I liked the most of PowerPoint, the way that it is so easy to create a presentation to show someone just in minutes. Personally what i like the most, is the connectivity it brings between the devices through the app, an example of this would be, i do my presentations on my laptop, but at the moment of presenting them i present them through a projector using my ipad, and this makes life so much easier.

Nachteile

I liked the least the bugs presentations may have when changed of platform, sometimes if you dont have PowerPoint installed in a computer but want to open a document, you can use similar apps to do so, but sometimes the designs and order of things get changed by a bit.

With Powerpoint tool, we can put in more efficiency in our slides. The content can be put in an orderly manner following the highlighted headings and sub-headings. There are several themes also pre-installed which are casual as well as professional providing the users to choose from that fits best according to the situation. Video files, pictures and other attachments can also be easily attached which makes the audience more focused on the current presentation going on. Transitions and animated content makes it more easy fro audience to catch the whole idea of the presentation.

Nachteile

It is quite basic tool which only on has limited sets of themes and content style to choose from. If not managed properly, the content can easily get mixed up distorting the whole presentation. Downloading additional themes and designs is also not so easy.

It is the most professional presentation software that most companies use. Very impressive presentations can be created with this software. With the various built-in features, adding graphical tables, survey results even imported from Microsoft Excel to the presentation slides is very easy with just a few key clicks. Another advantage of the PowerPoint presentation is that unlike an elaborately designed presentation board, changes and updates can be made easily even at the last moment. PPTs can be easily incorporated into other information-sharing software applications.

Nachteile

There is a danger of forgetting that you yourself are the focus of the presentation. The template library still lacks targeted templates that can be easily transferred to real-life situations. Copying and pasting slides into documents is also problematic. It has occurred that it has taken a while for the customer support team to answer emails or chats. Sometimes I am pressed for time and therefore need quick customer support. In my opinion, some of the functions could be more user-friendly. Inserting a video could be easier.

Not all videos can have their url copied from online, nots don’t carry over so if you use one font on the first page of a presentation it would be nice to have it choose that font and size on all pages in the same presentation, not able to change a designs page within a presentation. How a border on a design can’t be moved.

It is so involved in each and every individual's life that it starts from the Childhood when a Kid wish to Learn or experience his/her first hand in a computer . Most importantly there are so many liking's of mine for Power point ,which makes me realize what to keep 1st , however the most enjoyable feature of PP is its " Ease of use " which makes it more Worthy that even a 1 year child would love to use a hand to it wihout any understanding .

Even if i think hard , I don't see anything. however there is a recent feature which has been added to power point like it seems people can edit documents and it might be something which will be helpful, but i kept least about this feature.

On it's own, there's not much to dislike about PowerPoint. The only real cons come in when comparing to other products or platforms which offer some of the same features you find at more advanced use-cases without a learning curve that is a little bit less steep. That said, I'd argue that in most cases, you're also sacrificing overall functionality as well as the peace of mind that comes with using the industry standard.

Its quick to navigate through and allows you to insert images, videos and custom design artwork if necessary. Its perfect for a beginner or at expert level or even being a qualified graphic designer, you will have all the essentials needed at your fingertips. PowerPoint will give anyone the ability to be successful any topic they will be presenting. You wont be disappointed. I highly recommend buying it and using it for all your upcoming presentations.

With all technology there are a few setbacks...with this one some things like inserting videos could be a bit easier but just takes a bit of know how. It would be nice to be able to just copy and drop videos into the different power points. Web links are easy to insert, but for some reason there are two versions, one in slide show and the other is not. Its just confusing which version to go back to that everyone can see on the projection screen. Its not real apparent how to make it so that you can see your notes versus not seeing it. A zoom feature would be nice to have also, you can see the notes, but your audience cannot. It could be easier to read with things like Google Docs...Maybe just make it more user friendly with other platforms is my personal suggestion.

I have used this throughout school and having been offered Office 365, it makes the experience even easier. Never before have I ever worked with such a flexible piece of software. All of your presentations can be saved to the cloud so no need for a USB anymore. Nothing can go wrong when creating a presentations, you just have to pay attention to design elements nor specific instructions by whoever instructs you to provide a formal presentation.

