The functionality compares a 100% to software which is much more expensive. Sometimes it's even better. Smaller businesses cannot afford the license and maintenance fees of the well known vendors. Support Questions within the testing period where answered in a timely manner.

Within the testing period and after we didn't find any problems with the software, yet.

What i like about this program is that program can allow others to come into your computer and show how things are done online. Such as selling for instance. I had someone use splashtop remote support to show me how to do something that pertain to selling online.

Nachteile

What i least had issues with was the connection issues. You would get booted off and the other person would be booted and you had to reconnect everytime. That the only downfall i had with the splashtop remote support program.

One account can be used to access several computers. Once the streamer is installed and logged into they sync to the access software.

The program works without any issues that I have seen.

Pricing is amazing and so far, has worked great for me! I was beyond happy with Splashtop support for the one time I've requested assistance.

Nothing specific... I'm not able to install other software on my work computer, so from there, I have had to use the Chrome based version, it doesn't have all of the features the full version does, but it's sufficient to remote to my home computer in a quick need to move files or check on things etc.

Our employees love it and find it much easier and quicker to use than Logmein which we used previously.

Splashtop is a user friendly software to obtain access for remote work. It is easy to use and very secure.

I am tapping into a computer remotely to access our QuickBooks program for my job. If the laptop I am tapping into is shut off or someone else is at the office accessing QuickBooks, it will kick me off or lock me out. It would be nice for multi user access.

The mobile functions for androids is kinda complicated.

slow. It was very slow to render. File transfer was not easy enough and was unable to change date format which was annoying more than anything else.

I had been a GoToMyPC user for many years and the rates continue to increase almost every year. I searched for a comparable solution and found Splashtop.
When evaluating the differences between the two I found that I could get everything I needed for a whole lot less with Splashtop

Every once in a while my Mac will lose connection. I haven’t been able to figure out if it’s a Internet issue or the software.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm on a macbook, or if this is the case with any laptop you're remoting in with - but I can't use copy/paste/shortcuts and that makes things a lot more difficult.

This was a cost effective alternative to what we were using for remote support that we ended up liking even better. Splashtop is more intuitive to use, more responsive, and a better overall feel.

I do wish there were more customization to the roles in user management. My team cannot operate the software in the capacity that they need unless they are assigned the Admin role. Making each role have customization would go a long way in taking care of this.

It works! I like that it connects to a Computer at my work, this makes it faster to respond and if I lose connection I don't lose my work, it is just there where I left off when I connect back in.

ease of use! It's reliable, we don't notice any lag time, and it opens up our abilities to work off-site for a very reasonable rate.

I'd like to remote in two directions for the basic rate. So I can access the off-site computer from either location.

This software allows me to easily telework from home. It completely mirrors my computer at work, so I have access to all my files. It is easy to use and keeps me from having to physically transfer my files on a USB flash drive and re-save the files from home to work. Before I used this software, when I worked at home, I often found I needed files on my computer at work that I did not have with me.

Our winery tasting room shut down during Covid and we began an aggressive online sales model. Splashtop allowed me to manage our POS, shipping, reporting, and customer contact from home. Incredible value.

Consistency: I'm able to get to the remote desktop every time with the same sequence. No surprises. It is fast and has the features I need to support my customers: remote printing, secure, quick.

It was painful to install. The go here, now go here, now go here, no get a dual authenticator, now log in, now log out....Phew - took over 1 hour :(

We like the management capabilities, the speed of the product and ease of use. Most of all we like that it performs smoothly with live rendering and video where other remote connection tools are jumpy or laggy.

The multi-monitor functions are clunky. Please develop the ability to break out the two monitors into separate windows so each remote window can be put on a separate monitor on the side you're connecting from. Many staff members at our company are requesting this.

The software is easy to set up, for both the Admin and the User. Takes about five minutes and you're done. Once the connection is made, you'll have no problem making changes and assisting the User.

I used TeamViewer for several years and was looking for a cheaper alternative. Splashtop is a great alternative to Teamviewer at a much more sensible cost

I found it very easy to use and it is simple to work around. I usually use it off of my mobile device and have used it to work from home on my laptop. Both times the worked seamlessly. The remote wake function is what really sold us because we aren't always on the host computer. Other programs didn't offer that or if they did they were way over priced. Splashtop is definitly worth the price you pay.

When COVID-19 hit, we had to conduct business very differently than before, we were considered an essential business. But our Accounts Receivable and Payable personnel were able to stay home and still get our daily accounting taken care of & that kept them on payroll without having to risk their exposure to the virus.

So far I do not have any complaints about this software, we are still exploring it and trying all of it's components.
