Best Tool Ever - SAVES ME SO MUCH TIME
BEST EVER! Best money spent.
Vorteile
Automated Rules are amazing. My weights, sizes an shipping options automatically pull in. Being able to easily print shipping labels for Amazon, Ebay, ETSy and my website couldn't be any easier.
Nachteile
This tool is great. I wish they could help negotiate better rates, but they do help provide some level of discounts with carriers.

An easy solution to a big headache!
Vorteile
Shipping products can be a logistics nightmare for small to medium size business. ShipStation provided an easy means to track my shipments and remove them from inventory quickly.
Nachteile
ShipStation could be more intuitive to use. It also lacks substantial reporting options. I would prefer to be able to dig into my sales data on this platform.

Can't ship without ShipStation.
Vorteile
It's simple to use, powerful, and best feature is that it allows you to easily compare all negotiated rates between carriers all in one platform. The amount of money I have saved using this software pays for itself ten times over!
Nachteile
Setting up automation is a little difficult at first, but once you do a couple, you get the hang of it.

Brilliant app that saves time for ecommerce clients.
It makes the fulfillment/shipping process almost fun! You can also get discounts on rates from FedEx and Stamps.com, and get a free stamps account for signing up, so it almost pays for itself!
Vorteile
It's a fantastic way for you to consolidate shopping carts into one app to streamline the shipping process. Orders import automatically, and you can make bulk shipping labels for all your orders in a few clicks, and print them, automatically as well. Works with all major shopping carts/marketplaces.
Nachteile
It currently is more focused on orders, and not items, so it can be difficult to get custom items to show properly, making a couple of extra steps to fulfill some orders. Still saves an incredible amount of time for most orders.

Shipstation - Gets the job done!
Overall its great shipping software for an inexpensive price.
Vorteile
Shipstation gives us a simple and centralized system to ship out all our orders. Our orders from Shopify, Amazon, manual orders, etc flow through our inventory management software Stitch Labs which then routes it to Shipstation. Thus giving us one place for our order fulfillment center to work with. You can easily connect your FedEx, UPS, USPS accounts making it easy to just print labels and ship. There's nothing fancy about Shipstation, it's a pretty basic software but the main thing is that it works.
Nachteile
For some reason, the software interface Windows 2000ish. Feels old but it does the job. One thing I would like to see is if we could create shipment templates. We use Shipstation to ship out samples and we manually enter those orders into Shipstation. However, if the sample orders are the same and only the addressee is different, we need to input the sample order details for each time. It would be nice if we had some sort of shortcut or pre-saved template we could select to save time.

Wonderful Platform -- Waiting One Additional Support from SquareSpace Integration
We love Shipstation. Great customer service and it has made fulfillment so much easier for us! Shipstation integrates more or less seamlessly with Squarespace Commerce and takes what was once a multi-hour process every day, into something that takes us 15 minutes or so.

Nachteile
Communication with Squarespace for shipment confirmation emails. Currently, there is no way to turn these off in Squarespace, and Shipstation's custom tracking emails are far better and more professional. Our customers are getting two emails because there is no way to turn this off on Squarespace. I know this is not a Shipstation problem, but just wanted to bring it to your attention so Squarespace can resolve the issue quicker!
Also-- getting up and running on Stamps.com was very clunky and required a fair bit of back and forth. If there is any way to make this as seamless as signing up on your platform, that would be wonderful.

A lifesave if you handle your own order fulfillment
Vorteile
ShipStation has been a lifesaver for me once I discovered it. It has saved me so much time - with one single interface to check orders from all of my stores, easy shipping purchasing and pack list and label printing. On top of the ease of use, it has also saved me money on my shipping costs - with deeply discounted commercial rates, and access to cubic rates (this was huge for me), it is the lowest cost shipping by far, even beating Amazon's discounts. I try not to think about how much time and money I could have saved if I had discovered them two years sooner! I know this might sound over the top, but it is the single best resource I have discovered this year for my small business.
Nachteile
It doesn't seem to retain the default shipping weights / settings for items in my Square store - it would be great if it had the ability to identify items from different stores (i.e. Amazon, Etsy, Square, etc) as the same item, with the same weights and shipping settings.

