I have used multiple different email marketing systems in the past and found them all very confusing as I am not a "tech" person. I was recommended to try Active Campaign and absolutely loved it from the start. It was so simple to use, very user friendly, and I was able to easily figure it out on my own. I recommend Active Campaign to everyone I know now.

Active Campaign has everything I need at the moment. I can't think of anything I dislike about the software.

It wasn't clear if triggers to add a contact to a campaign would effect contacts who already had the tag or only contacts that got tagged going forward in the future.

I enjoy using the software to communicate with my customers on a semi monthly basis. It is conveniently able to create templates that are straightforward for people who do not know how to use HTML. The editor is very convenient and I would recommend it as a tool for anyone who needs a CRM for their customers.

I've been using Active Campaign to manage my free resources, opt-ins, and email newsletter for a few months now and have been very happy with how easy it is to set up automations, templates, and review data.

At first it takes a bit to get used to especially for those with no experience. However although their systems are excellent, it is their online courses and customer support that really shines. I cannot say enough good things about their videos and text manuals with their easy to follow instructions.

The initial learning curve is a bit steep but their videos are great. Having nearly the full suite right off the bat is a bit overwhelming.

The tech support and training far exceeds anything I ever experienced with two previous service providers. Whether I wanted to talk live with someone, get chat support, or search online for a how-to video, I have almost always been able to get my needs met.

There is a sizable learning curve. However, it's because the software is so incredibly robust. So, it does take time to learn how to properly set up your automations. But, the end result (and the low price) are so worth it.

I primarily use ActiveCampaign for email marketing, it is extremely easy to use, the setup was intuitive and the emails are super easy to create using templates.

The show stopper for me was the support or lack thereof. I submitted a support issue and the initial response took over 18 hours. The response was my issue and been reviewed and was being passed to another individual and I would be followed up with. Never did. Other communications with support took hours to get responses. Personally cant trust my customer communications to that level of support. Will watch for reviews in future and if they get it together, I might reconsider.

I had some teething problems at the start but the customer service team went above ad beyond to help me. It's really good value for money too. Most other companies charge a fortune for this level of service, so I highly recommend Active Campaign to any business owner out there.

There was some teething problems initially regarding sending out double emails to people who had already subscribed to my mailing list, but this was fixed and compensated for very quickly.

For the money, this very good software for staying in touch with your prospects and clients. Duplicate email addresses won’t count more than once, as I understand. Easy to put together emails. Study Hall and training sessions are very helpful.

I’m still learning and it’s not completely intuitive to set everything up. It’s taking me longer than I expected to learn everything, especially pitting multiple pieces together and integrating with my website.
