Mximize your time
Vorteile
The fact that the softwares saves me 4-6 hours a day to do other important things is a game changer.
Nachteile
I would love to see a software integration to maximize drive time between job by showing the optimium place to schedule a new job.

House Call is Great! But some very critical elements are not being implemented

Scheduling, invoicing, and accounting is Very easy to use. Ability to TAG customers and Tag Jobs is awesome!

> Some very important features are not being updated like the Post Card campaigns. We send Christmas post cards out every year and the feature is lacking is some very critical ways and hasn't been updated since I signed up in 2016. I've pointed out these flaws to HCP each time I use the feature and still have not seen any improved implementation. Very frustrating and time consuming to get the post cards to the right clients and exlude the ones you don't want. It really just needs some major improvement
> The customization of the Customer heading for invoices/ Estimates needs to be more flexible so you can Have a Customer Name & Job Name, Customer address and job address (different scenarios). This is an essential feature that is missing unless you do some drastic custom editing just to get it the way you want which takes alot of playing around just to get right, then you have to switch everything back when your done.
> They charge extra to have an essential feature that allows you to send reminders to maintenance customers.
> HCP Doesn't allow you to save customized Email headings when you send invoices and estimates, so you have to save templates on your computer and copy and paste them each time. The default heading is very simple and crude: "Hi JOHN DOE, Attached please find estimate #5555 from "John Doe Cleaning" Thank you.

My Experience with HouseCall Pro
I loved their customer service. That is always a part of the way a evaluate a service.
Vorteile
The functionality of the app for my workers. The workers knew what the house looked like, they were given the directions to the location, and the workers did not have to sign - in to sign - out. This app allowed me to treat my workers professionally ... not requiring them to sign in, however, they did have to sign out.
Nachteile
The unattractive window for buying the services on line. It was unattractive and not very intuitive for people who want to book online and also their documentation (the "how to") should be laid out in a simpler way. It should be understandable to a 4th grader, yes I'm a retired educator.

This software is a game changer
Vorteile
Our customers love the communication. Our staff love how easy it is to use the app. It sets us miles ahead of our competition and gives us that sharp professional look we strive to bring our customers on the job. The fact that it communicates with our Quickbooks software makes the accounting end simple and saves a tremendous amount of time.
Nachteile
At this point, there isn't anything I don't like about HCP! I am a happy customer!

This is the program I needed
I have been using Housecall Pro for four years for our property maintenance company. I would hate to go back to paper and pencil (and eraser!) scheduling. This keeps all my records for me, and makes it as easy as possible to send out invoices. I do have to explain how it works to clients, since I must estimate an amount to bill them when I put their job on the calendar, and they are sent a notice of the scheduling. But once they understand it's only an estimate, and I will adjust that to match the actual work done before I send the invoice, most people get it. The people who work the help desk are usually extremely helpful, whether it's figuring out what I'm doing wrong, or passing my wishlist for improvements to the engineers for the next update. I don't use the part that lets clients schedule themselves, because I need to be in charge of my crews and their time, so I can't speak about how that works.
Basically, I love this program, and with a few more tweaks, it will be almost perfect. You should get it.

Game changer!
Before Housecall, we were scheduling using Google Cal and texting jobs to our employees- It was a nightmare. We have grown our business 500% since that time and owe so much of our success to the incredible way we can run our business through Housecall. We tried several other programs before Housecall and they all paled in comparison!

Housecall pro is user friendly and full of resources we use every day from scheduling to invoicing to time trackers for our employees and much more.
Nachteile
No cons! Housecall listens to their “pros” and makes adjustments as needed. We’ve loved growing with them!

Reminders
I love this program because it is pretty detailed except for the reminders and to retain clients you need to make their entire experience stress free and this seems to be a stressor for my clients. Please please fix it.

I was turned on to the program when I saw the many functions you offered to allow companies to send off many reminders to the clients. The biggest complaint from clients is reminders and teams showing up. My issue with the reminders on your program is not detailed enough. The app that integrates with the system doesn't offer what I need. Zenmaid does, so I know it can't be that difficult, but they didn't offer other things you did. If we can fix the detail of the reminders, the program would be amazing.

The reminders are not flexible enough to detail them to certain types of reminders

Good software
My overall experience is good, I just wish you can update the website on the desktop, as for the house call pro app is perfect and straight to the point, works quickly and consistently, the desktop website is very slow and takes a while to load.
Vorteile
I like the convenience it gives to the customer, and a lot of other things like the option to be able to speak to a staff member.
Nachteile
The batch invoices, I would like to see a total at the end of all the batch invoices so if the customer wants to pay with one check, it would give the total at the end with all the invoices. Also, when changing the scheduling, I don't like for example if I'm changing the schedule for the following week, i have to constantly click to the week after I change something, it doesn't redirect me to the page I was originally on, I have to go back to the schedule.

Cleaning Company
It has been great so far. The price point was good for me in the beginning.
Vorteile
Mobile dispatching, GPS, fairly easy to use. Text updates. Omw, start, finish.
Nachteile
Notifys everyone when you make a change, no service agreements for weekly and biweekly clients, doesnt allow tipping on the customer facing app, no monthly statements for credit cards. Clients can't leave us notes, I dont have someone I can call - I like the chat bubbles but a lot of times I dont have time to wait or watch a video to learn. I also dont like I cant see the time elapsed on the app.

Great product if you own a cleaning service!
I enjoy using it on a daily basis. I love the feature where the customer can actually booked Services right through the housecall Pro app.
Vorteile
I liked the fact that you could process credit card transactions from customers right from the app and did not have to process cards through a separate merchant account.
Nachteile
The rates to process credit cards are slightly higher than the other merchants. Not only did I have to pay a percentage but I also had to pay $0.30 per transaction.

Wish I would have known
it was good it got me from place to place without getting lost told me prices so I could tell the customers and I was able to cash every customer out with the system

what I liked about this software was that there was so many features on there the contact information for your customers MapQuest so you know where you're going price ranges you can add on services... The only bad thing is unfortunately my company did not teach us how to use all those things so we didn't fully get to use the app correctly

it was a little bit confusing that could be however because we never got taught how to use it but just figuring it out yourself it was a little difficult

Great At A Lot!

It still does not have encrypted Credit Card Functions so we have to input credit card information constantly.

the most encompassing application for service based small business
One Application for all my business needs. I LOVE IT!
Vorteile
It encompasses many tools, if not all, that a small service business needs: basic crm, basic email marking, sales recording, estimates, scheduling, employees time tracking, clients' service notifications, invoicing, payment processing... all in ONE single application... WOW! No more duplications juggling with several apps!
Nachteile
The employees time tracking could be improved: ability to check my staff from my mobile app, ability to freeze or color cells to allow for better visionning of large team.
The merging into quickbooks sometimes does have some hiccups, so beware.
It would be nice to have a nice picture sizing application available within the postcards app.

The scheduling of each job has great info to reference back to, the customer profiles is efficient for valuable data pertaining to that customer. My Sales Rep assisted me above and beyond.

It’s so nice how all communication is in the app with pictures, pricing, etc. and it flows to QuickBooks.

I wish I could have 2 accounts and toggle within the app between locations so I can easily schedule from my phone without having to login in and out.
