Streamtime works really well even the Classic version. Love the way they've taken a great product and improved it further by simplifying things and improving the user experience :)

Nachteile

Just one: landscape style company logos end up really tiny on quotes) but it was great to hear that Streamtime took our feedback and is working on a solution. Other than that, I'm really happy with it

It's pretty simple and easy to use. I like that I can log in from anywhere and do a quote. Our old filemaker based system was old and clunky and not easy to access remotely. I like the reporting functionality and how easy it is to see how a job is tracking. Customer service is excellent.

Nachteile

It would be good to be able to merge and keep the cost against each line item. I have repeatedly asked for this to be looked at. Having a heading and a line item for each service offering makes the quote way too long. Clients want short concise and explicit quotes.

There is no spell check letting you know something maybe misspelt.

The quoting function is a bit clunky and you can end up having multiple drafts everytime you go back to alter a cost etc.

Gantt chart option would be great with the use of dependencies etc

Very simple interface and overall pretty easy to use. Also love how the team is constantly looking to add new features. Streamtime aggregates all information about our projects into one place--time, workers, cost, tasks, and invoices. Really is the perfect software for contractors or sole proprietors.

Nachteile

Doesn't offer completely automated time tracking, which I wish it did. Manual entry of time suffices, but actual time tracking would be more efficient when determining pay and costs.

The Streamtime team seem very receptive to comments on improvement or issues I may have had. I am always incredibly impressed by their personal response.

This program is so simple to use it thankfully avoids the lengthy customisation time often required of other similar products on the market.

Nachteile

The lack of timer originally seemed quite a frustrating element. After using this feature for a period of time I feel it has improved my way of working.

it's a little temperamental with a wacom tablet. For instance sometimes it will work with the pen dragging times etc. and sometimes it doesn't...

Beautiful, intuitive UI. Really simple to get started straight away on the core features, with options to dig a little deeper for the more advanced use cases.

Nothing significant – occasionally run into things which aren't quite where one might expect them to be, or need a little more poking around to find, but overall not a steep learning curve at all.

It's is clear & beautiful visually, and that's a crucial starting point.
Then filling your timesheet is really easier, especially you can combine with your agenda (so external meetings can be added too).
You have also a clear overview of your task/to do.

The ease of it all. It's simply simple to use. It took me no more than five minutes to get my head around it and the little crazy looking helper dude and the flying drone is hysterical (and very helpful!)

Only 5 active jobs on the freebie version. But that's it.

Easy to use and the place I can view all of my projects at once, see the status of each project, and forecast upcoming projects etc. As well as where all my quoting and invoices are completed so there is no double entry or errors.

I don't use the todo section much/at all, although I know a lot of users rely on it.

I like that Streamtime tracks my hours using visual blocks. It helps me understand where my hours are going easier. It's also super clear whats left on the budget which I like. I like that I could plan my week and get a quick visual of where my time will go. I like that there are various ways you can track your time. IE - I like to search the jobs using job numbers or project names - other people in the team prefer to drag and drop from the side panel. It's cool that Streamtime has allowed for different working styles. All of this means it's so much easier to use than the last job tracker I had.

Simplicity and intuitive design - saves money over old version too. Good back up with responsive support. Have only used it for a few months, but used old Filemaker version for 10 years or more - this is much better.

Occasional lag from web based solution - but can be accessed anywhere. Slight concern about security over the web, but no problems so far.

It has an easy to use interface that very useful when I plan and cost projects.
The support and training is responsive and upbeat.

The 'To Do' list is a perfect tool for creatives as it allows them to quickly organise their day. They also love the drag and drop feature as it eliminates manual entries. From a management perspective we can see everything in one place and quickly assign job as required. The 'To Do' list is really one of many great features of this program.

Truthfully, I wish our company had adopted this software earlier as it's made operating the business and managing teams much easier!

Brilliant to be able to schedule out the team's week and allocate time per job. Beautiful interface, with easy to use functions.

The initial process was a little fiddly to learn the software. Staff were brilliant with the onboarding process. Also, having to create tasks just to price/quote a project is ok, but could be better.

What I like the most about the software is that it is fast and super simple to use. It's very intuitive, it's well design and there are constant improvements.

There are certain features that are not yet available for the purpose of my industry. (i.e. being able to quote multiple items in one invoice)

Simplicity of user setup is fantastic. And even though the support is not really needed, the support team goes out of their way to ensure your questions are answered in relation to your organisation. This is a subtle but important point.

The ongoing additions to the original release are not adding clutter as in many iterative software releases, but adding value. The recent release of the analytics console was brilliant.