Exactly what we were looking for
We had a great experience with ShipStation while we had it. As a newer business, we just couldn't afford to maintain the subscription. It's a real shame since it really increased the customers' overall experience with our company.
Vorteile
We love how ShipStation integrates with our Stamps.com account. Our favorite features are how they keep track of the packages you ship to each person, the value, and the items. You can keep track of promotional items this way or keep detailed notes. Another of our favorite features is the branded tracking page that your customers will see with the tracking code. It looks great and helps give your site a more polished and professional look.
Nachteile
The monthly subscription for this is just way too expensive. Even with the amazing features that make a business look awesome and really helps the customers, it's just way too expensive for smaller or starter businesses.

Good software to use if you are selling products on Ebay or Amazon
You get great discounts by utilizing certain shippers which include Federal Express and the United States Postal Service.
Vorteile
The best thing about this software is that you get exclusive discounts on shippers. You get approximately forty percent off the shipping rates when using USPS and about thirty percent off the rates when using Federal Express. This software helps us to cut down on employee time spent on our shipping needs.
Nachteile
The software comes with online support but the hours offered for this online support is limited to only business hours. Since we ship around the clock, it would be nice to have 24 hour customer service support.

Shipstation is Easy to Use
Vorteile
Easy to use. We love how we can see pictures of the item sold inside the customer's order information. Also good that we can change a customer's shipping address if it's incorrect. The sales charts are helpful. It's easy on the eyes. Easy for people who have basic computer skills. Their customer support has always been good. We get on the "chat" thingy and they're very helpful and easy to understand.
Nachteile
Hopefully the monthly price will go down some. EBay keeps trying to get us to use their shipping service because it's free, which is very tempting, but eBay's shipping service doesn't have some of the features that Shipstation has yet, so we're sticking with Shipstation.

Good Product; Terrible Customer Support
The software is an excellent idea, however the company behind it is less than honest in blaming others for their failures and then failing to take responsibility
Vorteile
Usability, easily check between shippers and import sales. However multiple shipments and checking history usability is poor
Nachteile
Unfortunately their customer service has failed greatly. They hid multiple charges per shipment via USPS and blamed Stamps.com even though Stamps actually showed these charges, which is how we found out.

A well deserved 5 Stars for ShipStation!
We have tried other systems and have found ShipsStation to be superior with regard to not only price but ease of use and ability to perform.
Topdrawerenterprises and JackValesPooter.com have become used to the ease of use and simple integration that we experience with ShipsStation if there is something we have a concern or question about, their support depth is always able to quickly help. We also enjoy ShipStations support forum and have experienced a fantastic twitter community as well.
We are a small company with three internet marketing businesses. We use an ecommerce platform for our stores and also run two ebay stores, Amazon and our own website and ShipStation simply integrates all of them seemlessly with our sites. We have looked for a program which would make downloading our store orders and setting them up with shipping lables and automatic feedback and shipping notification as simple as possible and would not cost a lot of money, time or resources. Problem solved with shipstation.

Able to integrate with all our platforms like ebay, amazon, ecommerece etc. Auto feedback and able to notify customers upon shipment is a big plus
Nachteile
certain shipping tables and combinations of carriers and weights leave a bit to be desired. We ship internationally S well as domestic and would like to see simplified shipping setc similar to that which ebay uses

When Time Is Money
Vorteile
As an experienced seller, I knew the ins and outs of my shipping options like the back of my hand. I never even thought to give ShipStation a second look because I didn't understand the value or why I would pay for a service offered for free by most online retail venues. What a mistake! Without being too dramatic, Shipstation saves me HOURS each week (anyone who has ever had to use the Amazon shipping portal can sympathize with this!) I was also not a stamps.com member before and I was shocked that the prices ARE lower than just the commercial discount given by Etsy, Amazon, and PayPal. I'm so looking forward to this upcoming holiday season and being able to batch print labels unlike last year where I had to click through 3 windows for every.single.package.
Nachteile
Often loses connectivity with my Dymo label printer. Doesn't allow user to be logged into multiple devices (I have a desktop for business work, and a computer at my packing station).

This software has helped me take my business to the next level
Vorteile
I own a handmade business and made most of my money on Etsy, but needed to grown my personal website and wanted to expand my sales on Amazon. Figuring out those logistics was a monster. How do I keep track of all my orders without having to visit all three sites constantly? How do I streamline my shipping process? How can I handle returns and exchanges more efficiently? Enter ShipStation and problems solved! It has been an essential piece of the puzzle to grow my business. There is so much you can do to customize ShipStation to your needs, and the customer service is stellar.
Nachteile
Because it is pretty robust software, there is a bit of a learning curve. It isn't the most intuitive program to use, but the customer service and online support are great. I still haven't figured everything out but I am learning new tools weekly and so excited about the possibilities. I definitely recommend taking a day or so to learn and get things set up.

