Following were key point of my “happiness”1. They did not package services like workspace and domain service. They gave and suggested good option but allowed me to have control over the plan structure and provide smooth integration across all key platforms i was looking at. 2. No matter how much they simplify, creating website is going to have certain technical aspects (as they should to provide users with flexibility). Being in IT industry and slightly blunt, i tried to “Just do it”. Intention was, i should get errors and let me see how Pixpa help me with those. Plan was to see if Pixpa is long term platform or just short term. By god, i was up for treat. I got errors and i got step by step articles and videos to fix those and they worked spot on !!3. In my opinion and so far observation, Pixpa seem to have paid attention to minute details and accepted feedback and integrated it to make it easier for other people.

Nachteile

This is not exactly "Cons" but i work in software industry and i write complicated code for living. They have strong framework (which is how it should be). Unless you get grip on this framework, you won't be able to put foot down. In my book, that is not Con but actually a great thing. But for some, who doesn't have even 5 mins to read the articles and just doesn't have patience to carefully look at error and go to right link, this will be con. (Personally i love Pixpa for this and i don't recommend you “directly putting foot down”.)

I love how easy it is to change templates, customise layouts, and that their customer service is there all the time from within the editor. They also have added so much functionality on a continual basis, and have accomodated me as much as they can when I have a feature request.

Nachteile

Sometimes, the formatting has be done a couple times as a change won't stick or appears not to have stuck. The only thing that seems to be missing is an ability to plug in functions like on wordpress. But, so far that is minor.

I don't think that they are cons, they are just some useful updates need to be done. Just add VSCO and VERO in social icons. Add central management of the photos in one place so the user can have total control of the files.

I discovered Pixpa by "accident". Five years ago it wasn't so advertised. I guess I followed my intuition. I wanted something fresh. After five years of use I am very happy with my choice!

First its the customer service. I've worked with this software and I've had issues that they quickly resolved. I feel like I'm actually working with a team. I've built numerous pixpa websites for my friends who need a simple easy to use software to market themselves. To make my response simple.... All of my future websites will be through Pixpa. I'm obsessed with seeing my images on their landing pages.

I've been with Pixpa for a few years. So i've seen the version of the software that made me... let's just say, agitated. lol But they upgrade and made a tweak here and there to make it better for the user so my con is possibly the video hosting. Can I host my videos through Pixpa, instead of a third party? not sure.

Pixpa is very similar (very similar!) to SquareSpace but at a lower cost. There are some interface differences between the two and some things are better on SquareSpace and some are better on Pixpa. For me, I like how picture size is controlled with dragging a handle on the picture, rather than SquareSpace's very clunky spacers.

Nachteile

Sometimes it is not too clear where to make a setting or adjustment. Pixpa seems to put settings all over the place. But you get used to it. Also, there are sometimes that there seems to be some extra space that I cannot seem to get rid of. I am sure I am missing a setting somewhere, but that goes back to my first point.

I really like the client galleries feature in Pixpa, which is a great way to deliver photos/files to customers. I also like many tailor-made features for photographers such as watermarking images if needed, right click protection and so on. Templates are impressive and customer support is unparalleled in its friendliness and efficiency and its available 24/7. It is that good!

Nachteile

There could be more storage space included in the basic plans and multilingual sites can be challenging to build (to be honest there are tools translate menus and other functions but in order to have a website running completely in two or more languages you may need to buy multiple sites/plans). Integrated booking feature would also be nice to have

It offered more features I needed as a photographer on a ok price compared to others and it is relatively easy to use. Some of the features are unique. You get a feeling that designers of this platform had photographers in their minds and that is not a case with some alternatives.

Price was the best considering that the templates were much better for what I wanted for an artist portfolio, than the other more popular web builders in the same price range. The templates are very good visually. Customer service is fantastic! They helped me with every detail when I got stuck, the time zone difference makes it so that sometimes there was a delay in response, but they usually respond right away, and always solve the problem and give good attention. The customer service really helped me so much and helped me customize some nitty gritty details whenever it was possible. I felt they went the extra mile for me. I think it is a site that is easy for people who are not tech savy like me, and again customer service helps you when you get stuck.

Nachteile

There were some minor limitations in the customizations that were possible that I would ideally want for my site, but I am still satisfied with the final site. Also I have yet to figure out the tax configuration for the web store, so the shop seems a little more complicated than I hoped. I'm sure the customer service may be able to help me, although because they are based in India I think I'm not sure how expert they will be in U.S state taxes, so worst case I may have to use another site for my shop and link to it in my website.

Pixpa is easy to use and you can create very professional pages by Pixpa. The support team is there all the time and the customer service is top quality. They are ready to help you out with any problem you may have. I just love Pixpa.

I haven't found yet anything to complain. The price is very affordable considering how many functions the Page have. The support team is ready to help you immediately. That's very unique feature.

