Easy, stable and with a great customer service

I was looking for a new software to design, sell and manage our itineraries and I ended up finding We Travel. [sensitive content hidden] was the first person I spoke to (it was a festivity but he gave me availability anyway as we were in a hurry) and then [sensitive content hidden] helped us set up our account. Coming from a software that provided very poor customer service this truly made the difference.
The software is well made, easy to use and with plenty of features. I am sure they will get even better in the future (possibly on the graphic aspect of it) but overall it is a very good and competitive product.

WeTravel strives to succeed!

Overall WeTravel has been responsive, reliable and listens. The functionality and "uptime" has been flawless (other than one issue we're working through at the moment).

Vorteile

I love that it has been responsive to user feedback and feature additions. I also love that it has saved us time, provides real support with a human, and is overall easy to use.

Nachteile

Recently it has removed a feature we were highly dependent upon without an acceptable alternative. We are hoping they bring this feature back.

We Travel, the chargeback criminal

Very unsafe and unclear. Also some CSR guys are pretty aggressive on the emails.

Nachteile

I would not recommend using We Travel, I have used them for a year and moved over 100K, and when there was a chargeback from an unhinged client of only $1000USD, I asked for help on how to make the case, but they didn´t help or provide any support over the phone. They will treat you like a thief and threaten you a legal action immediately if you don´t pay for the chargeback right away, no matter what.

So you are paying them a big percentage of your earnings and they are not even helping you, the emails from the complaints department were never signed, no name on the email you don´t know who you are speaking with. They have blocked transactions already on the way to the bank, denied me information from the bank where the dispute was done, sadly I had to file a report to the FTC and now taking legal action. The person who made the chargeback is committing fraud and the person using the services and then because very violent on our premises, that´s why she was asked to leave.
In the beginning, they will even find a representative that speaks your language to get you to get their services, this person will promise you everything and support you all the time in all ways possible, even WhatsApp audios and such. Later on, they won´t even allow me to have a phone call with them as emails are quite limited for something so serious.
They never cared to give me their opinion on the material I was sending, it´s like they don´t care to have a chargeback and the way they work is all sketchy.
In my opinion, We Travel takes advantage that people are in different countries and laws don´t apply across countries so they can´t be held to the authorities so easily.
Look if you have a company go to your preferred bank and ask for the payment link service, it´s much more efficient and cheap and you can make claims in your own bank with your own laws. This company is really not trustworthy, we travel is very unsafe actually.

Excellent platform! I highly recommend it

Ever since we started to work with WeTravel, our bookings, accounting and ability to distribute final tour documents and messages to all participants has been so much easier than what we had before. I very much personally appreciate what this platform offers and we continue to host all of our tours that we book online with WeTravel.

Vorteile

The ease of setting up tours so that customers can sign up easily plus manage them from our end as well. Also, working with customer service has been fantastic, including our customer care representative [sensitive content hidden]. All of them are readily available: Online chat, email, phone etc.

Nachteile

Some of the glitches first getting going were challenging but have been resolved. I appreciate that customer service takes into account our concerns and the developers listen to customers' concerns for new revisions of the site. The accounting aspect of our company having to pay for the credit card fees on refunded participant tours is definitely a negative.

Toru Building and Easy To Use

Great overall experience from the beginning of use.

Vorteile

The ease of itinerary building is as good as promised, probably evne better than expected.
Being assigned an account manager that I can very easily schedule time with.
Customer service, customer service has been awesome. In this digital world with AI, Chat Bots etc, nothing beats a real live person helping with our business needs.

Nachteile

Too Much WeTravel splashed too often, too large, I would pay a free to have our brand be more "highlighted". I understand the partnership and the WeTravel website hosting our tours, great, I just think it's a tiche weighted too heavily on WeTravel

Excited to be full on board

Great! We are coming from a very outdated system, so we are easily on board with the new platform and our customers are enjoying the process and finding the registration much easier. Love the itinerary builder that has just come live. The flexibility in inclusions and visual updates have been great.

Nachteile

As there are still development upgrades happening, we are still learning the differences from our old system. We've submitted our requests for development, which we know there are phases that are to come, but there hasn't been much change to date. Good booking platform for small tour operator with unique packages.

Being a beginner and having very specific needs, the platform is a very good starting point for me. Improvements are possible, but the team is very open to discuss feature requests.

Vorteile

Personal contact and support is outstanding.
It has been the only tool so far that allows me to create bookable experiences for customised packages.
Integrated support for all sorts of currencies and payment methods.

I wish transaction fees would be cheaper.

i dont like that the My Trips pagehas active links for the titles of each trip that tkes you to teh previoew of the trip. The titel fo the tripa nd photo, when clicked, take you to the trip page as a potential custoemr would see it. The link shjould rahter take you to the manage trip page. and the manage trip button should be a preview button.

WeTravel Changed My Business Model for the Better

Overall, I am very happy with WeTravel. It has become a major element of our own travel blog where we embed links from several of our partners to sell their tours.

Vorteile

It makes international banking so much easier. US clients can easily pay with credit cards or bank transfers and our Ecuadorian partners can transfer funds for a low cost into their bank accounts. It's a win win.

Nachteile

I would like to see a sliding scale for pro-membership that is based on business size and location. For example, many of our partners in Ecuador would benefit from a pro account but the current pricing makes it unattainable for the amount of business they bring in.

I cannot fault the program or the people.

Vorteile

I had been looking for a secure and easy to use online booking system for my travel business. I was recommended WeTravel and I can say categorically it was the absolute right choice for Poland At War Tours. All the features work as they should and the team are so friendly and responsive.

