Sometimes having a problem to open it. It takes at least 2-3 minutes to open the files. But I think my files are too big that's the reason it's a little bit time.

The versatility in including text and images is the greatest advantage of using PowerPoint. It helps you deliver strong ideas in a well mannered fashion with a pinch of creativity in it ... I do take advantage of PPT to get high resolution posters and banners also with very less effort in formatting. The UI is also really good with almost all options directly available and easy to recognize.

Nachteile

The negative of the software is with handling higher sized files. It has a lag when very high resolution images and videos are embedded in the software. So, choose wisely and the platform won't crash on you :)

It comes a part of Microsoft Office so I don't have to pay for it. I like that still after all these years, it is still easy to use. It is still what they used to call user-friendly. It is easy to create new slides for presentation. when I do a slide show for my trainees, they mostly always go well.

The only problem I see with the program is that it seems to have trouble with other hardware. If I press a remote, it does not always move on to the next slide. I don't know if this is a fault of the program, it could be the fault of a person. I or somebody else did not do the setup of the equipment correctly. I am in my 50s and I admit that I have problems with new equipment sometimes. I would still recommend PowerPont to other people.

And also the special presentation menu appearing when the computer connected to projector gives an effienct flexibility like pointing options so on.

Presentations made easier thanks to Microsoft PowePoint, we have confidence when doing those presentations as pros. It has many layouts to choose from. The graphics designs are very beautiful and simple to use. The ability to link my presentations with other Microsoft softwares like excel makes my work easier. I like the fact that I can do multiple presentations. The ability to add slides and duplicate helps Incase I want to edit my presentations. The transition feature is a good one when presenting you don’t have to click next or previous.

I have been using PowerPoint since I was a child and loved hearing the laser sound effect on all of my animations. I've come a long way since then, implementing PowerPoints into presentations for school, college, and now clients. I've never had any issues using PowerPoint in the way it's meant to be used, as a Slide Show presenter. The animations have improved over the years along with the themes, and it is hard to ever forget the ease of creating a presentation using PowerPoint.

If PowerPoint has failed in anyway, in my opinion, it would have to be on the Presentation Style. Considering how long PowerPoint has been around, the basis of any presentation has remained the same, Slide after Slide of information, pictures, charts, etc. There has been no real innovation in the way a user is able to present their information, especially when you compare to another big Presentation Software, such as Prezi. It would be nice for Microsoft to up PowerPoint's capability to WOW people once again with a dazzling, new way to present information.

Another pro is how you can easily import visuals and videos from the web to include in your presentations. Overall, it is a great software for anyone to use and understand!

I have never experienced any cons with this presenting software, but sometimes when I have seen others present with this software, it is a little slow with the transition from slide to slide.

Although I have multiple alternative options to Power Point, such as Canva or SlideShare, I still rely heavily on Power Point, since its longevity on the market, its features and my own experience with it over (now) decades with the software, I'm able to create presentations quickly and efficiently.

Nachteile

I have to admit the templates here are not as exciting, creative or out of the box exciting to view as a Canva or Slide Share. I wish they included more template categories as well as example slideshows because sometimes a person just needs more examples to generate ideas, you know?

The major advantage is that it is very common almost all computers have Microsoft office installed in it. so it is easy to send presentations to the client.

The first time opening takes a lot of time to fire up power point, but once it is up it runs smoothly. Also the version updates makes us difficult to find a feature since it is placed else where in the newer version.

Powerpoint is quite easy to use, the features are clearly spelled out so one doesn't struggle to navigate through it. The graphics features are very useful for bringing life to a presentation. I can copy and paste text easily, duplicate slides instead of making new repeats. I can also add music to a presentation and this helps me own the room whenever I'm making a presentation. The best part is the presentation of slides using a projector, I can pick whichever section or page I want to show my audience without running through several slides using the slide manager.

Making text flow for complex concepts is quite challenging, I mostly have to abbreviate so I don't fill that page with too much text.
Also, the auto-text resize leads to differences in page text size, which takes a lot of time to correct.

For light or simple use, it is really easy to use and decorate the slides with proper visuals and text. For more detailed and professional work MS PowerPoint still needs a lot of improvements. It lacks drag and drop features such as illustrations, graphics, ready-made elements etc. It can be connected online with internal features offered by other useful websites such as Shutterstock, Giphy or Canva etc. Now the biggest drawback with all of the Microsoft products is that newer versions do not support old version formatting and newer versions documents if opened by someone in older versions then there always will be file conflicts. This needs attention and custom animation feature is good but needs more improvements and user-friendly features. The last thing which I need to mention is the availability of templates or themes. free themes are still not so cool and better themes should be introduced with better customization options.

I use power point on a daily basis and the best features i like the most are we free to choose the design of the slide and i use the presentation mainly to show the sales data and i use pie-charts and graphs to show our progression and its a user friendly presentation tool and no software or tool can beat MS PowerPoint since its traditional and now comes with different features with online updates.

