is well suited for the management of social networks

Vorteile

We use Sprout Social because it allows us to conveniently manage our social networks and schedule posts across multiple social channels. What we like most about this tool is that we can publish all our content on a single platform.

Nachteile

What I like least about this tool is that the more users use it, the more expensive it can become.

Reliable, easy to use and easy to navigate.

The ability to create, post and manage content for multiple brands on one easy to use dashboard.

Vorteile

The simplicity and straightforward use. It gives me options to see my calendar and posting schedules in a variety of ways.

Nachteile

I am one person working with 5 brands so a lot of the features go unused or are duplicates of what I have with other tools like Facebook Manager. I do not use, Tasks, discovery or reports at all. They are simply unnecessary for my purposes.

Great value and everything I could need to run a social Media dept.

Vorteile

Sprout Social is constantly improving their functionality and really takes the time to listen to their consumer needs. Scheduling and reporting is made easy, and I love how easy it is to organize all my client files separately. Tagging on the reporting is also a nice feature.

Nachteile

Reporting can feel a little bit limited. I suspect that's got more to do with the social platform's API. Also, their social listening tool only works for Twitter.

Great for social media management, but expensive!

So many features and it was easy to manage for the most part. Liked the calendar and analytics.

It was very pricey. Didn't use all the features so it wasn't worth it.

Sprout Social Review

Super helpful in market/industry research and I will recommend any business owner to use this software in researching into their industry. Totally helpful!

Nachteile

I love

Vorteile

It has good technical advice, and excellent training, it measures my popularity in the different social networks which helps me to know my strengths and my weaknesses and in this way increase my followers, I recommend this application.

Nachteile

For my social sprout is very good, I have nothing negative to say, since I use it I am very pleased with the service so I think it is great and I recommend it.

I used Sprout to moderate and schedule social content for client's social channels.

Social scheduling, publishing and insightful information on your social media posts.

Vorteile

Sprout Social was a good tool to use when you have multiple posts to schedule. It is also good in that it gives you analytics so it has a lot of the functionalities the platforms have all in one place.

Nachteile

It is a bit hard to learn. I definitely needed a tutorial by the Sprout team before going in and working in the platform.

SproutSocial a better option than HootSuite

I've never liked HootSuite, I always felt like it was bulky and not user friendly. Sprout has so many features and keeps them completely user friendly. It's nice to be able to work collaboratively with clients and use the task features to manage any social media crisis or larger teams.

Vorteile

Beautiful, easy to use, the reporting is a nice feature beyond the scheduling.

Nachteile

Wish it was bit better integrated into some of the platforms (i.e. videos on Facebook).

Great product for large accounts

Sprout Social is a great product for a business with a well-established and large social media strategy and reach. The analytics tools available would be invaluable for those who are running and analyzing data all day.

Nachteile

For our small agency Sprout Social was overwhelming and a bit "too much" for our needs.

Sprout Soc

Vorteile

I liked how easy to use this was and how it Brought the company using this together. We all typically work remote so adding Sprout in general was a fantastic way to stay social, conscious of our physical, set goals and challenges and get rewarded! I wish we could have had it longer!!Its super reliable and great to keep us all together and socialize!

Nachteile

Sometimes there were minor glitches but otherwise can't complain!!!

The best tool for managing social media

Vorteile

It offers a series of very complete tools to handle the different aspects of the most important social media, it is easy to use and customize, in addition to helping to automate answers or different aspects of the profiles, it also has the advantage that it can be added to all the work team and distribute the tasks

Nachteile

The only problem that I have found so far is that some monitoring tools may be a bit weak in certain aspects, besides that the price may be a bit high for small businesses

Costly but powerful social media software

Vorteile

You can do so many things! Schedule, report, communicate, and all under one roof. It was really amazing to get such intricate detail on our marketing activities and customer messages in a huge comprehensive dashboard. The UX is really easy to use, you don't really have to spend hours learning the platform, you can just click as you go and find your way easily.

Nachteile

It was just too expensive and niche for our needs, smaller businesses might not have the need for such an advanced software.

Great social listening tool

I was able to get insight from users that did not specifically tag us in posts. In the tourism industry, this was a huge part of growing our audience and engaging with our visitors.

Vorteile

Sprout has a robust social listening tool and that was primarily what I used it for. I loved its single stream inbox that allowed admins to clear out comments as you went through. It was a great tool.

Nachteile

Unless you paid for the higher level, the reporting was a bit lackluster. That was frustrating for a company on a budget, however, it would not deter me from recommending the software.

