Great processing payments solution
We have been looking for YEARS! for a good tool to charge our guests with credit card, debit card, our account debit. We travel solved our issues and gave us a great opportunity to make the payment processing for our guests smooth and easy. We love it!
Vorteile
We love the fact that we can customize trips, send a link and payment is done. Money is in the account very fast and the international wire transfer is very quick as well. Fees are very affordable.
Nachteile
There are some things that could be improved but overall it's a great solution for receiving payments.

WeTravel is an Excellent Platform for Small-group Tour Operators
I no longer spend hours sending out pdf invoices to my clients, reminders to pay, and tracking how many people have signed up for each and every trip. This is a huge time-saver, and even the free version of the software does about everything I want.
Vorteile
It's relatively straightforward to use. After a 1-hour introductions session with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] (my very helpful point person at WeTravel) I was able to quickly put together and list my tour series.
Nachteile
It would be nice to have a separate registration form where the client would be directed AFTER they book and pay the deposit. Having them fill in a complete registration form as they are booking could be intimidating and reduce how many people follow through.

A great fit for our company and clients
We've been so pleased with WeTravel for ease of payment by our clients. [sensitive content hidden] has been integral in our smooth on-boarding and regularly check-ins to see how it's going. He's also quick to respond when I've got questions.
Vorteile
Setting up a payment page for our clients is quick, easy and user-friendly for me and for the client when they come to pay. GREAT on-boarding with [sensitive content hidden] and ongoing support.
Nachteile
It would be great to have a means to set up templates for such things as inclusions so we aren't having to build from scratch. We figured out our own sort of work-around but it seems like an obvious feature to make it quicker and easier to build new tours. Also, an online gallery within WeTravel for all of our photos so we aren't uploading them over and over.

We Love WeTravel!
Vorteile
As the owner of an international retreat travel business (SolSeed Retreats) that runs over 20 trips annually, WeTravel has been a huge asset to us! Not only are is their customer service team incredibly helpful and responsive, but their trip registration pages and payment processing features are very user friendly and easy to navigate and set up to your liking. We also love how they are constantly improving their softwares’ functionality and adding new features for payment collection in multiple currencies, vendor payouts, registrant information collection and more. The best part? Their fees are only 1% of your trip’s revenue, which is much less than Square or PayPal. We look forward to continuing to partner with WeTravel for our retreat registration and payment processing for years to come!
Nachteile
The only con would be information collection. We're still trying to optimize the way we collect info from retreat participants to make it as easeful as possible. WeTravel has some great information collection features, but it would be nice to have more comprehensive and user friendly information collection abilities, or even an app where you can push out notifications to participants, and collect info from them that way.

Great tool for small companies
We used PayPal before and it was a headache! They retained my money twice and it was impossible to contact a human being to solve the problem. We lost our money and I didn't feel comfortable asking for payments with PayPal.I loved the support that both [sensitive content hidden] has given us, even after hours.I feel that they care!Maybe I am "old school" and to be able to reach a person has been a real treat for me. One of the best options for managing Multi-Day Tours

WeTravel is an inexpensive and great option for managing multiday tours. They are very competitively priced and their system is easy to use with great customer support.

Some more options and functionality could be offered. However, I have noticed continued significant growth in this area and the company is always working to improve its product!

An Occasional Travel Experience

My wife and I gathered a group of friends, and some brought their friends, for a trip to Europe in July 2020. Of course, the trip had to be cancelled due to the corona virus. This was a personal effort, not conncected with a business or industry.
We set up our trip with our travel agency, and then we used WeTravel to recruit our travel companions and manage the financial components. The program was easy to learn, and technical assistance was always one "chat" away. We liked the facility to add photos to each day of our itinerary, to offer several payment plans, to add disclaimers where needed. When we were prepared to do so, we sent the web page to our friends, often adding a personal message of encouragement to the pitch.
As each party came on board, they were able to register and submit deposits. WeTravel sent our welcome letter to the new travelers and began the periodic reminders to those who chose the multiple payment plans. All worked smoothly, and we received no complaints from any of our travel partners.
We enjoyed worry-free security of the travel funds held by WeTravel, and each transfer of collected funds to the travel agency was handled in a professional and timely manner. The accounting of total funds and of each individual's payments was readily available throughout the process.
Nachteile
We shared this suggestion with the administrators of the WeTravel site.
We would like to have a print-friendly option within the program, so that we could print a travel itinerary to hand out or send through the mail to friends.
Much beyond that oprtion -- and we would be willing to pay extra for this -- how about a trip publisher component so that we could download information and create a day by day travel description booklet for each traveler?
Like least about this software? Nothing that comes to mind.