A big help!
Vorteile
I loved that when I ran my own small business, I was able to shop tons of packages for so little money. I saved a lot of money using it that way! Now, I use it for shipping still, but it's personal shipping, and it's still as great! It's most definitely worth the money! If you're trying to decide whether or not to join, then just sign up. You'll be happy you did!
Nachteile
I disliked the fact that it is a bit hard to set up, especially for people that are not that great with tech.

Easy to Use Shipping Fulfillment Software Solution
The main benefit is the ability to track inventory accurately. This is one of my favorite features.
Vorteile
One of my favorite features of this software is the ease of finding orders and checking the status of those orders. Plus, I appreciate how nicely it integrates with other applications like Finale Inventory, BigCommerce, etc.
Nachteile
When the shipping department changes its method of shipping providers, the tracking number does not get updated to the customer order.

This software is the most heavily used software by our fulfillment team and it allows us to communicate about orders inside of an organize system.

Amazing customer support!!!

There are quite a few pros I've found to using ShipStation. I like how they keep track of the statistics and emails of my customers, but the biggest reason I will continue to use ShipStation is for the Customer service/support. Brock has been the BIGGEST help to me [multiple times]. I know any question I have regarding shipping orders, he will be able to answer. He actually took the time to call me today instead of Instant Messaging to resolve some issues. His knowledge in this area is impressive and helpful to say the least. Being able to have an efficient way to ship my products, AND have help with whatever issues I end up having is the best. I appreciate ShipStation hiring such knowledgable people and will continue to use this service and spread the word.
Nachteile
There are no cons that come to mind. I've gotten help whenever I needed it, and I appreciate the insights the app gives me on my businesses growth(or lack thereof).

Love Shipstation
Overall, Shipstation is great for companies who have a simple shipping structure.
Vorteile
Shipstation has been great for managing our shipments for our smaller businesses! It's very simple to use and integrates with both Shopify and Klaviyo.
Nachteile
There's not enough robust sorting/filtering features. I'd like to be able to have some of my shipments be filtered into different buckets and Shipstation doesn't have the ability to do this. If you have a complex shipping system Shipstation wouldn't be for you.

Customer service has been responsive, knowledgeable and all around stellar (even called me to help faster)
Nachteile
End of Day manifesto should stay on same day and not automatically roll over to next day. Much easier to find that way. Sometimes I prepare multiple shipments over several days and wish I could just print one manifesto for the lot once I am done (not per day, but simply since the last manifesto I printed). Since they get moved to next day (business hours) it is sometimes cumbersome to find them. Maybe I just have not found the option yet.

Shipstation brings all your shipping needs to one platform
Shipstation allowed us to use one account and centralize the online order fulfillment process with one platform, to easily manage package shipments from multiple order systems and using multiple shipping accounts (USPS, FedEx, etc.).
Vorteile
I absoutely love using shipstation to manage multiple ecommerce platforms with the ability to fulfill orders, print labels and organize all within one platform.
Nachteile
As shopify has expanded, it was tough at times to manage fulfillment from multiple locations within shipstation. over time we were able to figure it out but it took some time.

Made a big differense.
Overall it went well, took about 3 months from cradle to grave to implement. Custom api integration development slowed us down. Wish they added Shopworks as a partner.

The software integrates well and connected to our ERP effectively, allowing orders to flow efficiently.

Had to hire a 3rd party to integrate with a custom API integration costing a lot and adding time and complexity to project.

Cost and time Savings
Excellent. Customer support, especially when I first started using Ship Station really made it very easy to start using it day one.
Vorteile
As a small on line store, Ship Station has made my shipping so much easier. Orders from all stores are interfaced into one system. It allows me to ship, print labels, follow and recall all customers in a matter of seconds. By finding the best prices for shipping have saved considerably since using Ship Station. An added benefit are the reports that give a valuable information to manage my business
Nachteile
Occasionally , tracking from the shipping company does not connect with them. It would be helpful if there was a manual process to move the order to a received status.