The system is great I love the functionality

Vorteile

Being able to manage multiple accounts and profiles at once, not having to switch between platforms. It's always being updated to have the same functionality that the actual platform holds and the reporting functions

Nachteile

It is not possible to tag people in the picture or use emojis when tweeting.
I dislike the calendar style view and that their customer service team are in a different time zone!

I like sprout social a lot!

It's been great so far and I plan to keep using it.

Vorteile

I love easy it is to schedule posts across all platforms, especially instagram! I also really like their reports and, of course, their library of photos and the ease of tagging other pages in posts. the post previews are super helpful too as are the content calendars.

Nachteile

I wish I could schedule carousels and, in instagram, more than one photo. I also would like to see the tagging in instagram get to the same level as facebook.

One shop stop for managing all of your social media

May not great be for small institutions due to its price but does the tool is worth it's buy!

Vorteile

The dashboard of Sprout Social is very well built, easy and user-friendly. Also, there is a multitude of features such as inbuilt CRM, data analysis and scheduling tools resp. Lastly, the customer service is really awesome as they are quick to resolve any queries!

Nachteile

It is very expensive especially for small institutions or firms it may be not affordable. The filters for data analysis are limited and more customization is required.

Sprout social is a great tool for someone looking to dig deeper into social media analytics.

Vorteile

Sprout social has the best analytics of any of the social media management platforms I've used in the past. I also really like the approved post feature. Its great for larger teams that have multiple people working within the account.

Nachteile

Sprout social is definitely more pricey compared to some of their competitors. They also recently dropped their annual commitment discount, which is one of the reason why the company I work for decided to switch platforms.

Overall my experience with sprout has been very pleasant.

Convenience and efficiency. And great customer service.

Vorteile

The layout not only works well and is convenient but looks great too. Whenever we had an issue there was always someone there to resolve it quickly which I enjoyed. They also took in customer feedback and made changes like adding new features accordingly.

Nachteile

Sometimes it freezes and I have to reload the page. There is no drag and drop feature. And the discover search engine doesn't seem like the most accurate thing

Sprout is a great tool to schedule social content and engage with consumers.

Vorteile

One stop shopping at it's best! We use sprout to schedule social media posts all in one spot. A HUGE thing we look for when using software are the learning curve and customer service. Sprout gets an A+ in both departments. The interface is beautiful, clean and easy to use. The drop downs are intuitive and you don't have to guess around to get what you want done.

They have rolled out a listening tool that we recommended when we were considering the product which makes it even more robust!

The reporting features are great too. You're able to export them reports and add your own branding if you wanted to send the reports to client or plop them in your own documentation. If you run in to any snags or have issues their customer support is responsive and quick to get a hold of.

Nachteile

The platform isn't all encompassing so some things are add-on expenses. Which is understandable. Everyone doesn't need/want social listening capabilities, but it's a nice add on to have. Do I wish it were included, yes, but I get it.

The Maserati Social Platforms

So far, so good! Love our Rep, give him a raise!

Vorteile

I love the consistency, analytics, organization, bells and whistles! I'm so glad we switched this year, we had publishing issues with Hootsuite, it was unreliable and offered us limited insights on our social channels.

Nachteile

This soft-wear was not made for a large retailer with multiple locations (50+) and pages (100+). I have different needs than your standard user or agency and I feel unheard when I make suggestions to our rep to send to the developers. Please add a better sorting function to the publisher. Example: I have 50 facebook pages for our stores. I want to be able to filter out just those pages and not have to do it 1 at a time. If I could select them all at once, it would save me a lot of hassle. Hootsuite offers this, you should too! It's a pretty basic function. Thanks!!!

Very comprehesive and love that is is mobile compatible.

Vorteile

I can access from anywhere and I can post to instagram! I also love being able to track keywords. The queue feature is awesome too for filling in content gaps.

Nachteile

Wish I could search for past content in order to re-send or look up stats easily. I miss the old publishing view. While the calendar is helpful, I liked being able to see everything listed out as before.

Amazing software for this budding agency

I felt wanted despite being a 1 user account. I demoed over 5 competitors. None matched. One had similar customer service, but not the features. Hands down, based on research and experience, I feel I got the ONLY application that meets all my needs and makes me happy to do so.

Vorteile

Customer service from pre-sales, to sale, to established user has been top notch!

Nachteile

There are a few features I wish I could do from the platform, but from my research, a lot of these are blocked by the platforms themselves.

Sprout is great until it's not.

For almost a year I enjoyed using Sprout until we switched to Buffer and it was way easier and significantly cheaper. Also, Sprout started not posting scheduled posts to Instagram and their support team couldn't fix it for weeks. Our team would be on the phone with them, emailing them, or in chat inbox, with them every day for weeks and the problem never got fixed. We wish it worked out differently.

