Pixpa was excellent - from the layout options, ease of design change and its possibilities, it's a great platform for quality digital portfolios. The interface is super easy to use, and in each and every small difficulties I got quick quality support from the support team. I strongly recommend it.

They suck. I've been using Pixpa for 2 years and it just keeps getting worse. I just had hours of work deleted, and because they're based in India and not all of their employees have a good command of english I got the report "Have made the changes" regarding a page being deleted and replaced with a months old backup. They're rarely available for normal US business hours, don't waste your time.
Headache generator should be the name of their site editing software.

It's relatively easy to use once you get the hang of it. Their theme, Aperture, is brilliant and the yearly cost of running the website is very affordable compared to other platforms.

Nachteile

Aperture is a bit tricky to figure out especially when you want to make sure things look good in both laptop and phone formats. There are a few glitches with it, but customer service has been very helpful with fixing what can be fixed.

Aside from the reasonable cost of this website builder for my photography website, the biggest pro for me was the lay-out, range of templates and ability to customise them in a way that suited my needs. This involved being able to showcase my work for maximum impact with a stylish design that was simple to navigate for any potential new customers to my website. Although I haven't needed to contact them on many occasions, I have also been impressed with the prompt, friendly and helpful responses I have received from Pixpa's customer services department.

Nachteile

Up to now I have no complaints about using Pixpa for my website, or the interactions I've had with them.

Easy management, super fast customer support ( though I rarely need it), cool admin user interface. Pixpa is keep developing the product so I can get up to date features. I also like the user gallery feature: my clients can easily select the pictures they want.

For the most part it was easy to use. Some of the things that I wanted to do I wasn't able to. Customer service/ chat was helpful to get me know I was correct and it wasn't a feature. The program is easy to use once you figure it out. I did have to spend some time playing around with it to understand the full features it offered.

If you use most all of your templets that have the square look to them, you are UNABLE to click and enlarge the photos or image to full view. I have to use a different format for this which is critical when your an Interior Designer and multiple documents are larger and need to to be viewed unclose. It took me a long time to figure out how to do something that is almost the same but I had to deviate from the layout. You should have a category for Design (interior design) or other design fields portfolio layout.

I mostly use this service for woo commerce, I manage my WordPress site myself, and using pixpa for selling my services takes away all problems you deal with security and building a portfolio yourself.

In the beginning, is a little hard to get to know how this service works.
I"d love to have a feature where my clients could be charged separately for the extra staff they buy.

I really liked that Pixpa has everything I need especially printing integration with WHCC. I also like the ease of navigating my site. I needed simplistic and I was able to do that.

It took me a bit to understand the integration part, but once I got it realized it was much simpler than I thought. Also, I have other photo products I would like to sell from the same website but handled by me not WHCC and I don't seem to be able to do that.

I liked that there were so many beginning templates to choose from and they all look great. How to change the templates for your personal needs is easy too.

When first choosing a template, if you change the one you want not all features transfer or change exactly the same as they are seen in the template preview. Small customizations are harder to make or not possible when using the drag and drop feature or templates.

The only thing that I would change is the folders on where we put things. like client albums... I use the name of the client for the album but then each gallery i send out, it doesnt show the gallery name so... thats kind of annoying.

Pixpa is an easy and affordable platform for sharing, storing and sending photos to clients after a shoot. I like the ability to allow them to select favorites that I can see on my end and make sub galleries within their gallery with edited images. Also like that they can choose to download different sized hi res images.

I like the ability to brand my pages and emails but wish it could be more customized or aesthetic.
