Ich nutze CleanMyMac auf meinen Mac als Monitoring Tool um zu sehen, wie viel freien Speicher ich habe - was weg kann weil ich es nicht mehr viel nutze oder wo Speicher freigemacht werden kann, alles ist grafisch sehr schön dargestellt und kann einfach genutzt werden.

Nachteile

Leider erkannt das Tool nicht alle Sachen die am Mac laufen.

Sehr gute UI und UX/ die Erklärungen neben den Funktionen/ das Gefühl zu haben, alles nochmal selbst entscheiden zu können

Seit dem ich das Programm verwende um Datenmüll aufzuräumen - seit gestern - stürzt mir ständig mein 2013er 27' iMac ab - oh Gott! Er läuft noch mit Mojave. Vielleicht ist das ja das Problem? Leider lässt er sich nicht auf Monterey upgraden...

I particularly appreciate the app's continuous updates, ensuring it stays effective and compatible with the latest macOS. Furthermore, I've found the login item reminders incredibly useful. Informing me of the apps enabled when I reboot or log back into my computer, CleanMyMac helps me manage and reduce unnecessary processes that could slow down my Mac.

CleanMyMac's feature to locate and highlight apps I haven't used in a while is another favorite of mine. This feature assists me in decluttering my hard drive, freeing up valuable space. Additionally, the app's capacity to search for and review large files has proven to be a lifesaver on numerous occasions.

In all my time using CleanMyMac, I've never encountered a problem after running the cleanup tasks. This reliability, with its range of features and ease of use, makes it an app I'd highly recommend, especially for heavy Mac users like myself.

When I click the Updater feature, it often suggests updates that have already been installed or don't exist. But I rarely use the updater feature.

Helps monitor tasks and very good for cleaning temp files and also organizing files. It also monitors memory usage and notify you when the memory is getting full or there are large unused files on the hard drive and helps cleaning these keeping the computer up in performance.

It does have a large memory allocation and usage, actually one of the highest so it does take up a lot of memory from your computer

Nothing really to dislike. It does what it does really well. The price might be a bit high for some, but I got the app with a Setapp subscription, which makes it really worthwhile.

The most impactful feature for me is maintenance. You can save tons of space using this app. It allows you to run tasks which are normally scheduled in operating system. The perfect feature is disk view, where you can easily navigate and find old and unused files to remove them. Monitoring is allowed through OS bar widget. You can view the current RAM, CPU, HDD usage, free up RAM when the performance is bad or show battery of your devices in the same Wi-Fi.

Nachteile

In current versions the RAM calculation is probably wrong. My computer became unresponsive having about 2GB of free ram, which was in previous version about some megabytes.

I thought the file filter efficiency was ideal. It went through my computer quickly and found unused files, while also checking to see if there were any viruses--thankfully all was clean.

Nachteile

It deleted some files while cleaning that it suspected I didn't need. Turns out a few months later I could've really used those files saved earlier.

This tool comes with so many great features and the user interface and menu bar dashboard make using it a breeze. To quickly free up RAM, run a system maintenance, check for malware, uninstall applications or see which files are taking up too much room, it's all there.

They've tried to extend the features to be a little too good. There iPhone storage feature is a waste of time, so I disabled it in preferences.

Clean My MacX (and previous versions) is my go-to safety net. Easy to install and use, and easy on the budget. The dashboard give me a quick look at system status, and an easy path to opening the program.

I'm a free-lance Technical Writer. My wife is an editor. We're constantly handling client documents which sometimes challenge available DRAM. Clean My Mac is a trusted resource that we run at least once a day in each of our machines. It's the fastest way I've found to clear allocated RAM and make room for more complex applications. The addition of a realtime malware monitor really made this a single-vendor solution for us.

As part of my work, I'm forever picking apart technical specifications for publication. I haven't found any shortcomings in the product, whatever.

I love Clean My Mac! I have been using it since Clean My Mac 2 nearly 10 years ago and I really love how it has grown. It is a must own on every computer I own as it has helped me declutter my hardrive and save disk space as well as helped securely delete files. The taskbar tool has been so helpful to me because it has saved me from experiencing any slowdowns. I love the ability to free up RAM space as well as see how much is being used.

It is also super simple to use! Everything is plainly titled and takes no more than a push of a button to perform its desired function.

Nachteile

The one thing I don't like about the software is how the price has increased and is now a subscription based product. Although it was never "dirt cheap" the product has gone up substantially in price for a "lifetime subscription." I had previously purchased it with Clean My Mac 2, but it didn't last too long as it got outdated. It's a shame that the product is now more affordable in a subscription plan, but this is a product that doesn't need that. It just cleans excess clutter from files and frees up computer usage. It doesn't need to be a subscription.

