My favorite feature is definitely scheduling. It's incredibly straightforward, and it makes rearranging routes and schedules a breeze. The convenience it offers has been a game-changer for us, and I am beyond grateful for the countless ways it has helped us.

I really have no complaints about SKIMMER. It has allowed me to minimize the tedious tasks that I was handling. I have moved just about every aspect of my company over to SKIMMER in some form or fashion. From maintenance routes and service calls to everyday scheduling (regardless of what it is for). I couldn't do what I do in a day without SKIMMER

What I like least about SKIMMER is I didn't find it sooner. I have been using them for I believe close to 4 years now. Just in the first month of use, I noticed a dramatic decrease in missed tasks, or overlooked issues.

I like being able to have the customer equipment pictures so I can assist them without having to go to their pool.

Skimmer does not have the option to schedule daily routes

Skimmer allows us to do our jobs more proficiently and accurately. It keeps the customers in the loop and shows them what the pool looks like after we've been there to clean it. I use to have customers accuse us of not cleaning their pools when all we left was a slip of paper under the skimmer and now we have photographic evidence of the work that has been done.

Chem readings and dosage data is huge for us. We track everything & appreciate having instant access to customer records and service data. The UI is fantastic. easy to use, search customers, history & chem usage. QBO integration is easy & user freindly.

a more robust chemical history would be ideal. not every reading is checked upon every visit. it would be nice to have the last data point for each chem reading available on the customers "home page" on each visit to help calculate LSI. Speaking of LSI, it would really be great to have the app calculate LSI based upon chem readings automatically. It's a pain to have to switch apps and re-enter data to calculate LSI. We need broadcast texting! I know [sensitive content hidden] said it's coming when we met today, but it is something that we will use weekly.

The RECORDKEEPING is phenomenal, if you use this software correctly you can literally have no loose ends when a customer or any employee disputes something. Skimmer covers all of our "evidence" on all repairs, cleans, before and after pictures with captions for our service guys has been a game changer. Our sales in repairs are through the roof because of it, when the customer sees the repair tech send photos of detailed issues with parts, and is then able to explain why is massive.

Having to email the work order to complete the job is awful, to be frank we have 100's of work orders completed but the customers don't want an email from a repair when they are already getting pool cleaning emails, and invoices after.

It's the most over complicated programing I've ever tried to grasp, I don't even know if the best coder and engineer combined could figure this software out. The [sensitive content hidden] of the programs webinar was the most overwhelming experience and I've been in this industry for 10 years. He talked more about his companies success and the complexity of the program was insane. Whoever the [sensitive content hidden] is, he needs to lay off the Adderall or Coffee

If you are on the pool and spa service and repair side, this is the best software you can get hands down. The photos must be taken in real time, so cleaners and techs can not take advantage of their company and my heart and soul is in this. Don't ever change the photo feature.

Skimmer has brought us up to speed with technology. The features streamlined our business with a customer database, route tracking, work order tracking, routine maintenance tracking and lots of other niche features. Most recently, the Skimmer integrated invoicing has already relieved many headaches with QBO. Their team has been very receptive to feedback more recently and I look forward to seeing the Skimmer team build on more great ideas.

I feel as though the work orders section for automating the repair side of our business could use a lot of work but we are able to make it work for our small sized business...I can't see it working effectively for a large company. More customization in general within Skimmer to mold the software around your business would set them apart and allow for companies to grow into the software adding features they need over time.

It would be nice to see the tags from the route page so you can automatically see if it’s a salt pool, which side to go in, dogs, etc. Especially if someone is filling in on that route.

Easy set up and adjustments make it fast to comprehend and organize. It’s designed especially for pool companies and has a ton of pre set parts and chemicals already ready for you to input where needed.

Estimating and service work outside of the normal route can be a little difficult to set up like the route. It’s all still there and I can’t say too much as I don’t use skimmer for this type of work.

The app is buggy and for the first year of use, whenever we would complain about a software issue, Skimmer personnel would blame us - either our internet connection wasn’t good enough, we were out of date on updates, or the software wasn’t intended to be used with Chrome. They would never accept responsibility. Invoicing within the program has been promised for more than a year. It still is t ready. Now, the ability to transfer invoicing to Quickbooks is broken. It has been broken for more than a week and all we get is “sorry for the inconvenience.”

Easy software on both ends- for the pool cleaners and for management. Nice app for phones and very easy and intuitive online app for calculation costs and pay-outs to the cleaners.

For our situation, we are still reliant on Quickbooks and cannot at this point move totally over to Skimmer for all customers- those with weekly service and occasional services needed.

We have been a skimmer user for many years. Like all software applications, it took a bit to get it working the way we wanted. But after an adjustment time, asking for a few additional features, and modifying our daily process somewhat, we couldn't imagine not using it every day.

Sometimes overall speed is an issue. Also, usability on older phones can be a bit of a problem.

So far everything has satisfied what was needed. The only thing that we hope comes to the platform sooner than later is the ability to send updates, service summaries, etc through the platform via txt. We have been told that this is on the road map for upgraded features.

Every now and then we run across a bug or a glitch, but the software team is so incredibly accessible and helpful, it really hasn't been an issue.

Skimmer allowed me to change my business model. The ability to track product usage per customer has allowed me to make sure I never lose money by not charging for products I used at a customers house. In turn I make more money, and this is how Skimmer changed my life!

This app is easy to use. The customer service can't be beat. It is very intuitive and has all the tools for logging chemical dosages and chemical readings as well as recurring work such as filter cleaning. You can easily manage your route and see on a map the location of all your customers. You need to at least check this app out and try it for free for 30 days.

I have one day a week where my wife and I alternate the pools for that day. I wish all the pools I'm skipping for that week would not show up along with the pools I'm servicing that my wife is skipping.
