What stands out most is the agility of presenting projects, slides, explanations and can be done in a sequential order. Also, I can edit the presentation in case of any unforeseen event.

It is simple and I can link any web page that is related to my presentation, has an instant access to the program and I do not need to have internet connection to use it.

That it does not have a better visualization of images, it does not allow to zoom to the images that are in my presentation, I have to edit the images before presenting them, I should be able to have a function to zoom the images and thus be able to streamline the explanations of any piece or machine that is presenting in my power point films.

The best feature about this is that it makes things very well organized. makes the data in the slides easy to read and understand. it is maybe the most used program for us healthcare providers or upcoming residents in hospitals, it allows me to gather so much data in one place. I dislike the new amount of features added and the places where I have to go to find it, Or not knowing how to find what I need to use quickly. Especially for older folks who don’t like change much. Having it as a software to open without internet is much more convenient for when I must do a quick PowerPoint on my way to work or on my way home. A one time fee is more acceptable than having to pay yearly for it.

It's awful software, it does the job, but the transitions are tired and overused! As a designer I find it clunky and clumsy, it's best used with the likes of InDesign and Photoshop to prepare slides that look great and import them into Powerpoint as PNGs! There is no finese about this software, the type handling is dreadful, and the Microsoft obsession with Wizards makes using this sofware incredibly irritating unless you have very low visual standards this software is a nightmare to use as a designer!

Every so often I hear or read someone bemoaning how the scourge of PowerPoint is destroying classrooms and corporate presentations. Poppycock, I say. Tremendously powerful, endlessly customizable and highly reliable. PowerPoint has been around for ages, but keeps getting better with each new version. My favorite feature is the ability to create interactive training toolkits, by using the PowerPoint show feature and creating clickable links within the tool that allows users to jump to different sections based on their objectives. We've used this format dozens of times on my team and it has been a gamechanger for us, allowing for easy development of training & education toolkits for our internal users.

There is very little to dislike about PowerPoint. Perhaps the only minor criticism is that new versions take some adjustment, in terms of placement of the toolbar and shifting of icons. I began making presentations since the year 2009 and over that period(9 year),I have tried different presentation programs and I havent found any alternative which gives me the kind of quality I have come to expect when using PowerPoint.
Using PowerPoint,I am able to open and edit presentation slides created with other programs.
I am able to introduce texts with varied colours and font sizes,amongst other customization possibilities I am presented with.
I have also recently began using powerpoint to create videos ; thereby allowing me combine videos ,audio and images in my presentations.

What I like most about this software is that it is very versatile! I use it for making presentations, posters/flyers, invitations, newsletters, books and so much more. I used to have Photoshop on my old computer but no longer own it and didn't want to pay for a new download however I have been able to use PowerPoint as a substitution for a lot of things. Obviously there are many more limitations to photo editing in PowerPoint however I find it able to meet my needs and it is much easier to use then the Paint program on Windows.

What I like least about this software is that sometimes it can be finicky when doing detailed work but it takes more time to master/get used to it. An example is the "snap" feature can be helpful for somethings but can making doing other things very frustrating so you have to juggle that feature.

Ok, so to get straight to the point, I love that I can create .mp4 videos in PowerPoint. I am a tiny, tiny YouTuber and was looking for ways to create my videos, my intro, outro, and cool graphics. Having no start up money, means not being able to afford all of the most used video creators and so forth. But I have worked my way through PowerPoint and found many useful tools, that I didn't know about before. Screen recording, voice recording, and the ability to turn my slides into a .mp4 video file.

This isn't really a con, more of an annoyance. Sometimes when I am creating my slides and video, I am able to do affects on the slide itself, but I am not able to create the transitions from one slide to the next. However, I am aware that this is because I am still learning the software. Once I learn when and how to apply the transitions, then there will be no cons at all for me.

second - when i am using two screens with duplicade screens option, if ı share my screen on webex, and go in to slide show mode, one of the screens goes in to slide Show mode but the other doesnt. I have to click duplicate screens options. Too much step to share my screen with slide show mode. Not sure if this is about webex or PP.
third - wish we can share PP pages so we can work on the same file at the same time. I think it would be possible by locking the page that someone alredy working on. Would be very nice and efficient.

I don't know how many of you have explored the animation capabilities of MS Powerpoint. I have and it's AWESOME. Although the user interface and the timeline could be improved, the capability is fine. You may not beleive it, but once upon a time I was using MS PPT for Motion Graphics and Video Editing too.

The presentation functionality is good. I took a course on Udemy and I made myself familiar with its graphic design, transitions and difficult to do functions. MS PPT even has a background removal tool - although this could be improved a bit.

Altogether, this is an awesome tool that I use regularly although I have swtiched to a more professional software now for video editing.

Feature-wise, this is a good tool. But some of the features are hidden and not so obvious. The user interface could be improved a little to unhide these useful features. The timeline for motion graphics/animation could be improved a lot, but I am happy that it even exists in a presentation software. The design suggestions tool needs a lift up - it never comes when I need it but it always shows up when I don't.

I do not have a lot to complain about apart from the fact that if I put a lot of things in one single slide PowerPoint becomes rather slow. This means I’d have to break my information almost into half onto another slide and as a result I end up with a lot of slides to work with. As a result at times it makes my work seem lengthy and for the person watching my presentation they tend to loose concentration. It doesn’t happen often though when it does happen it creates a negative effect on my presentation as a whole and it bocomes a little redundant.

Even though there are competitors that can provide similar results at this point in time Power Point remains as my favorite presentation software. The ease of use and the amount of options offered for your use is great. You can create interactive, creative, professional presentations with ease in no time what so ever. Not only that the documents can be easily created but they are also compatible with any device that i have put them on. On top of that the learning curve for the software isn't on the steep side as some others so it will not give you any headaches.

Even though it's understandable the files created by Power Point can sometimes get quite big when coupled with Power Points inability to directly share presentations to non Microsoft networks the presentation sharing can get quite tricky. Since some big presentations can get quite big often you are unable to send them through regular email either since the files go over the 25 mb standard.

I like the familiarity of this software, the layout and functionality hasn't really changed for many years, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The layout and menus have changed, which took some getting used to in the most recent large update, but the additional functions provided and reliability updates made up for that. I like the ease of use and stability of this program, even when preparing large presentations for lectures etc. The integration of videos is useful, but not without it's own problems!

The compatibility between operating systems lets this software down. I use a mac, and as an academic, give quite a lot of presentations. When moving from Mac OS to Windows, for example, often leads to bits moving around form where they should be. Animations don't change, but things aren't necessarily in the right place!