Nachteile

It cannot read my mind. I would like the developers to put some energy into a direct interface with my brain.

Streamtime is a great way to keep track of jobs. It's very easy to utilise the filters to have a quick breakdown of basically everything you would want to look at. Integration with Xero is completely seamless and the UX, on the most part, is very intuitive and easy to understand.

Nachteile

There's not too much I could say as a negative, but the one thing that is a little annoying is that estimates and invoices aren't super customisable.

this software is very easy to use, track and log jobs. It always looks smart and clean.

There are still some limitations on this software, such as being able to add repeated tasks, but this may be included in the paid version, but it is not worth it for me as I work alone.

I like the simplicity that it brings me on mobile, for when I'm on the go and I want to look at jobs for the day. But also when I'm​ at the office on my machine it opens up to give me the full features.

No cons really! just one annoying thing which could just be my browser is that a lot of the time I type into my search bar streamtime it takes me to the main homepage and not the app homepage.

Streamtime helps me capture the time spent on a wide variety of tasks (items) and then invoice the client from within the same application. It is seamless and quick. It also allows me to pre-plan my week and allocate resources within my studio so I know precisely who is doing what and when.

Nachteile

Generating quotes variations can be a little clunky. Needs a better way of managing the inevitable variations that come with estimating design work.

This system is so easy to use on a day to day basis and then great at the end of the week/month for reporting. Ryan and the team are also fantastic help when you are initially learning and have complicated questions when in the deep end. I'd recommend this product to everyone!

Can't fault it! Any little review/issue item has been fixed or explained by the team and has then made the system even easier to use.

I can not add in my annual leave into the weekly schedule, as I don't use the Microsoft calendar. Would also be nice to be able to allocate regular tasks, eg meeting 10-11am every Monday or every Friday finish 3.30, or every Thursday 9 - 10 work on invoices.

I hate time management apps; we have to spend a lot of time to keep that updated. But Streamtime is different; very friendly and I can use my time to make what I want: my work.

I like how easy is to actually record time. As a head of creative studio getting team members to 'want' to do timesheets can be a challenge, but with stream time it is so easy. Creating and setting up a job and quoting are also so straight forward.

Nachteile

I would like more reporting tools, that allow you to set date ranges on whatever state a job is in; in progress, started, finished, completed. I would also like to be able to generate graphs from within the software rather than exporting data to excel.

I also think the cost should reduce the more licences you buy, as it would encourage a wider roll out within our business.

The design is a joy to use, things work smoothly between me and my colleagues and save us loads of time.

Only cons in my mind would be too many pop-ups asking if I need help. Maybe slow down on these for frequent users!

Clever and minimalistic UI. It's clean, easy to navigate, and very nice to look at. You and your team can track time in a new way where it's fair and more rewarding for employer and employee.

While it is a new way to track you time, it's constrained to that as well. There's no conventional option to just track your time and that's something that could be missed when it comes to some projects.

It's cost effective for one person, but once you start multiplying users the cost goes up quickly. Disappointed I would have to pay double to link in with Xero (that's the part of the other plan that I'm keen on being a sole trader). The person I referred got a better deal than me which kinda frustrating.

The platforms ease of use, the development list to showing what is in the pipeline and the cost is sustainable for our size company. Exports are easy, reviewing time logged against each job is also seamless using the various filters.

The dashboard is too basic. It has the capabilities to give massive insights to your business, therefore a better built in dashboard would be great.

For someone who has tried many different software management systems, Streamtime is the top performer for creative studios. We like the automated invoice system on the large scale projects, where I can see exactly what percentage was invoiced, add expenses, overall expense control of projects is great. Scheduling of my team, organizing jobs, easy quoting, invoicing and Zero integration are valuable time-savers.

The overall advantage of this software ads to our studio is priceless.

You cannot print a quote without downloading it.

The daily time-tracking and to do functionality is an amazingly visual way of mapping out daily and weekly schedule. The adjustable project time blocks have helped to improve our time management skills as it feels awful adding more time and great reducing the time taken. Also, being able to invoice the client directly from Streamtime based on the hours spent on a project fits seamlessly into our work flow.

Nachteile

Originally, we found it frustrating that there was no timer function. However, after using the adjustable project time blocks for a couple weeks, this became a big positive!

Vorteile

The software is very user friendly, visually attractive, plenty of features to form an effective project management platform and an aid to the finance department in terms of accurate invoicing. And its aligned in its approach to how the creative industry thinks and operates.

Nachteile

The only con(s) to this is getting people to be disciplined in using it. As usual with project management/timesheet management its a people issue, not a software issue.
