stores without risk of getting banned (if you have more than one eBay store etc).
Easy to track packages and cancel labels if printed by accident.
Nachteile
Not able to switch easily between accounts.
No phone (iOS) notifications when a order comes in.

After all the head aches...
Vorteile
My fiance and I started a small fine art company. One of our biggest hurdles was finding the appropriate shipping interface that met our needs. Ship station did just that. Their Rate Calculator gives you an overview of all the possible rates you can pay for a specific package. Their customization options are phenomenal, ranging from modifying shipping labels with or without logos, thank you message, packing slips, order summaries, and client notification templates that provide all the information the client needs regarding their package are all what makes shipstation amazing. There are too many to name!
Also, their customer service was super helpful for whatever our needs were. They were always quick about finding solutions to problems, most importantly, our customer service rep treated us like people and not just an account number. ShipStation meets all our needs and continues to excel our expectations! We highly recommend this company. Additionally, their set was a breeze and had no problems finding a compatible label printer. Amazing. It's totallly worth it's price.
Nachteile
There aren't many that we can think of. However, any of the issues that we did bump into were quickly resolved by our rep. One thing I can think of that does arise often is printer settings. It seems that ShipStation Connect (which enables your printers to be used with this web browser interface) tends to glitch often. Nothing a quick little restart won't solve.

ShipStation shoudl stay home
PayPal switched to this system and it is very obvious no one fully tested it before it being launched. In only a few days I found one error in use after another. They provided suggested work arounds and suggestions that make the amount of work to make it work opposite of what a good program should do. Do you need to switch from one browser to another every time you want to print a shipping label. Defeats the purpose of being able to use a computer. I have no choice at this time to use this until I find a another system. The one advantage was it was free, but the time wasted far exceeds the free cost.

Nachteile
It would be nice if it worked properly. It has some many problems it is not a software that was fully tested or designed. After many backs and forth with support to find out how to make it work. Will not work under FireFox so you need to use Chrome to get it to print a label without errors. Then to find a customer to print another label you can't search on there name but need to know this lengthy code to find them not reasonable and no way to find that code if weeks old. Has a list of mailing options but it is far from complete and so another work around.

Poor for international shipping.
Saves copying addresses out of Magento by hand.
Vorteile
Remote label printing works well. Does work with non-US based UPS accounts. Web based ... that's about it really.
Nachteile
Struggles with international shipments. Shipstation does not support multi-currency, so if you have more than one sales currency, you are hosed. Shipstation does not support shipping to any country that needs a special customs declaration (like NAFTA statement on US->Canada shipping) so for many countries, you will need to do a manual UPS shipment. Shipstation uses pounds or GRAMMES ... very few stores ship in grammes, mostly kg, which Shipstation does not support, so imported weights are always wrong. Does not support international returns. No "rule set" for allocating different countries/services to different carrier services ... etc etc You cannot easily see which shipments are attached to an order. Having printed a label in "orders" you cannot then print a packing slip afterwards, you have to do packing slip then label. Cannot easily print a UPS return label on the thermal printer .. can only email or download ... theres a workaround, but it's non-obvious. The multi-currency and customs failings are a pain for us :(

A lot of functionality that is useful for having multiple stores connected.

Shipstation is a software with a lot of features and built in functionality that makes it a top contender in the shipping software world. It is easy to manage multiple different stores/companies and ship with ease.
Nachteile
The inventory tracking is lacking. I would not recommend Ship Station for keeping track of your inventory or customers inventory as we have had issues as well as issues with warehouse locations not showing up on pick slips. Another downfall we have had with Ship Station in time lag. It seems to run extremely slow if we have more than 3,000 shipments in the software waiting to be sent.

I currently sell online merchandise on multiple marketplaces. Every since we started using Shipstation our shipping procedures have been more efficient, and much easier. This product is constantly being updated, upgraded, and integrated into other software packages. Thank you ShipStation!!

Perfect for parcel and tracking managements.
Tracking of parcels I can say is absolutely even easier with this tool.
Vorteile
Apart from the easier navigation of the tool itself, i am also a fan of the labelling of the items in a more comprehensive manner.
Nachteile
I didn't really see any downsides of this particular product as it was all smooth for me navigating it then.

