GreenHouse from Recruiting Coordinator Perspective
Greenhouse has excellent UserExperience. It is clean, beautiful and easy to use. As a new and growing company, there are a few things that need to be optimized, but for every feature I have asked them about, they have been open and receptive to taking feedback, and are either working on to improve the experience already, or are open to putting it on a feature request list.
Their customer service is exceptional. I have been able to set up 30 minute weekly meetings to learn, grow, and consistently expand on how we use Greenhouse at BuzzFeed. I loved working with them, and would recommend their product to every business that works with a high volume of recruiting.
Can't wait for the mobile optimized version of this product!

Best way to recruit great employees.

My experience has been positive with Greenhouse. We love the product and help from our CSM.
Vorteile
The scheduling feature is really great in Greenhouse. It's eliminated a lot of the back-end work that is required to schedule an interview, and tells the scheduler where each candidate is at in the process.
Nachteile
I dislike that there is not an interview kit option for the "Take home test" that allows you to schedule when a test is sent out, and know when it is received.

Great and EASY to use
Overall, like the concept of Greenhouse, your business needs to be constantly hiring in order to feel all the benefits of this great ATS program.
Vorteile
All candidates are on one page and you and your colleagues can see notes of comparison on the candidates. Once a candidate is hired, you can easily onboard them by instantly sending them forms to complete on their device (no printing required).
Nachteile
Features can get confusing and hard to navigate.

Greenhouse changed the ATS game
PROS:
The way it allows for easy team collaboration and the level of customization available when it comes to developing internal interview processes. The hiring process for each role can be as simple or complex as it needs to be. The client support resources are also as good as it gets.
CONS:
Just like every other SaaS company, there are features that could be added but it's just a matter of getting them on the product road map. I feel they do a great job of listening to product improvement suggestions and providing a realistic expectation whether it's feasible and a possible timeframe.
There are a lot of ATS options out there. Greenhouse might be on the high end cost-wise, but you get what you pay for.

Transformative ATS!
Greenhouse has been instrumental in helping our rapidly growing startup to not only streamline, but also improve our recruiting processes. The ATS is extremely intuitive and user-friendly, making it incredibly easy to train all users and hiring managers.

Amazing recruiting tool.
Overall, Greenhouse is a great tool. It integrates well with our system and allows for quite a bit of customizability.

Greenhouse has helped streamline our recruiting process immensely. It's intuitive workflow is easy to use and the way it creates structure has helped me implement more efficient recruiting practices.
Greenhouse ensures my team is aligned on characteristics we're looking for and it helps me by tying every part of our process to an action. No one gets lost in the shuffle, and we are able to move quickly with stellar candidates. Beyond just the great software (that my whole team loves -- easy to get buy-in with hiring managers!) the Greenhouse support team is smart and helpful. My account manager Jenny Kong continuously over delivers, and the chat feature in the software is useful for in the moment help.

Love, Love, Love
Greenhouse is great, I would recommend it to anyone that is involved with the recruiting process.
Vorteile
We recently needed to go through a round of hiring and Greenhouse was the easiest way for me to be able to communicate with my recruiting team. I could easily enter feedback on each candidate, score them, and then communicate what next-steps with the candidate .
Nachteile
The only feature I would like to see is the ability to reach out from within the software to each of the candidates. Dial or email.

The webinars are really helpful and the product is relatively easy to learn. Integrates with practically every HRIS. The interface is clean and simple.
Nachteile
I don't like the scheduling function; having to go out to Google to find resources as opposed to having that information pulled in. Would also like to be able to rank candidates within jobs. Have to go into each candidate to look at ratings.

Great support before, during, and after setup. This has been my favorite ATS to work with in 6 years of HR and Recruiting!
Nachteile
This isn't their fault (and we were duly warned), but jobs and interview processes should be well-established during the job creation process. Changing things after the fact, although possible, can be a little complicated or confusing. We weren't used to so much choice!

A perfect experience!

I love the use of different features here. When my members and I interview a new candidate for a role, each of our roles, and questions, and what we need to do is clearly laid out and it makes the interviewing process so incredibly smooth!

Great young product with room to grow
It was a couple years ago, but it was a great improvement from other ATS's we've used in the past.

I really appreciated the ability to score and track interviewers and to look for biases and the data to support it.

The total flexibility on things like having every interview process be completely customized, also can create problems with reporting (such as having funnel reports across a dept or org).