Easy to use, let’s me worry about the other things.
Wonderful! I had a zoom call with my a account manager, Antonietta Robino, and she was so helpful and friendly. The customer service is great!
Vorteile
It was easy to create my trip and I was able to edit it often. The customer service team was prompt and helpful. I love that emails are sent automatically to all the attendees and the feature to have payments collected automatically lets me focus on things other than payment collection.
Nachteile
I didn’t figure out the payment plan feature until a couple of people had signed up. It would be great if it was possible to add a payment plan to someone after the initial registration. (For those of us who missed this feature)

Best travel booking platform
I have been working with Wetravel for one year and loving it. I am happy with he help I get every time I have a doubt. It is rare to see in a big business this type of attention to customer. It usually 'fades' with time but fortunately it does not seem the case with Wetravel.

Tha ability to embed the payment button on my website and split payments. Also the ability to create several packages ad 'add-ons' to the programs.
Nachteile
The photos that are offered when we do not upload ours.

I’ve had a great experience with wetravel for years.

I love that it’s a one stop shop. It collects data, lets clients research your trip and reviews as well as book and it sends payment reminders. Makes them feel safe.

That you can’t send an email of a trip announcement to more than 3 ppl at at time.

Best Thing Ever!
I love the payment processing and Itinerary builder. My clients can view the trip, download a brochure and pay all in one place. They send automatic reminders so now I don't have to remember to email clients about payment reminders. They even capture new leads! I love it!
Vorteile
This is definitely an all-in-one for me! I was able to eliminate a few other applications that I was using and paying for. I have everything in one app!

Vorteile
The interface for creating and duplicating trips is clean and intuitive. The processing fees are low aside from the new monthly fee.
Nachteile
While the monthly fee for the pro plan is an understandable addition, I think it would have been nice to give long-term customers like me a lifetime discount on this fee. I would like to see WeTravel prioritize affiliate software.

One of the best payment systems for travel organizers!
Already over 40 bookings with WeTravel and totally satisfied with the system. For small travel business owners it's a life saver.
Vorteile
One the hardest things in the travel industry is to end up with the online payment provider you will use to accept bookings and get payed online. Usely commission rates are high and you need to integrate the payment system with your booking system. With WeTravel this is solved very easily! You create your booking page with all trip details and information, including daily itinerary and custom fields if you want to. Nice, simple and beautiful. Then you have the option to email, social share or even embed your trip page into your website! Then you just sit back and bookings start coming in with a 2.4% fee +0.30 cents per transaction for Europe users (USA users have even lower fees). Also you always keep full control of the trip, manage your participation list, keeping track of payments, issue refunds etc. Also customizable to fit the colors of your brand.
Nachteile
I have to admit that the one thing I don't like about this is that it is branded and the booking page has a big WeTravel logo on it. Could confuse customers when they see it assuming that this is your brand name or even think they have opened a wrong link. Haven't had trouble till now but still this is something I'm not really fond of. I'd prefer to have my own company name and logo and WeTravel have a small "powered by WeTravel" mentioning on the bottom of the page. Although you can write trip details and descriptions in your own language the basic titles and sections can only be in English. Pretty OK with it but would like to have the option to totally translate the booking page.

Very good, the only thing is when the page crashes, this happens from time to time, not often but when it does it is very annoying.

My experience with WeTravel
Every contact I have had with WeTravel has been a positive experience. My initial contact / account manager was [SENSITIVE CONTENT] . She was a pleasure to work with for about 2 years. I have recently been handed over to a new Account Manager ([SENSITIVE CONTENT] ). He has been just as pleasant to work with. WeTravel is still growing and still making positive updates to what they have to offer. I get busy and often miss what updates they have made to their platform. I have found their Quarterly Updates to be VERY BENEFICIAL in helping me make sure I take full advantage of the product I am paying for.