The best customer service in website templates! Building the site felt like having a personal assistant on call to help every step of the way. Every question I had was not only answered very quickly but often even solved directly by the PIXPA team. It was like having your own web designer for free! My favorite team to work with!

Customer Service Interaction: I believe this is what sets this company apart from other companies. Pixpa has had a tremendous quick response when it comes to inquiries. They have also fixed all of my issues. There is just a level of care by their team that is different from other companies.Easy to use: Software is highly customizable. Very easy to Learn and use without prior website building knowledge.Functional: Website integrates very easy with your own custom domains and also has plugins that you can integrate into your website such as e-commerce or even a chat button that people can use to get in contact with you on the site.Content Management: Very easy to upload your images. Also, the documentation that is listed on their site explains very simplistically on how to get the best quality images without losing detail on your upload.

Nachteile

The only con I have is more integration on e-commerce for printing sites such as "ThePrintSpace". They have WHCC but more options would prove beneficial to multiple users.

After looking through lots of website software, I selected Pixpa for ease of use, professional templates, and a very attractive price point. The private client folders with download capabilities make it sooo easy for my clients to receive their photos in a timely manner.

I honestly can't think of anything that I would change at the moment. I really, really find myself completely satisfied with the product

It is very easy to use and has great customer service. All my queries are answered in a very timely manner, and they are always able to help me. The overall features available are great and I am guilty of not using Pixpa to its full potential. There are also several different tiers of subscription which are perfect for different users with varying needs.

I found a website template that I loved and was able to easily edit it to suit my needs, more so than the others. Easy to use GUI

I love the way pixma showcases my portfolio. If you're a beginner it's very easy to use while still giving you a professional looking portfolio. I haven't used any features yet as in the blog or store, or the client app, but everything seems to be well put together for my needs for photography.

Nachteile

The website looks really good when you're using a computer I was having a few issues with how it was looking when I viewed my site on my phone at first, only half the page was loading and I will have to refresh for the full page to come in, It may have just been an issue at the time because I haven't had that problem lately. Other than that everything else seems to be working just fine.

I initially had a hard time understanding how I should set up my solution. I took advantage of the templates and suggestions I got from contacting online support. I found the solution for each question and finally managed to implement a solution perfectly suited to my needs. The online assistance is very effective and very fast, I have never been left alone, they have always solved all the problems relating to the setting of the templates.

Nachteile

To implement your solution Pixpa requires a good experience, but this is normal. It would be useful to have a more adequate support for the sale of products, such as a client's lending method

I love this because it’s so easy to create a professional website with it, one that I can not only show clients as a portfolio but also to have a great platform to send the photos to them. It helps with the business for sure. And I have never in my life found such a great customer service nowhere on the internet. I contacted them many times and they solved all of my issues super fast. They are amazing at what they do, only for this one thing (customer support) I would stay with them. I’m honestly a fan!

I like everything about the software honestly. Maybe I could use an easy calendar like booking system which is built in so that I can get bookings super easily from the site. And would be good to have some templates for pricing/packages. Otherwise it’s amazing!!!

My website looks beautiful and is easy to manage and edit. The customer is amazing! Their response time is incredibly fast, typically within the hour, and my problems or concerns are always addressed in a timely manner. I'm nothing but impressed!

Really it is the best software for websites I have ever used. I have been in business for 30 years and have tried many many site building software but Pixpa tops them all!

I think they need to offer new templates that really show that they are different from other software companies. They offer a great variety but as a photographer I am always looking for a way to be different and a template that was really spectacular with the WOW factor would be awesome.

I never had an issue and the customer service is just AMAZING.
They're still evolving the themes and the quality of the service, also if you have some trouble with payment or upgrade/downgrade they're super helpful and fast to give money back.

Nachteile

Some integration could be added, but they're still growing. Also for a long time they dedicated zero time to new blog templates (but now they're super good!)

Pixpa staff make this software more and more straightforward to use the longer that it is around. The templates are clean and offer a variety of different themes, and the customer service has always been excellent, with the Pixpa customer service experts consistently responding within 5 minutes or less.

Nachteile

There was a bit of a learning curve getting use to this website editor as opposed to other WYSIWYG editors, but the learning curve was not very steep and it didn't take me long to get used to it.

Pixpa was the best value for my money.

I use Pixpa as the better alternative of what is ( or was a year ago) on the market - Squarespace, Pixieset and others I can't really remember that offered a trial period. Good choice of gallery templates, the ability to sell digital products and prints without setting up an online store, good client galleries. Found to be the best for my needs as a photographer - saves my time and eyes (I do write HTML/CSS code regularly but I rather shoot pictures than stare at a white screen all day). Seems to add new features every 3 or 4 months.

