Pixpa is easy to use and quick to launch. I chose it for its variety of beautifully-designed templates and for it's affordable price. I am very pleased with my experience and site.

There are some limitations to design, like with any content management software, but there are also many creative ways to achieve the desired look.

I was assuming I would use Squarespace but thought I'd just check the other options first. Pixpa was much more reasonable so thought I'd try it out. It was easy to use, and I'm really happy with the site I've created. Although my background is semi tecnical, I'm no coder, and made a bit of an error in the backend when trying to switch my site live. Pixpa not only contacted me to alert me to my error but also walked me through how to fix it. Then, the support guy went on to help me with a tricky bit of integration of a third party software and I was so impressed at how helpful he was. Thanks Pixpa, I'm definitely converted.

Perhaps some of the templates are a bit similar but they did what I needed.

This was a great choice for my website builder. Once I figured out how to use the builder, it was easy to use. The changes are made in real time, so no waiting for updates. You can preview the changes right away, so you will know how they look instantly.

Nachteile

There is a bit of a learning curve with customizing the page template. The templates come with text and photos already entered, so it was a little difficult to figure out how to move and edit.

It was easy to set up albums for my clients to view and download photos. The albums are attractive and intuitive for my clients.

• I have not been able to find a way to put text with a sub-gallery image on an album - the titles are across the top of the page, not with the images.
• I wish it was easier to set up photo printing. I would use a Pixpa-provided feature that simply integrates a print service, allows you to set custom prices, and then pays you the profit when photos are sold. I dislike having to sign up with yet another vendor just to be able to sell photos, and furthermore to obtain my own payment processing account on yet another third-party service.

The most I like about Pixpa are the Clients Galleries. Posibility to make a gallery for my clients is crucial to me and this service in direct connection with website is perfect.
I am also very pleased with Default Text Labels which I can change to my language easily.

Nachteile

I would find very helpful an integration with Adobe Lightroom to be able to transfer photos to website or client gallery directly.

I switched from another web host and the user interface to build you page with Pixpa was quite easy to pick up and run with.

I honestly haven’t run into any cons at this point actually.

Once you become familiar with the layout and where things are it is easy to use and there are allot of options with each choice for ex: client galleries you can customize them with so many options, password, download, PIn's etc...