CleanMyMac X does an incredible job on scanning your Mac to make sure it's running at its best and rid of malware or files/apps that shouldn't be there. It also scans and cleans up junk weekly, in addition to providing a great bar top menu giving you a lot of info regarding your connection, ram memory available, CPU load and storage available. It's pretty complete.

It's hard to say because I really love it and I believe it's essential to have.
They're always updating it and I feel like I'm being taken care of. So there's nothing I don't like about it.

What I like most about CleanMyMac X is that it provides a simple 1-click operation to check vulnerabilities, repair, and remove ‘junk’ files all at once, and that I can review specifically what files the app has identified for removal before the files are actually removed, keeping my Mac optimized and running great.

I also like the attractive, and easy to understand user interface, and all the custom settings that allow me to make it fit my specific needs.

Everything is integrated into a very easy to use platform. The notifications remind you when it’s time to do a scan so you actually utilize the software. The scans are fairly quick with the option to run deeper scans and clean ups when you need to. You can delete files and uninstall programs right from the software.

Every few years they update the software and then you have to pay for a new license. It would be nice if the old versions still worked.

I enjoy keeping my Mac clean and organized. In addition, I use it to thoroughly install/unstall programs. Pro tip: don't download from the Apple App store though. Download from the website because when you install/uninstall programs, the website version is more thorough in cleaning up extraneous files that some programs install on your machine.

When CleanMyMac X suggests getting rid of old and/or larger files, it would be nice if the program could also let you know the pros/cons of getting rid of those files. I don't always understand the implications. In the past, I have deleted large/old files only to regret it.

I frequently use this software to clear my Mac of unnecessary memory eating junk, disable apps I seldom use, eliminate duplicate files, and generally smooth out how my Mac operates. CMMX is generally not clunky like other maintenance programs I've used, and its definitely faster than other products.

Nachteile

The one irksome trait that I've experienced with CMMX is that is generally very slow to open, and seems to bog my computer down to such a snail pace when opening. This might be because I am using an other MacOS, but it has always been slow to open.

Full feature set is easy to invoke and very much enjoy ridding my OS of 3+ GB of junk at least weekly. Update Manager helps me stay on top of application updates and until I used LogIn Manager Was mystified by how to clean up all the stuff that others in their infinite wisdom felt I need to load each day (I didn't).

Software fondamentale per chi ha un macbook, ti permette di avere sempre la situazione del proprio pc sotto controllo e di intervenire tempestivamente su possibili problematiche sia per quanto riguarda possibili virus e sia per risolvere errori di sistema. E possibile usarlo disinstallare programmi, per la pulizia del pc e tanto altro, credo che sia il primo programma da installare in assoluto.

I vantaggi di CleanMyMac X sono molteplici. Prima di tutto tiene sotto controllo in modo rapido lo stato del nostro Mac. Si può tenere sotto controllo la temperatura, lo spazio su disco, la velocità internet e la velocità di scrittura del disco, l'utilizzo della cpu e la saturazione della ram. Cosa più importante è anche un antivirus e antimalware integrato nel programma. Tutto ciò è disponibile nella versione gratuita, nella versione a pagamento è possibile eliminare tutta i file spazzatura che vengono generati ogni giorno nell'utilizzo del computer.

Il software non presenta inconvenienti in quanto, anche nella versione gratuita, fa molto egregiamente il suo lavoro e ciò che promette.

Il me permet d'avoir un pc performant 24h/7.

Quite a handful of reasons why I like the application being a solution I use daily, having to be able to clear a whole lot of unnecessary data storage points taking up spaces that should be used for other things, security scanner, and the one-click update of apps are so smooth. I once had an app that wasn’t showing up as needing an update from the app store but CleanMyMac X picked it up that there's a newer version if I would like to upgrade which was indeed cool in my opinion.

La funzionalità di scansione del sistema ha individuato molti file inutili e cache che occupavano spazio sul disco rigido, permettendomi di liberare spazio.L'interfaccia utente di CleanMyMac X è intuitiva, perfetta utenti inesperti.

Il principale inconveniente che ho riscontrato con CleanMyMac X è stato il fatto che alcune delle funzionalità più utili sono disponibili solo nella versione a pagamento. Sebbene la versione gratuita offra una pulizia di base, ho notato che per accedere a funzioni più avanzate, come la pulizia completa del sistema è necessario acquistare la versione completa. Nonostante il Mac sia un po' lento rispetto a quando l'ho comprato, l'applicazione in versione gratuita non ha individuato alcun tipo di virus o malfunzionamento, il che è abbastanza strano.Dopo aver eseguito la scansione e la pulizia, non ho notato un miglioramento nelle prestazioni del Mac. Magari si potrebbe avere con la versione a pagamento.