Vorteile

I liked how I could answer comments from all the platforms we had connected in one place. Linked In, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

Nachteile

It's extremely expensive for how many errors occur. The customer service techs are very friendly and should get a 10 for being agreeable and understanding of angry customers however​ they rarely are able to fix problems.​

Great for Scheduling!

I am happy with Sprout. It does exactly what I need it to do with no problems.

Vorteile

Working in social media means I have to be online A LOT. One thing that I love about Sprout Social is that I can schedule all of my content for the weekend so I can take a step back and not have to be on my phone all the time. Scheduling ahead of time is a great time saver.

Nachteile

My profiles seem to disconnect more than have on other platforms. Not a huge deal, very easy to fix.

Great software for managing multiple social media platforms.

Very easy to manage social media platforms.

Vorteile

I really like the multiple options available on Sprout and the ease of use. We have tried other management tools for social media but they were not user-friendly or did not connect to all platforms. My favorite features are the publishing/scheduling tool and the reports. It is really easy to schedule a post on multiple platforms at the same time and advises you on the guidelines of each platform as you go so the post will not be rejected. It also gives you multiple reports for free to review your progress and set goals. I use the messaging feature as well.

Nachteile

It would be nice to be able to view all of the feeds on this software and post on Pinterest as well.

Really great social manager with a lot of analytics options

Sprout Social will help simply and supercharge your social media management.

Vorteile

Sprout makes managing social posts and assets really easy. I've used many other social many other social managers in the past few years, and this is by far the most elegant. The UI is pleasing, the functionality dependable and the integrations are robust. I make particularly heavy use of the bit.ly integration, which saves a lot of time switching tabs.

The main benefit of Sprout Social, though, has to be the reporting. Being able to see how a post or campaign has performed at a glance is really quite handy. That in conjunction with the "listening" feature makes planning out future campaigns much more productive.

Nachteile

My only real complaint about Sprout is the per-user price, but if your team only has a single social manager it is well worth the cost.

Sprout social is certainly convenient, but sendible may be a better option for us.

Not terribly pleased with sprout social.

Vorteile

The ease of scheduling, it's basically a scheduling app, and nothing more.

Nachteile

offers very little insight into our followers which is ridiculous. Pinterest, youtube, twitter, and all other platforms offer insights into users and sprout social does not.

Great product, the Inbox feature is top notch

Easier organization and great analytics

Vorteile

If you're a brand that gets a lot of comments, this product is for you. The inbox feature organizes your fan engagement into a single stream so you no longer have to click from channel to channel to see what your fans are saying. You can see conversations you've had with people and it makes engagement simple!

Nachteile

The calendar option is okay but could use work. I'd like to see a more organized feature separated by campaigns and an option to change the text for future posts.

Not as helpful as it used to be

Sprout used to be my one stop shop to manage my social media profiles but unfortunately it is not as valuable a tool for me as it used to be. The reports/analytic feature is really the only thing keeping me as a client at this point

Vorteile

I love Sprout’s easy to understand and convenient reports feature

Nachteile

Now that Instagram changed its API, Sprout no longer can capture hashtags or locations, making it a lot less helpful to me than it was in the past. I have to spend so much time in-app now that I usually capture regular comments in app before replying in Sprout

A powerful tool with a pretty interface

It's a powerful tool, has something for every client's needs and easy enough to understand and navigate that can be used by every level in the business and the client as well.

Vorteile

The interface is very clean, most tools are easily accessible for every feature available and also, the very stylish and friendly design really improves the user experience, makes it more enjoyable. I'm particularly attached to the Smart Inbox, and how you can have all your social media interaction in one place as well as its connection with the Bot.

Nachteile

The bot feature only connects through social media accounts and doesn't have a standalone version, that could give a better, more professional look to a client's website.

It's great for tracking enagement

I've no intent on using it for social post automation - would be great if there was just a free option you could use for analytics.

Vorteile

I do really like the engagement tracking, makes it easier for me when planning social posts & strategy for the week.

Nachteile

I felt it was a bit spammy with the marketing emails, and they ask for too much from you. It could easily be stripped back.

Sprout Social is Top of the Line, But...

I think Sprout Social is an excellent tool and the interface is very user-friendly. However, I can't justify the cost when I can get all of these features outside the platform for significantly less.

Vorteile

Sprout Social offers pretty much all of the features you need and want for social media management. It has a mailbox that allows you to manage all mentions, comments, etc. The reports are very extensive –– more extensive than any other platform I've used. If you have a large budget and spare no expense, this is the platform for you.