Great ATS that (almost) has it all!
Vorteile
I like the UI (pretty simple and easy to use) and I LOVE the product support. The team at Greenhouse has always been very easy to get in touch with and quick to resolve issues and bugs with me; PLUS they have been very open to feedback re: features that I would love to see. Having used and tested a lot of ATS's I have a definite opinion.
Nachteile
The reporting functionality is relatively limited to canned reports, and it's pretty difficult to pull custom reports with info that I typically use to track conversion rate of prospects, etc. I've actually given them that feedback and I think they're working on more filtering capabilities for the prospecting tool as well, so I have confidence that they're improving this.

Good but there are better
After using greenhouse on the agency and applicant side, i was finally able to use it on the customer facing side. I must say the ease of use, UI and many other features make this a great product for any company large or small looking for an ATS system.

ability to view CV-s without donwloading them (almost always)
Nachteile
Roles and rights system is weird - in case I have created a job posting that is pending approval I do not have access to view the communication made within the job post. Only receive emails if anyone mentions me and I can't respond with mentions.
Candidates contacts should be easier to find once the job interview has started and needed to contact candidate on different means of communications.
Really good would be if it had an integration with video calling products so that I can easily start the call from there.
Some CVs come in rtf - so would like to see them in browser as well.

for recruiters who just look at resumes and nothing else...
Unpleasant experience, if all recruiters care about is a skillset than I'll gladly not work for the company. People should get hired and paid based on their value, not just their skill set.
Vorteile
Greenhouse IS SIMPLE TO USE. All it requires your name, email, and resume for recruiters and nothing more. This itself is a pro and con.
Nachteile
The fact that Greenhouse only asks for those 3 items when a user, like myself, applies for jobs is disconcerting. They clearly value a skill set over a person's personality and value. A paper does not justify someone's work ethic.

I think we are a small user and don't get much attention.
Nachteile
Not much. This system is frustrating to use. it is not intuitive for an experienced user of other ATS tools that the industry has used.Most everything. The navigation is not very good. Customer support...they send you a video tool but it doesn't cover much of what I need.

Some kinks to work out to make it as feature rich as the competition, but a solid choice for smaller shops.

Best of Class ATS Software
Vorteile
It's easy to implement, and the learning curve is very low. It has lots of powerful features that just make sense to use. Greenhouse ATS really automates most, if not all, of the recruiting process. It's a breeze to post jobs, track candidates, schedule interviews, submit and track feedback - all the way to closing candidates and making offers.
Nachteile
I hope they will come up with a true mobile app one of these days. It would be awesome to reject and hire candidates on my iPhone.

Simplifies everything
Choosing Greenhouse over other ATS's was difficult. It had by far the steepest price tag, but I would never go back. In just 2 months we decreased the amount of time a candidate stayed in our hiring pipeline by over half!
Greenhouse has intuitive calendar integrations that takes all of the difficulty out of scheduling interviews. It has also given our hiring managers the freedom to build a pipeline that works best for their department, and the job they're hiring for. Finally, Greenhouse has helped to bring referrals into our cultural lexicon with its social media integrations and simple referral process.

Extremely easy to use, all companies should use this for their ATS!
Vorteile
I like that Greenhouse is very user friendly. Before my team even trained me on how to use Greenhouse, I was able to understand the basics due to it being very easy to navigate. I also like how you can advance candidates to next steps with a simple click of a button. With previous ATS a lot of stuff is still very manual, Greenhouse makes tracking candidates and communicating to candidates very simple.
Nachteile
I wish that it had a feature added to where it tracked candidate's email responses. We are only able to see emails and communication that we as the employees send out, but sometimes it would be beneficial to see the activity that the candidate responds back.

Recently migrated from existing ATS onto Greenhouse
Vorteile
I like that Greenhouse is built around the idea that recruiting should be a company-wide function, not just an HR function. GH allows me to give Hiring Managers control over their interview processes and also allows me to easily track engagement.
The customer service is excellent and the release process for new features and bug fixes is very fast.
Nachteile
Setup takes a long time: three weeks in my case. Once you get the basics set up, everything is pretty easy.

Greenhouse changed my life as a recruiter and my department's efficiency. We are able to hire more people with less recruiters because GH cuts out so much of the busy work for us. It is cutting edge, with the newest integrations. Every employee I've spoken to was extremely personable.