Great shipping software that could use some minor tweaks
Great value for what it costs. Allows us to bring all order shipment tracking together to improve customer experience. Email notifications and returns page are a nice plus for the customer experience.
Vorteile
It has a very wide partner ecosystem and allows us to bring our orders all together into one system to check shipment tracking. The UI is clean and modern. The addition of an iOS app is a big plus and lets us fulfill orders on the go.
Nachteile
The ability to auto-correct addresses is great, but ShipStation should highlight these orders so that I can review what was corrected to determine if the change was good. Not all auto-corrects are...correct but overall it catches more of my mistakes then if there was no auto-correct. Support could use some improvement as some issues have required multiple attempts with different agents but generally I do get my issue reolved.

Central shipping hub for all ecommerce, including Walmart Marketplace
Shipstation makes fulfilling orders simple. I'm able to set rules and automation for orders coming in from my various storefronts (Walmart, Ebay, WooCommerce). I love the ability to instantly print to my thermal printer instead of having to ctrl+p, it saves a few seconds each order which adds up very quickly. I also like that it usually will tell me if another form of shipment is less expensive than my defaults.
Vorteile
It integrates with Walmart Marketplace. Currently no other shipping software works with Walmart. That said, it really is a good product.
Nachteile
Doesn't fully integrate with Etsy. It can import orders but is not able to add gift receipts. This is probably an issue more on Etsy's side, but as it is now, I still have to use Etsy's store interface to fulfill orders.

We are able to cancel, pause, and proceed with orders in real-time with Shipstation.
Vorteile
Its is super easy to navigate and it displays all the necessary information related to an account and order.

I cannot say enough good about ShipStation!
Vorteile
I absolutely love ShipStation and how easy it is to implement. It took hours out of our normal packing and shipping day!
Nachteile
The only thing I can say that is negative about ShipStation is that we have found every now and then a process will glitch out and we will have to re-institute it, but Customer Service was always there for us and able to help us get everything working smoothly again very quickly!

ShipStation
Shipstation has allowed my company to place all the orders for the multiple stores that we ship for in one secure, and well organized location. We can search orders through how they are to be shipped, or through what company they are through. When you are shipping out something, the process is very easy and saves a lot of time.
Vorteile
It is an easy way to combine a bunch of different order sites into one place. It is very well laid out, and very easy to use. Shipping has never been easier.
Nachteile
I have just had a few problems sometimes where the system would fail to update. Usually it is an easy fix and then work great again after.

Simple + Effective = Fantastic!
Vorteile
Easy to use, does everything we need. We integration with many selling channels, several carriers and have used ShipStation for over 2 years seamlessly.
Nachteile
The only think I wish ShipStation could do more with is inventory. There is basic inventory functionality but doesn't have robust inventory features such as managing inventory across multiple DCs/Sales channels, PO integration, forecasting, etc.

Shipstation is a solid backend platform
Excellent. There have been very little issues with the platform and Shipstation has made it easy to hold our fulfillment partner accountable.
Vorteile
I like the ease of use, how intuitive the interface is and how easy it is to create and modify orders. Mt team uses it daily, all day with very little problems. The backend automation has solved many of our problems and it has proven to be solid in place, between our Shopify store and our fulfillment partner, QuickBox. It is easy to filter out orders that are on hold, it is easy to split orders and to reconcile shipping/tracking on the backend, for the customer.
Nachteile
I have no 'cons' of shipstation. It has proven to be the solution we were looking for. The reporting is decent as well.

Overall, a streamlined approach to your shipping solutions with great customer service.
A significant increase in productivity in the workforce and also a key contributor in our streamlining of the business. The Shipstation team themselves are real joy to work with with excellent customer service. Shipstation is great and has genuinely solved a lot of our issues with regards to order fulfilment.
Vorteile
The simplification of the fulfilment process is second to none. The feature of bulk printing labels is incredibly helpful as it saves so much time, leading to increased productivity in fulfiling our order requests. Centralising all of our contracts with couriers has also been incredibly advantageous, saving a lot of time. The fact that this pulls across the shipping information of each individual customer really makes this system fool proof. It has allowed the company I work for to branch out and purchase it's own warehouse, and subsequently make huge savings by no longer outsourcing our storage, picking and packing solutions.
Nachteile
It can be a little tricky with regards to actually setting up integrations, however this is only a minor limitation due to the fantastic customer service I was given.