TRANSACTION FEES are lower than other options I have at my disposal.
Nachteile
Mainly a CON on me. I do not adjust to change very well and am having a difficult time personally letting go of my OLD MS WORD FORMS that help me keep track of my tours ... passengers, expenses, and profits.

A useful platform to accept bookings
It is the main platform we use for new bookings for our experiences (retreats).
The main reason we use it is because we like the option to list different experiences with different packages and instalments at each one. However, we find very time consuming to handle new bookings after they've been made, as we have to copy paste manually all the fields on our excels to have this dynamic overview of bookings that is missing.

- Option to add several instalments to a product package
- Automatic reminders to customers for due payments
- Quick customer support ([SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been very quick and knowledgeable)
- Easy to refund and cancel a booking without extra fees
Nachteile
- No dynamic dashboard to view bookings, payments, instalmets due (You can only download the excel of the bookings but once a new booking is made, you need to re-download it and any notes you kept at the excel are gone.)
- No feature to view an overview of bookings. You can add notes to each guest, but there there is no overview to see them. You have to click on every partIcipant to view notes (which is not practical/ useful)
- Receipt Number appears ONLY on the confirmation email we receive when someone pays. On the payment dashboard there is no place where the receipt number of each transaction can be found

WeTravel Scams black people out of their deposits
We will never use them again, we will never refer them to anyone in our network. Our experience was horrible, forced to pay for all of this out of pocket and they have the nerve to be sending our attendees emails for reviews.

Communication is extremely horrible, no phone number to contact, they dont reply via email. We have been waiting to hear back from someone regarding our monies collected for the trip we organized.

Smooth Software for Group Bookings
The customer service was and is outstanding. I wish I could use it more but it's quite niche in what it achieves for me in my business.
Vorteile
I like that I can quickly set up an itinerary for groups who want to pay individually without fuss. And the payment is processed swiftly as well - this saves me a lot of hassle and time.
Nachteile
It doesn't integrate with any of my other systems that I use. So currently I can only use it as a standalone feature. But for that it is good.

I can say for certain that my income has increased due to the ease of implementing WeTravel.

I am a small business, and WeTravel has made everything easier and more organized for me. Folks can simply register for my events online, and I can keep track of everyone with ease. WeTravel's customer support has always been able to solve any minor issue that I have had.

Glad we made the switch to WeTravel
Our WeTravel experience is great. We use the platform daily to sell our vacation packages. Our clients also use it while traveling in order to access their itineraries.
Vorteile
Very user friendly for admins in setting up listings and inventory management. Easy communication to travelers via the platform. Auto payment reminders and fantastic customer service.
Nachteile
The back-end control. Would like to be able to have access to a master client database so we can book return people into other trips, not have them fill out new questionnaires every time, be able to charge their cards when they ask us to do it. Also need a readable URL function on the trip pages so clients don’t need to be on WiFi to access their itinerary. Also need to fix the image bugs. We are constantly have to reupload images as they disappear from our listings - this is a major source of stress especially as we ourselves are always traveling and creating listings in the go. Are you developing an App? This would be ideal as a travel
company. Would also like more flexibility in pull reports and payment data; no search functions here.

We are very satisfied and will continue using WeTravel.
Vorteile
WeTravel is easy for us and our clients. It greatly reduces our workload by sending reminders to clients about their payment and alerting us when a payment is past-due. It also streamlines our paperwork, namely having participants sign our waivers and terms.

Optimistic and still hopeful
The ability for us to make individual payment options available to our groups is wonderful. The ability to modify and upsell our customers and adjust within WeTravel is NOT good, which limits our ability to drive more business our and your way. Our number one complaint from our customers at this point is the frustration with our payment system. They are told they are paid in full, then add something and cant make payments any longer. They to issue a refund is a nightmare. We have donors who send payments, so occasionally we will get an over payment, which then messes up all accounting features. Your system is seriously lacking in this area.