1. Honestly, the themes are very minimal and overused. You rarely see new ones available to use and that makes for presentations to be a lot less appealing unless you alter the coloring and elements on the slide.
2. Saving to the cloud is a new concept for some so connecting to OneDrive might be a hassle for some.
3. I wish there was better customization of SmartArt. It's like you're only accustomed to what is available, not what you can create.

I have used this since 2005 and each version gets better. I love how you can clean up images in the program, add frames and customize fonts. Can be used on only platform and on mobile devices. Its getting close to acting like Adobe photoshop. But I love the presentation you can create for clients and you can even build your portfolio with in it.

The pricing is okay you can either do the subscription or purchase the Microsoft suite and upgrade. Most computers don’t have CD drives any longer so I’d do the subscription with the suite

After the recent updates, each and every product of Microsoft has been drastically and so did PowerPoint. The main and huge visual change was the smooth cursor moves while typing. That itself gave a professional feel to the product. Templates always play a major role for me while creating presentations on the go or maybe in a short span of time.

If more customization was possible, this product could have been even better for ones who are into graphics and animation and other stuff as well. Like not just changing the color of a slide template but even being able to change the shapes' sizes or opacity or other transformations (shapes that maybe a part of the template). So to embrace more and more creativity, you don't have more than N options, but yes, in most cases these N options are more than sufficient.

I've been using PowerPoint since I was high school. I was able to do my reports easily without abusing my hands in writing on the board or on a big manila paper. With the help of PowerPoint, I was able to create one subject report in about 10 minutes, but still look that I've invested too much time on it.

Now that I am working, same thing applies. I can confidently lead board meetings because I feel prepared. Our Executives feel that I am a very responsible person, and I really love what I am doing because of the preparations I do during meetings. One of which is my presentation powered by PowerPoint.

I had my first kiss with fame when I was invited to speak at a seminar, I tried other software to make my presentation, but I ended up with PowerPoint.

I tried other software because I thought powerpoint was too complicated at first, but on the long run, it's what I ended using.

That same day, I got PowerPoint to finally face my fears, watched a couple of videos on YouTube, and boom, I had myself a nice presentation.

On the day of my seminar, my PowerPoint looked beautiful on the projector screen, this quickly boosted my confidence.

Long story short, the presentation went smoothly, the whole audience was captivated.

And there’s also a nice addition to the PowerPoint that I really like, the Storyboard shapes. You can use a set of existing storyboard elements or quite easily create new ones and add them to the library.

If there is one key point that I would like to stress, it is a really good and almost total control of the look and general feel of the presentation. If you have a vision in your head of how your presentation should look like, you can basically make it almost the same with all the tools that the PowerPoint is offering.

PowerPoint has become the easiest way to present material to fellow classmates as a presenting student as well as a great way to receive information. Presenting lectures using PowerPoint and allowing students to access and view the information available has made studying and note taking in college so much easier. I especially like the area for notes at the bottom! Very useful for the speaker who can rely on this rather than note cards or overloading the slide with information.

One addition I think could be made for this program is in it's presenter mode. With the current move of classes to online formats, several of my professors have chosen to record their lectures onto the slides for students to view later. Many students like to be able to make the window smaller when listening to the lecture in presentation mode, however this can not be done while it is in the presentation mode. If it could still run with the window smaller this would enable students to record notes from the lecture onto another open document.

I have noticed that PowerPoint can be difficult for people who are not tech savvy. Many people don't know how to access the slide master to edit the template. It's not so obvious to see how to do that. I think google slides may do a better job of allowing you to access and edit master slides. Another thing is that there are so many different versions of PowerPoint. The versions for Mac sometimes don't have the same functionality as the versions for Windows. This can be really frustrating. There is Office 365, PowerPoint 2016, and I think there are still a few other versions. So when you search for technical help, you have to make sure you know which version you are using and make sure the tip is for that version. Sometimes the microscoft support site is not even accurate.
Another small thing that has been annoying over the years, is the inability to wrap text around an object or picture. Perhaps this feature is now available in one their software versions.

