I would like the mobile app to include bulk email. So I can email all in the field.

When hitting Dinah there should be a second window with a check box to not show again to close this stop. I close the stop when trying to select another body of water to enter in the data. Kinda annoying but not critical

I love Skimmer for keeping me and the guys organized. But I really love their customer service. I have probably been Over Needy, yet they never flinched. Someone is Always there for me to answer my questions and find the best way Skimmer can work for my company.

Nothing so far that I dislike. But I would like to see the route map have a few more options such as a blue route indicator line.

I like that it keeps communication clear and in one place, it allows for many notes to be inputted along with photos, so we can get serial numbers, or show clients things that need to be fixed. It eliminates the "loosing" of paper notes, and keeps everyone on the same page.

Nachteile

There are times it messes with the route techs that do regular services start and finish times, making it difficult to know exactly how long they were at a property.

When I open my route for the day it jumps to the work orders which is annoying and one extra step.

We were stuck on the old way of running our company service, paper weekly sheets turned in by our service team. We made the plunge after our boys joined us in our company. Wow - what a difference it has made. The ease of scheduling & the new billing feature as helped tremendously. The old saying might not apply to skimmer - “You CAN teach an old dog new tricks””

Sometimes it lags a bit & our techs Cant get logged in. Another slight glitch I see is the last stop shows it is still open & my tech has completed the stop & finished for the day

Skimmer is an incredible software that can do everything a owner of a pool maintenance company could dream. I highly recommend Skimmer to each and everyone who is in the pool industry. It has made my life a million times easier and the Skimmer team has phenomenal service. 10/10 recommend!

I truly have nothing bad to say about skimmer, there is nothing I don’t like about the app.

Where do I start? From the finance and admin perspective, I love being able to use the historical data to calculate fair rates and wages. I love to be able to see profit margins and skipped stops. And it is very affordable. From a customer relations perspective, people rave about our service emails. They love receiving pictures and their chemical numbers. It helps us maintain communication between technicians and customers. From a functionality perspective, it is reliable!! Glitches are rare and if they ever happen customer service is all over it. I love that I feel comfortable emailing customer service with enhancement suggestions and they are able to even let me know in a very timely manner if a feature is already in the queue. This application has changed the course of our business and continue to impress us when they roll out updates and enhancements.

Nachteile

Having come from the world of software development, I know enhancements are prioritized and they take time...a lot of time. I would prefer the exporting of invoices to Quickbooks be more robust so more than a small batch can be exported at a time, but I also recognize that the efforts were put into getting the application to be our sole source of invoicing. If I could easily manage the bookkeeping side within skimmer that would be perfect. I also use a third party company for our merchant services and get better rates through that company than if I were to take payments through Skimmer. I would love to have Skimmer be our only application in the future, but these needs must be met before I make the move. I'll be patient!

We like just about everything this app has to offer for our company. We highly suggest that all Pool Cleaning Services out there, big or small, consider trying this app out. They recently integrated billing, and will soon be integrating estimates and quotes from the mobile app as well. We are eager to try them out after the success we have had with all other aspects of the system so far.

Nachteile

I am hoping that with estimates and quotes getting worked on, that the price-book will become more comprehensive within the system. We would like to be able to present estimates with pictures along with maybe integrating finance companies for our customer to utilize to help pay for remodels or bigger repairs.

We actually use service titan as well for our service technicians and remodel side of the business, but hope that with the upgrades skimmer has been promising, we can ditch service titan all together to combine all aspects of our business into one USER FRIENDLY application.

SKIMMER is an all in one tool that every swimming pool service technician should use. I no longer need to carry a logbook in my truck, billing at the end of the month is made very simple using one click of a button.

My least favorite part of going to SKIMMER was adding one additional monthly bill for additional software. We are looking to cut costs. The last thing I want to do is add additional costs, but overall SKIMMER saves me money and time.

Skimmer has a lot of features and can be tricky to figure out, It can be frustrating. I’m still learning how to access all the potential Skimmer has to offer. So there really is no bad side to it.

It was important for me to have a scheduling and billing system all one. There are other systems out there but I found Skimmer to be the easiest to setup and use.

Initially when I started using Skimmer the billing function was not available. However, since the beginning of 2023 billing has been added.

We have been using Skimmer since day one its very easy app to onboard Tech out in the field we been using program over a year and keep loving the updated improvement they are adding, for example bill and invoicing easy, I love how they listen to the feedback we provide and continue to make the app better

The have improved the billing and invoicing , I used integrate to Quickbooks billing and I find that using Skimmer new billing I saved a step

Skimmer app enabled us to go from hand written 2 pt carbonless tickets manually entered, to 100% paperless, saving hours hours and hours of time. Amazing customer support

The biggest customer complaint is “I don’t think you showed up to clean my pool”. Those complaints have virtually stopped. And if someone does bring it up, it’s very easy to find their service report and show them that we were there and what we did while there.