The ability for our office and the customers to access and use the information is great.
Nachteile
The limitations and ability to meet the needs or customers are lacking substantially within our market, and they could easily be modified to create a solid customer experience, however they are not there yet and your limitations of accessing people to respond in a timely manner are not good. When you're dealing with peoples money, you need to have quick response times. Online support and an excuse of 'We don't have telephones to talk to you' is a terrible response. Planning ahead when we are working together is fine, but when there are problems, waiting isn't good for customer relations.

Good paltform to charge credit cards, especialy for companies outside of the US.

it is a little complicated to charge amounts with cents, for example 20 dollars and 25 cents.

Best product at the best price
Customer service via the chat is outstanding.
Vorteile
How easy it is to sign up as an international buyer and having the ability for my guests to pay with their credit cards . Payment options is the best.
Nachteile
There isnt any possibility to download an excel file with a complete accounting sytle report of all transactions except for packages. Its a major problem for my business

Excellent product - has cut our billing and collection processing time by 80%
Excellent. I am excited to see what new features WeTravel rolls out soon. We are very pleased with the service and product.
Vorteile
We really appreciated all the set up help and constant support from [sensitive content hidden]. We like the ability to build an on-line brochure quickly and easily. We LOVE the online payment features for our customers and the billing reminders auto -generated to our customers.
Nachteile
We find allocating payments received from WeTravel internally a bit difficult. We find messaging the whole group will also message people who have cancelled from the tour. There does not seem to be away around this.

There are more benefits than issues. Very useful and helpful. It allows your customers to be able to create bookings on their own and after regular business hours.

Single and Multi-Day Tour Operator
It’s been really good for us. Setup and inputting trips has been straightforward for us. I particularly like the quarterly followups they do. My account managers Antonietta and Maria Claudia have been great to work with.

Vorteile
Very robust system, great customer support and of course [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is available for additional training / support if necessary. Credit card option is pretty cool.
Nachteile
Cost could be better as a gesture of loyalty and promoting your platform. We've been a strong advocate for Wetravel and some of your bigger clients here in Ecuador I'm sure have signed on due to our influence. Happy Gringo definitely had asked my opinion about the platform back in the day, Secret Garden Hostel is where I used to have the travel agency, they adopted the platform, Colibri tours, Tours Cuyabeno a recent addition. Would be great if you acknowledge in some way those that are promoting your platform to other businesses.

Great Service!
It's made it easier for me to advertise my culinary retreats, and it even got me three clients whom I wouldn't have had otherwise because they found me with a Google search. I think that using WeTravel helped my website pop up higher in search results...not sure, but I think it was a factor. I've enjoyed using it and will continue to use their service because it's affordable and is a beautiful, simple solution for my business needs.

I love how easy it is to fill out and that it looks beautiful and professional right away! It's a beautiful template. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was great to work with and cheerful from our first online meeting. She explained everything to me and has been very helpful. I look forward to continuing to use WeTravel for my future culinary retreats in France.
Nachteile
On the homepage of my retreat listing some people told me they didn't see they were supposed to click on the separate days that would then open up and show them the details of each day. It's kind of hidden and hard to see. I'd love to see that changed. Overall I've loved the service.The only super challenging part has been that in September I started having serious issues logging in with the 2 factor authentication. I've spent many hours trying to log in and over emails with your associates trying to figure out the problem. They're helpful folks, but I'm still having the same issues with Google Authenticator and can't get into my account. I've tried countless times. Would love to get that resolved.

The best way to pay your trips
The best experience of all. I like how the program looks like, the payment process and the support behind in order to use all the facilities that We Travel offers.

Great program
This travel company is extremely responsive to my needs and desires. I've really appreciated working with them.
Vorteile
I lead an annual trip for students to the East Coast, and this system makes it very simple for students and parents to register for the trip.
Nachteile
The only real drawback is that some of the information is not found intuitively by me in your spreadsheets. (As an example, parents who register as single-occupancy rooms show up as "double occupancy" on an early screen, and then if I move several more columns I can see that they have upgraded to single occupancy. This did cause confusion with a traveler this year, since I told them they had not registered for a single room, when in fact they had.)