Nachteile

Like many online products there can be bugs that you need to iron out and learn how to use. But once you get the hang of it, you wonder why it was ever confusing :-) You also get to play with the system and get things just right before launching. This cuts out any end user issues.

GREAT PLATFORM

We are reaaly satisfied with We Travel, obviously we would be more happy if standard sers would be able to use the quick payment link or if send the funds to Brazil were that cheap than sending to the US bank account

Fantastic experience with Wetravel

All of this for free?!!!!! YES!

We were able to implement WeTravel pretty seamlessly (and quickly!) into our existing website. [sensitive content hidden], our Account Manager is incredibly responsive and solves all of our problems on the rare occasion we encounter one. Our salesperson, [sensitive content hidden], still checks in on us. I know they're a big company with many clients but we feel like we're the only one.

Vorteile

You can do SO much with the free version of WeTravel. The primary way we use WeTravel is for trek registration and payment activities, and we can do what we need with the free version. It saves us so much time and stress. We love WeTravel!

Nachteile

We're a small business and the annual cost for the Pro plan is more than we can justify at this time. Being on the free version means - understandably - that not all of the cool features are available to us. That's a bummer.

Almost perfect

You guys do your job well. You're responsive to problems when they occur, which is rare. Any movement on the invoice front? I'm a broken record here but I'm gonna keep skipping until it's fixed.

Great job keeping track of our booking forms. One improvement I'd like to see since you keep track of people's email, is to remember the data that they entered on the booking form which changes little from booking to rebooking.
This way upon re-booking most fields will be pre-propagated like their passport number, their birthdate, their phone number, of course they have an opportunity to update anything as needed.

Nachteile

Invoices, invoices, invoices. I need to be able to create an invoice. It's very trying for me to take the data and build an invoice. It should be a click of a button. That's your biggest downfall. Without an invoice if you could at least let us delete that information (I mean old information that's no longer pertinent) to keep track of what is due. Clients are confused when there are changes and it confuses me at times as well. I don't have an hour to put into correct and everything to make sure it's 100% right.

Her background in the student tour operator industry provides her with a deep understanding of the unique needs of this market, which has been incredibly valuable to us. [sensitive content hidden] offered insightful ideas on how we can improve our business operations and better integrate WeTravel into our day-to-day interactions with customers.

She also provided thoughtful suggestions to streamline processes on our end when working with WeTravel, making it easier and more efficient. It's been a pleasure to work with someone who truly understands our industry and offers practical, actionable advice.

Great addition to our business.

Has been a great tool for our business, and we will continue to use it.

Vorteile

It is easy to use, looks pretty and simple for the customer. Making refunds or adjusting is quite simple. For transferring money out it is also no hassle, the platform is trustworthy. Our contact [sensitive content hidden] is always available and works with us with our feedback, resolve any questions, and explain new features. Our experience has been great with him, and overall with the platform.

Nachteile

Everything works great. This is not a big deal but I’d like to have a bank of images stored within the WeTravel platform that we can easily access without needing to upload them each time. I know we can copy trips and reuse images, but when creating something new, it would be helpful to have a more streamlined process, and be able to just select on the images we need that have already been stored. Currently, to view an image in full size, we have to preview it—ideally, we could simply click on it within the edit screen to see if it works.

Love them. They are responsive, trustworthy, and an amazing tool for us.

WeTravel freed up so much of my time managing our groups we take overseas. It also helped free up my mind since I had an acccurate way to receive traveler details and upgrades. It has been a game changer for us. I recommend it all the time to people in a field like ours. Brandon Hartman is our contact there and he is always there to help and take suggestions. Highly Recommended To Benefit Tour Operators and Clients

It has been a massive help in reducing the amount of administration involved in booking clients and keeping track of them. I love the way that they can quickly produce personalised training videos whenever I need help in doing something with our tours on WeTravel. And they have been so helpful all along, from day 1 until now (more than one year later). Payments have been easy and it has really been a pleasure working with WeTravel.

That clients are able to pay by credit card so they feel a lot more confident about signing up for a trip and paying their deposit.

Takes a while to get your money out for tour operators

We were approved and signed up with WeTravel, spent countless hours building our tours and launching them on the platform. We told them upfront that we had a sister brand that did Cuba Tours. They said it was not a problem we just needed to sign something. Thinking all was good and approved I acepted bookings through the playform. But there was another process I wasn't told about, that was signing up with Stripe. Stripe has pinged me or bloack listed our company because we have a sister company that does tours in Cuba. Hence our money is stuck in WeTravel and there are no other ways to get it out.

Vorteile

The booking engine seems nice and the staff was nice at first.

Nachteile

They weren't clear about who their payment processor is, Stripe. It take a long time to get your money out. Not very efficient for a travel company.

The best guest management software!

My experience with WeTravel has been great. From product demo to on-boarding, then support along the way. A standout feature of having a subscription is having my own personal rep at WT ([sensitive content hidden]) for support. Although I haven't needed much assistance (since the program is so intuitive), the few times I have, [sensitive content hidden] has been very accessible and helpful. I can't imagine running my business without using WeTravel as my registration software.

Vorteile

WeTravel makes the entire guest management process simple (on both trip producer and client ends). I'm a sole proprietor and using WT is like having a fully staffed back office for all my administrative needs.

Nachteile

I have yet to find anything I don't like about the WeTravel system!

The Right Program for our Travel Business!

Solid platform with the functionality we need

WeTravel has allowed us to quickly make our tour products bookable online. We have had no issues with payment processing, and the flexibility of the platform is impressive. As our trips have a higher price point, the ability to offer payment in instalments is very appreciated by our customers.