Nachteile

There is a lot to be improved - most templates are set at 1200px wide - max at 3000px (and you need to dig deep to find the option). Neither are good for 4k monitors that max out at 4096px, contact forms can add multiple custom choices but no ability to upload files/pictures with the message, image upload is set at minimum resolution as default (dig deep through menus to change that), no full google fonts integration, no custom email address option as far as I know.

It's very easy to use and intuitive, and what you see is what you get. If something is not working as you'd expect, just contact the support team and they are always ready to help you in the best way possible.

I needed a simple professional set up. I found it. I also loved that it doesn't kill my wallet. I am a seasonal photographer so sometimes my website just sits. Its nice to know when I am not working I am not spending tons of money. It also is easy to use the preset templates. Which is great cause I really am not a computer person.

I am still not understanding to customize or use more advanced options. But not really a con because its something I know I need to work on.

Zenfolio was expensive and hard to use. I didn't like the feel and felt I was being ripped off cause I couldn't understand 80% of how their site worked.

I went for something that just fit my flow.

I like how easy it was to go from nothing to a functional and attractive website. I did the majority of setting up my site in one day. It's easy to get things looking the way you want, especially once you get used to where everything is on their interface. Everything looks great on desktop and mobile - the latter of which is especially good since it gets auto-formatted. If I had to maintain two copies of the site, I never would.

Nachteile

At times it is a bit clunky. You have to upload things several times if you want to use the same photo in multiple places. I also found the drag-and-drop function to behave strangely on Firefox for macOS. And overall, some things in the interface just didn't make sense. But these are all minor compared to the overall experience. I also wish more storage was included for galleries - we all know how cheap storage is these days.

I like how easy it is to use Pixpa. The pricing plan is one of the most affordable on the market and it gets the job done. The templates are also clean with several options to choose from. You can then customise pages to your own preference. Overall, I'll recommend this to anyone who needs a website of their own.

The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the mobile layout couldn't automatically resize horizontal photos. I had to create a different gallery banner specifically for the mobile layout which made it a bit inconvenient. I hope Pixpa would work on this soon as there are increasingly more leads/clients/editors who are viewing our websites from their phones and first impressions are important.

I've tried both Wix and Pixpa and chose to remain with Pipxa because it's simpler for me to set up than their rival Wix. Another thing that amazed me was how quickly their customer support responded and always took care of the majority of my problems. Unlike rivals that take a long time to resolve issues and deploy AI system replies that are BS. That's the major reason I continue to support them today!

Lack of features for video contents (can only embed from Youtube) I hope they allow user to upload video to their own server? Maybe in the future!

One of the biggest pros of using pixpa is it's ability to add and manage photos. It makes them easy to upload, update, move around, and style. As well having the ability to share Client Galleries when you finish a project is a big seller.

Nachteile

Often times I find myself wanting to control my page moe by adding animations, moving something slightly rather than a lot, or being able to see my mobile changes. I am also very disappointed that the client galleries don't support videos. As a videographer I would like a clean way to share the final product and Pixpa does not yet offer that.

Pixpa seems to offer exactly what I need for a reasonable price. I used to pay double what I'm paying now for my Pixpa site for a service that offered less functionality, less customization, and capped the number of galleries I was allowed at much less than I'm getting with Pixpa. The templates are designed thoughtfully and are very dynamic - there is plenty you can do with your website.

The website builder tool has a lot to offer, but at times I feel it could use more drag-and-drop functionality.

The really isn't anything I really dislike about Pixpa. The only thing I would like to see changed would be the ability to "drag and drop" boxes. titles, etc. to work around the photographs on my website. I would also like to see more options to customize the mobile versions of pages.

My only issue is I wish they allowed more flexible options to pay with paypal like "pay in 4" or "pay later". Because of this I do have to refer some clients to Etsy for more payment options.

Once you figure out the software it's quite easy to use. Their tech support is AMAZING and will help you along the way. I have found their built-in SEO features to help get my page to the first page of Google within a few months.

Definitely the customization of designs and templates. Often I feel stuck with their preset choices, so I build my own graphic in Canva and it never displays as nicely as the rest of the page.

I like that online galleries are included and I have the ability to have a built in store. It’s the most user friendly in terms of builders that use templates and have limitations on customization compared to others and it’s much more affordable with quick customer service.

The limitations on customization as I am used to using builders that allow full drag and drop in any space of the page and at any size. The font limitations also need improvement.

Pixpa offers design-forward portfolio-based customizable website templates. Love the ease of customization and dynamic page layouts. I'm surprised to get all this capability for a very low price. I will continue to use Pixpa for more upcoming years.

Some features are still missing in Pixpa, which are available on Squarespace but those features should be pretty easy to add, I have already informed the team about it.

Some of my mirrorless cameras have a feature that offers pop-up tutorials for you as you are just learning your new camera's features... you can shut it off after you know what you're doing... something like that as an option would be good. But I must say, Customer Service with Pixpa is top shelf... anytime I have a question... I had an answer via Chat or Email in very short order...