Bait and Switch
Shipstation advertises their platform works with Amazon Fulfilled by Merchant providing ASN for each order (advanced shipping notice). Two weeks after onboarding we discovered this was not the case and our account with Amazon was in jeopardy. We worked diligently with Amazon to correct this at the same time trying to understand with Shipstation support why it was not working. After two additional weeks of no help it was determined that Shipstation would have to develop something that was working for other customers and that they advertised as a functionality to accommodate our company. 5 months later, it is still not working creating additional manual work for our team to get our Amazon orders shipped. Shipstation can only tell me they are still working on with no end in site, no estimated time of completion - nothing - nada - no help. I would not recommend this software to anyone.

Good for Shipping Managment
Overall it's a good platform for organizing and managing your shipping needs - especially when you are doing business on multiple platforms and with multiple company partners.
Vorteile
One of the best features is being able to assign the shipments to a specific person. We partner with other companies and suppliers and we can actually have the accounts connected and have them only see the orders that are assigned to them - perfect for the way we manage partnered ordes.
Nachteile
Sometimes the layout can be a little confusing to me. The way the organization is laid out per order and overall can feel a bit too much.

Game Changer - The Center of our 3PL Strategy
Vorteile
Shipstation was a game changer for our company.
Our main 3PL adopted Shipstation so the flow of orders is simple, clear and well maintained by Shipstation.
The rating of carrier fees, ability to push to FBA and other destinations is highly valued.
Nachteile
I wish there was an API for the Returns Portal as the functionality within this area is very valuable but we need the API to make it really useful.

Monitor your business easily
I got ship station for the discount on shipping companies and because no other shipping software allows for us to use a tablet or smart phone to print postage.
Ship station allows for that. Thank goodness! Our business is purely mobile device ran. Mostly from our tablets straight to a printer. Ship station fixed all these woes for Fix Organics™ from other companies.

The best way to ship your products.
Vorteile
This product is extremely easy to learn and even easier to start using! We have been using ShipStation for nearly 2 years now and are extraordinarily impressed with how smooth the program runs and how simplistic it has made connecting with our product listing services. We would highly recommend this to anyone who sells online and needs a way of organizing and optimizing their shipping methods.

ShipStation a must for e-Commerce!
I am very pleased with the service. I used the USPS last year, but with all of the difficulties they have had this year, I moved to UPS. I had my own account with UPS but found that ShipStation has a much better rate than I could get. Very happy to be shipping with UPS again since they are a hometown WorldShip location and my shipments were all on time this holiday season! Other Gift Basket folks using USPS or FedEx did not have the same experience.
Vorteile
I love the ease of use for my daily shipping needs. I primarily use UPS since I am in the same town as the WorldShip, but it also allows me to check other shipper options. It's easy to link to your e-Commerce site and pulls in all of your orders. I also linked it to my thermal printer and scale easily, so it is a breeze to use.
Nachteile
The initial set up on the email templates was a bit rocky, but I think that was my own fault for not knowing to edit those up front. I also found their videos after getting the software. Maybe make that a little more prevalent once someone signs up to ease them into the set up.

In my opinion ShipStation is the easiest to use, and most comprehensive shipping software available. As a company that ships hundreds and thousands of packages per day, I wouldn't recommend anything other than ShipStation.
Nachteile
There have been times that it has been hard to connect ShipStation to our provider accounts. Luckily customer service has been very helpful in getting things fixed quickly.

A great option for people who frequently use PayPal
I have had a positive overall experience with ShipStation and believe it to be a great option for frequent PayPal users.
Vorteile
I like ShipStation's easy integration with PayPal.
Nachteile
I have been able to purchase shipping services at higher discounts using other software. I also find the UI harder to navigate than some other shipping managers.

Does everything you need for bulk shipping
Shipstation saved us this Christmas season! Our usual means of shipping fell through last minute and we thought we wouldn't be able to ship this month. So thankful for this wonderful company!
Vorteile
The best feature is the ability to import orders via an excel file. The field mapping was easy to use and all the orders were uploaded successfully.
The shipments tab is also very nice; in a small symbol next to the tracking number, it shows the status of the package (in transit, delivered) which is very convenient.
Setting up the account was simple thanks to [SENSITIVE CONTENT], the account manager who reached out to me to be my main point of contact during the trail period. When I ran into issues in set up, he was able to fix them immediately.
Nachteile
There's a bit of a learning curve to using this software, but once you learn, it is easy to use.

ShipStation - Make Shipping Easier!
ShipStation made shipping a large quantity of boxes on a daily basis very easy! I cannot reiterate how EASY ShipStation makes the whole process.
Vorteile
I love how simple and easy it is so ship out products. You can easily, weigh the package, insert the shipping address, and immediately compare shipping rates between carriers. It's also very easy to select your carrier, print the label, and your package is ready to go! Couldn't be easier!
Nachteile
Not sure there's anything I dislike about this software.