Nachteile

The features come at a premium price. It's hard to justify paying so much for the platform when you can get these features for a more reasonable price with other platforms. You might need to use two platforms to get everything offered inside Sprout Social, but it'll likely still cost you less. You also pay per user, and you get no discount for adding multiple users to the platform. You also have to pay extra for things like social listening, which is included on other platforms at no additional cost.

excellent, I like it Sprout Social

Vorteile

I love, its features and the functionality with which it allows you to perform tasks, it is great and very easy to use.

Nachteile

I really only have one complaint, what I would like is to include YouTube of the rest excellent program

Sprout social is great for analytics

Vorteile

The reporting and analytics make it quick and easy to get people the analytics they want. It is so easy to pick the analytics you'd like to create a report on and email a beautiful visual reporting doc to the person who wants it.

Nachteile

The publishing feature sometimes does not work and links post broken or missing. I also think there should be more insight into posting times and more options for smart time posting.

Super useful for social media marketing

Easily the best social media management tool I've used.

Vorteile

This software is something I use EVERY day. There are so many features that I almost feel like I find more every day. Sprout makes it easy to do community management for multiple organizations and plan their posts.

Nachteile

There have been a few minor problems but they are fixed quickly. I recently was unable to tag Facebook posts for a few hours (with a "can't query" message) but it was better within a few hours.

Can Be Expensive, But Can Be Worth The Price

I have used Sprout Social at multiple organizations with great success. While this may not be the platform I recommend for most small businesses due to the price, it is definitely worth it for larger enterprises and larger businesses.

Easy to use, great response time and plenty of analytics.

More easy of posting and more analytics

Vorteile

The analytics features and reporting tool. I love the depth of information provided. I can customize reports easily for our clients based on what network is most relevant to them and what information they want to see.

Nachteile

The lack of Pinterest support. It would be nice to have everything all in one place. Price is also on the high end, but I think at the end of the day you get more value for your dollar than with some other social media management tools.

Enormous time saver

We chose Sprout Social over Hootsuite and various others because of its easy-to-use interface, access to the most social media platforms we use, and its price point. It has been an incredible help with organizing and planning social media posts and campaigns. The only thing missing is the ability to post on Instagram.

Intuitive and easy to use. We are able to use Sprout to manage, schedule, view and respond on almost every social media platform we use. The scheduling function alone saves us so much time.

Nachteile

The inability to schedule posts for Instagram.

User-friendly, needs more features

Vorteile

It's user-friendly and makes social media management so much easier by allowing to schedule posts and sometimes comments. I also like that they give warnings to make sure we use the best practices for each social media channel

Nachteile

The platform needs more features, like allowing to post several pictures on Instagram, schedule IGTV videos, and schedule stories on Facebook and Instagram. It's also complicated to add additional accounts to Sprout

“More” features than you’ll likely need

Excellent tool for social medial planning. Unsure if it’s “worth” it given the high cost.

Vorteile

We primarily use sprout social to schedule our Instagram posts. There are very few software packages that allow for direct posting/scheduling for Instagram. Sprout Social is one of them.

Nachteile

There’s a lot of other functionality that frankly we don’t use. And because of the additional functionality, the software ends up costing a lot.

Good social publishing tool

Vorteile

It's simple, easy to use, and provides the necessary functionality for scheduling content for multiple social accounts. I also love the content that the company puts out in its emails and blogs.

Nachteile

It's not as advanced as some publishing tools in terms of social listening and analytics.

Sprout Social for Social Media

Overall, sprout saves time which is great. I love using this tool and will continue to use it.

Vorteile

I love how easy to use sprout social is, it's so easy to schedule posts to go up on the weekend when I'm not working. I can schedule the post and then forget about it.

Nachteile

I can only schedule one instagram photo to upload per post, I wish I could schedule more at a time, sometimes its easy to just post from instgram.

Solid social media hub for operations!

Vorteile

I love how it reliably and easily serves as a central hub for the handling and tracking of all of our social media outlets and interactions. It's a great way to keep an eye on associate touches and back-and-forths between product users and support agents.

Nachteile

It took me some time to get used to the flow of it, but nothing major. I would like having more easily accessible training material.

Very satisfied with the features, ease of use, and customer support.

Vorteile

Very easy to use and intuitive for new users. We did not have to do a formal training and most team members jumped right in with using the tool.

Constantly introducing new features - and keeping us up to speed with what is next in the pipeline. Really appreciate the transparency and openness to our "wish list." We feel comfortable sharing our ideas and knowing they are going to the right people for consideration.

Nachteile

The current features are enough for our day-to-day work, but there are a few we'd like to see added (Pinterest, downloading comments for winner selection on IG posts, scheduling IG stories, etc.)

Nachteile

With this application you save time and you are active in all your social networks, so far I have nothing against it to say.