- Files change/shift from Mac to Windows, but most frustratingly computer to computer
- Type handling is poor
- Formatting text, shapes, etc. is not intuitive and usually involves right clicking, choosing a tab, opening up another pane, etc. and is not efficient
- Charts from excel are imported at different sizes if on Mac vs. Windows
- Tables are hard to copy/paste data into, not easy to format
- Seems to run slow

Powerpoint has an excellent interface with many tools such as changing letters, image filters, watermarks, elements to change the appearance of slides such as themes, dynamic slides, you can upload videos to make the presentation of more dynamic reports. In general, in my department we recognize Powerpoint what is customizable, and that's why we use it a lot

One of them, is the fact that you can not publish your slide shows directly on social networks such as YouTube or Facebook. I have used PowerPoint a lot in my career, mostly in advertising when putting together presentations and reports for our clients. I always found it very easy to use, and very easy to understand. You have the ability to make slides that look as simple or complex as you'd like them to be, and the format/appearance is so universally accepted by people that it makes it very easy to get whatever point you want to get across. My favorite feature is the one that allows you to click ahead to any slide in the presentation and then click back to the original slide seamlessly, which allowed me to jump ahead if clients had specific questions, answer them, and then continue the presentation.

While I also said this was a positive, the simplicity of the product's appearance and functionality can really limit your creativity. It helps in business presentations when the goal is to get across data and information quickly, but if you'd like your presentation to be more creative and visually appealing, the platform is fairly limited.

As an instructor and tutor, PowerPoint provides me with an add-on extension for Camtasia which makes create videos from my presentation slides.

That is not all, PowerPoint also provide a PDF file extension which makes me to export my beautiful slides into a PDF File which makes it easier for my readers to read and understand easily.

Nachteile

The least thing I'd like about this software is the fact that one can't get it as a standalone application, it comes with Microsoft Office Suite.

And most of other softwares in the Office suite package are not often used by me therefore not making me to get the overall value from the amount paid in acquiring the software.

I have been using MS Power Point for more than 10 years. This is a great tool to crrate outstanding presentations. Below are best features:
- Design ideas: it allows you to quickly build amazing looking presentationz without much effort
- Support for converting directly to pdf when saving
- Nice animation and transition effects
- Allows to add notes below slides for quick checks
- Support for wide range of smart graphs, shapes, photo sources etc.

Nachteile

- Some settings are difficult to find.
- Design ideas section do not always provide consistent results. You can get significantly different design options within the same slide pack which makes the presentation designwise inconsistent.

The disadvantages are when the presenter depends a lot on the slides.
Unexpected technical difficulties can occur during or before a PowerPoint presentation.

Vorteile

I like how accessible this presentation software is. There are many premade templates that make presentation development super easy and stylish. I also found customizing my presentation really easy with the Design Ideas panel.

Nachteile

I find the SmartArt tools a little clunky and not as easily customized. I think the templates show a lot of promise and these types of graphics are desirable for presenting results, but the tools themselves could be more intuitive to the user.

It is simple to deliver information with PowerPoint using extremely good presentation methods that are more understandable and impressive
It's a highly recommended presentation program since I've never encountered any of my clients who were unhappy with a PowerPoint presentation. We can make online slideshows, and embed original graphics and videos using this method.

Nachteile

It should be more user-friendly, as numerous competing presenting tools excel in this aspect. It is incompatible with the development of original artwork or graphics. If you want to create one-of-a-kind graphics, create them in another software and then import them into PowerPoint. Which is tedious and time-consuming.

Vorteile

Great software for preparing presentations for work, I like the well designed interface because it is not hard to navigate, so its very pleasurable to work on. I also like the fact that it doesn't use up much of my system resources which makes me able to multitask efficiently.

Nachteile

Sometimes the customer support may take a little while to reply to my emails and the application takes some time to fully load at times.