Daily Shipments
If you ship packages more than 3 days per week, ShipStation is your best option out there. Connect it to your UPS, FedEx, or any other major parcel carrier and your shipping troubles are over. Creating shipments, printing labels, tracking and even business reporting are all in one program. Simple to use. Thank you ShipStation!

An absolute staple for any e-commerce business.
After trying just about everything else out there, Shipstation is as close to a perfect solution as you'll find. It helped me save over an hour each day, time that I was then able to spend on actually growing my business. It was a stretch to think of anything I didn't like - which speaks volumes about the software.
Vorteile
Integration with most major platforms and channels - it communicates back and forth between your Shopify, Amazon, eBay, etc. accounts to mark orders shipped and email the customer.
Discounted shipping labels - The subscription pays for itself with how inexpensive the labels are.
Automated tracking emails - create your own template and look the part of other major e-commerce stores.
Nachteile
Can get a little confusing when dealing with international shipments but their support team is definitely top notch and can help you sort out the issues quickly.

Making shipments is easier with ShipStation
Vorteile
This one lets you recognize goods that are returned and those which are new, efficiently. Their rules are within most business limits and are really friendly. Their filters are a great shot and often enhance your platform. They are user-friendly and worth the money. Customer service is quite vibrant.
Nachteile
It is quite a complex one if yours is a big business lot. Flexibility is one issue. Mistakes made between placement and delivery of offers can create havoc, especially if more than 1000 shipments are made per day. There is no option for one to edit the manual orders. The process has to be started once again after its deletion. No detail is provided over choices of shipments with lower costs. Paypal cannot be used. No offline version for the system.

Saves a Ton of Time, Centralizes Shipping from Multiple Platforms
Vorteile
Before using ship station, I would have to individually check and compare the rates from each shipping carrier for my small business. I'd have to process orders from different sales channels separately and would have to go in and track each order through each platform to confirm shipping and delivery. Ship Station centralizes all of that, so I save time on the shipping and monitoring of my products' delivery.
Nachteile
It doesn't tell you your average cost to ship a specific item. This is, to date, my only issue with Ship Station.

Worth it
Vorteile
Shipstation was what I was looking for when my warehouse is located in another state and I need to get orders out them instantly. Once you set everything up it flows very well with my website, inventory, and shipping companies. The integration and email templates is a plus. Worth the monthly expense.
Nachteile
The setup process could be much easier. They provide an account manager for the first 30 days but sometimes you need more than 30 days. Finding the help and support button can be like a game of hide and seek.

ShipStation Exceeded Almost All Expectations
Before ShipStation, I was switching back and forth between the Amazon and eBay shipping pages, each and every day when preparing my packages. Not only does ShipStation consolidate all my shipping into one page, it also allows for me to print out a handy pick slip, which outlines which items I need to find.
ShipStation combines USPS, FedEx and UPS rates in a simple interface that I find a bit easier that eBay or Paypal. As well, they offer a couple of USPS rates that are not available through the other consoles, which helps to cut down my First Class package rates.
With that being said, I end up making a few bucks a month by using the software and who can complain about that?!

The biggest con that I am struggling with is that I am unable to use my FedEx discount that is applied to my eBay account. Now, this is not a fault of ShipStation, but it a drawback for me.
eBay has their own account with FedEx, that sellers use and therefore, unable to transfer to a 3rd party software. I have input my personal FedEx account with a different discount applied, but there is a range where FedEx is more expensive than it should be.
In those situations, I find myself going back to eBay and printing the labels through there, to obtain the full discount.

We use ShipStation to track all of the orders that happen both on marketplaces and retail...
The benefits we get from this software are the ability to assign rules to each SKU that help determine where the product will be shipped from and which carrier to use. I also like that we can sync it with Finale to automatically deducted quantity for our warehouse.
Vorteile
I like that we can add rules and functions to certain SKU's to decide were a part will ship from. This helps substantially so that when an order is placed certain rules pop up to show us where we want to ship a product.
Nachteile
I dislike the format the Product Sales report is exported in. I would prefer that there weren't any cells merging or blank rows because that messes me up with I'm trying to filter for certain things. I think it would be better to have the Store category next to the SKU in it's own separate column rather than on 1 row as a header.