Essential for Small and Medium Bussinesses
Vorteile
The software is clean, easy to implement and saves hours of time. The UI is great and the cost is average.
Nachteile
I did not like when they tried to implement a UI but it looks like that has been put on the back-burner the last few years. Keep it the same and we will be happy.

Great time saver
Vorteile
-Allows me to consolidate orders from eBay, Etsy, and Amazon all into one location, which saves a LOT of time over doing orders site-by-site. Still can't believe that Amazon makes you print a single order at a time, ShipStation would be worth the cost for convenience of Amazon orders alone if that was the only place I sold.
-The Pick List feature is especially useful, as I typically pull all product I need for each day's orders before printing labels to make sure there are no errors in regard to stock. Now I don't have to go through site-by-site, it's all in one place.
Nachteile
-ShipStation doesn't yet have integration with Etsy's gift wrap and gift message service. It's rather new so I hope they will add this soon so I can turn on that setting in my shop.
-It seems that if you have more than 50 orders and want to apply a pre-made shipping setting to all of them at once, it bugs out and you have to select less than 50 at a time individually to apply the setting. With fewer orders the select-all/apply-to-all feature works fine.

ShipStation - Making retail life easy
Overall, I am satisfied with ShipStation. Its integration with our website makes it effortlessly easy to get orders out the door. I do not picture ever letting go of ShipStation.
Vorteile
Believe it or not, it's the little things that I enjoy about ShipStation. One of my favorites is the "Tags" feature. Being able to color coordinate particular orders is great! Aside from placing orders "On Hold", certain orders have to be identified and tagged. By tagging them, this allows us to avoid errors. Again, it's the little things that make a difference.
Nachteile
Shipstation's "Rate Calculator" could be better. Every time I utilize this feature, it gives me inaccurate rates. I mainly utilize this feature to give accounts quoted rates but after a handful of them turned out to be incorrect, I've had to go around it.

Terrible customer support for buggy software
One problem is that it fails to notify the original store that the order has been shipped unless I manually ask it to make the order as complete. (Otherwise, it sits in my list of orders "awaiting shipment". Sometimes they disappear from the list, then reappear a day or two later. When I manually mark the order as "Complete", it then double counts the shipment. I have a plan that allows 50 shipments per month. So when I reached 25 shipments, it double counted them as 50 shipments and would not allow any further shipments without upgrading to the 500 shipment per month plan (which I don't need and can't afford). There is basically no telephone support from Shipstation and email support is absurdly slow and unhelpful, with each response taking a few days. This is a time-sensitive business so this is really a problem. I asked them for phone support - finally heard back with an offer for phone support 3 days from now during a time when I am not available. So basically I can count on waiting a few more days for the next useless support email.

I liked the fact that this software synced with online sales through places like Amazon and initially seemed to work pretty well.
Nachteile
A few months ago, Shipstation released a new version and I have had many problems with it. It simply does not work as advertised. Things that were seamless before no longer work. The fact that they have not fixed these issues after a few months is very frustrating. I would not recommend them any longer for shipping.

Still learning but we love the ease and the savings.
Vorteile
We were using UPS however over the holiday they started running slow and we saw this as an option. After shipping over 1000+ individual packages on multiple platforms we had less than 1% missed delivery or late delivery. The postal service really did a great job and this tool really helped us keep everything streamlined. This is relatively intuitive and was easy to install. The savings are wonderful as is the ability to gain specific information relative to each customer, tracking number and so forth. It makes it a real time and money saver. We are now able to pass that along to our customers.
Nachteile
Sometimes the address checker shows the address as wrong even though it isn't. Also when using a thermal printer it has a tendency to drop off and needs to be reloaded. I wish we could print a summary for the Post Office the way you can on Stamps.com - that would make things much quicker and easier when we have to drop off packages. It may be possible, as of our usage 60 days in, we haven't found it yet.