Although slideshow structure and some elements of user interface remained same but new transition and effects were added regularly. I mostly use PowerPoint to give more visuality to data and tables and while working with tables my most liked feature is Distribute Rows feature in Layout tab. Usually when import any table to PowerPoint, rows and columns become in different size and shapes and it may be disturbing for audience. But with distribute rows feature I easily set desired size to columns and rows. Theme variants feature is also great feature which makes my slide more colorful and attractive to audience.

I am satisfied with PowerPoint and want to make a suggestion about a new feature. That is timeline feature which will make easy adding music and media files to your slideshows. With current version it is a little time consuming customizing sounds and other media files. But timeline feature will save time while adding different media types.

Personally, I find PowerPoint very straight forward and easy to use, and very versatile in the way you can manage all your projects with ease.
I first started using PowerPoint over 10 years ago it has really developed into a top-notch product, and the great news for me is the further integration with a good studio video editing software, as I have "grown up" with both.
Putting videos, images, sound, and designing the presentation to how you want it to be, is extremely easy for a beginner or even an expert to use, and although it was a steep learning curve back then, it is so much simpler to use today, plus Microsoft also offer free "PowerPoint for Windows" training with beneficial videos and tip sheets, so that you are obtaining the best results with their software.
I would not hesitate recommending PowerPoint to anyone looking to put together private or professional presentations.

I have never really had any challenges with the PowerPoint software, and as I said above, have been using it for well over 10 years, with a great number of projects completed on it. I can only comment on the Windows platform over this time, and the only challenges I have had to be honest are probably self imposed, with not knowing the full potential and shortcuts etc that are available.

You can also embed objects like excels, pdfs. We can group the components together and use different styles, scales etc. It has pre-defined templates and designs which are very rich.

Although there are others one there, no one comes close in terms of use and every school, business and company that I have worked for or in uses this for their presentations. Charities and churches use it too due to the ease of use and also the universal user base. Microsoft was clear to give us all in schools free copies of these software so we had the time to waste to learn how to use it and when we are in the market place - we just default to the familiar powerpoint presentation which I noticed my friend's 9 year create and deliver a flawless presentation!

I don't really have anything negative to report about the software except that the windows and Mac versions always have some issues with conversion even after all these years! So much so that everyone believes that there must really be a conspiracy. So everyone creates their presentation in Powerpoint and then converts it into a PDF to ensure compatibility between Mac and PC-created presentation.

I've used PowerPoint since I was on high school, and it made my life easy. The usual report that my classmates are doing which is writing in a big manila paper for more than 3 hours can be done in less than 10 minutes by me.

Now that I am currently working, I always make sure that I use PowerPoint whenever I do presentations, training or even meetings because it makes me look prepared, cool and smart though you don't really need to invest a lot of time doing such presentations because there are myriad of templates already on PowerPoint that a person can use and that is timely and relevant to the topic you will be discussing.

The only drawback I have for PowerPoint is that sometimes it crashes from time to time, and it takes a lot of time to open. I think it is not PowerPoint per se but the computer but I hope PowerPoint creates an update that addresses that concern.

I believe that it has not improved or changed over many many years, for example if it would allow an easier plugin for excel it would be amazing, also it does not allow macros that would help improve certain animations, I think like many Microsoft products they are not fully integrated with others that are similar and would greatly improve user experience. Automation is the future and PowerPoint hardly allows it (for example updating all graphs instead of one by one).

It is really smooth and easy to use because you can see all the tools needed for presentation plus it is offline presentation friendly! Powepoint comes with countless benefits such as , it is easy to use that is in designing and creating presentations. It also comes with readily available templates which are very convenient to the user. I personally find it very convenient and easy because as an Accounts Clerk when asked to make a presentation , I simply use powepoint which offers me readily available template this makes my work easier and saves time. It gives me the option to set my slides to display for a certain time period be it in minutes or seconds and that is very useful when doing time sensitive presentation. The main disadvantage of using Powerpoint is that it requires a computer , projector , screen and electricity to use it , without any of the items mentioned above , Powerpoint cannot be operated. Secondly, it's not platform independent that is, it only works on machines that runs windows operating system. Nevertheless, Powerpoint is an excellent software.

I have used powerpoint for years, what I like is it can be used for very basic purposes all the up to complex needs and all ranges in between, even while recorded sound as well. When I first starting using it I truly did not utilize all of the functionality that PP had to offer. Once I dug deeper this software truely does have alot to offer, and though they may be plenty of other options I am accustomed to the MS products and format which in turn relates to ease of use for me.

I will say in this day in age, slides are truly just pages in a simple combined format. Adding audio and video can help, but this can at times prove to be a bit of a challenge.
This software definitely requires some creativity to not make it boring, or the opposite can add to many effects which distracts from the information. An important lesson is you must think of your audience rather than personal preference.

PowerPoint can be quite slow to load, when you are having a significant amount of slides. The size of my decks that I develop can run into tens of megabytes rather easily, I wish we can look into reducing the size of the deck.
